A/N: SURPRISE BITCH! Bet you thought you saw the last of this story. No, this is not an April Fools joke - I am in fact picking this story back up and changing the category. This chapter is the start of the crossover with Netflix Castlevania. I love that show, it's so beautifully drawn that it inspired me to revisit VHD: Bloodlust and revive this story which like I said is now a crossover with Castlevania (Alucard and D are brothers and you can not change my mind). So here it is the first of hopefully many new chapters. The first in over a decade! I hope the people who loved this story are still here. And to new comers - welcome! Thanks for reading! Enjoy :)

It had been a hundred years. D had always been a bit oblivious to the passage of time. It meant nothing when you didn't age and had no friends to share life with. But Julian's presence had made him aware of every passing day until he realized they had been together for a century. That time passed nearly without incident and was a drop in the bucket compared to how old he actually was. What D couldn't comprehend about so much time passing was that they hadn't seen hide nor hair of Julian's parents. Charlotte and Meier had come back to Earth and seemingly disappeared into the shadows. Along with all the other vampires they had seen that night. Except for a few that were overly confident and ventured out – thinking the chances of running into the famous duo were slim enough.

D had watched Julian grow in that amount of time. Not physically – he was still rather petite. But mentally he shaped up and matured. He was definitely stronger, D was surprised one day when Julian flipped him over and pinned him down – even more so when he tried to get out of his grip and found he couldn't. This was not to say he had completely changed. He was still playful and curious. Every now and then he'd whine about something. Realizing Julian would always be that way made D smile a little. He hoped he'd always be sweet and shy. That he'd always want D to be by his side.

His weight tended to fluctuate depending on where they were. The southern hemisphere tended to have more towns and cities than the north. Because of it's warmer climate people naturally settled there – it was easier to grow food and raise livestock when you didn't have to worry about the winter months that lasted for months up north. Julian plumped up when they settled in a southern city for a while. The people there had an affinity for deep frying nearly everything and it seemed within a month Julian's cheeks and belly got full and round. When it was discovered that they were dunpeals D moved them north for a while.

"It's snowing!" Julian burst into the house - scaring Lefthand so bad he snorted awake. "It's so pretty but I'm all chilled now." Julian said as he moved to the fireplace. Temperature didn't really affect D - he had let the fire fizzle down to just embers while Julian went to the local store for food. He put a few logs in the hearth before he went to put the food in the kitchen. "I'm gonna make beef stew for dinner…" He prattled on as he turned the gas stove on. He lit it and filled up a pot for water. D smirked a little as Julian sped through chopping everything - he doubted the little dunpeal knew he was using the ability. Julian developed it about two years ago while running away from a snake that scared him. He took off and collided with D at a high speed. Ever since it had been popping up every now and then. D would never say he was proud of Julian but he was.

D went back to his book as Julian fluttered about. Once the stew was on to simmer he turned his attention to the dying fire. He stocked it and got it going with the help of the paper bag he had brought the groceries home in. "Smells good kid." Lefthand said when Julian stirred the stew.

"Thanks." Julian smiled as he left it alone to cook. He turned his attention to D. Julian twiddled his thumbs for a second before he sat on the couch next to him. "What are you reading?" He asked - tilting his head in an attempt to see the title on the cover.

"Fiction." D said plainly.

"Oh?" Julian plied him for more details but D just turned the page and kept reading. "Are you hungry?"

"No."

"Do you want to go outside and watch the snow - it's so quiet you can almost hear each flake landing." He offered. D glanced out the window for a second.

"No."

Julian pouted and Lefthand had to keep himself from laughing. D could sometimes be oblivious to his lover. Julian would talk incessantly but D was like a stone as far as conversation went. He didn't look at Julian or notice the man was itching for affection. Julian used to be shy about initiating their intimacy but over the years he seemed to get better at getting D's attention.

D's eyebrows twitched up slightly when Julian unbuttoned the top few buttons of his shirt. He pulled the high collar apart and rubbed his neck. A few more buttons and he sighed. "I may have over done it on the fire. Are you hot?" He asked as he looked at D. D quickly turned his eyes back to the words on the page.

"No."

