(First things first I am terribly sorry for not uploading this sooner just school got in the way and I didn't find any time to write so I am dearly sorry now enjoy the chapter :)

Chapter 8: Aftermath

(Varant wakes up in the hospital finding out he cant see and is freaking out)

Varant: W-WHAT HAPPENED WHY CAN'T I SEE?!

Kakashi: Varant just try to calm down (holding Varant down) calm down please everything is going to be ok.

Varant: (starts to cry) Kakashi is that you please tell me is that you (Begins to cry.)

Kakashi: (tearing up) Yes, It is me I am here there is nothing to worry about.

Varant: Sakura, Naruto, Sasuke, (starts repeating those names over and over) Please help me.

Kakashi: (Begins to cry) They are safe Varant just focus on me.

Varant: Kakashi why are my eyes gone please tell me am I going to be blind for the rest of my life?

Kakashi: I-I don't know we will just have to see you should not get up because you used way too much chakra fighting Zabuza and if you try to do anything it might kill you.

Varant: (scared) I do not want to die Kakashi (begins to hug him) I do not want to die please don't let me die (crys.)

Kakashi: (crying) You are not going to die you are safe now like I said so stop worrying its going to be ok (hugs him tightly)

Varant: It seems like everything I do just ends with another failure.

Kakashi: NO DON'T SAY THAT YOU SAVED ALL OF US!

Varant: (scared) don't hit me please (starts to curl up into a ball)

Kakashi: (calms down) I am not going to hit you son.

Varant: Son?

Kakashi: From this day forward, I am your new father.

Varant: REALLY?!

Kakashi: Yes, that is true 😊

Varant: (hugs him) thank you so much.

Kakashi: (hugs him back tightly) Your welcome my son.

Varant: How long will I be out of fighting?

Kakashi: Well you don't have any eyes if you get up and try to do anything you will fall over dead because of how much chakara you used and really for a couple of weeks.

Varant: (sad) oh.

Kakashi: But you don't have to worry about your eyesight because I have a surprise.

Varant: A-A surprise what is that?

Kakashi: A surprise is where you give a special thing to another person who doesn't expect it.

Varant: Oh ok so what is it then?

Kakashi: Hang on a second (goes to the other room and gets two sharingan eyes and puts it into Varant)

Varant: (seeing now) Whoa what are these?

Kakashi: Those are called sharingan eyes they belonged to the Uchiha clan which means they can only be awakened by a Uchiha.

Varant: Then how can I use them if I am not a Uchiha?

Kakashi: (chuckles) There is so much to learn my son now rest I am going to bring the rest in.

Varant: Ok 😊

Kakashi: (in mind) such a happy kid with a beaten path I feel bad for him he never deserved what happened to him.

(Kakashi brings the others in)

Kakashi: Well he is in fact alive.

Varant: (looks at them and smiles) Hey guys.

All three: (rushes to him and hugs him tightly)

Sakura: I am so happy that you are alive.

Naruto: Yeah man they thought you were dead but I didn't I wasn't going to give up on you.

Sasuke: Yeah I thought you were dead man and (looks at his eyes) Where did you get those?!

Varant: Oh these, Kakashi gave them to me.

Sasuke: Is that so well I will have to teach you how to use them anyway so theres that but I am glad to see that you are alive,(hugs him)

Varant: (visibly happy) Thank you guys, you all are the best.

Naruto: Hey do you want to get some ramen?

Varant: Sure I don't see why not but I have to be in a wheelchair because Kakashi said if I use to much chakra or even do something action orientated ill die.

Naruto: Oh that sucks well come on then!

Varant: OK!
