A/N: So this is for all my fics... currently updates will be a lot more sporadic because of... personal matters so yeah but besides that hope you enjoy
"Was that a school bell just now?" I ask aloud
"Hajime. Look at that monitor over there." Nagito said while pointing to a lit-up monitor that was attached to a tiny metal pole but what was on the screen was much more important it was Usami sitting in a red chair
"Congratulations everyone! It seems that everyone has finished introductions. I'm…" she then let out a soft sniff as if she was pulling tears back up then continued
"I'm so happy…. Soooo I've prepared a present for everyone that'll make you all veeeeeery happy! I apologize for the trouble, but please gather at the beach! Tee hee hee! May shining hope be with you all!"
"She said to meet at the beach" Nagito stated
"Yeah, I am hoping that she got a way to fix me so let's go!" I said with a hurried tone then I started to run to the beach while running I tumbled her and there definitely still not used this body but that doesn't matter as I was going to get back my body soon
'Mikan you'll get your body back real quick' I thought
while I was running I could hear a thunderous noise beating against the wooden broads of the bridge I turn my head behind me giving a quick look at what was making that noise and it was... Byakuya?… and he was also running it was a terrifying sight it was like an elephant running towards you at full speed it made me run even faster scared that Byakuya was gonna run me over
"N-Nagito I would recommend you run faster!" I yell turning to my left where Nagito was running but he was nowhere in sight looking back behind me again I could see Byakuya still running but I also noticed Nagito hunched over fatigue obviously overtook him but soon it would be worse for him as the living disaster came closer
"Nagitoooo!" I stop and yell expecting him to get crushed by Byakuya but instead, Byakuya simply grabbed him by his coat then flipped him on his shoulder, and continued to run… towards me! I start running once again I could see the Island approaching and with it the beach
"THUMP THUMP"
Byakuya was quickly approaching but so was the first island I was just a few steps aw-
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I scream as I had tripped a tiny bit of my shoe fell in between two wooden boards I continued to tumble I could feel my shoe leaving my foot as I fell on my back but before I could 100% understand the situation I found my self I suddenly felt something grab my arm I open my eyes to see Byakuya grabbing my thin arm then my world started to spin then I felt soft
"And I thought you skinny types were supposed to be able to run well"
Byakuya's voice came forth as the dizziness disappeared
"Urgh wha-?" I spew out confused
"You- ack, ack-" Nagito's voice came forth to my right but it stopped as soon as it came as he started to cough but as soon as it ended he continued
"-Tripped and Byakuya threw you on his shoulder"
"Wha-?" I then gave a quick look around and indeed I found myself on what I could only assume was Byakuya's left shoulder
"We are here," Byakuya stated as I felt my backside hit against the sandy beach and I looked around seeing only Byakuya and Nagito nearby
"I guess we were the first ones here" Nagito stated as he got up
"Indeed so I guess you two were not the exception," Byakuya said pushing his glasses as he did
"Now we need to simply wait for the others then I would like to talk to everyone," Byakuya said
After a couple of minutes, everyone soon arrived
"I would take this chance to talk between ourselves before that rabbit arrives"
"Kyahaha okay let's talk!" Hiyoko said with a giggle
"Now then, let me hear your initial impressions of this island," Byakuya said with a much more haughty tone than when he was with me
"I happened to notice numerous blocked-off bridges on the central island... " Peko informed
"Oh, those are there so everybody doesn't get lost!" Ibuki's voice came from behind Peko
"Wh-wha-who?- WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!?" Kazuichi yelled while pointing a finger at the absolutely soaked Ibuk her hair horns things let down and her make up absolutely ruined she was completely soaked
"Hehe well I tried to climb over one of the gates but I fell off, thankfully Usami appeared and helped me back onto the center island but she told Ibuki off, " she said rubbing her soaked hair
"Geez and I thought Hajime was stupid," Hiyoko said with a light giggle
"Hey! What is that supposed to mean!?" Ibuki yelled looking straight at Hiyoko
"Ugh, I guess ever-" before Hiyoko could continue a voice came forth
"You two stop. now. we need to talk about the most serious truth" Byakuya's harsh voice cut through the two
"The most serious truth?" Chiaki echoed
"Yes if none of you fools noticed it you are all bigger fools than I thought."
