[ Nibelheim ]
Cloud looked out the window Kazuma and Aqua hadn't come home for two days already and Blue Six was starting to forget how they looked, he knew that because the pup had started to enter the house and run to his room whenever clouds mon wasn't paying attention.
Since then he had done two more quests or jobs for the guild but none of them were anything like the things the other hunters\ adventures did.
He heard blue six running around in his room again and the sound of something landing on the floor caught Clouds attention.
"I told you to not let him into the house," Claudia said to Cloud, as she picks up the small book Cloud had received yesterday
"When the war of the beasts brings about the world's end" Claudia and Cloud heard Kazuma say to Aqua, in an overly dramatic voice as they both entered the house The two of them listened as both adventurers recited to each other their version of the poem
Claudia places a finger in front of her lips signaling to Cloud that they should listen to the two and not interrupt them for anything else but to embarrass them later.
The moment they heard the front door close the two of them made their way downstairs.
"Oh my Warrier of Light, you who have died over a hundred thousand times. Know that I will always be with you, for you are my friend- lover and brother"
"Without you, I would have surely perished," Aqua said to Kazuma as Claudia and Cloud watched the two grave a glass and open the fridge before serving themselves a glass of grape juice.
Then Kazuma's voice lost its dramatic tone.
"How many times have I died, am I a warrior of light?"
"You are the only goddess that chose me, my story started with you I only met all of the others because of you"
"So if it means I have to die a hundred thousand more times, just so that you can go home, I'll do it," Kazuma said to Aqua with a sad voice
Aqua looked at Kazuma with a sad smile
"Hey, don't say that," Aqua said to Kazuma before sitting next to him
"No matter where I am, I'll always be a goddess, this may not be the Promis Land of Heaven, but I can go home when you do," Aqua said to Kazuma before laying her head on his shoulder.
Claudia and Cloud didn't say anything as they both understood that this was a rarely seen intimate moment that the two adventurers had.
"Hey, Aqua was I a warrior of light?' Kazuma skedAqua and Aqua immediately began to laugh
"Yeah like if the hiki-neet that stole panties and sexually harrassed our friends cold ever be a warrior of light" Aqua answered Kazuma before the tow started to laugh
"Hey I wasn't so bad" Kazuma answered Aqua before Aqua snorted
"Bark bark" Blue Six barked at Aqua and both Cloud and his mom knew that the two Hunters were aware that they were inside the house.
"Kazuma!" Cloud said to Kazuma as he ran up to Aqua and took Blue Six away from her because the pup had started to bite her shoe
"So I heard that you've been busy," Kazuma said to Cloud
"Yeah, but the bar isn't letting me do any of the cool jobs" Cloud answered Kazuma, and Claudia could see Clouds excited smile anxiously waiting for Kazuma to say something
"Hmmm a cool job for a kid who hasn't finished school yet, what do you say Aqua d you need another warrior of light?" Kazuma asked Aqua
Claudia watched as Aqua rose to her feet and placed both her and Kazuma's cups in the kitchen sink.
"...Hmmm, nop can't say I do"
"I mean if we are going by how the stories go, I've had a lot of warriors of morning come through and none of them ould get the job done, then we had all of those that could be said to be your betters"
"I mean they were stronger - faster and somehow you're the only one that got the job done"
"So no can't say I do" Aqua answered Kazuma and Claudia could hear the playfulness in the tone of voice she was using
Claudia was about to say something when she noticed Clouds' disappointed expression.
"You know the story has a start, the end somewhere here the beginning hasn't started yet, so maybe I could use a Warrier of the Night or do you want to be called The Warrior of the Evening," Aqua said to cloud as she leaned forward and place the tip of her finger on clouds forehead.
"Anyway, the bar told us to give this to you," Kazuma said to Claudia, and Claudia couldn't believe what she was seeing.
The bar or guild was asking her to leave her home for the next couple of days because the bar was going to investigate the area around the old Shinra mansion.
They weren't telling her, hey get out because we tell you.
No, they were warning her ahead of time, because even if the town was surrounded by stone walls some monsters could climb them- while others could just fly over the walls and completely ignore them.
"Are the two of you going with the team?" Claudia asked Kazuma and Aqua who just shook their heads
"Nop, we just got back from one job, we need to rest before we go to the other one" Aqua answered her
