"Till the Pride Lands end..." Kion says as the group arrives outside the Outlands the next morning.
"With all your friends." Alexis says as she stands next to Kion before smiling at him.
"We'll fight for what's right." Kion says.
"Pride Landers unite." The Pridelanders shout as they begin running into the Outlands after the lion guard.
"Everyone knows the plan. Keep the Outlanders off us so we can get to the top of the volcano." Kion says as the group is running.
"And here come the baddies." Bunga says as the Outlanders come running in the distance before the Pridelanders begin fighting with the Outlanders.
"You're all clear Kion." Jasiri says as she tackles a crocodile.
"Right. Lion Guard with me." Kion says as the group makes their way to the volcano.
*Timeskip*
"Kion. Lion Guard. Welcome." Scar says as the Lion Guard makes to where he is.
"He does know why we're here doesn't he?" Bunga asks.
"I know why you think you're here. But destiny can be full of surprises. Ushari now!" Scar shouts as Ushari jumps out and bites Kion on his eye.
"Kion!" Alexis shouts as Bunga tackles Ushari before she runs over to Kion before seeing he now has a scar.
"Sisi ni sawa Kion. Now you have a scar. Just like me." Scar says tauntingly as Alexis helps Kion up.
"We're not the same! I'll never be like you Scar." Kion says angrily as he goes toward Scar.
"Ooh! Ooh! Use the Roar Kion. Blast that guy back to where he came from." Bunga says as scar continues to taunt Kion
"Finding it difficult to think? My venom has a tendency to do that." Ushari says as Kion rubs his eye.
"Use the Roar Kion. He's asking for it." Bunga says.
"You have the mark of evil. Just like me Kion. Accept your destiny. There is no other choice!" Scar says as he laughs.
"Of course! I do have another choice Scar. Something only one Lion Guard leader can do to another." Kion says.
"And? What's that?" Scar asks.
"I forgive you." Kion says as the others look at him in surprise.
"You... You what!?" Scar asks in shock.
"But I can't judge you for everything you've done. The Lions of the Past need to do that." Kion says as clouds appear before it starts raining.
"The Roar is a curse Kion. You'll see! Sisi ni sawa!" Scar shouts as he disappears.
"Stop! You can't destroy him." Ushari shouts as he goes to charge at Kion only for Bunga to jump at him and miss tumbling off the edge.
"Oh no you don't. You won't touch him again!" Alexis says as she snarls and grabs Ushari before throwing him at a rock.
"I've got you Bunga!" Ono shouts as he goes and grabs Bunga.
"Way to go Ono." Beshte says as Ono flies over with Bunga before collapsing on his back.
"Nicely done Kion." Alexis says as she smiles at Kion causing him to blush slightly.
"Scar is finally gone. We've won." Kion says as the group watches the lava turn hard and seal up.

As the group arrives back the others cheer as Jasiri comes over.
"Kion your face." Jasiri says as she sees Kion's scar.
"I'll be fine. More importantly... Everyone Scar has been defeated. The battle for the Pride Lands is over." Kion says as the Outlanders wonder what will become of them.
"If you ask me there's only one animal that can keep the peace between the Pride Lands and the Outlands." Janja says.
"And who's that? You?" Kiburi asks before Janja goes over to Jasiri.
"Nope I ain't that dumb. From now on Jasiri should be in charge of the Outlands." Janja says to Jasiri's surprise.
"Makes sense to me. I would more than accept that." Alexis says as she smiles.
"Outlanders I know we can all get along here in the Outlands. Just so long as we respect the Circle of Life." Jasiri says.
"And if you don't then you'll have to answer to Jasiri's new clan which includes us." Janja says as the Outlanders eventually accept Jasiri's new role.
"There they go." Bunga says.
"Go where? Guys? What's going on? Has the smoke from the volcano cleared up yet?" Ono asks as he looks around.
"Yeah. Like a long time ago." Alexis says as Anga comes over.
"Hmm. Odd. Everything still looks pretty hazy to me." Ono says as he looks around.
"Ono? Your eyes look... Different." Anga says as she looks at Ono's eyes.
"Is that you Anga? Everything's looking a bit fuzzy." Ono says.
"That rescue must have taken more out of Ono than we realized." Kion says.
"I'm not all that surprised. He did breathe in a lot of smoke. It would explain it." Alexis says as she looks at Kion.
