Kagome turned to them, still waiting for their response.
"Kagome, answer me this, where did you come from?"
"I came from Tokyo, most likely there is no place like that, was there?"
Shaking their heads at her, Kagome sighed.
'I see, I was sent into another world once more'
Tears were starting to form in the corner of her eyes, feeling hopeless as she closed them.
'Will I ever be able to go back to everyone?'
Sympathizing with her, they observed her, seeing her suffering knowing she was torn from her village. Shizune came forward, putting her right hand on her shoulder to divert her.
"Kagome, for your question earlier, we are a ninja, we do not possess this so-called aura, instead we have this energy called chakra. Every person in this village possessed this energy which helped them create their own technique, using it to connect in their inner spiritual and physical energies.
"I guess, they are still the same, as they tap on spiritual energies. Thank you, Miss Shizune"
Smiling at her, before standing up and staying behind her Lady Tsunade.
"Why are you here, Kagome?"
Tsunade looked at her intensely, deducing if she would tell the truth or lie, still waiting for her response.
"I... I actually don't know Lady Tsunade, you see a moment ago I was resting at home, when my brother found a scroll, it had graffiti while the middle was left blank. Deciding to open it, the last thing I remember I've heard was a voice.
"I see"
Looking inside her haori, she pulls out a scroll and presents it to Kagome.
"Is this the scroll that you came upon yourself?"
"Oh, yes that's the scroll!"
"Kagome, this is a summoning scroll, used to summon their familiar or people to transport from one place to another. In your case, you held a summoning scroll, however, I cannot tell who would summon you and what is their purpose in bringing you here. For the meantime, you will be staying inside the village as I will give you a place to stay, but, you will still be guarded by my elite ninjas. This is for the sake of my village and people."
"It's okay Lady Tsunade, I'm very thankful that you did not throw me into a dungeon or prisoner despite me being a stranger in your village. However, I would like to have request a condition"
"What is it?"
"Umm.. could you give me a job, I want to earn my money knowing I will be staying here for a long period of time"
"Granted, I will let you choose which job you would like to pursue, Shizune here will assist you in that"
"Thank you, Lady Tsunade"
Bowing her head towards her, as Tsunade turned around and headed towards the door, going back to her office.
"Shizune, what do you think?"
"Lady Tsunade, I think she's genuine about her statement, also, I think she will be a good addition to this village"
Arriving at her office, she sent Shizune away as she pondered on what she said earlier.
'Good addition, hm'
"I wonder what would your reaction be if you ever saw him in that state?"
Another sigh was released, as Sesshoumaru pinch the bridge of his nose, still not forgetting the call he received from the kit.
'We have found you, only to lose you once more'
Turning to his desk, he saw the scroll he got from earlier when the kit delivered it to him, after, explaining the situation to Kagome's family.
Studying the scroll, he cannot figure out what was written there, only he understood that it consisted of summoning technique, and it was used only once. Flaring his energy to summon his retainer, immediately he heard footsteps outside his office.
"Jaken!"
A short man wearing a butler suit was seen entering the office, wearing a bracelet that concealed his true form, he bowed in front of his superior.
"Find a sorcerer that's knowledgeable with summoning"
"Yes, Milord!"
Without further ado, he went outside to proceed with his task. Sesshoumaru turned towards his window, observing outside.
'I promise you Kagome, we will be reunited once more'