Julian smiled before he scooted closer to D. He leaned over, making sure to press his shoulder to D's as he read a few sentences. "Oh! It's a story about horses?" He asked.

"Julian." D sighed out. Julian tilted his head back to look at him. He placed his hand on D's thigh to steady himself. "I can't exactly read it with your head in the way."

"Sorry." Julian smiled. As he leaned back he ran his hand up D's thigh. "Can I have a kiss?"

"Is that why you're flaunting yourself? For a kiss?" D asked as he turned the page.

"I'm not flaunting myself. If my 'everyday mannerisms' arouse you then just say so." Julian teased. "If you don't want to kiss me I'll find someone who does." Julian moved to get up but D grabbed his wrist. Julian smirked as D used his speed to toss his book aside and pin him to the couch in an instant. Julian moaned as D kissed him. He hiked his knees up and wrapped his legs around D's back. He tried to keep from chuckling as he got what he wanted. D swirled his tongue around Julian's mouth and pressed his hips down. When D moved to unbutton the rest of his shirt Julian pushed him back. "All I wanted was a kiss,"

"Fine." D let him go and got up. He collected his book and settled back in to read. Julian stared at him perplexed. Usually D would continue - ignoring his whimpers and playful pleas to stop. Today D had seen through Julian's little game and called his bluff. And the loss of contact left him bewildered for a moment. He sat up and watched D read for a second before he moved to the floor. D jumped when Julian knelt between his knees. "What now?"

"I'm sorry - this is my fault." Julian cupped D through his pants. He grit his teeth as Julian stroked his erection slowly. "When you pinned me I felt it. I teased you and it caused this - I'll take responsibility." He offered. D didn't say anything as Julian unbuckled his pants and worked his cock out. He glanced up at D and smiled sweetly. "Or would you rather read?"

"No." D growled out. Julian licked his lips before he ran his tongue from the base to the tip. He swirled it around the head before taking D down his throat. A long, slow suck as he moved his hand around what he couldn't fit. D let out the occasional sigh or grunt. And when Julian gazed up at him he stared right back. The only other indication he was enjoying it was how his engorged flesh throbbed between Julian's lips.

D smiled just a little as he ran his fingers through Julian's curls gently. He learned long ago that Julian had a serious oral fixation. Sometimes he still sucked his thumb in his sleep. He loved it when D worked his fingers in and out of his mouth during foreplay. When they took their time in bed he'd lovingly suck D's nipples - it felt good and he liked doing it so D never stopped him. It excited them both. As he sucked and licked up and down D's length his cheeks flushed. He moaned, D recognized the look in his eyes. He was torn between letting D finish in his mouth or seating himself in D's lap so he could get off too.

D decided for him. "What's wrong?" Julian asked when D grabbed his arm and pulled him up. Julian gasped as D yanked his pants off him in one clean motion. Julian loved it when D used his strength on him. Lifting him into position like there was suddenly no gravity in the room. Holding him still as he searched his pockets for lube. Julian just moaned quietly in D's ear before nipping at them. It made D grunt but he didn't lose concentration - he found the small vial of lube and uncorked it with a flick of his thumb nail.

"Mm… D your fingers feel so good." D twitched when Julian ran his tongue along his jaw. He guided Julian down and he squeaked as D slid inside him. "Yes… yes…" He arched and grabbed D's shoulders. "You're right on my spot… I'm going to cum—ah!" He yelped when D gripped his erection at the base. Squeezing too tight - keeping Julian right on the edge.

"Not yet." He maneuvered them around and put Julian on his back on the couch. He thrust in hard and deep. Julian keened - again he hiked his knees up and wrapped his legs around D's back. He moaned and panted as D licked over his neck.

"Yes, D! God, I want it!" He looked up just as D's fangs extended to full length. "Ahh!" He shrieked when D bit into him - stroking him to orgasm at the same time. Julian purred and wrapped his arms around D's shoulders. Tangling his fingers in his long hair and breathing in his scent as he peaked. D didn't drink much from him - only making the initial bite before licking the slight wound. "Inside…" Julian whimpered as he tightened his hold on D.

