1 week later:

Her phone buzzed, as she rolled over in her yellow duvet nicely snug in her bed. She stirred hearing the phone buzz again. She opens one eye as the sun peered inside the small bedroom from the left corner window. She looked at the digital red clock shining brightly 1:03pm. She turned over unsure what to do. The days blurred together; she knew she needed the break but now she felt uneasy. She sat up from her bed, gently swiping her phone, looking across the screen. She had a message from Chester, but she ignored it. -Bastard- Their relationship was a lustful fantasy ending very had the nerve to curse her out and call her a whore. The accusations she was sleeping with Trunks, was the stinger. She sighed, scratching her forehead with a groan. Trunks had depleted her emotional energy the other day. She couldn't handle the chaos taking this week off, which consisted of her eating junk food and watching reruns of shark week. Her phone buzzed once more "Urghhh" She dramatically fell into her bed again grabbing her phone off the nightstand of mess. It was Pan

"How's Trunks?"

"I think everything is fine. I took the week off." Marron nervously replied, the young quarter Saiyan keeping tabs on Trunks. She still held a general concern but perhaps it was her nerves. She seemed very stressed with school, but again Marron questioned the Saiyan. There were more to the Saiyan species than she understood. Trunks last week was fucking ridiculous with his mood swings along with his uncontrollable anger.

"A week off? Wow, congrats. Um... I'm really concerned. Trunks is like a big brother to me and I just sense something but I don't know what it is. Please keep me posted."

Marron bit her lip reading Pan's text, she was also worried. Trunks never acted this way but here we are, both needing a break from each other. Marron looked up, hearing a knock on the other side of her bedroom door. "Hey you ok?" Su cautiously asked, hearing her friend mumble something. She barely left the cram bedroom except to grab ice cream out of the freezer or for a food delivery. Su bites her lip, she glanced at her watch and the Sunday afternoon plan to go to the movies with her family was quickly cancelled. She could not stand to see her friend like this, she went in for another knock just as the door swooshed open.

"Hey How are you?" Su chirped as Marron brushed aside her heading towards the fridge. She was wearing a pink taco emoji shirt with a pair of skimpy panties. Her hair was tied in a ponytail but in disarray. Marron propped open the fridge, grabbing the mayo, mustard, lunch deli meat, and pickles. She was hungry for a several layer sandwich. She tiptoed grabbing a large bag of Doritos on top of the kitchen cabinet pouring several chips in a large ceramic bowl. Marron remained subdued and silent.

"Maz, you gotta get out of this funk. I've never seen you like this. Talk to him, stop avoiding the inevitable." Su exacerbated, watching Marron slather copious amounts of mayo on thin slices of white bread.

"What do I say Su? How do you tell your best friend you couldn't handle his rage or his chaotic life." Marron snipped, taking a handful of chips, stuffing her mouth with loud smacks. The sweet chili Doritios her favorite cheesy goodness. She seemed unfathomed about her looks, or how she munched on the chips. She rubbed her cheesy hands on her pink shirt. Su rolled her dark eyes, "That's not what I'm talking about." Su took a seat at the kitchen counter, grabbing the stuff panda bear neatly tucked in the corner. She threw it at Maz who caught the bear in her grasp. She continued to chew the chips, raising a questioning brow at Su. "Share your feelings to the damn bear Maz." Su announced pointing at the strange looking panda. Maz bit her lip, griping her tiny nose bridge. Su being a kindergarten teacher typically uses methods to help kids express their feelings.

"Get it out already. If that was Trunks what would you say?" Su continued, leaning over the kitchen counter swiping the bag of chips and munching on the salty chips. She watched her friend very precisely waiting patiently.

"You are ridiculous Su." Marron whispered, tears wanting to form in the corner of her sapphire eyes. Marron took a seat on the barstool holding the bear by the fluffy abdomen. She stared at the strange looking Panda; the stuffed animal held a crooked smile with extra fluff around his abdomen. She felt like him, chunky and holding onto a strain of sanity with a crooked smile.

" I would tell him, …"She paused shyly glancing at Su who was smiling waving her hands for her to continue. Marron faced the bear sitting him upward on the kitchen faux granite counter.

"You are everything to me and my best friend. I'm worried about you…I'm…" Marron let a tear slip past her ducts. She closed her eyes, as her lips trembled.

"Come on Maz! This is so useful, Just express yourself." Su encouraged, trying to pull it out of her. -share to care bear- She anguished watching her friend slowly closing her eyes with frustration. She had been cooped up in her bedroom all week crying, the fiasco last week undeniable. There were only so many shark videos and ice cream gallons one could eat.

"I love him damn it, I kept telling myself he is my best friend but….but Su." Marron slapped her forehead on the kitchen counter throwing Cuddles across the room. Su ducked letting the bear slip past her head. Marron went into hysterics, hunch over, as she trembled. She gasped as the tears rolled down her cheeks. The clueless Saiyan tearing at her emotions. He just had to blow a gasket with his temper, but she said it, she didn't love Chester. She couldn't bring herself to say I love you. Instead, she did something so stupid she told him she needed a break. The strong Saiyan sent a care package the next day with a note "Take the week focus on you. Your BFF, Trunks."

