Hello to all, this is Episode 7 of the first Arc of Volume 5: Colorful Huntresses and Uncolored Enemies!
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!
(OPENING 1: This Will Be The Day from RWBY)
Volume 5: Episode 7: My Irreplaceable Bonds! The Dragon Knight's Arrival!
In the previous episode of DKR:
Ruby, controlled by the Dark Lord, attacked Ryan being a Dragon Knight by Akumu's mistake wanting Yugi. Regardless he allowed this to continue as he summoned his dark dragon minions and trap the rest of Team Dragon Knight in a powerful gravitation placement, except Mew Ichigo who tried to fight Ruby while the rest of Team RWBY fight the dark dragons. The fight between two newly made friends was overwhelmed with Ruby having the power to match the base level Mew Mew in combat but Mew Ichigo still prevail though with heavy damage on her end.
However this was not the end as Torchwick and his White Fang forces suddenly appeared in a surprise attack, placing formerly paralyzed Team Dragon Knight as hostage and Team RWBY along with the weakened Mew Ichigo and Ryan to face Torchwick, Neo and his top minions. The girls struggled badly unable to fight at full power due to the others hostage and Mew Ichigo was being beaten badly already injured. Akumu watched this, going to step in if they attempt to harm his niece though he will allow them to kill the rest.
Meanwhile Yugi struggled to either continue his search for Kojan or trust Shadow Knight's words. Not even Jenny helped convinced him otherwise… until Jonouchi stepped up finally going to do his part as Yugi's friend.
Will things end will and will the others survive Torchwick's cruel trap?
What will happen next?
And now the conclusion... last left off in the previous episode:
Yugi stares shock to see Jonouchi here of all times. He assumed he was following the others or with Honda… though now thinking about, he feels like an idiot not realizing that Jonouchi would follow him after not helping the others.
Jenny however had a feeling she and her brother were being followed, more so from him by his scent. What she's curious about is what he will do.
Jonouchi, eyeing down at his friend, had been hesitate how to even approach his friend into this subject but enough is enough; he has to do something and now.
Breathing deeply, the darken blond headed speaks up. ''Yugi, I don't know anything about that Kojan and the type of connection you have with him…''
Jonouchi actually hesitate, wondering for a while the type of bond his best bud has with that guy but he can't be jealous of this; he was no different when he bullied Yugi. If there's one thing he regretted for his whole life is treat the guy who would one day protect him from a worst bully like worse than garbage. Even then… even then, Jonouchi declares passionate about his words. ''BUT if you think of him as someone that precious, then I too am your precious friend! And you always trust me no matter what!''
Yugi slowly widens his eyes, just realizing that. He slowly smiles, blushing with an almost crying look in his eyes.
''I know that.'' The tricolor head admits it still smiling, thinking back of all the moments he's spent with his friends especially the one in front of him. He tries not to be let out tears expressing warmly. ''I would never be the person I am without the people around me, especially you too Jonouchi. You're like my brother''
Jonouchi, left speechless, just holds back his tears though he rubs his eyes with his arm sleeve.
''I-I know man!'' He speaks up loudly sounding crack by his voice. Yugi smiles warmly nodding. Jenny sweat drops heavily able to tell this is a little much but it was still sweat though.
Jonouchi soon chuckles a bit, reminding his buddy of well the awkward times. ''We've started off badly before we became friends and ever since I do all my part so I don't let you down like how you never let down on me or any of our friends.''
''… You're right.'' Yugi responds that Jonouchi isn't wrong. He then adds, thinking back when he first met him. ''Kojan-kun was the first person to see me as a friend like how I saw you as mines.''
Jonouchi can understand that well, after all Honda and Yugi- Anzu too; the four of them went so much that they wouldn't become concern for the other if one of them went missing… though he wished Honda was missing and not trying to IMPRESS HIS SISTER. Regardless he responds to Yugi's words. ''I know you want to find him and figure out what the hell happened but you can't forget what you taught me long ago.''
Yugi blinks with Jonouchi now reminding him a wink and cool guy pose. ''The ties that bind us that can't be seen but can be shown.''