"Mmph…" D came a few thrusts later. Julian bit his bottom lip at the feel of it. "…Julian." There was nothing quite as satisfying as hearing D sigh his name. His muscles tensing for a moment as he let loose deep inside him. It gave Julian a different type of high. To know that he was able to arouse such a man as D. In his long life he had to have experienced everything it had to offer. Left hand had told him that D had been celibate for centuries because he seemingly got bored of intercourse. But here he was, smiling and sated because of Julian's body. It made him feel amazing to be under D's gaze. His eyes were beautiful - the shade of soft blue bells lined with long dark lashes.

"Ah!" Julian yelped when D rutted into him one last time. When D looked at him Julian closed his eyes and puckered up for a kiss. D eagerly indulged him - slipping his tongue between his lips and devouring his mouth when Julian moaned. "I bet you're ravenous after that." Julian chuckled. D lifted his eyebrows ever so slightly - silently wondering what Julian meant. "You came so much. I'm stuffed." D snorted. "Stew won't be done for a little bit - can we stay like this?" D just shrugged and got a little more comfortable on top of Julian. He reveled in their closeness. Sliding his hands up and down D's back slowly. He missed the contact they used to share while traveling. In all their years together they never got a second horse so Julian would spend hours hugging D. "You're so beautiful." He sighed. D leaned into Julian's hand when he stroked his cheek. His warmth was intoxicating. His fingers tips were smooth and gentle. "All this thick hair and your body is so— OH! You're getting hard again. I can feel it."

"No, you're squeezing me." D said as he ran his hand up Julian's thigh. He gripped Julian's hip and stopped him from wiggling around. "Mm… still so tight after all these years."

"Am I?" Julian bit his bottom lip.

"And soft." D pinched his stomach and Julian chuckled. They both hissed when it made his body tense.

"No don't make me laugh. Ease back, I feel a little raw." Julian sighed when D did as he requested. He pulled back slow until he slipped free of Julian's body.

"I made a mess out of you." D hummed as he watched his cum seep from Julian.

"I don't mind." Julian sighed. They both stilled when they heard something outside. Footsteps, at least four men were approaching their house. They weren't rushing like they were coming to attack but D peeked out the window and saw light from a torch.

"Get dressed." He instructed as he straightened his clothes. Julian got up and retrieved his pants. He trotted into the bedroom to get cleaned up while D dealt with the people.

"What's happening? Are you two done screwing yet?" Lefthand asked as he woke up.

"We have company." D said as he moved to the door. The visitors knocked and he waited a few seconds before opening the door. For a long tense moment they just stared at D - he understood he was taller than average and he had been told his beauty left many people stunned. Without his hat or armor he assumed he looked normal enough. He noticed one of the men was clutching a crucifix. He frowned - assuming they were there to run he and Julian out of town. "What?" D asked gruffly. He could hear Julian giggle in the bedroom - D was not a very polite man.

"G-good evening, sir." One started. "We are members of the local church here to welcome you to our village."

"Oh?" D asked before he looked up at the sky. "A welcome in the middle of the night?"

"Forgive the late hour. We were unaware that you had inhabited this house. My wife spotted a young man coming to and from here and assumed he was vandalizing the property. But it appears you've started repairing it."

"We are normally nomadic. We needed shelter for the winter." D explained as he moved to close the door.

"We?" Another man asked curiously. "You and the young man? Your son?"

"My… partner." D answered. It felt weird to describe Julian like that but they didn't seemed like the open minded types. He was glad human senses were so dull - they didn't realize he was still wet from having sex with Julian. "We're hunters." He was starting to get annoyed. He wasn't done with Julian when they knocked on the door. Also he didn't like explaining himself to anyone let alone a bunch of nosy religious nuts. The one clutching the cross looked behind him nervously like the darkness was going to snatch him up.

"Well with winter coming you might not find much game here. Since you'll be free hopefully you'll join us for mass."

"I doubt it." D immediately shot him down.

"It might be the only thing that will save you from Dracula's wrath!" The one clutching the cross blurted out. D tensed.

"What did you say?" He growled.

"D? Who is it?" Julian asked as he ducked under his arm. D looked at him sharply and immediately reigned himself in. "Gentlemen, good evening."