She wanted to tear the note, she hated herself for this. He denied her showing up, or having anything to do with her this week. Yet, it was him that needed the break, he was losing his shit and everyone around him kept saying his energy was strange. Well no shit, the guy lived, breathed, slept, ate, shit, all CC. Who was going to stand up for him and his wellness. She was angry, and worried.

"Please tell him Maz!" Su grabbed her hands across the counter. She eyed her friend, "Maz your killing yourself feeling like this. Go to him, what's the worst that could happen."

Marron hysterically laughed as she wiped the corners of her swollen eyes. She sniffled the snot wanting to drip from her nasals., the worst really? "Su I could lose him." Maz feared.

Trunks was her everything, he was not a man who would commit. Of all the years she knew him he had a girlfriend for the record of a week. The relationship failed because she was only interested in his status, not him. Marron bit her lip, when suddenly the doorbell rang. The whistle tune loudly rang, and vibrated against the bare thin apartment walls. Su yelped, surprised by the interruption pulling her hands from Marron's grasp. Marron turned her head, hearing the doorbell ring again and a hard knock on the purple door. As suspected, she watches her friend grab her gun again and cautiously peek through the peephole. Marron swiped a napkin dabbing her teary eyes.

Su quirked a brow watching a strange blue hair woman stand there, she was pouting tightly holding her blue purse. She looked around in the hallway cautiously, she seemed lost. She started to dig in her purse looking for something, pulling out a piece of paper.

"Yes?" Su yelled through the door, watching the blue hair lady wave through the peephole. "I'm looking for a Muffs."

Su sighed, unsure who she was or what she wanted. "I'm sorry no Muffs here." Su announced as Marron picked up her head recognizing her nickname. She immediately ran towards Su hoping it was him as she peeked through the peephole seeing a flash of blue hair then recognizing Bra.

"Fuck I thought I had the right place. Thanks." Bra waved her hands, swinging her purse taking a few steps away. Marron pulled the door open suddenly; it was outrageously strange to see his sister here.

"Bra?" Marron asked, looking at her. The gold lock chain held a crack between the two ladies as Marron yanked it. The young mother looked tired; her eyes swollen with a sigh of relief finding Marron.

"I've been to three damn apartments, I swear." Bra entered the apartment brashly; Su took a step back quickly hiding her gun. She looked at Maz who waved her hand apologetically. The young Saiyan was eccentric with her entry but it was not done maliciously. It was Bra's character.

"Muffs we need to talk." Bra seriously spoke walking into the kitchen noticing an open wine bottle and an open bag of chips lying on the counter. She peered over finding a stuffed bear at the feet of a kitchen table tucked in the corner of the tiny apartment. She took in her surroundings, tiny but quaint was her best description she could think of. She took a seat at the kitchen counter grabbing the bag of chips munching on a few salty treats. Her nerves and anxiety through the roof.

"Bra what are doing here?" Marron brushed her hand through her loose ponytail, tightened it. She felt uncomfortably standing only in a pink taco shirt and underwear but Bra seemed unfathomed. Bra waved her hands "Where is your bedroom?" She asked peeking over to Su, who appeared confused. The dark brunette watching her every move. Bra waved her hand to her, with a quick flash of her pearly white teeth.

"Um I'm sorry Su this is Bra. She is Trunks' sister." Marron explained as Su extended her hand to the young lady. "Hey, yea the annoying little sister per my jerk of a brother." She giggled, brushing her blue hair nervously. -I shouldn't say such things- She anguished closing her eyes and suddenly cursing herself. She fidgeted nervously biting her lip. "Muffs we need to talk. Like I'm sorry about the other day." Bra's energy was chaotic as she waved her hands, suddenly grabbing more chips.

"Bra, what's wrong?" Marron now concerned, any Briefs family member quickly apologizing was a sign for concern. Bra swayed her hands burping the dorito's then went into her high speed explanations. The young blue-haired Saiyan's energy and excitement hard to keep up with. "We need to pack for you, and I need to tell Mom. Oh and of course you will understand we will pay you extra. Oh please forgive me, I was such a bitch. The V Bomb was extinguished immediately and of course Trunks will.."

Marron waved her hands dramatically so lost and confused. "Bra what the hell are you going on about? I took the week off and Trunks doesn't want to see me ok." Marron exacerbated, the Briefs always tugging her into their spiral nutty web. She survived just a few days before, their eccentric chaoticness came knocking at her door.

"You need to go to America with Trunks ASAP." Bra anguished rubbing her Doritos hands on her blue dress nervously. "You guys got something to drink besides wine?" She quickly opened the fridge rummaging through the cold contents finding a Pepsi cola popping the tab and gulping it. She felt overwhelmed, the cold soda quenching her thirst and nerves. The carbonation needed.

Marron gripped the bridge of her tiny nose frustrated. She couldn't face him, and on top of that traveling with him to America probably for some damn business matter. She didn't want to go back to America with many horrible memories involving her family. She sighed dramatically, but why was Bra here about this?

"Bra I'm sorry I can't. I need a break from business. Your brother and I had this huge fiasco and…." Marron couldn't finish her sentence when Bra gripped her by the shoulders. "It's not what you think Muffs."

"You need to marry my brother. I know it sounds crazy but if you don't he could lose everything. It's a fake marriage. Just trust me." Bra yelled, tugging the blonde into her bedroom.

"We need to pack you guys for America."