''…'' The tricolor head widens his eyes silent. How could be not see it sooner? He slowly calms down and just smiles sadden, somehow forgetting. Through all of his concerns with Kojan, he didn't thought how everyone else is feeling. He even ignored Ichigo when she was pleading with her but she knew how he felt and didn't continue. He really is an idiot, a Baka.
Smiling a bit, Yugi admits Jonouchi is right: He's desperately trying to ignite the bonds with Kojan more so than the bonds with everyone else trying to help someone else reuniting her friends. He now sees Shadow Knight's point; he has friends too also depending on him. Maybe not always but he can't forget them in favor for another bond. He has bonds, those irreplaceable. He can't afford to lose either, ever.
''You're right, Jonouchi-kun.'' Yugi responds kindly, really not seeing what was in front of him and unable to see it at the same time. ''If I really am Kojan-kun's friend, then chasing after him will not show that bond.''
Recalling what Shadow Knight told him, Yugi starts getting it.
''If I want to trust in him, if I want to understand him…'' He starts proclaiming squeezing his hand slightly ultimately coming to terms. ''I need to figure it out on my own so I can comprehend and help him somehow.''
He nods realizing his mistake. The tricolor head looks at his dear friend in front of him and thanks him from the bottom of his heart. ''Thank you, Jonouchi-kun.''
Jonouchi slowly grins nodding. Yugi turns to Jenny, knowing she's been trying to reach out and thanks her too. ''And you too Nee-san.''
Jenny blushes a bit narrowing her eyes away from him out of embarrassment.
Breathing deeply, Yugi declares with a small smirk. ''Come on. Let's go help Ichigo-kun with Ruby-kun.''
Jonouchi drops his jaw realizing Yugi did pay attention. Yugi pulls out his phone to call Ichigo; pretty sure she will scold him.
Jenny hums walking up behind the darkened color blond headed and tells him standing beside him. ''For a former bully to my younger brother, I'm grateful you became almost like a brother to him woof.''
Jonouchi startles gulping while rubbing the back of his head. Jenny smirks a bit, able to finally acknowledge him.
''Thank you, Katsuya-kun.'' She thanks him with a wink. Jonouchi is left taken back by her words and smiles thanking her. ''S-sure, Jenny-.''
Immediately Jenny gives him a firm glare, correcting him strict. ''Jennifer-san, to you.''
''R-right.'' Jonouchi mutters a bit shaken by her face. Jenny smirks. Just then the two startle by Yugi rushing over to them.
He wasn't able to get a reply from Ichigo so he sense her aura and pick up her and everyone else in dangerous.
''Let's go! Ichigo-kun and the others are in trouble!'' Yugi tells the two as they have to get going. Jonouchi and Jenny both blink questioning him. ''What do you mean?''
Too worry to explain Yugi withdraws his Dragon Sword from its scabbard. He then shouts as his eyes glow red. ''BURST LIMIT!''
His sword erupts in black-purple energy taking the two for surprise. Yugi soon emerges swinging the energy away with his transformed Dragon Blade mode.
''That bad woof?!'' Jenny utters out knowing her brother would not be careless to do transform. Yugi didn't explain grabbing both with his arms by their arms and tightly.
''W-woah wait, don't just-'' Jonouchi begins telling Yugi to not launch them but he never got the chance to finish as Yugi takes flight at top speed into the sky. Jenny and Jonouchi scream in absolutely terror, as they yell being flied off at top speed. ''TAKE US WITH YOU LIKE THIS!''
Yugi flies as fast as where he can sense everyone. Jonouchi yells noticing something and yells at him. ''DROP US HERE!''
The tricolor blinks and nods quickly swooping down and drop the two as he flies up ahead. Jenny's eyes spin rapidly, trying to utter out. ''W-why would you-''
She then hears yelling from a guy. Jenny turns and panics as Jonouchi rides off on an electric motorbike, wearing a helmet, as he shouts to the owner. ''BORROWING THIS THANKS!''