"I did. And volcanic fumes can be poisonous. It's called vog. Common knowledge really." Ono says.
"Don't worry Ono. We'll have Rafiki look at you." Kion says as the group begins to head back.
*Timeskip*
"Huh?" Alexis asks as the group is walking back before Alexis notices Kion by a small pond.
"Kion? Are you okay? Kion!" Alexis says as she goes over to Kion as he ignores her before roaring at her sending her flying into a boulder as Alexis yelps as she hits it.
"Was that the Roar? What's going on?" Ono asks in alarm as Kion runs over to Alexis as she gets up.
"Alexis! Oh no! Are you okay? I'm so so sorry. The Roar just came out! I... I didn't mean to." Kion says fearfully.
"Kion it's okay. I'm fine. Sore but I'm fine. I know you didn't mean it. It was an accident. I know you would never roar at me like that. I believe you." Alexis says.
"Me too. Are you alright Alexis?" Fuli asks as Alexis nods.
"Wait what? Kion Roared at Alexis?!" Ono asks in alarm.
"Ono shh. It was an accident!" Beshte says as he looks at Ono.
"It's gonna be okay Kion." Fuli says as she looks at Kion.
"I think I'm going to need Rafiki's help too." Kion says as the group continues on.

As Alexis is laying in the lair while Rafiki is looking at Kion and Ono the royal family then arrives and expresses great horror and concern at Kion's face and even more at their being no cure in the Pridelands.
"Um if I may say something? Might I suggest trying the Tree of Life?" Alexis asks as she goes over to the group.
"The what?" Kion asks.
"The Tree of Life! That's where animals with nowhere else to go go to seek help!" Makini shouts excitedly.
"Wait. You've been there?" Bunga asks.
"Yeah! But it's been a while." Makini says.
"Yes. I actually came from there before I came to the Outlands. I had a friend there." Alexis says.
"The Tree of Life is where I first met Makini. And the Lions of the Past told me she would be the next Royal Mjuzi." Rafiki says.
"The Tree of Life should be able to help Kion if there is nothing to be done in the Pridelands. I should remember the way. The only problem is that it's far away so it's gonna take a while to get there." Alexis says.
"And if you have trouble there are landmarks to help guide your way. Yes, yes. Just follow the paintings on the Moja Kwa Moja Stones. It is only at the Tree of Life that Kion may find the cure he needs." Rafiki says as Ono flies over to beside the landmark paintings.
"Then that's what I need to do. I need to go to the Tree of Life." Kion says as Alexis nods.
"Maybe the Tree of Life can help me too." Ono says happily.
"Then we'll all go with you." Beshte says.
"I don't think so." Kion says.
"Why not? With Scar gone and Jasiri in charge of the Outlands. There's finally peace in the Pride Lands." Fuli says.
"Mom? Dad?" Kion asks as he looks at his parents.
"After everything you've done for the Pride Lands I think it's okay for the Lion Guard to help you." Nala says.
"I agree. Go Kion. And have the Lion Guard go with you." Simba says.
"Hey wait. Ono's not the Keenest of Sight anymore. Doesn't the Lion Guard still need that? Just in case Alexis does have trouble remembering the way?" Bunga asks.
"Bunga!" Fuli says.
"No Bunga's right. I'm not keenest of sight. But I know who is. Anga. You should replace me on the Guard." Ono says as he and Kion then get Anga to agree to take over Ono's role.
*Timeskip*
"Safe travels, Lion Guard." Simba says as the group is standing outside near Priderock.
"Thanks Dad." Kion says as he smiles.
"Alexis are you certain you remember the way?" Simba asks as Alexis nods.
"Of course your majesty. It's been a while but I can do it." Alexis says confidently.
"Don't worry your majesty. I've memorized the landmarks that point the way to the Tree of Life." Ono says as he and the others give reassurance to Simba and Nala.
"Wait for me!" A voice shouts revealing to be Makini and Rafiki.
"Makini?" Kion asks.
"I have agreed to let Makini go with you." Rafiki says.
"I've already been to the Tree of Life remember? When I was little! Between me and Alexis I'm sure we'll have no trouble. And I can give you Tuliza whenever you need it." Makini says.
"Oh! That'd be great Makini. Everyone ready? Lion Guard let's go." Kion says as the group leaves with friends and family sending them off.