"What did you say, you fat bastard? Don't be all talkin' all big and shit!" Fuyhiko yelled
"Small dogs shouldn't bark so loud," Byakuya said with a small smirk on his large face but I tuned out what those two started saying
'The most serious truth? What does that mean is he meaning something about me or…'
"Byakuya what do you mean most serious truth?" I ask
"Have you all gone to the park at the center island?" he asked everyone
"Yeah the one with the bronze statue"
"When I saw it, I remembered an old story I heard before, There's a beautiful Island in the Pacific Ocean, a beautiful island paradise where summer never ends it consists of a central island surrounded by five different islands it's also said that five holy animals symbolize each of those surrounding islands"
"Eh?" I let out unvolnitarly
"That island name is Jabberwock Island" Byakuya finished
"Could this island be…?" Nagito said quietly
"J-Jabberwock Island is that the name of this island?" I ask
"Still, there is something on my mind. In fact, according to what I heard, Jabberwock Island is already…... Never mind" Byakuya said shaking his head making all that fat on him shake with him
"Hold it right there! That's a rather incomplete story you've told us!" Nekomaru yelled at Byakuya
"No need to shout I'll let you know once I obtain more information"
"Meh, I don't care what this island is called. Nikoniko island or Papua Island or whatever. Doesn't change the fact that we all gotta live here, right?" Akane interjected
"Living together on this tropical island sure is exiiiiiiting! I'm super looking forward to it!" Ibuki yelled splashing water everywhere as she moved rapidly
"Right on! This ain't a bad school at all!" Kazuichi said with a thumbs up
"Hmm, I like this island too!... Can't say that about a certain liar" Hiyoko said staring at me
Huh? Did I hear something?" Teruteru asked looking around
"I'm still worried, but I don't feel as worried as I did earlier… Yeah, since there's no danger or inconvenience, I feel like this won't be a problem!" Mahiru said with a soft smile
I nodded the miscut purple hair on my head bobbing with me 'Usami should be fixing this soon so I have nothing to worry about I thought
"Hello everyone I see you have all gathered that is great I can hand out those presents!"
She then reached to the side of her pink skirt then pulled out 15… what looked like mini-Usamis
"Ta-Da! Now don't worry I have one for you all!"
I could feel rage grow
"What is this?" I say trying to stay calm
"Pfft, Teehee! It's a Usami Strap! If you squeeze the tummy it talks." then to show what she meant he pushed down on with her little stub arm-hand-thing
"I'm Usami… Magical Girl Usami. I an itty bitty girl who's sweet like milk!" the little doll spoke
"Isn't cu-" before she could continue I yelled at her
"Is this what you been doing? What about my body!?"
"Da-uh-um I am still working on that alright? I promise that it will be done just be a bit patient"
I took a breath trying to calm down it wouldn't be a good idea to anger the only thing that could fix me so I took some deep breaths
"Okay… hand it over…" I say with my thin hand outstretched
"love, love!" she said with what I could describe as a smile but also as I stared into her face I noticed something she wasn't looking at one place for a long time her little beady eyes were constantly looking around as if she was trying to find something or someone? But I couldn't pay attention to that much longer as she started to pass around the Usami straps to every one I look in my hand to find one there I let out a sigh it's best to appease it guess I then not make it angry I clip it onto the apron I was now wearing but it seems that others did not share my sentiment which made sense they had no stake in not appeasing it as almost everyone threw their's on the ground
"Hey!, you can't taint nature with trash!" she yelled at us
"See you even think that they're trash!" Ibuki yelled at her and I started to grit my teeth at the damn rabbit but I kept calm Usami started picking up the Usami straps on the beach floor with a sad look on her face
"Ugh… And I even prepared one more present, too, but I now I don't wanna give it to you bad kids..." she said with a whiny voice 'huh?' I peak up hearing say this
"Hm? You have something else?" Peko asked
"Well, compared to the Usami Strap, it's not that big of a deal… Basically, I've prepared a motive for everyone."
"A motive…?" I ask aloud
"That's right. A motive for everyone to get along. We've come all this way to a tropical island, so I thought it'd be great to do something island-themed." she said with her high pitched voice
"Like what? Are you thinkin' of throwing a big party or somethin'?" Akane asked
"Cooorrect"
"Is it a festival? Or maybe a miniature shrine? How wonderful!" Sonia said with a large smile
"If we're talking about fun parties on a tropical island, maybe it should be a barbeque or something?" Ibuki said once again throwing water everywhere
"Ah, a campfire sounds fun, too," Marihu said briefly ducking trying to avoid the water Ibuki was flinging
"Let's find a hoop snake and kill it!" Hiyoko yelled excited
"Is looking for one not enough for!?" Kazuichi yelled at the young-looking girl
"It seems everyone has different ideas, but if we're gonna be at the ocean, then first…" stopped and put her arm stubs behind her back then stopped for a few seconds before showing what she was hiding
"Tadaaaa! This is what it's all about!" she yelled the item that she revealed was 2 items and they were two swimming bags and almost to confirm that Nagito spoke
"Swiming bags?"
