I Am Way Too Easy To Bribe.
Disclaimer - (Cause fanfiction is tricky ground and I hope not to offend the creator of the original story and get sued)
I do not own "Percy Jackson", it belongs to its original creator Rick Riordan. Nor do I own "Twilight", that belongs to Stephine Meyer. This is only a fanfiction that I was inspired to write by the original work. Please support the official release. Most of the media - such as the art and illustrations, gifs, video's, etc. used in this fanfiction - are from the web. Thus, most of them aren't mine (because I really, really can't draw) unless mentioned. To fit the story, images are also edited by various apps and websites. So they aren't mine, just edited.
Also if you own a picture or Video that I found online, and you either want your name added, or me to take it down. Please contact me and we can talk it out.
P.s. I also ask that you do not copy my work and publish it onto any other website. If you're gonna use my idea, please ask me (If you ask nicely, I for sure, will agree). If I don't contact you within a week, then just assume I'm giving you the all clear and go for it. Just remember to credit me.
I will be writing out scenes even if my Oc isn't in them. As long as she's mentioned, or influencing the characters in some way. This may seem a bit annoying. But that's just how I write. I like to embed my characters into the story line. Because of this, most of the dialogue/scenes will come from the original work.

"I can't believe you." Selena mumbles, still pouting as they enter the airport.
"Come on Sel. Don't be like that. You get along great with all your siblings from your mother's side. So what's so wrong with Bella." Charlie smiles, giving his daughter a one sided hug. Trying to get on her good side. "How about I get you a new book for your collection. We can even make it greek?"
'Dam it dad.' Selena thinks. 'You know I can never say no to a good book. Especially if it's in greek.' She knew that she wanted to accept his bribe. But if she did, then she'd have to be nice to Bella.
Selena mentally weighed the pro's and con's of this deal as they waited for Bella to arrive. 'I'm going to have to deal with her anyway. May as well get something out of it." Just as they see Bella come through the exit, she sighs, 'I am way too easy to bribe.' With that thought, Selena caves.
"Fine. I'll behave." Selena whispers to her dad just as Bella walks toward them.
Selena just smiled awkwardly as Bella and Charlie hugged, also… awkwardly.
The entire drive back is, you guessed it, also spent in an awkward silence.
Selena can see that her dad is asking for help through his eyes but she only turns her head around and opens the greek book about ancient myths that Chiron had let her borrow from the camp library.
She only looked up when dad started telling Bella about her 'new' car.
"I found a good car for you, really cheap," he announces.
"What kind of car?" Bella asks. She was suspicious of the way he said "good car for you" as opposed to just "good car."
"Well, it's a truck actually, a Chevy."
"Where did you find it?"
"Do you remember Billy Black down at La Push?" La Push is the tiny Indian reservation on the coast.
"No." Bella answered.
"He used to go fishing with us during the summer," Charlie prompted.
Selena watched the exchange from the corner of her eye.
"He's in a wheelchair now," Charlie continued when Bella didn't respond, "so he can't drive anymore, and he offered to sell me his truck cheap."
Selena looked down at her book swiftly at the mention of the wheelchair. It hurt everytime the topic was brought up. No matter how much people told her otherwise, she knew that it was her fault that Billy had lost his legs. After all, if it wasn't for her, then monsters would never be attracted to such a small town.
"What year is it?" Bella could see from his change of expression that this was the question he was hoping she wouldn't ask.
"Well, Billy's done a lot of work on the engine — it's only a few years old, really."
"No." Selena spoke up for the first time since entering the car. "It was actually Jacob who worked on the car."
"Really?" Charlie asked surprised, raising an eyebrow.
"Who's Jacob?" Bella questioned.
"Billy's son." Selena answered, not looking up from her book.
With that answered, Bella returned to her original question. "When did he buy it? The truck I mean."
"He bought it in 1984, I think."
"Did he buy it new?"
"Well, no. I think it was new in the early sixties — or late fifties at the earliest," Charlie admitted sheepishly.
