Percy POV

Apparently, me and my wise girl were supposed to lead through the third island? It said it was going to be difficult because that was literally what the sign said, but what I was curious about was how the sign knew about me being the son of the sea god and Annabeth, daughter of Athena. I was ready to protect my friends, at first, when I met Magnus, I felt sort of betrayed because I thought Annie had cheated on me but nope, that was her cousin, I didn't know about the 'Chase' at the end of his name. I appeared on the other side and found out that we were on this massive island, of course, I looked down and saw hundreds of monsters waiting at the bottom of the mountain, or I thought it was a mountain. "Woh," Alex said as the others stared and observed the scene," "Do we fight them?" Magnus asked as Carter nodded solemnly,

"I can sense a portal just below the place, in the horde of monsters" as Magnus shrugged and so did Alex, "That's enough for me," as he did the stupidest thing I had ever seen… he jumped off the thing. "MAGNUS!" Annabeth screamed but when he landed, he immediately started fighting when he landed as I looked at Alex confused, "Einherjar have enhanced abilities, they could jump off a skyscraper without dying, that's how we were trained." as Wise Girl's eyes widened. "So how do we get down?" I asked whilst Alex just told us to climb down the mountains. She did not go by her law as she also stupidly jumped off the mountain. Yes, I know that they were technically immortal and had inhuman abilities but it's quite hard not to feel panic when you see anybody yeet off a mountain. I quickly at least, at a good pace I managed to climb down until I reached the bottom but the only problem was that all the monsters were gone and Magnus and Alex were covered in monster dust without a scratch on them.

"No fair!" I complained, "You left no monsters for us," as I pouted, yes I know, monsters are bad but you can't be a demigod if you don't complain that there was a horde of monsters and you got to kill none because of two teens from an entire different cult. Magnus smirked whilst he heard me complain. Now, "What do we do now?" Alex asked whilst everybody was down, "We..." I started but I had no time to finish until we fell straight downwards, I screamed, "We fall!" as I fell downwards until I lightly touched the ground, wait, I was I lightly touching the ground, how was that as I stood up and observed the surroundings, my eyes widened once I realised where we were. No no no, we weren't here. We were in the Underworld as I heard a voice hissing through the air as me and the others listened in horror again to the prophecy,

"In the place of Darkness,

In the Archless Cave

Shalt Eight descend

Where death shall pend

The decision of the Red Robed Man

Θα αναζητήσετε το μεγάλο θεό "

The voice froze before cackling with laughter as it faded away. That could be only one thing as I spoke, confirming the other's fears, "We know what we have to do, we have to find the Archless Cave? And the Red Robed Man..."

? POV

I cackled whilst I saw the voice repeating the prophecy to the 8 children. I felt triumphant as I saw their faces twist with horror. I called 10 of my soldiers as I told them to hunt down the children as they yelled, "We shall!" as they disbanded out the doors with their spears, sword and bows at the ready. I called one of my messengers, "How did my message convey to the pantheons." I demanded or snarled at my messenger, "They are preparing a war, I think that you shouldn't bother them because it would be easier for them not to-" as I cut him off and grabbed his throat, "Do not tell me what to do and what not to do, I am the one that is spreading the hatred through them to make them wage war if it was not for me than they would already be making peace." as I tossed the messenger across the room and muttered deviously to myself, "Oh Children, ready or not, here we come." I said as I laughed evilly and stroked my death hound's neck.
