Brooke didn't remember much after she and Connor had laid in bed together the night before, she woke up to her and Connor still a naked, tangled mess together, he was in his dormant stage, she could feel him breathing behind her with his face burrowed into her hair.

Brooke knew as long as she didn't move too quickly nor said his name, he wouldn't wake up. She started to slowly move his arm from her waist and pulled her legs out from his, he rolled himself over and faced the ceiling, still soundly asleep. Brooke looked at him, he was beautiful and peaceful.

She grabbed an oversize shirt and tiptoed to the kitchen, saying her good mornings to Nala and letting her relieve herself. Brooke turned the coffee machine on before she sorted Nalas breakfast, Brooke waited for her mug to fill whilst she looked outside, the weather was starting to become warmer, but ice still sheened over the pavements.

Brooke sat down at the table, holding her cup of coffee close to her lips, she reminisced about the night before. Connor was something else last night, Brooke knew Connor wasn't the first guy she had slept with, but there was something different about him, he didn't have sex with her in the goal of just finishing and going to sleep, he kept at her pace and made sure she was okay. The deep feeling in the pit of her stomach made her smile, she really did love Connor, but it was too soon to say the words, she wanted to make sure he was ready for those words as well.

She heard the bedroom door open, Connor walked out wearing some jogging bottoms, he was trying to fix his hair, but it was stuck in all directions.

"Morning," Brooke said with a smile, Connor sat down across from her, his demeanour had changed, he seemed more laid back and relaxed.

"Good morning," he replied, he gave up with his hair and pushed it all back. Brooke chuckled as she took a drink of her coffee. "You could have woken me when you got up," Connor said.

"You looked too peaceful and I thought you might have been tired from the night before," Brooke replied with an even tone. Connor smirked at her, shaking his head slightly.

"I never get... tired, but last night was very enjoyable." Brooke got up from her chair, taking her cup to the sink, she turned around to lean against the counter.

"Well," she said pulling her t-shirt over her head and letting it drop to the floor, "I'm going for a shower, if you want a more enjoyable time with me, you more then welcome to join me," she said as she walked past, letting her fingers glide against his shoulder as she passed him. Connor muttered something under his breath, but he seemed lost at the sight of her walking down the hall and into the bathroom.

Brooke started the shower and grabbed some towels whilst she waited for it to warm up. She made sure to leave the door open before getting under the water, she let it run through her hair and down her body. The water was hot against her skin, but she felt something cold press against her, Connor had gotten in and wrapped his arms around her, already semi-hard.

Brooke turned around and let him push her against the cold tile wall, she hissed as the cold hit her skin, but moaned when Connor started to bite down her neck, she felt herself already becoming hot for him. Connor moved down to her breasts, sucking and nibbling them, Brooke moaned deeply, moving her hands through his wet hair.

They both wanted it quicker this time, the thirst for each other was too much. Connor picked Brooke up, letting her wrap her legs around his waist as he held her back against the wall, he knew he wouldn't slip and could take her weight.

Brooke moved her hand down between their bodies, guiding him inside her, this time around she didn't find it as painful for accommodating his size, and it was relieving since Connor didn't wait for her as he started to move his hips to push her into the wall.

Brooke held his cheek with one hand and bent her other arm to wrap around his neck, Connor groaned into her neck, picking up speed already. Brooke moved his head to catch his lips, she pushed her tongue into his mouth, moaning when he did the same.

Connor pulled away slightly, catching her lips with his teeth, Brooke reacted by dragging her nails along his neck, Connor moved his hand to cup her breast, kneading it.

The shower made it steamy and difficult to see, Connor could still clearly see Brooke being in pure ecstasy as she craned her head back against the shower wall, trying to muffle her screams. Connor was pounding into her as he came close to release, and Brooke wasn't far behind.

Connor groaned loudly when he hit the limit, he breathed heavily, digging his head into her neck and moving slowly, letting himself fill her. That sent Brooke over the edge as she clawed at his back, chanting Connor's name under her breath.

Connor waited for Brooke to stop trying to claw his skin off before letting her stand on her own, though she nearly slipped with her legs becoming unsteady. "You okay?" Connor asked, trying to hold her steady.

Brooke smiled, letting the blood come back to her legs, "yeah, just need a minute. Do you want to shower with me? I'll do your hair?" Brooke unsteadily leaned over to grab the bottle of shampoo.

"My hair actually doesn't need washing, water does just fine," Connor said, he took the shampoo from her hands and lathered it in his own hands. He smothered it all over Brooke's scalp, her black hair soon turned bubbly white.

"Damn, wish I could just do that with my own hair, be a tangled mess if I didn't use shampoo and conditioner..." Brooke forgot what she was saying when Connor started to massage her scalp, running his hands down the full length of her hair and then back up, he even massaged behind her ears, which relieved a lot of pressure.

