Zeref was doing all that he could. He continued with his human experiments and such, searching for ways to bring Dragon-Man down. As he was working on something, Mard Geer came in.

"Sir, I just heard from some of our men." Mard Geer said. "Dragon-Man continues to thwart our plans. Those you have selected to handle your equipment can't keep it up anymore. They are just failures."

"If at first you don't succeed, try again." Zeref said as he was working with some chemicals. "Dragon-Man will get what's his eventually."

"I'm not sure I can wait any longer." Mard Geer said with his resentment towards Dragon-Man growing. "I still have a score to settle with him." Zeref took what he said into consideration. He looked over what he's made so far and put some thought into his next move. "Perhaps it is time I reunite with my long lost younger brother."

Natsu

Natsu flew the city in the middle of the night. He felt pretty good for the first time in a long time. He's got a new girlfriend and he's still kicking butt. Natsu landed down and looked around the city.

"Looks like things have been going pretty well." Natsu said.

"Sure do." Natsu turned around and saw Seduce was there.

"When did you get here?" Natsu asked as Seduce hugged him from behind.

"I'm always around." Seduce said. "You've been doing well lately? I don't really see you that often since you want to live a normal and boring life."

"Sorry, but I'm just not sure if I'm ready to take this off for you yet." Natsu said as he clutched his mask. "That's the one part where we differ. I'm not like you. I don't think I can be Dragon-Man the whole time. For now, you know me as Dragon-Man."

"Fine with me. It's this side of you I like." Seduce said. "I think the sense of a mystery makes this fun." She had him turn his head to her so that she could kiss him. Before, Seduce would have like jump straight to the fun parts of a relationship. Now, they're working on some compromises. "What do you say we go back to my place?"

"Hey now, don't push your luck with me." Natsu said. "You agreed to wait until I really was ready."

"Fine." Seduce said. "All I'm saying is that you better make our times together worth it." She gave him another kiss before she was on her way. Dating a superhero isn't easy, but Seduce is trying her best to make what she has with Natsu work. Natsu is doing the same and he's actually enjoying his time with her.

"Well, maybe I should call it a night." Natsu said as he spread his wings and took to the sky. He was on his way home, but he didn't realize that he was being hunted down. He was being followed without him even realizing it. Natsu flew around until he felt like something was wrong. When he turned around and looked at the sky...he didn't see a thing. "I could have sworn there was something there."

"There was." Natsu looked behind him and was tackled in the air. He kept getting beaten around until he was smashed right into the wall. "Miss me, Dragon-Man, or should I say Natsu Dragneel?" Natsu pulled himself together and saw he was faced with armor that was flying. Natsu recognized it and realized who was in there.

"Mard Geer?" Natsu said.

"It's been a long time. While I'm in this armor call me Demon King." Mard Geer said. He grabbed a hold of Natsu and tossed him to the streets, but Natsu was able to pull himself together and pulled himself up as he flew back in the air.

"I heard you bailed." Natsu said. "Where have you been hiding for all these years? Back under the rock you previously crawled out of?" Demon King flew at him as he tried to strike him with his claw, but Natsu flew up and avoided him. Natsu tried breathing fire at him, but Demon King flew around. He grabbed Natsu by the leg and smashed him against the roof. Demon King was going to strike him with his claw, but Natsu kicked him in the gut and under the chin to get him free. He moved away from Demon King and readied himself. "What are you up to this time? Going to blackmail more innocent people to do your dirty work."

"No plans this time. Consider it a message." Demon King said.

"Can I deny it?" Natsu asked. Demon King flew at him again. He tackled Natsu and the two of them kept fighting each other as they smashed into buildings and tried to get the edge over the other. The two of them kept flying around and kept smashing into buildings until Natsu finally kicked demon King away and he smashed into another building.

"You think you can keep fighting us?" Mard Geer questioned. "Do you really think you can defeat all of Tartaros?"

"I can and will if it means so many innocent lives don't have to be ruined." Natsu said. "You think you're making humanity better, but all you're really doing is destroying everything."

"Foolish boy. You know nothing." Demon King said as he pulled out a piece of the building. He threw it at Natsu, but Natsu moved out of the way. That was a mistake as it was going to crush innocent people.

"Not good." Natsu said. He acted quickly and breathed out an intense flame and turned it to dust. Demon King used that as an opportunity. He attacked him from behind and knocked him on a roof.

"You have yourself to blame for the pain and misery." Demon King said. "I came to you for help and all you did was crush my hopes to cure me of my illness."

"You still hold a grudge over that. It was too dangerous. It wouldn't have worked anyway." Natsu said. "You could have waited for further testing, but I learned it wouldn't have worked. It could have killed you."

"I was already dying, you idiot!" Demon King said. "What was I suppose to do?"

"Well, what does it matter now? That suit helped you. You are doing well in there, right?" Natsu asked.

