Daisy strolled down the path leading to the field, her shoes scuffing on the ground, kicking the stones and blowing the dust in the air. It was a windy day and her blonde hair flew in the wind. She stepped down the wooden steps and landed in the grass, turning the corner and smiling instantly as she saw Jay.
"Hey" he greeted her as she came over.
"Hey" she said and the two leaned in for a gentle kiss. Jay lifted his hand, cupping her neck and he pulled back to look down at her.
"So you're grounded then" he said and she sighed nodding her head.
"Yeah, dad says I have to be home straight after school, which means I won't be able to see you" she murmurs, a frown on her face.
"Won't he be at work, how will he know?" Jay shrugged and Daisy shook her head.
"This is my dad we are talking about, he'll know and not to mention he will just come down and check that I'm not lying, he's already pissed that I lied about the party". It was true. If Alec even suspected that Daisy was lying, he would leave work and come straight down there to check she was home, he was not a force to be reckoned with.
"Why don't I come to yours then for a bit" Jay suggests, shrugging his shoulders as if it wasn't a big deal.
"What about work, won't they know you are gone" Daisy raised her eyebrows, pointing out the obvious.
"I'll just say I have an appointment" he shrugs.
"Jay you have an 'appointment' every week, they'll start to catch on, look I'm only grounded for 2 weeks, it will fly by, I can see you in the morning just not in the afternoon or weekend" Daisy rubs her hand on his arm.
"Dais I can't wait that long for you, look I'll come over later just for a little bit and then I'll go before you dad comes home, alright" he says and Daisy can't help but smile.
"Alright fine but you need to be careful" she warns.
"Me careful, you are the one who needs to be careful" Jay pokes Daisy playfully, earning a small giggle from her.
"I will be, I promise" she whispers and wraps her arms around his neck, leaning up for a kiss. Their lips press together softly, the kiss lasting for 5 seconds and they pull away gently, Daisy resting her forehead against his.
"I love you" Jay whispers softly, his dark eyes gazing at Daisy with love.
"I love you too" she says back and they kiss again.
Daisy made her way to school and she spotted her friends in their usual spot. They waved over to her and she smirked as she walked over.
"Oh my god, Daisy what happened, what did you dad say?" Ella immediately said.
"I'm grounded for 2 weeks, it's weird he never usually does stuff like that but I think he was pissed that I was drinking and I was sick as well, urgh" she groans.
"Fuck, I thought you were behind us and then when we reached the hill we saw you were gone, I thought the police might have got you" Chloe says.
"Well they did didn't they, my dad was furious on the way home and he wouldn't stop asking if I had taken drugs, god he's annoying sometimes" Daisy moans.
"So guess you can't come out this weekend" Lily says with a frown.
"I literally can't do anything, not even after school, I hope these next 2 weeks fly by because it's going to be so boring".
"It will… hopefully, anyway how's the boyfriend" Ella nudges her playfully.
"Haha, he's fine, I saw him this morning, can't even go out with him either which is so annoying, not that my dad would know anyway" little did Daisy's friends know that he was coming over today.
"Well just think, after 2 weeks he'll of missed you so much he might do something special" Lily wiggled her eyebrows and the girls laughed.
"We will see, he can be lazy when he wants to be" Daisy said and the bell to school rang, stopping their conversation.
The day went quickly for Daisy which she was grateful for and when it came to the end of the day, she wasted no time in leaving the building.
Jay would be waiting of her and she wanted to get home quickly so she had enough time before her dad came home. Alec was coming home at 6 so it didn't leave her very long.
"See you guys tomorrow" Daisy said to her friends who waved at her before heading off into town.
The walk was peaceful and Daisy hurried on home, reaching her house. She noticed the lights were on which made her nervous as she was the last one to leave the house. She could have sworn she had turned them off.
When she reached the door, she noticed it was already opened and panic set inside her. She walked in slowly, her eyes dashing round the room.
Shit, what if I didn't lock the door and someone's broken in
The sound of crashing made her gasp and she quickly grabbed her phone out of her pocket.
"Shit" her head popped up as she heard a familiar voice and she narrowed her eyes.
"Dad" she called out and a few seconds later he walked into the living room.
"You alright?" He asked as he saw the look on her face.
"What are you doing here?" She asked and he narrowed his eyes in confusion.
"I've come home Dais, that's what people do when they've finished work" he says and she groans.
"I know that dad, I thought you were finishing later" she asked.
"Well I had nothing else to do so thought I'd finish earlier, you alright, you look like you've seen a ghost" he replies.
"I thought someone had broken in" Daisy finally relaxed and dropped her stuff by the door.
"Sweetheart I don't think anyone would want to break into this house if they knew who lived here" Alec said with a smirk. He knew he wasn't much liked around here and he also knew he could be very scary. Anyone who would even try to break into his house wouldn't like the outcome.
"How was school?" He asked and she shrugged.
"Fine, not much to report really" she said lazily and her phone buzzed. Daisy scanned down at it and saw a text from Jay.

The panic set in Daisy came back again and she hurried to reply to his message. He couldn't't be here with her dad home.
You can't come over, my dad's here, I didn't know he would be home early today
Daisy quickly turned to look out the big doors, hoping that Jay would see the message before he came to the door. If Alec saw him, she'd be in so much trouble; more than she was in now.
Her hands shook slightly and there was a tight feeling in her chest, nerves rising inside her as she prayed he wouldn't come.
"You alright Daisy" Alec said with concern as he noticed her looking a little pale. She turned and before she could speak, her phone buzzed again.
Shit, okay I'll see you tomorrow baby x
She sighed with relief and looked back at her dad.
"Yeah fine, just tired is all, I'm going to do my homework" she bushed past her dad and she let out a sigh, the nerves leaving her as she did. That was a close one.