The owner still shouts calling him thief. Jenny sweat drops heavily, muttering out embarrassed. ''Of course woof.''
Everyone else watches helpless with Ryan struggling on the ground, Mew Ichigo squeezed by the robot's hands and Ruby breathing heavily.
Torchwick smirks having won as he lifts up his cane from its gun barrel towards the annoying Red Riding Hood. Yang sees this and snaps threatening him with her eyes glowing red. ''Don't you dare shoot Ruby-''
''Or what? You ladies are finished.'' He interrupts pretty cocky that he has won. Ed growls at that statement with Judai stating pretty serious. ''Guys like you won't get away with this.''
Torchwick turns at the brown-orange stranger and just smirks replying. ''Oh yea, already have.''
''Not yet Nya!'' He blinks turning to see Mew Ichigo, still being squeezed, shouts refusing to give up on Ruby as she orders. ''Ryan-kun!''
Ryan gets the message and gets up fast. Neo comes at him but he responds faster swinging his sword at the robot, shouting. ''DRAGON SLICE ATTACK!''
He fires the sword's energy slash, hitting the Atlesian Paladin which release the cat girl who charges at Torchwick as she shouts. "GET AWAY FROM MY FRIEND NYA!''
He did manage to dodge her but not the cat scratch across his face. Mew Ichigo then gasps dropping on her knees still wounded and worst by the squeezing. Torchwick checks his scratch cheek and sees his blood. He squeezes his hand angrily, yelling. ''Damn cat! Now you're done!''
He takes aim with his cane's barrel gun and fires. Mew Ichigo barely had time to turn as the shot comes towards her head.
''ICHIGO!'' Ruby shouts with Kurosaki yelling. ''Momomiya!''
''COUSIN ICHIGO-CHAN!'' Usagi screams helpless to save her cousin. Everyone was as were Team RWBY.
Before the shot consume the cat girl, a burst of energy wraps around Mew Ichigo and protects her. Torchwick startles and slowly widen his eyes as the energy slowly becomes almost like a dragon before dissolving and revealing the cat girl behind Yugi now in front while wielding his Dragon Blade. A white feather flies off his back that Mew Ichigo could see, blushing.
Everyone of Team Dragon Knight either smirk or smile of relieve with the rest of Team RWBY confused. Mew Ichigo stares speechless at first before letting out a smile purring. "Yugi-kun!''
Akumu glares in the shadows though he'll make an exception since this brat saving her will keep himself hidden.
''Sorry I'm late, Strawberry Kitten.'' Yugi answers her turning for a moment with a smile before facing forward with a firm face, holding his blade forward.
With Yugi now here… just watch after the break ;)
Commercial Break:
Jonouchi: TIME TO KICK SOME BUTTS… Who are we facing again Yugi?
Yugi: Not sure but this shouldn't take long.
Ruby blinks really confuse staring at the strange guy with the cool coat and AWESOME MASSIVE SWORD SHE WANTS TO TOUCH AND EXAMINE SO BADLY… but then just taken back by his strange hairstyle. Pretty sure this is the person Ichigo was talking about before.
"T-that's Yugi?'' The dark red headed questions really puzzled. Weiss is more confused and yet disturb by his hairstyle, uttering it out. ''Ridicule hair for a boy.''
Yang nods not paying much attention until she widens her eyes and utters out shock. ''Wait that's a boy?''
Weiss sweat drops, pretty sure he is. Blake sweat drops at both though she felt something unnaturally powerful from him.
''Though…'' She mutters wanting to see how he fights.
Mew Ichigo stares at the back of the tricolor head, slowly smiling warmly. He's always there if she needs him the most, protecting her front.
Torchwick just made a stun expression at this child showing out of nowhere.
''Okay… where did he come from?!'' He begins demanding his men and Neo where he came from. They all weren't sure but Yugi answers with a small grin, pointing his left index finger up. ''The sky!''
Torchwick snaps by his joke, responding upset. ''Oh you're funny aren't you kid. Well it's a shame I'm not amused.''