"For now. This suit does help rid the body of illnesses, but it won't last." Mard Geer said. "My illness is still inside me. This suit is just prolonging it's effects. My prolonged suffering is all because of you!"

"Are you serious? I think you're been in that suit for too long." Natsu said. "Your brain isn't getting the oxygen it needs."

"Such childish talk." Natsu turned around and was met with someone he never met before. He was finally face-to-face with his own brother. "Hello, Dragon-Man. Do you mind if I call you, Natsu?" Natsu was shocked to hear his name come out like that.

"Who are you?" Natsu asked.

"You mean you really don't know who I am? I am your older brother. I am Zeref Dragneel." Natsu was quite shocked about that. He heard he had a brother a few years ago, but he knew nothing about him until now. "I also happen to be the one you're really looking for. I am the head of the entire Tartaros Company franchise."

"You?" Natsu said as he wasn't sure what to think about this.

"Aren't you the least bit happy to see your long lost brother?" Zeref asked.

"I would be, but you're saying you're the one in charge of Tartaros? How can that be?" Natsu said. "Tartaros destroyed our parents! They're gone because of that company! Not to mention so many innocent people have suffered because of them!"

"There's no reason to raise your voice." Zeref said.

"I think there is!" Natsu shouted. Natsu made it his mission to bring down Tartaros and he's now standing with the one in charge of everything. On top of that, it's his own brother. He certainly has mixed feeling about all of this. "Why? Why are you doing all this? Why does Tartaros make weapons and do human experiments."

"This might take some explaining." Zeref said. "I was a bright young man. Even when I was a child, I saw things differently than most people. I saw the darker side of the world while others saw the light. I was seeing the world as a desolate place caused by the foundations of humanity. That's why I created Tartaros."

"Wait. You created it? How? Tartaros has been around for years." Natsu said. "How could you have created it when you don't appear to be ten tears older than me."

"I was quite a gifted young man." Zeref said. "I could even remember and learn back when I was just a mere baby. The world is quite an unsettling place. The depravity men continues to escalate."

"What does that mean?" Natsu said.

"It means that human beings are weak creatures. They are weak in body, mind, and in soul." Zeref said. "There are those who damage the world, those who can't stop it. There are also those who won't even try. I've come to realize that humans are simply figures that make a depressing world."

"Have you lost it or something?" Natsu said as he wasn't understanding any of this.

"It's why I created this company. For this world to truly prosper, humans must change." Zeref said. "That's why Tartaros betters humanity."

"I'll admit the world isn't perfect, but you're talking pure nonsense and insanity." Natsu said.

"Perhaps, but you're simply too naïve to see the truth." Zeref said. Natsu doesn't know what his brother went through, but it must have been something awful that messed him up. "I'm simply going doing what is best for the world. The natural order for the world is disorder. The answer to bring true nature to this world is for humans to be inhuman."

"Look, I don't really have a clue as to what you're talking about. At the moment, I don't really care." Natsu said. "All I know is that you people are hurting so many. You're really my brother, right? Then, what happened with our parents."

"What happened to them was their own doing. Our parents' lives are a small price to pay." Zeref said. Natsu couldn't believe his brother had the nerve to say that.

"How could you? Those are our parents!" Natsu shouted. "There's no way you're my brother! This has to be some sort of twisted joke! I don't understand anything of what you're talking about!"

"Believe what you want. It's irrelevant." Zeref said. "It was father's own fault. He tried to run when his research proved to be quite useful. His research would have helped my plans, but he took everything with him. He also put a generic lock on the draco lizards. I thought his DNA alone would only give us access. That's why I had all the lizards he experimented on disposed of. Of course, that was a poor error in judgement. Look at you."

"My father's research was suppose to be used to cure diseases. Tartaros wanted to turn it into a biological weapon." Natsu said. "Father went against all of it, he gave me away to protect me, all because he knew how dangerous Tartaros was. All of this is inhuman."

"Exactly. That's the point." Zeref said. Natsu couldn't take it anymore. He was filled with confusion, rage, anger, and much more. All he does know is that Tartaros must pay for all the horrible things he's done.

"That's it!" Natsu shouted as he tried attacking his own brother, but Demon King flew in and grabbed Zeref and took to the air. "You really think you can run from me?!"

"I'm not running. We'll face each other soon, but now is not the time." Zeref said. "It was believed that the draco lizards father experimented on were useless when he died. Now, I know of you. I don't need you alive to examine your body to understand how your powers work. Your days are numbered, my brother."

"You've really lost your mind." Natsu said.

"Say what you will, but that time will becoming." Zeref said before Demon King flew off and took Zeref with him. As for Natsu, he was all kinds of confused.

"This doesn't make sense. He thinks humans are what's wrong with the world?" Natsu said. "Is he saying he killed my parents for his goal of messing the world up?" Natsu didn't understand a thing about any of this. He does know one thing. Tartaros has to be brought down for good. If he has to fight his own brother to do that...he will.
