A/N: Most of the caractères and plot belongs to J.K Rowling.
It was now mid-November and along with it came the snow. The students were all in good moods, well except the students who didn't like snow. Harry was currently with Hermione and Neville and they had decided that they were going to visit Hagrid, it had been a while since they had actually spent time with the gentle giant. They had gone to him about Fluffy but he hadn't told them anything special except for a name which Harry didn't know: Nicholas Flamel. He'd asked Neville and Hermione if they knew anything about him but Hermione had heard of him but that was about it, but Neville however, knew that he had invented something which could be classed as dangerous but what the thing was, he couldn't remember. So naturally, they decided to go to the library and do some research. They had spent a lot of time in the library recently, Harry looking up on duelling and wizarding customs, Neville was looking over Herbology books while Hermiome had already started studying for the exams. Now however, they had something else to look up. They wanted to know what was under the trap door, not because they planned on going down but because they were curious as to why a beast like that would be in a school like Hogwarts.
It was only after a couple of ,weeks did they find something when they were doing their homework. Hermione had finished before the other two and started looking again, and just when she was going to stop and start studying for the exams she found a chocolate frog card. It was of Dumbledore and behind it, it said that Dumbledore had worked with the famous alchemist Nicholas Flamel. She rushed to tell her two friends and they stopped doing their homework, it could wait a hit longer. They went looking for a book on alchemy and again, they turned into a dead end. He wasn't in any of the books. They had considered asking for permission to go into the restricted section but for that you needed a valid excuse and they didn't think that trying to find out who Nicholas Flamel is wasn't the best approach. They figured that they would have to come up with a reason to go inside hut they'd have to work on that.
It was coming up to the Christmas holidays, there was currently, only one week remaining and Dumbledore was in a bit of a conundrum. He didn't know if he should give Harry his Cloak back. After all he had been searching for the Hallows when he was younger along with Grindelwald but that was in the past he told himself. Then a part of his brain told him 'Yes but now we have two pieces, we're only missing the resurrection stone and then, we could be Master of Death'. He fought against that part of his mind, that was old Dumbledore, now he was Leader of the Light, he had a status to uphold, he had to give it back, plus it would gain Harry's trust.
Harry's trust was crucial in the future especially if he was correct in his assumption that Vold, emort made more than the Horcrux in Harry's head after all, Voldemort himself didn't even know about it to the best of his knowledge. He needed Harry's sacrifice later on, it was fo r the Greater Good. 'No, you've left that behind, it's part of your past, it's your lust for those artefacts that led to the death of Ariana. She would want you to give it to the boy, it is his by blood after all'. Now Dumbledore was more confused than ever. He had half a mind to keep it and the other half to give it back. He would have to ponder it further, but right now, he had some work to do, after all he was headmaster. And with that he started his work, but not after popping a lemon drop in his mouth.
Daphne was confused, she liked home, she really did but Hogwarts was even better, it felt more like home than her own home. She didn't know why but apparently a lot of people thought the same as her. She didn't have the best of relations with her parents because they had some rather unpleasant friends who they expected her to get on with their children for a future wedding that would benefit the Greengrass family. For example, they had tried getting her and Cocky Blondie, also known as Draco Malfoy, to get to bond. That however didn't go at all as planned, the two had ended up arguing all the time, there wasn't a single word that came out of their mouths that wasn't meant to make the other feel downtrodden. Her parents had played matchmaker since she was 8 years old, but Daphne was determined to wed someone for love and not money, fame or a possible high ranking position. She wanted to work for what she would eventually receive.
She wanted to be a healer. She had always been fascinated by it. Plus, with the amount of times her sister Astoria hurt herself, it would save her a lot of pain. She didn't really tell anyone about the job she wanted, it was a secret she had kept to herself for the longest time, even her sister didn't know, neither did her best friend, Tracey. She was on her way to her flying lesson. She dreaded it though because not only was it freezing outside, but they were with the Griffindors which meant that Malfoy and Weasley would try to outperform the other all the time. Weasley had already fallen once because Malfoy had rammed into him, but luckily for him he was only a few feet off of the ground. Malfoy had to serve detentions for a week for that and had lost their house 15 points.
She had heard that the best flyer in the first year was Potter. According to the rumours, he was a natural on a broom. She still didn't talk to him much but she didn't dislike him, it was just the house rivalry that kept her unfriendly demeanour going around him. Tracey said that he was a nice guy once you started to speak to him but she didn't really care, Potter was the Boy-Who-Lived and she would just get people asking if she had befriended him for his title. Obviously she didn't really care which is the way the message was passed around the Slytherin common room.
Tracey had received some hate at the start but after the Halloween event, most of them stopped asking why she was talking to him, she generally responded with the fact that they were in the same group in Herbology so obviously she spoke to him, but Daphne knew better because they had already discussed it. Tracey just liked Harry, in a friendly way, he was fun when he wanted to be. He had once called Daphne 'Queenie' and it irritated her to no end. Tracey seemed to think it was funny though, or rather surprised at the fact that the shy boy she was told he was at the start of the year had started using nicknames for someone who didn't show the least amount of interest in him.
Today in their flying lesson, which Daphne absolutely hated, they were going to begin flying a bit higher and doing tricks for those that were well advanced. Cocky Blondie and the red-headed dork had already started trying to annoy the other as much as possible. They were going at very high speeds, well compared to what she liked anyways, and to be fair, that wasn't very much. She was with a small group, mainly consisted of girls. There was her, Milicent Bullstrode, Lavender Brown, Parvati Patil and the only boy in their group was Neville Longbottom. He had fallen off of his broom on their first lesson but hadn't sustained any grace injuries, he had a broken wrist which Madam Pomfrey repaired in a couple of minutes. None of them really liked flying, they preferred keeping their feet to the ground but they had gone up to 5 meters up and she could see Longbottom closing his eyes. She wanted to do the same but remained calm.
They were at 12 meters and Madam Hooch had told them to start flying around while keeping their height. They all started flying rather slowly until Daphne felt confident in her ability to fly a bit faster. That was when everything went wrong. Just as she started accelerating, Malfoy passed in front of her so she took a sharp left and that's when she collided with Weasley. She lost her grip of her broom and started falling to the floor. The only thought in her head as she fell was 'I'm going to die'. The last thing she heard was crunch as she felt her left arm get crushed beneath her.

It seems you all think that the amount of money that the Potter and Peverell families have wasn't enough so I'm going to increase that.
As for purebloods not coming from muggle-borns, I didn't say they were their father or even their grand-father, I was just saying that somewhere down the line there was a muggle born who started the family because the first magical being would have been the child of two muggles which makes him a muggle born and later the line continued to the families they are now.
When it comes to Harry calling a girl beautiful, I know Harry is young but when I say beautiful, at that age it's the same as pretty, I'll change if you want, I just didn't think it would make a big difference
