Chapter 5: Toad Sage Jr (2/4)

"No,no,no! That's not what happened!"

"Yes it did."

Sometime after the bell test, Seiyru decided to take Hinata to eat somewhere, since she didn't had any breakfast. Sasuke decided to go along, in order to figure it out how exactly Seiyru used water release without any water around.

On their way, they ended up bumping into the other recently formed teams. Which Seiyru decided to invite them all to come along. They all decided to visit Yakiniku Q.

Currently, Kiba was telling them about their test, which was escaping a very powerful Genjutsu that Kurenai put them on. Which Kiba was humorously recounting how easily it was to trick Sakura, which made her yell Sasuke's name in desperation.

Sasuke, who was sitting besides Shikamaru, just frowned at that. This stupid girl just gets more pathetic each time I have the inconvenience of encountering her. He thought in deep annoyance.

STUPID KIBA! Inner Sakura complained.

"What was your guys's test?" Seiyru asked Ino. Who just looked away embarrassed.

Unknowingly to the Senju heir, she was still thinking about their encounter on the shop. Which is pretty evident due to the flower that was still on her ear.

I guess she did liked my gift. Seiyru thought happily. She does adorable when she blushes.

"Our Sensei made us come up with a strategy to recover an item from a location filled with traps." Chõji explained before devouring his portion.

"It was drag." Shikamaru complained as he drank a cup of water.

"Well, I'm glad that everyone managed to pass the test." Seiyru told everyone. Then he turned his gaze to Ino. "So, how was the delivery?" He asked her.

"Huh?" Ino was bit distracted. "Oh, the truck arrived soon after you left the store." She answered him.

Seiyru just smiled in response before speaking again. "I didn't saw what the flowers inside those boxes were like, but if they were half as lovely as this one, I'm sure the customers were satisfied." He commented as he touched the blue flower on Ino's ear. "Though, they will probably not be as lovely without your lovely eyes to complement them." Ino blushed even more after he said that and softly touched her cheek.

That of course, called the attention of everyone on the table.

Damn, he's good. Kiba thought as he was impressed with Seiyru being able to make one of Sasuke's biggest fan-girls blush like that.

Shikamaru just raised a brow at that. She's quite troublesome, you don't know what you're getting yourself into Seiyru.

What are they talking about? Hinata thought in a slight worry as the two seem to be really close.

Chõji didn't pay attention and started to steal the rest of the meat while everyone was distracted.

This is all a waste of time. Sasuke thought in annoyance as he's not exactly enjoying the company.

HA! INO PIG IS BLUSHING FOR STUPID SENJU, WHAT KIND OF IDIOT WOULD BLUSH FOR HIM WHILE SASUKE IS AROUND!? Inner Sakura yelled as she saw Ino blushing when Seiyru touched her cheek.

"Oh, speaking of flowers." Seiyru stood up from his table and wrote something on his seat. "I'll be back, don't steal all the meat." He told everyone, especially Chõji.

Everyone made a very confused face. Which became way more confused when he made a Seal of Confrontation and disappeared right in front of their eyes.

"What the hell?! Where did he go?" Kiba was quick to react to Seiyru's sudden disappearance. "Woof!" Akamaru barfed in conjunction.

He did that again, just what jutsu is that? Sasuke thought in deep frustration as he couldn't figured it out what was the jutsu that he just use as he couldn't really find anything about it on the search that he made.

A few minutes passed by in a pretty awkward silence as no one knew what to say about the situation. Chõji unfortunately didn't do what Seiyru said and stole most of the meat while everyone was distracted.

But then, out of nowhere, the white haired boy reappeared on the same spot that he disappeared, surprising everyone. He was carrying a bouquet of flowers. "Sorry, it took longer than I expected." He apologized. But before anyone could question him on what he just did. Seiyru turned to Hinata and handed her the bouquet. Which had several different flowers on it. "I didn't know which one you liked so I pick a mixed one."

The Hyūga Kunoichi widened her eyes and her face became unnaturally red as usual. "F-for m-m-me?!" She asked in disbelief.

"Yes," The Senju Heir said with a smile. "I remember that you mentioned that you said that you're hobby is pressing flowers, so..."

"T-thank you!" Hinata was quick to thank him for the gift and picking the beautiful bouquet from him.

