A/N: Hi, hi! I'm back again, and as I promised here's another update, enjoy :).

Natsu's POV

My breath hitches and I try to run as fast as I can with Lucy in my arms, her body cold and hurt by the impact of the attack. I feel- mad, ashamed of myself. I was able to protect everyone but the one most dearest to my heart. Taking a closer look at her expression I can feel her sorrow.

"Luce…"

I can feel the other's foot steps near, and I know they're as worried for Lucy as I am. Taking a closer look at the Magnolia night while I run I can see that all the ice has been melted by my fire, and the town has gone back to normal. Well more or less the weather is still slowly going back to normal.

I keep running and reach the guild hall, slamming the doors open. Everyone's staring at us as I run in.

"What happened to Lucy child?"Master asked me, worried like all the other staring guild members.

I brush his question off, and run towards the infirmary. "I'll tell you later gramps, sorry!"

I run to the infirmity and find my sister waiting for me already. "Wendy how did you-"

"Gajeel told me Natsu, it's alright! Now give her to me!" Wendy said knowingly. I'd have to thank Gajeel for that one. With Lucy still in my arms, Wendy pushed me to give her to her.

I watched as Wendy checked her vitals and her body. I was anxious to say the least, Lucy, my only and first love, the one that I wanted to protect, and damn the one who'd bare my children if she lets me, was hurt. The only reason being I was too weak to protect her.

I watched her beautiful face, she had a grim expression and she showed discomfort, so I took my hands in front of her and started heating them thoroughly. While I comforted her Wendy kept healing and examining her.

"Natsu, Lucy's wounds will heal, but I need you to stay with her and heat her body as much as possible, her position isn't fatal but the attack pierced her skin and created wounds, which if not heated well, will escalate and infect her system." I nod and take a look at Lucy. My Lucy.

I tucked her in the comforter of the bed and climbed in with her, I heat up my body and wrap my arms around her and try to conciliate sleep.

Alvarez

The Spriggan 12 sat in their meeting room once again, ready to discuss the topic of great interest within their court. In the midst of it all Brandish questioned the matter for the so called 'emergency meeting'.

Finally, Zeref spoke. "Natsu got rid of Roman, his magical energy was rendered and was taken care of. But good news are unfortunately not the reason why we're here."

He paused and sighed. The members of his council were intently listening and watching their leader's words.

"Acnoligia won't give in. He won't let his stolen empire fall and give it to anyone. And if we want him to do so, they should start training for their mission. He's got powerful forces, and this will certainly be their worst enemy yet."

Silence was the only answer he was given along with some murmurs and quiet thoughts.

"So training them for what? They are possibly the most powerful dragons in history."

Zeref had expected the answer, they were in fact very powerful.

"I'm not concerned about the council, I'm concerned about the trials their companions will face. Remember they are a major part in the prophecy, they most fight along them. Not that I degrade them; their skills are good. But in other to fight with a dragon and potentially rule a country full of ones, you must learn how to slay one."

"So you propose dragon slaying magic for the dragons' mates?" Brandish inquired unamused like always.

Zeref smiled and finished.

"Exactly, and I also think it's time to pay Magnolia and Natsu a visit."

Guild Hall

The guild wasn't rowdy nor happy easy going like it always was. It was silent and dull. No one wanted to admit it but they were worried, scared.

They had seen one of their dearest teammates and friends hurt and uncouncious. They wanted to desperately see the blonde wizard, so after Wendy came out she was bombarded with questions.

"How is Lu-Chan doing?"

"What happened to Lucy?"

"Is Lushie hurt?!"

"Everyone, don't worry! She-she's ok!"

A sigh was shared between everyone and the atmosphere was back to normal, just a little.

But there were still some questions that needed answers.

"So, are you going to tell us what happened or...?" Gray interrupted. The ice wizard wasn't only worried for his blonde friend but he was also speculating something was off for every dragon slayer.

He had seen their suspicious behavior, Natsu's mysterious transformation and when Wendy, Gajeel and Laxus shared a glance when he asked his question, he had no doubt that they were up to something.

"I saw that." They looked back at him unamused almost annoyed.

"Saw what?" Wendy said and smiled innocently with acted confusion. They wouldn't reveal their most well kept secret in front of everyone.

Gray sighed and step forward. "I don't know what it is but you're hiding something, and I won't stop until I know what it is."

Wendy just shrugged him off and walked towards Carla who was being bothered by Happy like always.

The dragon slayer's secret was almost imploding by every second that passed. The suspicion is rising and the intrigue of knowing what their feared secret was, was becoming imploring. Will the dragons be able to keep it hidden? And most importantly, are they prepared of what's to come?