"Good evening." They all replied automatically. D found that Julian was actually quite good at dealing with humans. He could toss out pleasantries and small talk with ease. The result of his aristocratic upbringing. Charlotte no doubt hammering good manners into him for years.

"Forgive my partner. He gets irritable when he's hungry." Julian said. He was able to read the tension in the air. D was one growl away from scaring the religious men. That would only earn them hate and that always lead to being run out of town by a mob. "The stew is ready, go eat." He patted D on the chest. The affectionate gesture didn't go unnoticed. D moved to hang out in the kitchen until Julian got rid of them. "Gentlemen I hate to be rude but you are interrupting our dinner. And we are barely settled in to our new home. Maybe I could stop by the church in a few days."

"Very well. Good night."

Julian smiled at them once more before closing the door. He looked out the window to make sure they headed back into town before he want to the kitchen. "You okay?" Julian asked. D was staring out the kitchen window - already miles away in his thoughts. "You look a little put off. What did they say to you?"

"Something worth looking in to." D said before he moved into the bedroom. Julian was serving himself some of the stew when D came out fully dressed and pulling on his cape.

"Oh you meant right now. Do you want me to come with you?" Julian asked.

"No. This shouldn't take long. Eat. And go to sleep. We might have to leave soon."

"Okay." Julian said. He smiled a little when D kissed his forehead before leaving. He did as he was told - even having seconds before he prepped their few belongings for a quick departure. He went out back for a moment to feed the horse and make sure it was okay before going to bed.

Julian jumped awake when he heard someone in the bedroom. "It's me." D said. Julian couldn't see him in the dark but he immediately relaxed - laying back on the pillow as D took off his clothes and slipped into bed next to him. After a moment Julian turned over and cuddled up to him.

"So what happened? Anything to worry about?"

"Not tonight. Go back to sleep." D assured him.

D was on edge. Julian could tell. As he promised he visited the church during the week. They seemed like nice enough people. Several citizens seemed to be worried about demon hoards. "Is that a human thing? To live in fear. You think if they picked up a book and read a little about demons, how to ward them off and how to kill them they wouldn't be so scared of the dark."

"We'd be out of a job." Lefthand said.

"True." Julian shrugged. "Not that I could find any books in this town that aren't the weird bible they wrote themselves. They'd rather pray to an imaginary man in the sky for help. Is it me or does that sound crazy? I know what's in the sky… clouds, the atmosphere, the ozone layer and once you escape that theres space. Lots and lots of space. No bearded man in white robes. And definitely no angels up there."

"I caught one of them snooping around earlier. He had a lot of questions about the horse. Said he's never seen a cyber one before. I could see it on his face - he thinks it's a demon." D said as he looked out the window for the fifth time in as many minutes. "He mentions that to anyone in this superstitious town and we have to leave."

"I didn't think this place was that remote - they've never seen a cyber horse?" Julian asked.

"Or any kind of motorized vehicle. Electricity, central heating, medicine in pill form. It's like they've been forgotten in time or regressed somehow."

"Weird." Julian said. "Hopefully we won't have to leave for a while. Unless their demon king makes another appearance."

"What's the story there?" D asked.

"Apparently some city to the East burned a woman alive for practicing science. According to the schoolmarm the woman was a witch and in fact married to Satan because he appeared and vowed bloody vengeance on all humans. Apparently that was a century ago so it's taking him a minute to get to everyone."

"Where did this story originate?" D asked.

"Oh what was name of the city? I remember it sounded like the word 'wacky-left'…" Julian said as he pulled out a map he had bought in the market. He spread it out on the table and pointed it out. "Wallachia!" He exclaimed. D seemed to tense as he looked at the map. "Might be worth checking it. Churches don't exactly have deep pockets but grateful villagers could be a plus." Julian looked at D and noticed the slight twitch in his features. "Hey." D seemed to come out of his own thoughts when Julian touched his crossed arms. He moved in close and smiled a little. "You okay?" D's scowl eased. He relaxed his posture and uncrossed his arms so Julian could press against him.

"Just thinking." D answered. "Let's give it a few more days."

"You like the bed." Julian giggled when D slid his hands under his shirt.

"I'd like it better if you were in it."