"Ch — Dad," Selena rolled her eyes at Bella's slip up. And that was one of the main reasons she couldn't stand her half-sister. "I don't really know anything about cars. I wouldn't be able to fix it if anything went wrong, and I couldn't afford a mechanic…"
"Really, Bella, the thing runs great. They don't build them like that anymore."
"How cheap is cheap?" Bella asked, thinking, 'After all, that was the part I can't compromise on.'
"Well, honey, I kind of already bought it for you. As a homecoming gift." Charlie peeked sideways at her with a hopeful expression.
'Wow. Free.' Bella thought.
"You didn't need to do that, Dad. I was going to buy myself a car." Bella told him.
Selena looked up from her book to glare at Bella's reflection in the windshield. Honestly, most teenagers would have to beg their parents to be allowed to get a car. And here she was complaining about getting a free car. 'At least she wasn't only complaining but was also willing to buy her own car. If nothing else, that is a good quality to have.'
"I don't mind. I want you to be happy here." He was looking ahead at the road when he said this. Charlie wasn't comfortable with expressing his emotions out loud.
That was something Bella had inherited from him. So she was also looking straight ahead when she responded.
"That's really nice, Dad. Thanks. I really appreciate it."
"Well, now, you're welcome," he mumbled, embarrassed by her thanks.

The rest of the one and a half hour of driving is spent in awkward silence for dad and Bella, and happy reading for me.
I jumped out of the car when I saw Billy and Jacob waiting for us in the driveway. "Hey Uncle Billy! Hey Jake!" I yell, running toward Billy and Jabob. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Bella's jaw fall to the ground. Probably because I'd mostly ignored her since she got here. So seeing me act like this, must have surprised her.
"Hey kiddo!" Billy greets back, with the same amount of enthusiasm. "I haven't seen you in forever."
"Yeah, Anyway. Sel, why don't you go up to your room. There's a surprise waiting for you on your bed." My dad interrupts the reunion.
"Sure." I smile. Understanding that it's sometimes better to let the grown ups talk things thru. I know they don't want me to know. But I do know.
Apparently dad and uncle Billy had got into an argument about where I would live. Billy wanted me to stay with them on the reserve where I could be protected by the pack. But dad didn't want me to leave. So they ended up getting into a huge fight about that. I really did appreciate Billy's offer and his concerns. But I just loved my dad too much to leave him.
Yeah, dad knows about the shapeshifters. But he still doesn't know about the Cullens being vampires. I kinda like that he doesn't know about the vampires because the Cullens aren't that bad. And if he knew, then he probably wouldn't let me spend as much time or have as many sleepovers with them as I usually do.
I smile as I see my bribe on my bed. I guess dad knew I would accept his bribe. My smile widens even farther once I see the title.
"Apollo: God of the Sun, Healing, Music, and Poetry" By Teri Temple.
Most twelve year olds wouldn't like this as a present.
But I am anything but a normal twelve year old.
This is short, but I promise the chapters will definitely get longer once we hit the PJO series. Which will be at the end of the Twilight book, after that I'll be blending the events between the two books. So about 15-20 chapters is all I wanna give it, because I really wanna start writing the Lighting Theif,.
I also made a little mistake when writing Zeus' character in chapter 2. I only called him a tyrant, which I thought was a character flaw that shouldn't be too hard to cover up. Till I really learned more about him and found out that he was a goddamn frickin r*pest (and has done so on multiple occasions). So I said screw that, and am now gonna bash his character to tartarus and back.
On a side note - I just watched the Blood of Zeus, and really feel bad for Hera. It really wasn't her fault she ended up like that, like can you imagine being married to Zeus!
P.s. I know a lot of you are gonna say that a lot of gods had that problem, such as Poseidon (aka, Medusa), well gods like him were pretty good dads (In the books). Well Zeus was literally trying to force his daughter into becoming the child in the prophecy.
So I am willing to give them another chance. But Zeus has used up all of his in how he treated the demigods. So I'm kicking him to the curb.
Next chapter
"Wait. Why do we have to go to the same school? Isn't she in the 6th grade or something?" Bella asked.
"9th actually." Selena corrected. "I skipped two grades."
