So the plan was to meet Anna at night, after the city limit, where the woods begins, it had to be as far away from the castle as possible so no one would suspect anything. Easy. Haaken would help the young couple in love who just wanted time to love each other with no one to look at them.

Kristoff had been waiting more than half an hour at the agreed location, he was a little nervous to say the least. Anna would have to come in disguise with Haaken, no one can know that she left the castle at night, otherwise the couple would be in trouble.

"Kristoff?" It was Anna who asked, just behind her came Haaken.

"Anna!" He ran up to her and kissed her, a chaste and sweet kiss.

"How I missed that." the princess said, blushing.

"I'm going." said Haaken not to disturb the moment of the two in love.

"Thank you Haaken, I owe you one." Kristoff thanked him.

"Don't worry." The soldier said.

The two stayed there in the clearing of the woods, they could finally date. Anna looked into Kristoff's eyes and smiled, as she loved those brown eyes full of love, Kristoff could say the same thing about her smile, it was like a spell that enchanted him and he couldn't stop looking.

"What is it?" Asked Anna.

"Nothing. I'm just looking at the most beautiful smile in the world." He said smiling and she blushed.

They sat under a big tree, Anna lay in his arms, she felt lost when he held her, his grip was strong but at the same time gentle, the rest of the world no longer mattered when she was there.

"I love you," he said in his soft, warm voice. He loves her and she was so happy to know that.

"I love you, too," she replied sweetly.

It scared her at times, but she was ready to discover the power of love, his beating heart made it clear that she would no longer be alone, ever again.

"Kristoff." The redhead said. "Do you promise to never let me go?"

He was a little confused by the question, he would never do such a thing.

"Anna." He took her chin tenderly, so that she looked at him.

"I will be yours forever, we will never part ways, I promise." He said with love.

She smiled and leaned over to kiss him, a kiss full of love. Neither of them wanted this moment to end, eventually she would have to return to the castle, but the couple just wanted to be there loving each other.

❄️

It was already morning and Anna remembered the night she had yesterday with Kristoff. She was smiling as she went to have breakfast.

"Good morning sister." the princess said smiling at Elsa.

"I see that someone is in a good mood today, what happened?" Elsa asked.

"Nothing. I just realized the beauty of life," Anna replied, smiling.

Just as Haaken said, that she just needed a break, Elsa would have to thank him later.

"So you're not mad at me anymore?" The blonde asked.

"Mad? Elsa, I was never mad at you. I was just upset about what happened."

Elsa smiled at what her sister said.

"I promise to make it up to you someday," the queen said. "But today I am full of things to do."

"Okay, today I'm going to meet Kristoff, in the castle garden with a guard watching over us, don't worry." Anna replied, eating her breakfast.

Wow what a sudden change. The sisters had breakfast and each went to do what they had to do, but first Elsa had to find Haaken and thank him for his advice.

The queen was walking in the castle's halls when she found who she wanted to talk to.

"Haaken." She called. The soldier turned to her.

"Elsa."

"I would like to thank you for your advice yesterday, Anna is already talking to me again." Elsa said smiling.

"There's nothing to be thankful for, it's a pleasure to help you," he said. She was still smiling.

"Would you like to go with me on a walk through the city later?" She asked. It was strange but she was comfortable with him, Haaken was pleasant company.

"It will be an honor," Haaken replied, smiling.

She couldn't wait to spend time with him, it seemed that everything was easier with his presence there. How did she start to be so enchanted by him? Did he feel the same when he was close to her? It was better not to think about it, but the more she tried to divert her thoughts from him, the more he got into her head.

The morning passed quickly, Elsa went to meet Haaken so that they could take a walk around the city. They talked a lot this time, Haaken told his childhood story, the happy days he had with his sister.

"Now tell me about your childhood here in Arendelle." The soldier asked.

"Well, it was good until I was eight years old, Anna and I were friends, but then everything changed with an accident because of my powers, I was isolated from the rest of the world for 13 years including Anna." She answered.

"I'm sorry," he said.

"Don't be sorry, everything is fine now," Elsa replied.

"How did everything change?"

"Long story, let's just say that Anna saved me and I learned to control my powers."

"You are very close friends, right?"

"Yes we are, I don't know what would become of me without her, that's why I care so much about her safety." Elsa replied.

If only she knew what Anna did last night. But it was better to keep it secret, after all it was Haaken who had the brilliant idea to unite the young couple.

"I see," he said.

"That's why I will always be grateful to you, to have saved her that day in the woods, if they took her I would probably lose control of my powers."

Wait, is she saying what he is thinking?

"That's it! Anna is her weakness, how could I be so blind." Haaken thought, but then why didn't he feel very happy about it? He should be celebrating mentally.

"I will always be here, when you need me." That was actually a lie that he said.

"Thank you, "she said with a real smile.

Wow, what a beautiful smile he thought, but he soon dismissed the thought, as he had something more important to do, write a letter to the king of Midsund, telling the queen's weakness. After that he would be considered a hero to the people there, and his father would forgive him for his mistake in the past, that was how the young man thought now, but his thoughts would soon change.