He points at his goons still having the others to kill at any moment and orders them to end them. ''Get rid of them first!''
The others panic but Yugi just smirks and he asks him. ''You sure about that?''
Torchwick blinks not following until everyone hears a voice yelling. ''BEEP! BEEP!''
Leaping over a fence, it's Jonouchi riding on the motorbike he's ''borrow''. The White Fang members having the rest of Team Dragon Knight turned and panic not having time to react.
Jonouchi actually wheelie the bike's front wheels across all the White Fang members having the other's hostage while slamming each with the front of the bike, crashing himself on top of all. Jonouchi did leap off before the crash, tossing off the helmet as he proclaims posing like the badass he is. ''Did someone call for the hero's badass partner! That would be!''
Kurosaki and Ed both give an annoying gaze while Alicia sweat drops heavily with Usagi gasping amazed.
''Good timing!'' Ryan comments weakly on one knee. Jonouchi eyes him and just scoffs answering. ''I'll take that as a compliment.
Torchwick groans upset at this and protests at the tricolor head. ''T-that doesn't change nothing.''
Twirling his long great blade, Yugi just smirks as his eyes glow red and responds. ''You sure?''
In an instant, Yugi vanishes and performs with unseen speed, slashes across each White Fang member before he or she knew what hit them. Yugi slashes down every White Fang with non-lethal sword strikes, sending them flying into the ground, walls, trees or light poles.
Torchwick just realize it within about a minute, uttering out in shock. ''W-what the…''
Yugi reappears back on the spot he was on. Torchwick growls and orders his most trusted ally. ''Neo, deal with him!''
Neo winks and walks up to Yugi. The tricolor head watches her point from the end of her umbrella which has a hole through it. Yugi blinks watching as her blade pops out from the end of her umbrella and she dashes at him for a thrusting strike… to only hit the air as Neo suddenly drops hit by the back of her neck by Yugi's arm, moving so fast and smacks her back instantly. Yugi sweat drops hoping that didn't hurt.
Roman stares with such horror, now ordering his Atlesian Paladin user furious. ''YOU DEAL WITH HIM NOW!''
The mecha comes at the tricolor head turning calmly. With an unseen speed and swing, Yugi moves behind the robot with his sword downward. Torchwick blinks noticing the paladin is still alright and smirks taunting him. ''You missed-''
Lifting his left index finger with a firm look, Yugi wags it before snapping his fingers. Suddenly sparks fly out from the mecha robot before it's torn apart like Logo pieces, shattered to leave the White Fang member untouched and dropping on the ground unconscious.
Torchwick drops his jaw, really not expecting that. He lifts his cane and instantly fires his flares at him. ''Dodge these!''
Moving his left arm, Yugi catches the flares instead without much afford before they could hit him.
''I caught them.'' He proclaims showing them before squeezing his hand and destroying the flares. Roman sweats heavily, chuckling nervously.
Yugi tosses the flares away as he approaches, proclaiming as his eyes glow menacing and terrifying like a dragon. ''So you guys done?''
Just how he said it with that look made the rest of Roman's forces terrified. Torchwick sweats, breathing heavily before uttering out in a scream. ''R-RETREAT!''
Immediately he runs and grabs Neo by the arm, carrying her by the back as he fires multiple flares to distract the enemy. Yugi ignores them watching the other White Fang members crawling away.
He sighs letting them go as they're not threat to him. He twirls the Dragon Blade as it reverts back to the Dragon Sword in an instant. He sheathes it back in its scabbard while rushing over to Mew Ichigo.
Ruby watched that so speechless as did the other girls
''T-that was…'' Yang utters not even sure how to put it but her sister then expressing it. ''SO COOL!''
''Ichigo-kun!'' Yugi shouts reaching the cat girl having been watching him the whole time and just smiles.
''Are you okay? I'm sorry I was an idiot and-'' He begins to apologize for his mistake but the Mew Mew just embraces him with a hug. Yugi blinks a bit puzzled but blushes warmly happy to receive her hug. She giggles telling him blushing. ''I'm so happy to see you though Nya.''
