Previously: Back at McKinley High, Sam put together some unusual duos, and the winners would be the leads in Sectionals, Elijah and Beth won, leaving Mia upset. Sectionals were only a week away. Kurt and Blaine wanted to go back to Lima with Mercedes to see everyone.

A school bus is parked up outside McKinley High, Will stands with Emma, Sam and Penny.

Mia and Beth then walk over to the bus with Amanda. Mia then smiles "morning".

Will smiles at her, as Sam says "morning guys, get on the bus, we're leaving in five minutes".

As Mia and Beth then get onto the bus, Mia then sees Elijah, Reo and Marcus already on the bus.

Mia walks over and she sits beside Elijah. Elijah then smiles "how are you doing?" Mia nods "feeling the nerves" Elijah nods at her "I think we all are" Mia nods at him "yeah, definitely".

Beth then sits beside Reo and he smiles "hey beautiful" Beth then sighs "will you shut up".

Kourtney and Kara then walk onto the bus together and Kara then screams "SECTIONALS!".

Elijah, Reo, Marcus, Beth and Mia then start cheering as Kara runs over to them smiling.

Xander, Nathan and the other Glee Club members all then get on the bus with Sam, Will, Emma, Penny and Amanda. Sam then says "alright guys, it's the day, hope we're all ready?".

Emma then says "I wanted to wish you all good luck today, I know you're gonna win, just remember, it's all about working together and putting all the love into this".

As Emma gets off of the bus, Will then gets into the driver's seat and he shouts "LET'S GO".

Everyone starts cheering on the bus, as Will starts to drive away from McKinley High.

At an airport, a door opens as a recently boarded plane allows its passengers off.

As the door opens, Kurt walks out with Blaine, Nyla and Mercedes. Kurt smiles "not long till we're home" Blaine holds Kurt's hand and he smiles "let's go" Mercedes smiles at them.

The four of them go down an escalator, and as they get down to the floor, they walk towards the exit, Mercedes then looks at Nyla "bet you can't wait to see your Uncle Sam again?" Nyla smiles.

As they all walk outside, Kurt then stops and he stares in shock with Blaine and Mercedes too.

Outside, Artie, Tina, Brittany and Kitty all stand waiting for them.

Blaine then shouts "TINA". Blaine runs over and he hugs Tina. Tina then smiles "oh my god!".

Mercedes laughs as she and Kitty hug.

Kurt then walks up to Artie and he says "I saw your new movie that came out a few months ago, it was amazing, I loved everything...and the costumes!" Artie smiles "I knew you'd love them".

Blaine then looks at Brittany and he says "hey...Brit, how're you?" Brittany smiles at him, but she then pulls a card out and she says "I only came because I have not received your birthday for Lord Tubbington yet, so I bought you one to sign" Blaine then smiles and he hugs her.

As the bus drives down a highway, inside the bus, people are talking to each other.

Elijah sits in his seat whilst Mia looks out of the window. Elijah then says "hey, Mia?" Mia then turns and looks at him "mm?" Elijah stares at her with guilt in his eyes "would you prefer I give the lead to Reo?" Mia then sits up in her chair "what?" Elijah sighs "I know you were disappointed that you didn't get the lead with me, I wanted you to win, so badly, but I hate that it makes you upset, I'll give it to someone else if you'd prefer that" Mia shakes her head "no, don't! This moment, is going to be such a big part of your life, don't throw that away for me".

In front of them, Beth sits there listening to their conversation and she then sighs.

Reo then says "so anyway, I thought maybe we could try it out, you know-" Beth then shouts "WOULD YOU SHUT UP! I AM NOT GONNA DATE YOU, IN FACT, NATHAN WOULD HAVE MORE LUCK DATING ME THAN YOU!". Reo sits there staring at her, and he looks around and stares at Nathan.

Elijah then looks around awkwardly until he sees Marcus on his own, panicking.

Elijah then looks at Mia "back in a second". Mia then nods at him "okay".

Elijah walks over to Marcus and he then sits beside "hey?" Marcus looks at him "I'm sorry, I'm just nervous" Elijah nods "the first time in front of a big crowd?" Marcus smirks "you could say that" Elijah nods "well, we're gonna be fine, I know we will, we've been practising, and you couldn't be anymore braver than me, in fact, I think you're braver than me than anyone on this bus" Marcus smiles, "you think?" Elijah then shakes his head "no, I already know that".