Connor pulled the shower out from its holder, placing it over Brooke's head, he ran his hands through her hair to rinse the shampoo out. Brooke started to mess around, poking his stomach as she had her head bent over slightly, her hair hid her face.

Connor chuckled slightly at her, "I'm not ticklish," he said as she continued to poke him. Brooke tried running her fingers down his hips, he did twitch slightly.

"Ha Ha! Liar," she laughed, she continued to do it and Connor snorting a slight giggle in response, his hip muscles contracted under her touch. Brooke gasped and pulled herself upright when his white plating showed.

"Shit, did I touch something I shouldn't have?" Brooke said moving her hair from her face, Connor looked down, narrowing his eyes at why his artificial skin had done that.

"I'm not sure, I never encountered this before." His LED flickered yellow as he tried to find the answer to why it happened, but his processes had no answers for him. He just let the skin cover it back up.

Brooke moved passed him to grab the conditioner, doing it herself so she could let Connor clean his body. "Do you find it odd, having the ability to do that to your skin?" Connor paused as he thought about the question.

"No," he simply said, washing down his neck and chest. "I find it odd that you can't. I find my artificial skin is a mask, my white plating is my true skin." Brooke massaged the conditioner in, listening to Connor's words carefully, she never thought that much into him having two different types of skin.

"Our skin does change colour depending on the weather, we can get tans, and like me, I go paler during the winter. Sometimes if we have fresh skin coming through from an injury, it can be paler for a few weeks whilst it heals over," she explained to him. Connor swapped places with her, letting her wash out the conditioner as he gently rubbed his own hair with water.

"That thing that Markus and North did yesterday... what was it?" Brooke asked as she finished washing and turned the shower off. Connor got out first, holding his hand out for her to follow.

"It's a way androids can connect with each other. Share memories and experience them first hand. I had to do it with some androids to probe their memories. For those who tried to reject it, the experience can be... unpleasant." They both dried themselves and headed to the bedroom to change. Brooke tied her hair up to dry it once she was done getting changed.

"You had to force androids into doing it?" Brooke asked with concern. Connor paused when he was getting his clothes out of his bag, nodding his head slowly.

"Yes," he quietly said. "I regret it now, but it's too late to take it back," he said with pain in his voice.

"it was your program that forced you to do it, Connor, not you. Don't blame yourself." Connor slumped slightly, it was the past things he regretted doing, he could have helped those deviants, but instead, he either killed them or turned them over to Cyberlife.

"Oh here," Brooke said as she jogged over to her wardrobe, she opened it and got out a suit that was hung up. "The least I could do when I ruined it, surprisingly the stains came out easily enough," Brooke said, passing the suit over to Connor.

He looked it over, the stains weren't visible to Brooke's eyes, but he could see them clear as day. "Thank you," he said with a smile, folding it up and placing it in his bag. He would have to clean it himself to fully get the stains out, other androids would see it just as easily and it wouldn't be professional, but he still smiled at the fact that Brooke tried.

"Let's finish getting ready and get to the DPD, we need to get that evidence for Kamski," Brooke said as she grabbed her own clothes out for the day, she wanted to look professional for meeting one of the richest men in America.

Brooke and Connor got to the DPD for just gone nine, they both were surprised to see Hank already there, all the evidence they had was spralled out on his desk. He looked up when they both approached, it only took him a second to see something happened.

"Damn, you both really don't wait around, do you?" he said with a booming laugh, slapping Connor on his shoulder.

Brooke grunted under her breath and Connor looked more confused than anything. "Why would we wait around when you interrupted last time?" he replied with an equal tone.

Hank only laughed, even more, doubling over on his desk, Brooke swatted Connor's arm, shushing him before others heard. She didn't want word to spread around about them both at the moment, things were still on ice between androids and humans.

"Anyway," Hank said, wiping his eyes. "This is everything we've got, Fowler isn't happy about the idea of us going to Kamski, but there jackshit else we can do," he dryly said as she slumped into his desk chair.

Connor waved his hand out for Brooke to sit in his seat, he half sat on the end of the desk, looking down at the evidence bags. "We have no other choice, there are no other leads but the trace of the employee at Cyberlife."

"Can we figure out a way to find out who it is or do we need Kamski for it?" Brooke asked. Connor looked at her, a thin line through his lip.

"I can only gain access to his name, date of birth and any criminal convictions he has ever had, which strikes me as... odd, he has non." Hank sighed under his breath.

"Seems this man must really hate androids for him to turn to crime at this point in his life. Kamski will find the fucker soon enough."

"I'm sorry, but you are not authorised to be in this area of the building, please return to reception," a police officer was raising his voice from the entrance of the lifts. Connor turned around and saw Markus trying to get past.

"Officer Johnson, he is authorized to come through," Connor called as he walked closer. Markus tried to walk past again, but the officer held his arm up.