The tricolor head just blushes in silent, hugging her back smiling. Mew Ichigo giggles then adding almost teasing him. ''That's my Yugi-kun Nya. And yes you were a Baka.''
Yugi chuckles eyeing her face and kisses her. Mew Ichigo purrs kissing him back, her tail wagging happily.
''… I'm okay too.'' Ryan utters out still in pain. The cat girl panics trying to move to his aid while apologizing. ''Sorry Ryan-kun, are you also okay?''
Ryan smiles nodding giving her a thumb up. ''Of course mate, surprisingly.''
Mew Ichigo sweat drops turning back to Yugi, giggling. The tricolor head sweat drops but relief as Usagi hugs him by the back and thanks him so happily. ''YUGI-CHAN, THANK YOU FOR THE SAVE AND PROTECTING MY COUSIN!''
Yugi nods, always going to protect them. Jonouchi walks up and states wanting some credit too. ''I ALSO SAVED THE DAY!''
Usagi immediately tackles Jonouchi and thanks him as well with tight squeeze hug. ''YOU TOO JONOUCHI-CHAN!''
Jonouchi lets out a few chuckles now regretting it. Mew Ichigo giggles healing her wounds, oddly feeling better. Weird but she's not complaining.
Yugi could tell her wounds are okay but his sister should treat her though. He then blinks and turns at Ruby and the other girls he's never seen before. He chuckles pretty sure he made a poorly first impression on her and he could tell she's a good person.
He walks up to the 4 and greets them kindly. ''Sorry about that. You must be Ruby-kun and your friends. Also my bad about-''
''YOU'RE SO COOL!'' Yugi widens his eyes by Ruby's up face shouting with a large smile on his face. He sweat drops as she rapidly zig-zags all over him especially his sheathed sword.
''YOU'RE YUGI RIGHT! The-'' Ruby asks loudly but then coughs, breathing and correcting her with a louder voice. ''NO! THE UNDEFEATABLE DRAGON KNIGHT!''
''… EH?!'' Yugi utters out in pure shock while Atem chuckles at that statement as did Yin-Yang Dragon. The others sweat drops not sure to correct her… since she's not nearly far from the truth. But the real shocker comes from Mew Ichigo, never mentioning Ruby anything about the Dragon Knight part.
"I-I didn't told her that Nya!'' She expresses now shocking the others greatly.
''Haha…'' Yugi laughs nervously and shyly while still watching Ruby studying his sword crazy-like. He sweat drops though smiles, both by how much she likes him but also maybe he can get a clue about the Dragon Knight.
Jenny smirks watching them afar, happy to see her brother acting like this great person he is.
Akumu scoffs at this and vanishes, having seen enough and has a business offer for that Torchwick anyway.
HOWEVER, unaware to all of them over the rooftop, Kojan watches the whole thing play out and knew that Dark Lord was behind the mind controlled Ruby. He was observing them, scoffing slightly.
''Still the same kind person, Yugi.'' He says mentally, his arms over the sides of the rooftop. He has seen plenty of his ability and strength, but more so by his pacifist nature in not killing those villains.
Glaring coldly, Kojan then tells himself as his Sharingan eyes materialize and glow with an almost disappointed, sadden voice near the end. ''We'll see how long you remain such with no skills or fangs… just stop being a Dragon Knight.''
What is Kojan aiming and what will Yugi learn behind his goals?

Ruby: TELL ME ABOUT YOUR SWORD, AND HOW IT COULD TRANSFORM LIKE THAT! AND DID YOU ACTUALLY FLY! AH GOD I WANT TO KNOW MORE PLEASE YUGI! PLEASE!
Yugi sweat drops heavily: T-thanks. I-I will?
Ichigo giggles: So what you think of them?
Yugi smiles chuckling: They're cool!
Ed: Somewhat.
Jonouchi: So when is my best bud's party going to start?
Yugi: I guess as soon as Nee-san comes back.
Ichigo: Hope she doesn't take long Nya. *eyes Jonouchi*
