When Jasmine returned to Roanapur with Revy and Rock, she couldn't quite place her finger on it but something about Rock seemed different, whilst she was busy thinking about what had changed about Rock she didn't notice Revy walking up behind her and wrap her arms around her in a loving embrace as she smiled and said, "Ah, it's good to be back in Roanapur again, wouldn't you agree, Jasmine?"

And hearing Revy's voice shook Jasmine from her thoughts a little as she smiled back at Revy and replied, "Oh uh yeah, home sweet home in Roanapur. I missed this place so much!" Revy then perked a brow at Jasmine as she asked,

"You feeling ok short fuse? We've been home almost two minutes and already you're acting weird."

Jasmine then smiled and gave her lover a kiss on her lips before she broke the kiss as she said, "I'm fine Revy, guess I'm just still feeling a little jet lagged. And...mostly trying to forget about what happened in Japan. I'm with you now and that's all what matters to me at the moment, I imagine Dutch has some jobs for us so let's get to the office shall we?" and Revy returned the kiss to Jasmine as a smirk appeared on her face as she replied,

"Well, drinking is sometimes the best when you are trying to forget, I'm also still a little jet lagged from our flight so I say heading to the office sounds like a great idea as we can both get some rest before Dutch needs us for our next job."

Before Revy then took Jasmine's hand into her own as they began walking from the airport to the Lagoon office, where Benny and Dutch were waiting to greet them.

Later…

When both Revy and Jasmine walked into the Lagoon office holding hands with Rock following behind them, Jasmine smiled as she waved and said, "Hey we're back." and Benny smiled and grabbed a few cans of beer from the fridge and tossed some to Revy and Jasmine as he replied,

"Welcome home guys. How was Japan?"

Revy cracked open her can and took a sip of her beer before she smirked as she said, "It was alright I guess, but I think Jasmine might disagree with me a little on that. Also we could both use a few hours of shut eye before our next job." and Dutch took a sip from his can of beer and perked a brow as he asked,

"Why? Something happen to Jasmine in Japan?"

Jasmine then took a deep breath and was about to speak when Revy shook her head at her as she said softly, "Let me take care of this, save you having to relive painful memories." and Jasmine just nodded her head as like a silent thank you to Revy, before Revy then turned to Dutch as she said to him,

"Let's just say a ghost from Jasmine's past reared their ugly head and tried to kill her, all so they could claim some fuckin' bounty that has been put on Jasmine's head. And the poor girl had to do what she had to do to survive. and this 'ghost' I'm referring to used to be Jasmine's former lover and they were a real piece of shit."

Dutch then looked at Jasmine before he looked back at Revy as he said, "Fuck, well we better hope word of this bounty that's been put on Jasmine doesn't reach here. or else the whole city will be out looking for Jasmine and this will turn into one big god damn warzone." before he smiled a little at Revy as he added, "She's lucky she has someone like two hands to watch her back."

Then Jasmine smiled at Dutch and giggled a little as she said, "You're damn right I am lucky to have someone like Revy to watch my back, I'd take a bullet for her anytime, and I'm sure Revy feels the same about me. but right now I think I'm gonna have a little nap before our next job." and Dutch let out a small chuckle as he replied,

"I'll let you know when our next job is Jasmine, for now though you and Revy can get some shut eye. You both earned it."

So Jasmine nodded her head as she made her way to her room with Revy following shortly behind her, when they got to their room Jasmine sa on her bed and opened her can of beer before taking a sip before scrunching up her face a little in disgust as she said, "Urgh, this stuff tastes like piss! but...this will do for now I suppose, but the next time we go to the Yellow flag I'm getting myself blackout drunk. The less I remember of my asshole of an ex boyfriend the better."

Revy then went to sit next to her girlfriend on her bed and wrapped an arm around her comfortingly as she said, "I get how you feel short fuse, I would be angry too if someone I loved made me believe they were dead for years. But I don't think making yourself blackout drunk will do ya any good, sure it will make ya forget for a while but eventually those painful memories you were trying to bury will return. The best way to truly move on is by making new memories with someone who makes you happy and eventually you will forget Jason was ever a part of your life."

Jasmine then rested her head on Revy's shoulder and yawned a little as he replied, "I suppose you're right Revy, you make me more happy than I had any right to be before, even if I did try to assassinate one of your friends when we first met. Let's just get some rest for now." and Revy just smiled as she laid her lover down before laying next to her and smiled as she looked up at the ceiling and thought to herself, "My fucking god Jasmine. You sure are a complex puzzle, but I'll be damned if I didn't say I enjoy figuring you out."

Elsewhere…

A couple of small children appeared at a bar with a Tax collector, the bar tender looked at the children who each had snow white hair before he then pulled out a jar with some money inside and placed it on the counter and the Tax collector picked up the jar and emptied its contents into a case before closing it, one of the children then looked up at the Tax collector as they said to him, "Hey mister, would you like to play with us?"

The Tax collector looked at the children before he replied, "Look I don't have time to be distracted by a couple of brats like you. Run along and find someone else to play with you." and one of the children then took out an axe as they looked at the Tax collector and said,

"That's a shame mister, because we really want to play with you."

Before the Tax collector then took out his gun from his jacket pocket and aimed it at one of the children as he growled, "I'm not afraid to shoot a couple of brats like you! So just back off!" then the child with the axe swung it and hit the Tax collector in his stomach causing him to drop to the floor as blood poured out, he hazily looked up at the child that hit him with the axe now with a few drops of blood over their face as he said, "Just...what the hell...are you brats?"