Mia sits smiling at Marcus and Elijah until she then sees Reo stand up and walking away.

Mia then crawls into the seat in front and she looks at Beth "boyfriend trouble?" Beth rolls her eyes "don't!" Mia smiles "I'm sorry, can I help?" Beth looks at her "I suppose everyone in here terrified, I'm not...because either we win or lose, but I still have the Cheerio's" Mia stares at her.

Beth then looks at Mia and she says "but you just have this, and I know you love it and want it more than I do" Mia then says "what're you getting at?" Beth says "I'm not saying this is a nice gesture on my behalf, but I think you should take the lead, with Elijah, we both know you'll do a better job" Mia smiles at her "are you serious?" Beth nods at her "yeah". Mia then hugs her.

Outside Buckeye Civic Auditorium, Kurt, Blaine, Nyla, Kitty, Artie, Tina, Mercedes and Brittany wait together, talking to each other.

Blaine and Kurt hold hands, and Artie and Tina also hold hands.

As they all stand there, they then see a bus stop in front of them, and as the doors open, Will and Sam walk out smiling. Will looks at them all with tears in his eyes. Sam smiles at all of them.

Backstage, Sam walks into The New Directions small changing area.

Elijah, Mia, Marcus, Reo, Beth, Kourtney, Kara, Xander, Nathan and all the other members stand together and Sam then says "I've been given the list of when we're going, so we're going up against some pretty good group, two of them...are a worry. The two we should be worried about are Vocal Adrenaline and Aural Intensity, luckily, we're going last, which means you'll see just how much energy you need to put in, and you can leave a great lasting impression on them".

In the audience, everyone sits together in their seats.

The lights then go dark as a voice then says "welcome to everybody, to this year's Sectionals! First of all, let's welcome the three judges who will be decide who make it to Regionals...first of all, let's put our hands together for the one and only Melva Texon White".

Melva waves at everyone.

The voice then says "and our next judge, it's the beautiful...LINDSAY LOHAN".

Lindsay stands up and she waves, whilst also muttering "why am I back here again?".

The voice then says "and it's our favourite Local News Anchor! Rod Remington!".

Rod stands up and waves at everyone smiling.

The voice then says "now, let's welcome our first show choir for this evening, all the way from Westvale High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana...AURAL INTENSITY!".

(Reach, S Club 7 starts to play)

Lights shine onto the stage, and Aural Intensity all start to walk onto the stage.

A woman then steps out and she starts to sing "when the world, leaves you feeling blue, you can count on me, I will be there for you".

A man then stands beside her and he sings "when it seems, all your hopes and dreams, are a million miles away, I will re-assure you".

The man and woman then sing together, but behind them, the rest of Aural Intensity is dancing "we've got to all stick together, good friends, there for each other, never ever forget that I've got you and you've got me, so-".

All of Aural Intensity starts to sing "reach for the stars, climb every mountain higher, reach for the stars, follow your heart's desire, reach for the stars".

The man then sings on his "and when that rainbow's shining over you".

The woman then smiles as she sings "that's when your dreams will all come true".

(As The Song Continues In The Background)

Elijah, Mia, Marcus, Reo, Beth, Kourtney, Kara, Xander, Nathan and all the other members all stare in shock. Elijah then turns around and looks at Sam "you want us to be like that?".

Sam turns his head, looking at Will nervously. Will then sighs and says "you'll be great".

(Song Ends)

Backstage, everyone stands panicking.

Sam and Will stand together, Will then says "alright guys! PLEASE".

Elijah and everyone else looks at Will.

Beth then says "there's no way we can do this, we aren't prepared".

Will then says "when I was in charge, we never did any big fancy dance moves, all we did was sing our hearts out...if you put the love into the song, the judges will see that, they don't care about the dances, they want to hear the song, and you have two leads, amazing leads".

Mia and Elijah smile at each other.

As they stand backstage, they then hear the voice say "let's welcome our next show choir for the evening, all the way from Carmel High, Akron, Ohio...VOCAL ADRENALINE!".

Elijah and Mia both stand at the side of the stage watching Vocal Adrenaline walking onto the stage.

(Turn Down For What, DJ Snake, Lil Jon starts to play)

As the music plays, both Mia and Elijah stare in shock.

Vocal Adrenaline then gets into their positions.

There are four separate lines, the backline starts to dance first, on the next beat, the third line starts, then on the next beat, the second line, and then on the next beat, the first line.

