Run and Hide

Fantine and Cornelia shuddered in a corner.

"I don't want to die," Cornelia said, on the verge of tears.

Fantine wrapped her cord around her "shoulder". "We'll get through this."

Cornelia returned the gesture. "Or at least I hope we do."

"We don't know where she is," Asimov continued. "Or where she'll strike next." He looked at the crowd. "Be on your guard for a green Hitachi drill."

"She has got to be around here somewhere," Mish-mash added.

Igor nodded. "The best bet is to find a hiding place. Somewhere that she cannot get to."

There was a mad dash of appliances leaving the game room. Debbie opened the cabinet door. She tapped her chin with her plug.

"Where's a good place to look?" she asked herself.

She slithered out of the cabinet and out of the kitchen.

"The living room?" Debbie approached the room. A huge Vizio TV scanned the room.

"Rogue drill? Not on my watch!" He said.

"Rogue drill?" Two other voices answered. "If we see her, we'll let you know, Vizio."

Debbie inched down the hall. "Too many witnesses."

Another room caught her attention. "The Bathroom perhaps?" She smiled.

In all the chaos, a small alarm clock scampered down the hall. He ran into a roadblock.

Levi loomed over him.

"Going somewhere?" He asked.

Oracle smiled. "You might be what we need?"

Aether picked Alex up by the cord, suspending him in the air. "How hard is it to take this apart?"

A door slammed in the distance.

"Debbie's not alone," Asimov whispered.