"Coooorrect! Love! Love!" she said once again with a large smile but her tiny beady eyes once again were showing something entirely different as they constantly looked at every possible nook & cranny as if expecting something to pop out 'it's fear' the answer suddenly appeared in my head I don't know how I knew but I could tell she was afraid of something but what…? What could she be afraid of? Or actually how is afraid those questions kept coming to me but then I noticed something every once and a while she would just stare at me she didn't do this for long-only a few brief seconds and she didn't do this to the other students I noticed it was odd she would look at me, well not really knowing my conditions but still strange why what is going on in her fluffy brain...
"... To Hajime, Earth to Hajime, Ear-" suddenly Nagito voice came forth
"Wha?" I blurt out
"Sorry if I interrupted something but I was seeing if you were going to join us I don't think you would but still good to ask," Nagito asked
"What?"
"Are you going to change and join us in the ocean or you gonna stay on the beach"
"I think I am gonna stay on the beach I don't want to change in this body," I say with a slight blush
"Yeah thought so well see ya Hajime," he said before turning around then ran towards somewhere I assume to change I look around before just deciding to sit on the sandy beach, and while I sat there
I start to try to put together what Usami is doing but it was hard to be that analytical hell I don't even know how I was able to notice a lot of those details as Usami's beady little eyes don't show much movement so it is really difficult to notice them moving 'how did I notice her looking around before?.. Maybe it was just my imagination"
"I am sorry Hajime that you can't join them but there will be more events like this so when you get your body back you'll be able to hang out with them just be hopeful, okay?" Usami said with a quiet voice near me I look towards her she was standing to my right
"It's alright Usami I do kinda feel sorry for Mikan though" as I said that Usami did a quick jump
"S-So you know your body's name h-how did you learn that?" she asked with a slight stutter
I raise a thin eyebrow "Nagito said he saw her name on the internet" I tell her
"O-Oh okay well If you need any more information just ask me okay?" her voice was much more relaxed after I said that I once again rose an eyebrow but before we could continue our conversation the people who left came back dressed in school swim outfit
They were playing in the water having a bunch of fun I felt somewhat jealous but I pushed that aside but that fun soon ended as suddenly the sky turned dark
"Wha-what?" I voice out
"Ahh, Ahh…! Mike check! Mike Check! The monitor to my right light up though it was incredibly blurry
"Ah, ah! Ah, ah! Can you hear me, can you hear me?" the voice repeated the voice though was so laid back and gleeful that it seemed out of place. It definitely was different to Usami's As if an endless storm of malice could be felt raging behind that laid-back voice... The moment I felt it, my body shuddered though it was not out of fear it was because it felt...good? It was strange I shook my head trying to get that weirdness out of my head
"Puhuhu. Surprised? You Probably weren't surprised as SOMEONE! decided to mess with something! But then again the results are… Well, that's not here or there Phuhuhu we should move on, sorry to keep you in anticipation let's leave all this worth entertainment behind. It's time for the main attraction! You guys better head to hustle over to Jabberwock Park!" then the monitor flashed off
"So he has arrived… I will be back students!" Usami yelled as she disappeared
"It seems…. that was an unusual occurrence…" Byakuya said trying to stay calm which was somewhat similar to me for unknown reason hearing that voice laugh made a smile erupt on my face and a strange feeling go through me though it soon disappeared it still creeped me out
"It's best if... We go, too Jabberwock Park was it? Let's hurry." Chiaki said with confidence and with that, almost everyone started to leave the beach.
A/N(2): I decided to add some humor into this chapter as next chapter will bring some Hajime suffering or at least I plan on it because why not? it's gonna happen one way or another lol but yeah also I should possibly put this into the summary so everyone knows this is not an Island mode fanfic if you haven't noticed this full killing game which will have different victims and murders then cannon as expected so yeah as always leave predictions, thoughts and if I did a good job with the characters lol