A man then steps out from within the backline to the front line as the others dance "fire up that loud, another round of shots, turn down for what? Turn down for what? Turn down for what? Turn down for what? Turn down for what?".

(Whilst They Sing/Dance)

Mia then whispers "they're barely singing anything! And everyone loves them!".

Elijah then says "remember what Mr Schue said, it's about our voices".

(Song Ends)

Later on, Elijah, Mia, Marcus, Reo, Beth, Kourtney, Kara, Xander, Nathan and all the Club members stand together. Sam stands with Will, Amanda and Penny.

Kitty, Artie, Tina, Mercedes and Brittany then enter the room to see them.

Sam goes "alright, we all ready to do this?" Marcus looks at him nervously.

Reo then taps Elijah on the shoulder "good luck out there" Elijah smiles at him "you too".

Tina then says "wait, have they done the thing, yet?" Mia looks at her "what thing?".

Will then smirks "oh yeah...Sam it's all yours".

Sam stands them all in the show circle and he says "it's a tradition, the show circle! Before we go out on stage, you put your hands in the middle and we all say amazing".

Kara then looks at him weirdly.

Sam shakes his head until the lights above their heads start to flash. Sam then nods alright, after three...one...two...three-".

Everyone then puts their hands in and they all shout "A...A...AMAZING".

Mia and Elijah step onto the stage together, walking on holding hands, Elijah then lets go as he gets into position.

Behind them is a red curtain. Mia looks at the red curtain but she then turns to the audience.

(Up, Olly Murs and Demi Lovato starts to play(With an extended Intro))

As the music starts, at the back of the audience, the door opens, and two people walk in.

As Kurt, Blaine, Nyla, Mercedes, Artie, Tina, Kitty and Brittany sit together, they then see two familiar faces walking over to them, Tina then smiles as Rachel and Quinn walk over to them.

Rachel then says "we didn't miss it, did we?" Tina then says "it just started".

On the stage, Elijah starts to sing " I drew a broken heart, right on your windowpane, waited for your reply, here in the pouring rain".

Elijah turns and he looks Mia in the eyes, smiling at her warmly "just breathe against the glass, leave me some kind of sign, I know the hurt won't pass, yeah, just tell me it's not the end of the line, just tell me it's not the end of the line".

Mia then belts out "I never meant to break your heart, and I won't let this plane go down, I never meant to make you cry, I'll do what it takes to make this fly".

Elijah then joins in with her as they sing together "oh, you gotta hold on, hold on to what you're feeling, that feeling is the best thing, the best thing, alright".

Mia then sings on her own "I'm gonna place my bet on us".

Elijah joins in with her again as they sing "I know this love is heading, in the same direction, that's up".

Back on his own, Elijah turns to the audience and he continues singing on his own "you drew a question mark, but you know what I want, I wanna turn the clock, yeah, right back to where it was".

Mia joins in with Elijah and they sing "so let's built a bridge, yeah, from your side to mine, I'll be the one to cross over".

Elijah sings on his own "just tell me it's not the end of the line".

Mia then sings on her own "just tell me it's not the end of the line".

Mia and Elijah sing together again "I never meant to break your heart, and I won't let this plane go down, I never meant to make you cry, I'll do what it takes to make this fly".

Behind them, the red curtain drops to the floor and Marcus, Reo, Beth, Kourtney, Kara, Xander, Nathan and all the other Glee Club Members walk out onto the stage and they all join in with singing, and all of them sing "oh, you gotta hold on, hold on to what you're feeling, that feeling is the best thing, the best thing, alright".

Mia then sings on her own "I'm gonna place my bet on us".

Elijah then sings on his own "I know this love is heading".

Mia joins in with him "in the same direction".

Everyone then sings "that's up!".

Everyone in the audience starts to applaud them and they all start cheering.

Rachel, Quinn, Kurt, Blaine, Nyla, Mercedes, Artie, Tina, Kitty and Brittany all stand up cheering at them. Quinn then smiles "they were incredible" Kurt nods at her and he hugs her.

On the stage, Elijah, Mia, Marcus, Reo, Beth, Kourtney, Kara, Xander, Nathan and all the other Glee Club Members stand there smiling. Mia then looks at Elijah and she nods at him.

(Everybody, Backstreet Boys starts to play)

On the stage, everyone gets into their positions and they start hyping up the audience.

