Admiral Hackett glanced at galaxy map with a blank stare before he spoke, "Serpent, status on stealth prowlers."
Serpent's holo avatar flickered as he reported, "All reporting various findings, colonies, enemy fleets, and of course, more mass relays."
First they found a huge space tunning fork, then some pesky robo-bugs attacked their colony, and now they were invading territories of an alien interstellar empire. It all seemed too crazy to be true, but it was. But the worst was that those aliens weren't alone, AI translations of their computer memory banks told about an entire alien collective, consisting from more than a dozen of various alien species, the so called 'Citadel Council'. High Command gave orders to capture the system which they tracked the sole survivor of second contact to. They now had samples of their tech as well as lots of invaluable intel, but it was obvious they would try to take it back, so High Command sent additional forces to assist fleet Ouroboros in this show of force.
Their alien captives however… They've been putting up quite a fight since their initial arrival into the system. UEE forces successfully invaded and occupied lone system's colony and multiple space stations, as well as boarded and captured colony's orbital defense force flagship. Nonetheless they had a lot more of work to do.
2167 – Citadel Council chambers, the Citadel.
"What do you mean they took Caibius Prima!?"
Sparatus was competely enraged, the invaders captured one of their systems and perhaps an entire colony by this point.
"The last received transmission was reporting the destruction of colony's defense fleet, we presume that the colony itself has fallen already."
"Fedorian, I want a liberation force sent there immediately, we can't lose any more moments."
"We are already gathering forces for a counter attack, we estimate it will be ready to move out in 7 hours."