Then the child with the rifle looked at the child with the axe and smiled as they said, "Let's bring this bad man back with us so that we can play with him some more, Fratele Meu." and the child with the axe looked back at the child with the rifle and smiled as they replied,

"That's a great idea, Sora Mea."

The two children then took the Tax collector and dragged him out of the bar and towards their car, leaving a trail of blood behind, before the child with the rifle then smiled at the bar tender as they said, "Thank you for having us mister." before leaving in the car that was parked outside the bar.

Later…

Benny and the others were driving through the streets of Roanapur towards the Yellow flag, when he saw a few cars driving past him as he said while keeping his eyes on the road, "That's a lot of mob bosses that went past us, something big must be going down." and Jasmine perked a brow as she replied,

"An emergency meeting maybe? That's the only reason I could think of why so many mob bosses would be out right now."

And Benny nodded his head as he said, "That does sound logical, I wonder what could be so big that has the attention of every crime boss in the city?" and Dutch said while he was sitting next to Benny,

"It's none of our business for now, unless we are given a contract that makes it our business to know. I suggest we all keep our heads low for now just to be safe, am I clear?"

Then Jasmine nodded her head as she replied, "Crystal. We keep low and out of trouble, whatever is going on is none of our business unless it's our job to know." before the group then continued towards the Yellow flag.

When they arrived at the Yellow flag, Jasmine and everyone walked inside and walked up to the bar where Bao was wiping down a glass and smiled as he saw Jasmine and said to her, "Hello sweetheart, what can I get you?" and Jasmine smiled back at Bao before she replied,

"What's the strongest drink you have? I'm in the mood to forget."

Bao then placed a bottle of Whiskey on the counter as he said, "This is about as strong as I'm legally allowed to sell here, why? Something bad happen to you?" and Jasmine took the bottle of Whiskey in her hand as she replied,

"Thanks Bao, this will do. and...I don't really wanna talk about it."

Revy then looked at Bao as she sat next Jasmine at the bar and said to him, "She's kinda had a shitty week, so I just thought a few drinks might help her have a good time." and Bao just nodded his head in understanding as he replied,

"Well, you of all people know me by now Revy, I may not understand what's going on but everyone has a story and I'm happy to lend an ear if someone wants to talk."

Jasmine then poured herself a glass Whiskey and swirled it in her hand for a few minutes before taking a sip before Revy turned to her and said, "I thought ya said Whiskey is too strong for ya. You sure you gonna be able to handle that? Gotta say though it is nice to see ya switching things up and trying something new." and Jasmine looked at her half empty glass for a minute before she looked back at Revy and feintly smiled as she replied,

"Whiskey is a little too strong for me, and I don't care if this makes me drunk quicker than Gin. Right now Revy all I care about is forgetting what happened in Japan."

Revy then smiled at Jasmine and gave her a peck on her cheek as she said, "Well, don't let me stop ya short fuse. Just...make sure you don't over do it, ok?" and Jasmine blushed a little and smiled a little as she replied,

"Yeah, I'll try to take it easy on the drinks Revy, I love you."

Just then Eda leaned on the counter and smiled at Jasmine, she was wearing a shirt with some shorts and some sunglasses compared to her nun's outfit she is usually wearing as she said to Jasmine, "Hey there tiger, you mind pouring me a drink?" and Revy scowled at Eda as she said to her,

"Eda, I know your night is complete until ya have someone banging you so why don't you just fuck off."

And Eda just smiled at Revy as she said to Jasmine, "See that sweetheart? she's too grumpy for you, why don't you leave this wild boar and let a real woman show you a good time." before Revy got off her seat and yelled at Eda,

"That does it whore, meet me out the back with your pistol drawn and we will settle this!"

But Jasmine didn't even look at Eda as she took another sip of her Whiskey and deadpanned, "Bitch, you already know me and Revy are together, so make your point already or else I'll let Revy give you a new asshole to shit from." and Eda frowned a little at Jasmine as she said,

"Geeze, who pissed in your cheerios? You're usually a little more exciting than Romeo. Besides a little birdie told me that all the mob bosses in the city have put out a bounty on a couple of kids who murdered someone last night, and they're offering a huge reward to anyone who can take out these kids."

Jasmine then looked at Eda as she replied, "How much are we talking? and has anyone taken this bounty yet. For the record I've had a bit of a rough week." and Eda smirked at both Jasmine and Revy as she said,

"Well, last I heard the reward was roughly $50,000, and the reward is so big that even mercenaries from outside the city are travelling here to try and claim the reward, they even have a little stakeout area."

Revy then looked at Eda curiously as she said, "Where is this stakeout area supposed to be? and how many people are gonna be there?" and Eda smirked at Revy as she replied,

"Apparently there is supposed to be roughly 50 people turning up at this stakeout area in one of the rooms of the Ramshack Inn."

Then Jasmine asked curiously, "When is this stakeout supposed to be happening, Eda?" and Eda smiled at Jasmine as she replied,

"It's apparently going down tonight. If we want a chance at that bounty then we had better leave now."

Jasmine then finished her glass of Whiskey and slammed it on the counter before she got up from her seat and turned to Revy and Eda as she said with a slight smirk on her face, "Well, what are we waiting for ladies? Let's move." and Revy smiled at Jasmine as she replied,

"Guess we're heading to this stakeout area at Ramshack Inn. But aren't ya worried about that bounty from Japan, short fuse?"

And Jasmine shook her head as she said with a smirk, "Not in the slightest, I say let them try and take down the angel of death." before Revy, Jasmine and Eda then left the Yellow flag and walked towards the Ramshack Inn.