All the boys of the group then walk to one side of the stage, as the girls stay on their side.

As a group, everyone then sings "everybody, rock your body, everybody, rock your body right, backstreet's back alright".

Elijah then steps out and he sings "oh my God we're back again, brothers, sisters, everybody sing, we're gonna bring the flavour show you how, I've gotta question for ya, better answer now".

Reo then sings "am I original?".

Marcus looks over at him and sings "yeah".

Reo then stands behind Beth and sings "am I the only?"

Marcus sings again "yeah".

Reo then sings again "am I sexual?".

Beth rolls her eyes as Marcus sings "yeah".

Elijah then joins in with him and the two of them sing "am I everything you need? You better rock your body now".

Everyone then sings "everybody, rock your body, everybody, rock your body right, backstreet's back alright! ALRIGHT!".

(Black Magic, Little Mix starts to play)

As all the girls stand together, they all look at the boys.

Mia then smiles at Elijah and she sings "all the girls on the block knocking at my door".

Beth then sings "wanna know what it is, make the boys want more".

Kara, who stands in the middle of them then sings "is your lover, playing on your side? Said he loves you, but he ain't got time, here's the answer, come and get it, at a knocked down price".

All the girls then shout "HEY".

Kourtney smiles at Kara, then looks at the audience as she sings "full of honey, just to make him sweet, crystal balling, just to help him see, what he's been missing".

Beth then starts to sing on her own "so come and get it, while you've still got time".

Mia then holds hands in a line with the girls and she sings "get your boy on his knees, and repeat after me, say".

All the girls then sing "take a sip of my secret potion, I'll make you fall in love, for a spell that can't be broken, one drop should be enough, boy, you belong to me, I got the recipe and it's called Black Magic".

Elijah then sings "and it's called Black Magic".

Mia looks over at him as the boys then join in with them, and they all sing "take a sip of my secret potion, one taste and you'll be mine, it's a spell that can't be broken and I'll keep you up all night".

Mia then sings on her own "boy, you belong to me, I got the recipe and it's called Black Magic".

Everyone then sings "and it's called Black Magic".

Beth then ends it singing "magic".

Everyone in the audience starts to applaud them, and they all stand smiling on the stage.

Backstage, they all run through to their changing room, where they see Sam waiting for them.

Mia and Elijah smile at him, and he stands there staring at them.

Sam then lets out a massive smile "YOU GUYS! THIS WAS AMAZING!".

Elijah and everyone then starts to cheer with Sam.

Inside a secret room, Melva, Rod and Lindsay all sit together.

Rod then says "without a doubt in my mind...Aural Intensity stole that show!".

Melva sighs "I thought they were all awful, I mean...Vocal Adrenaline? They barely sang a word! And ugh, those New Directions...they sounded like they had been forced on that stage-".

Lindsay then sits there on her phone "honestly guys, I just started a new trend, it's hashtag, cancel the school choirs, but to be honest, trust the only one who can sing here, The New Directions were definitely the best" Melva then rolls her eyes at her. Rod then nods "let's pick one then".

Back on the stage, Aural Intensity, Vocal Adrenaline and The New Directions all stand together.

Will and Sam stand with their team as The Presenter then says "and, in third place...VOCAL ANDRENALINE!".

Will looks shocked as he looks at their team who are not happy.

In the audience, Rachel looks at them, Quinn then whispers "guess they aren't as good as they used to be" Rachel nods at her "oh, well" Quinn looks at Rachel's finger, where her wedding ring was, and she says "any regrets?" Rachel then looks at Quinn and shakes her head "none".

On the stage, Elijah and Mia hold each other's hands as The Presenter then says "and in second place...we have...

AURAL INTENSITY!

WHICH MEANS, FROM LIMA, OHIO...THE NEW DIRECTIONS WILL BE GOING THROUGH TO REGIONALS!".

Elijah and everyone else starts to cheer on the stage.

Rachel, Quinn, Kurt, Blaine, Nyla, Mercedes, Artie, Tina, Kitty and Brittany all stand up cheering for them.

Next Time - Post-Sectionals - With Sectionals won, Sam and the others are welcomed to a surprise party. But things quickly head downhill for them when someone comes to talk to Sam. Elijah and Mia head out on their own to talk about winning. Kitty and Sam talk about having a back-up Glee Coach, and Kitty wants to be it. Tensions are getting higher.
