Donut was a pretty tolerant person. He could take the ridicule from his team on the daily for his unique personality. He could handle near-death experiences from the Blues. He was even able to put up with the constant bullshit evasion of romantic feelings his team displayed around their OBVIOUS interests (not Donuts fault Grif couldn't handle the truth).

But considering the fact that regarding this week he was already a little miffed with that Tex lady for how she had been behaving around the canyon (also because Sarge had given him super important orders to be angry with her), and with Tucker for taking her side, AND with Grif who had been taking up the bases only couch. Donut really didn't appreciate it, when all or a sudden, a pelican dropped directly on top of him.

The aforementioned pelican that all but crushed the light-red armored soldier happened in possibly the most ironic way. Donut, Simmons, and Grif had been standing around in the middle of the canyon discussing the 'plan' with Caboose and Tucker. Admittedly they were more just discussing the plan with Tucker, as Caboose was barely paying attention.

"-so as soon as that pelican lands we are booking it out of this canyon." Tucker finished explaining, Donut was sure he looked proud of himself behind his visor.

"So let me get this straight," Simmons asked who sounded a little more than a little annoyed, "We're gonna get on some pelican, follow some crazy lady to some unknown place, all because she promised it'd make sense later? Forgive me if I call absolute bullshit."

There was a deep silence in the air filled with pure tension, up until Tucker seemed to concede and let out a long sigh.

"I know this sounds like crap guys-"

"Putting it mildly there buddy." Grif interrupted, earning him what Donut was sure was a glare behind Tucker's visor.

"-I know that we have our differences. Honestly I'm not too trusting of Tex either. But somethings going on here. All this shit came out of the blue, isn't that the slightest bit strange?"

"Yeah! It does seem like a cliche start to an action story. Things kind of just kick off."

Tucker gave what Donut interpreted as a look of gratefulness but of course, visor, so he couldn't be sure.

"Point is, all this is coming out of nowhere, there is some reason behind it and if we want to find out we need to listen to Tex." Tucker crossed his arms awaiting the others' responses.

"I agree with Tucker." Caboose spoke up,

"Eh, fuck it." Grif shrugged halfheartedly,

"I think it'll be a fun experience. Long and hard for sure!" Donut voiced his opinion although it looked like it was received a little less well.

"Right. Well we should tell Sarge so we can get him on board." Grif and Simmons turned to leave but Donut asked suddenly,

"Wait, when is this pelican gonna get here?"

It was at this exact moment that irony picked the prime time to strike, and from out of the sky a Pelican smashed into the earth and flattened the red soldier.
This was quickly followed by horrified scream from Caboose and a shocked silence from everyone else.
Then the door to the Pelican dropped and out stepped a thin looking purple armored man carrying a medical case.

"Oh my god, oh god, oh crap," The purple armored one turned to the inside of the Pelican, "Kaikaina you maniac! You crushed someone!"

Grif suddenly stiffened at the mention of the name and then stiffened more when a yellow armored girl stepped out next to the purple one.

"Poor landing, my bad Doc." She shrugged her shoulders.

"YOUR BAD IS RIGHT," Doc practically shrieked, he turned quickly to the blues, "Hey you guys! Can you help me lift this?"

Caboose volunteered almost immediately, Simmons offered what help he could, and Doc chanted at them to keep it up. Grif and Tucker however were busy staring at the yellow-clad female. Tucker wasted no time trying to turn on the charm.

"Hey baby, the names Tucker. What about you?" He gave his best finger guns, and his cheeky-ass grin could be seen even behind the visor.

However it was entirely likely the grin was promptly wiped off his face when Grif rammed his fist full force into the side of Tuckers head and knocked him backwards. The blue held his head in pain before angrily whirling on the orange sim trooper.

"WHAT THE HELL MAN!" Tucker exclaimed at Grif who was standing looking filled with the rage of gods.

"DON'T FLIRT WITH MY SISTER!" Grif screamed at the blue.

"SISTER?!" Tucker screeched at an octave higher than usual.

The shouts of course attracted attention and it wasn't long before Tex, Church, and Sarge were on the scene. Tex of course had a near meltdown when she saw the crashed Pelican.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO!"

"Kaikaina here was flying like a fool ma'am!" Doc commented from his spot dragging out the injured looking Donut, who was almost comically halfway stuck in the ground.

"YOU IDIOTS! WE NEEDED THE PELICAN!" Tex looked like she was going to kill someone.

"Well I guess the plans a bust then, oh well!" Grif chuckled with a lazy shrug.

Tex suddenly tried to lunge at the orange clad man but was halted by Church wrapping his arms around both shoulders to restrain her. He held her there for a few seconds but almost instantly she stopped struggling. Once she had calmed down Church released his grip and turned to Doc.

"You're the doctor right?" He asked,

"Yes my name is-"

"Good come with me Doc." Church then turned on his heels and began making his way back to the blue base. Doc sighed as he followed,

"Why does everyone keep calling me that?" wondered the purple medic aloud,

This left most of the blue and red team standing in the open field next to a broken Pelican. Tex looked around the little crowd.

"Right. Red. Sergeant."

"It's Sarge to you ma'am." Sarge grumbled, Tex looked like she was physically restraining herself from trying to hurt him.

"Right. Sarge, go and get that robot of yours. Caboose, go find Sheila for me okay?" Caboose went instantly but Sarge lingered for a moment.

"Why," He asked, suspicion lacing every inch of his voice, "So you dirty blues can steal him for your own purposes?!"

"So he can fix the goddamn Pelican," Tex growled, "I have an idea that might just work and get us the fuck out of here. So go get the robot."

Sarge muttered to himself before departing to find Lopez. Tex sighed and crossed her arms. Getting these idiots out of the canyon proved to be a more difficult task every single day.