Ironically, that caused a certain blond haired girl that was sitting next to him to feel a bit of jealousy. Why do I just get a single flower and she gets that beautiful bouquet?! Ino thought in annoyance, not realizing that she works on a flower shop and it wouldn't make much sense to buy her flowers. Wait! What am I saying, I don't care if he gets me flowers or not!" She internally denied her jealousy towards Hinata's gift.

Unfortunately for Ino, a certain pink haired girl decided to add fuel to the fire. "What's wrong Ino Pig, jealous that Senju didn't got you a gift?" Sakura decided to ask her. NOT EVEN AN IDIOT LIKE HIM IS INTERESTED IN YOU, HAG! Inner Sakura yelled.

Before Ino could yell a response back, Seiyru actually spoke up first. "Oh, yeah, I almost forgot." He reached at one of the pouches on his utility belt and pulled out something. "I thought you wouldn't really want flowers, so I got this for you instead." On Seiyru's hand, there was a pair of very beautiful and expensive looking earrings.

No way! Those are the ones I was saving up to buy! Ino quickly recognized them as the ones that she was actually looking to buy. They were pretty expensive so she has been saving for months now. "How did you know I wanted those earrings?" She couldn't help but ask.

Seiyru had a confused look. "I didn't, I just picked the one I thought it would look the best on you." That was really a lie, actually his father once told him that, if he ever had a doubt on which gift to buy for a woman, always go for the most expensive one you can find. For someone with horrendous luck with woman, he gives pretty good advice on them.

Luckily, his response worked well enough as Ino cheeks became red at what he said.

DAMMIT! THOSE EARRINGS ARE BEAUTIFUL. Inner Sakura yelled in frustration as she was envious of Ino's gift.

"How did you managed to buy these things so quickly?" Suddenly, they heard someone that barely said a word since they arrived. That one was Sasuke. I need to know what he did. He thought.

"I went back to my apartment, and from there I went to a flower shop to get that bouquet and then went to another store to get the earrings, before coming back here." Seiyru explained.

"But, how did you that?" This time, Kiba was the one to ask. "You just disappeared and then reappeared out of nowhere." He pointed out with Akamaru nodding at what he said.

"I used Flying Thunder God Technique." He told them.

I never heard of that technique before. Sasuke thought.

What is that?" Kiba asked.

"It's a space–time ninjutsu created by the second Hokage." Seiyru started to explain before standing up and picking his seat up. "Basically, it instantly teleport to any place that you leave this mark on."

WHAT?! That was Sasuke instant reaction when he heard Seiyru's response.

After a short explanation about how the technique works due to Kiba being curious. The group of friends finished eating and all of them left the place together. All of them decided to accompany each other home. Or almost all of them, as Sasuke was just following them in hopes of finding out more about the Flying Thunder God Technique, as it was a technique that would prove extremely useful for him.

Hinata was walking besides Seiyru, hugging the beautiful bouquet that she gave it to him. Seiyru is so nice. She thought as she really appreciated the gift.

Ino on the other hand, was walking as far away from Seiyru as possible. I can't believe he brought the earrings for me. Should I have not accepted, I mean they are pretty expensive. But they're so pretty. She was very conflicted about the gift that she just received.

As they all kept on walking together, Seiyru suddenly stopped.

"What's wrong?" Shikamaru, who was walking behind Seiyru and besides Chõji, asked.

Seiyru had a stoic expression on his face, before pointing at something. He pointed at a hot spring that everyone turned their attention to.

"What about it?" Shikamaru asked him.

"A little up." He told him.

Shikamaru, alongside everyone else, looked up. Only to actually see someone spying on the hot spring.

"What the!?" Sakura, who was walking in a very inappropriate distance behind Sasuke, spoke. "Is that pervert spying on the bath?!"

"Yup." That was Seiyru's response.

The Senju Heir then proceed to start searching for something to throw at the pervert in question.

Oh, look at that wonderful butt. The Pervert in question was none other than Jiraiya himself. Who decided to make a stop while he was on his way to his son's apartment. The stop was for research purposes for his next book, of course, as he was taking notes as he looked at the woman there.

Suddenly, a very beautiful young enters the bath, wearing only a towel. Oh, that one is perfect for one of the main characters. Jiraiya thought in deep anticipation as he observes as the woman starts to unfold her towel. Yes! Yes! Ye-

Unfortunately, for Jiraiya, before he could partake at the wonderful sight of that woman's naked body. He felt something really heavy hitting him, which made him loose his balance and roll down the roof of the hot spring and hit hard on the ground. "AAHHH!" The Toad Sage yelled in pain. What the hell was that?! He thought in frustration. Until he stood up and saw a familiar face standing in front of him.