"I'm sorry, Connor, but I cannot go off just your word," the office replied. Hank swung his head back in frustration.

"I'm saying he's allowed through, go do something better Johnson," Hank shouted. The officer quickly dropped his arm, muttering under his breath as he walked away. Markus watched him stroll away before turning back to Connor.

"Sorry about that, Markus," Connor said, offering his hand.

"It's okay," Markus replied, accepting the handshake. They both turned back to Hanks' desk, Brooke had pulled another chair for Markus to sit down, she gave him a small smile in welcoming before sitting back down in Connor's seat.

"This is everything we have for Kamski," Hank said, moving to the side for Markus to see. He looked through it all, it was stuff he had already seen before, but he still scanned them.

"I got the same results you mentioned on the syringe, the man needed to look for it. He is an engineer for Cyberlife," Markus said. Connor narrowed his eyes at him.

"You were able to see that from your scans?" he asked in disbelief. Brooke raised her eyebrows as both androids stared at each other, it just occurred to her, she had never seen another android that was like Markus, was he also a prototype?

"Yes, couldn't you?" Markus asked, more relaxed then what Connor was.

"No, I can only get their date of birth, name, place of work and criminal record," Connor replied, slumping himself down on the end of the table, looking defeated.

"Wait, Markus?" Brooke said getting his attention. "What model are you? I've never seen another android like you." Markus looked at her, his blank expression didn't give her much to go on.

"He's an RK200 prototype," Connor answered for him. "The same series as me," he added dryly. Markus looked back at him, lips parted slightly.

"You are RK800, correct?" Markus asked.

"Correct, we are the only two of our series," Connor replied. Even Markus knew that was odd, the RK series was new, but not that new for only two types to be made for it.

"I have quite a few questions for Kamski, I want to know why I'm the only one of my series number," Markus said as he crossed his arms over his chest, Kaamski had a lot to answer for. One question that stood out was why did himself and Connor have the ability to convert androids to deviants, but no other could unless its emotional shock.

"I cannot answer that question myself. I thought for a long time I was the only RK series out there," Connor replied. Hank got up, stretching his back out before he started to collect the evidence into a briefcase.

"We need to get going," Brooke said as she looked at the time, it would take over half an hour to get to Cyberlife.

They all left the station and took Hank's car, Connor was happy enough to sit in the back with Markus, they both talked quietly between them. Brooke could see happiness in Connor as he could relate to someone being like him, a long-lost brother in a way.

Life outside in Detroit was slowly becoming more normal, there were still a few different businesses that were shut, some had signs refusing to open until androids were dealt with. But the President had stuck to her word and was working for more rights for androids. They are able to work, get a fair wage and have the same breaks allowed to them as a human did. At the moment they were only pushing it for businesses who were happy to have androids work for them, they soon were going to make it mandatory where androids had the same allowance to get any job as a human, even if the business doesn't agree.

Androids were now allowed to buy their own cars and rent property, but buying was still a sticking point as Detroit had fallen behind in building newer houses since the revolution and now the introduction to contracts for the previous android workers to come back and be paid a fair wage.

The President was able to offer some of Markus' people old hotels to live in, but of course, making sure they had the necessities with electricity, water and Cyberlife had set up contracts with biocomponents and blue blood to be regularly available to all androids.

Hank pulled up at the main gates, the guards asked for his and Brookes ID and the serial numbers for both Connor and Markus. They were cleared and then drove up the long drive to the main entrance.

"Shit, this place is massive," Brooke muttered to herself, Connor smirked behind her.

"Make sure you stay close by, I don't want to lose you," he replied with a light chuckle.

"Yes, mum," she shot back with a big grin. Hank made a gross sound at them both, Brooke punched his arm. "Don't be like that, old man," she said laughing at him.

Hank pulled into a parking space as everyone started to climb out. "I ain't old man, just don't go fucking each other in here, keep your hands to yourself." Markus froze and looked at them all, Brooke leant her head into the side of the car, moaning loudly at Hank's words.

"Lieutenant!" Connor shouted at him, it seemed Connor really was being a mother to everyone. "No more jokes about this now, please," he said scolding Hank.

"Yeah, yeah," Hank said, holding his hands up in defeat. He walked off towards the main doors, Brooke walked with him whilst Connor and Markus stayed close behind.

"What did he mean by that?" Markus asked leaning into Connor, he felt his Thirium pump move faster, partly embarrassed.

"I... don't worry about it," Connor replied, picking up the pace. Markus held back the smirk, he knew full well what Connor was hiding from him, but was glad he had found happiness after everything he had been through.

"Come on, kids. I wanna get this shit done and go home," Hank shouted like a dad taking all his kids out for a day trip. He mostly just wanted to leave as quickly as they arrived, he didn't trust Kamski and knew Connor could be in danger the moment he stepped through the doors.

But, they needed answers and needed them fast to protect all androids.
