I own nothing you may recognize

Thank you for the reviews, I do appreciate them and just to respond to some points:

Nysk: Thank you for reading, and I agree the last chapter was shorter, but to put it simply it was because that was where it felt right to split the chapter. Hope you enjoy this one.

6 Months Later Aegon's Fort 0AC

"Greetings Lords, thank you for coming, we will have the High Sorcerer, the High Septon, the Three-Eyed-Crow, A son of the Rhoyne, and a Priest of the Drowned God, shall all anoint King Aegon as King of the Seven Kingdoms," Jaehaerys said as he stood before a group of Lords.

"Of course, though I do not know who the High Sorcerer is to represent, I understand the others," Torrhen said respectfully.

"He is the leader of the worship of the 14 Flames which is why he will be the first and last to anoint Aegon, now shall we proceed?" Jaehaerys said respectfully, before taking a step back so five men could come and stand around Aegon.

"I Vamarr Qohnareon, High Sorcerer of the 14 Flames, do anoint Aegon Targaryen, of the family of the Dark Sister, as King of Westeros and keeper of the 14 flames," A man with black hair and blue eyes said pouring a small amount of wildfire onto Aegon, which to the shock of those outside of the other three Targaryens, did not burn him, before the man stepped aside.

"I the High Septon of the Seven do anoint Aegon Targaryen King of the Seven Kingdoms, may he honor his word," A man wearing a seven-pointed star on his cloak said respectfully.

"I the Three-eyed-Crow, do anoint Aegon Targaryen, King of the Seven Kingdoms and defender of the Day from the Long Night," A man who looked similar to Torrhen said before stepping back.

"I Garris Greenblood, son of the Rhoyne, anoint Aegon Targaryen as Protector of the Rhoynar, the Andals, Valyrians, Ironborn, and First men," A tan man said before stepping back.

"I Tyral Codd, Priest of the Drowned God, anoint Aegon Targaryen, who was paid the iron price, as Protector of the Realm," A man who appeared not to have bathed in years said before moving back once more.

"With the Anointing done, I Vamarr Qohnareon, name you King Aegon Targaryen, first of his name, King of the Rhoynar, the Andals, Valyrians, Ironborn, and First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm, long may you reign," The High Sorcerer said before kneeling, quickly followed by all others who were standing, while Aegon stood.

"Long May he Reign," Everyone said as one.

"Thank you, you may all rise," Aegon said kindly.

"Your Grace," They all said as they rose.

"As King, I must bring order to the realm, and so I shall. First, I shall name my Wardens. As Warden of the North, I name Lord Torrhen Stark, Warden of the North, and Lord of Winterfell. As Warden of the West, I name Lord Lyman Lannister, Warden of the West, and Lord of Casterly Rock. As Warden of the South, I name Lord Harlen Tyrell, Warden of the South and Lord of Highgarden. As Warden of the East, I name Lady Sharra Arryn until the time her son Ronnel is ready, Warden of the East and Lady of the Eyrie. As Warden of the Rivers, I name Lord Edmyn Tully, Warden of the Rivers, Lord of Riverrun. As Warden of the Isles, I name Lord Vickon Greyjoy, Warden of the Isles and Lord of Pyke. As Warden of the Forest, I name Lord Orys Baratheon, Warden of the Forest and Lord of Storms End," Aegon said respectfully.

"It will be as such," Was said together.

"Next order, I name my queens, Visenya and Rhaenys Targaryen, to rule in my stead should I die without heirs," Aegon said firmly to the shock of those around.

"It will be done," Everyone said with mixed trepidation.

"Finally, I organize a small council, to aide in my rule. As my Hand I name Jaehaerys Targaryen Lord of the Dragon Isles, his word will be as my own. Lord Jaehaerys, will you accept this role?" Aegon asked looking at Jaehaerys.

"It would be an honor, my King," Jaehaerys said humbly, kneeling.

"Then rise, and stand at my side, beside Visenya," Aegon said simply.

"Of course, your grace," Jaehaerys said before moving to where Aegon directed him.

"As my master of coin, I name Lord Crispin Celtigar, may your wisdom guide us as your son has guided our navy during this conquest," Aegon said simply.

"Of course, your grace," An elderly man said shocked, but honored.

"As my master of ships, I name Lord Daemon Valeryon, may you lead the fleet like your father before you," Aegon said causing a younger man to look at him in shock.

"Of course, your grace, it would be my honor," The young man said shock in his voice.

"Finally, as my Master of Laws I name Lord Triston Massey, you have aided me during this conquest and I know you will guide us in leading this land justly," Aegon said kindly.

"I will do my best, your grace," The man said kindly.

"You should also have a Grand Maester to advise you," Lord Hightower said cautiously.

"You bring forth a valid point, Lord Hightower, very well as one who is most well read, I name my Hand to be the Grand Maester," Aegon said firmly, daring anyone to oppose the choice.

"I will do all I can, your grace," Jaehaerys said respectfully.

5 years later; 5 AC Aegon's Fort now called King's Landing.

"You seem troubled, cousin, what ails you?" Aegon asked as he saw Jaehaerys looking troubled at a letter.

"The sister men's Rebellion is going poorly, and Doran Martell died suddenly, and the Dornish are becoming more hostile," Jaehaerys said sadly.

"Go with Visenya and crush the Rebellion, but I can tell more troubles you, and I doubt it is you are in need of release, since I have heard you with Ayara, and the one-time Sharra was here, I know you went hard on her. So, what troubles you?" Aegon asked kindly.

"I am needed on the Dragon islands, but am also needed here, and so I am conflicted, I should not but I am," Jaehaerys said simply.

"I figured as much, crush the Rebellion, then return and we can talk more, I know you also have a desire to explore and make further alliances, crush the rebellion and I will see what I can do for you," Aegon said kindly.

"Of course, my King" Jaehaerys said before standing and heading to Visenya's room to see if she would join him in crushing the Sister men's rebellion.

1 year later; Kings Landing.

"Welcome back, cousin, dear Visenya," Aegon said as he saw them get off their dragons.

"It is good to be back, brother," Visenya said before noticing Rhaenys was visibly pregnant.

"Jaehaerys, while Visenya is with Rhaenys, who holds the heir to the iron throne, come with me, I wish to ask your thoughts," Aegon said as Visenya rushed over to Rhaenys.

"Of course, my King," Jaehaerys said as he followed Aegon to a new tower that had been built since his departure.

"Welcome to the tower of the Hand, I presume the rebellion is no more?" Aegon asked once they both sat down.

"Indeed, the leader of which has been hung, and his sister who he named queen had her tongue removed," Jaehaerys said simply.

"Good, during your time away, Orys came and spoke with me, informing me that he feels you are not a good hand of the king if you go off to battle, which I find ridiculous, but he has gained favor in the court, and many want him to replace you as my hand," Aegon said sadly.

"Very well, if you think it best for the realm," Jaehaerys said simply.

"I don't, but I also do not need another rebellion. I also know the Dragon islands need you back, I cannot spend the time required to be there and they need leadership as the smaller Dragon's teeth are crumbling," Aegon said sadly.

"I see, if I were to give my thoughts, I would remove the title that he holds as a warden, forever his bloodline will never hold a title of Warden again, but then make him your hand, I will return to Dragon's Fang and help our people," Jaehaerys said tiredly.

"Very well, I will do as you suggest, but know in truth you are my closest advisor, except my sisters," Aegon said sounding defeated but nodding.