"Hey," The familiar face was his son, who tossed a vase on him. "Guess the contact took longer than you expected." He assumed.

"Yes, it did." Jiraiya replied while taking the dirt off his clothes. "Couldn't you wait just ten seconds more?"

"So a poor girl would get dishonored by having the image of her naked body memorized on your head?" He asked with a stoic face.

"Umm... S-seiyru?" Suddenly, Hinata called Seiyru while everyone was standing there with confused looks.

Does he know this pervert? Ino thought.

Is it just me, or there's some resemblance between the two. Shikamaru thought as he scratched his head.

We should beat up this guy. Kiba thought as he was the one the found the vase that Seiyru threw on him.

"Oh sorry, umm... everyone... this is my father, Jiraiya, also known as the Toad Sage." Seiyru lazily introduced his father to his friends.

All of them reacted differently to that introduction.

This perverted guy is a Legendary Sannin?" Sasuke thought in pure disbelief. And he trained my father?

SO STUPID SENJU IS THE SON OF A PERVERT, HE'S PROBABLY ONE AS WELL! Inner Sakura thought.

This creepy old pervert is his father? Ino thought in confusion. How could someone so handsome come out o-... Wait!? What am I thinking?

Does Seiyru and his father not get along? Hinata thought as she was a bit surprised when Seiyru made his father fell so hard into the ground.

Shikamaru and Chõji didn't really react. Chõji was busy eating a bag of chips and Shikamaru really wanna to take nap.

"Father, this are my new friends, we all graduated together from the Academy." He introduced everyone else. "Did you speak to grandpa?" Seiyru quickly asked.

"I did, I spoke with Kakashi and the council as well." Jiraiya informed him.

"Did you informed them of my capabilities? Because apparently they were really curious about that." Seiyru asked.

"The most important parts but I left some details out, we can't have them know about your blo-" Jiraiya was speaking before he was interrupted.

"Dad!" Seiyru called him out, signaling that his friends were listening to their conversation. "We should talk at my apartment."

"Good idea." Jiraiya replied.

Seiyru quickly turned to his friends. "Thanks everyone for this wonderful time," He thanks everyone. "I need to discuss something with my father, so I'll see you guys some other time."

After saying goodbye to his friends, Seiyru and his father made their way to his apartment. He prepared some tea and the two sat down on a table. Where Jiraiya explained the situation to him.

"So... You found uncle Minato's wife?" That was Seiyru's first question.

"I think so, the contact that I went to meet after dropping you here, told me that he saw a girl matching her description." Jiraiya explained to Seiyru before drinking his tea.

"Where?" Seiyru asked as he drank as well.

"At Kusagakure." Jiraiya answered him.

Seiyru made a surprised expression. "Why would she be there, that village has a terrible reputation." Village Hidden in the Grass was infamous for being one of the most poorly kept villages around.

"Maybe is a cover or something, I'll have to go there to check out if it's really her." Jiraiya explained. "And you're coming with me."

Seiyru was surprised by that. "Wait, what?" He asked in confusion. "I just became a Genin, I'm supposed to start doing missions tomorrow."

"I am aware of that, but I won't be coming back to the village for a while after this." Jiraiya explained. "So this will be the last chance you'll get to learn that technique you wanted me to teach you."

Oh, that's right. Seiyru remembered. It was the technique that his mother used as a trap to trick him into cutting his long hair. "Okay, but there's still the fact that I'm supposed to start doing missions tomorrow." He mentioned.

"Don't worry, the old man will mark this as a secret mission for you." Jiraiya explained. As Hiruzen thought it help, so Seiyru won't be held back.

"Oh, if that's the case."

Unknowingly for both father and son however. Someone was actually listening to their conversation through a small device hidden on Seiyru's apartment. That someone, was a certain gray haired individual. Seiyru will leave the village, it's the opportunity that Orochimaru was looking forward to. And they will be searching for the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox. Kabuto thought as he listened in to the conversation.

"When do we leave?" Seiyru asked his father.

"It's getting late so, we'll leave first thing in the morning." Jiraiya informed him.

I better inform Orochimaru immediately. Kabuto thought as he stopped listening in to their conversation and started to make his way in order to inform Orochimaru of his discoveries.

"Can you at least tell me the name of this so called technique that you'll teach me?" Seiyru asked as he was very curious.

Jiraiya made a grin. "It's a little technique called... Rasengan."
