"How could you kill them?! Fairies don't kill! Life is the most precious thing there is!" Erza rounded furiously on Lucy after she broke free of her shock and Lucy merely raised an eyebrow at her.

"If you want to be technical then I didn't kill them." Lucy said completely calm and even smirking slightly.

"What do you mean?! Look at them they're dead!" Erza said making Lucy hum slightly.

"Their bodies are dead yes. However after Soul Magic became more common the Magic Council classified killing someone as killing their soul. I never killed their souls. In fact I just collected their souls to put into something else later. So they are in fact still alive, it's just their bodies that are dead. Honestly don't be so bent out of shape over it. I can put their souls back into their bodies if I want to, it just isn't a good idea." Lucy said waving the smaller womans concerns away and making Erza open her mouth to retort only to close it slowly. She wasn't sure about that part of the Magic Council classifying death as someones soul dying. She'd have to look it up later but until then she'd keep a close eye on the legendary 'Empress' Big Mom.

"Besides they were all planning and more than willing to broadcast a massive death spell not just against all the innocent people outside but also so that the guildmasters can hear. Would you rather they be the ones with their souls taken? Or would you rather bury the guildmasters including Master Makarov?" Lucy asked and Erza flinched backwards at that. After all Master Makarov was like a grandfather to her and she never wanted anything to happen to him.

Which left her with the question of if she would kill someone who was more than willing to kill other people in order to save innocent people or her own guild master. She…honestly didn't have the answer to that question. She hoped she'd never have to answer that question.

"Think about that while we go to save them. After all Erigor is still on the loose and he has Lullaby with him." Lucy said calmly as she began to walk away, just leaving the bodies where they were.

"Why…why wouldn't it be a good idea to put the souls back into the bodies?" Erza asked as she jogged to keep up with Lucy's longer strides.

"You ever read a story about zombies? It'll pretty much be like that just the zombies would listen to me but even then it'd be a pain in the ass to control them since they would actually need to devour some chemical in the brain or body to keep moving and keep their soul tethered to the bodies." Lucy said making Erza wince, yeah she could understand why the taller woman wouldn't want to put the souls back into the bodies in that case. She could only imagine the havoc that would cause.

"It was honestly really effective against the dark guilds in Boscoe." Lucy added after a moment as the two walked outside and Erza warned everyone to run while Lucy just sat by the wall and relaxed, closing her eyes and doing her best to ignore the large gathering of scared souls all closed together in one large glob.

"You didn't notice him?!" Erza demanded rounding on Lucy after Erigor had erected a wind barrier and tossed Erza through it back towards Lucy who had caught her.

"Do you have any idea how hard it is to focus or see one specific soul when there are hundreds of scared screaming souls gathered in one place? I was doing my best not to go completely crazy because of all of them." Lucy said rolling her eyes and standing up.

"It's crude. Sharp and fast enough to hurt most people. I should be able to walk right through it though but I couldn't take anyone with me." Lucy said sticking her hand in and pulling it back without damage while Erza was repelled violently, hurting her arm a bit as she was thrown back.

"We'll go through all together as a group. If I remember right there's someone in the dark guild who can dispel magic barriers…let's hope he isn't one of the ones you stole the soul of." Erza said grimacing and making Lucy nod even as she began to gently wrap Erza's arm, much to the red heads surprise at how gentle the large woman was being.

"Let's see." Lucy said reaching into the pocket and taking out one of the souls while also looking around for something she could bring alive.

"Do you have any spare regular swords that you don't mind if they begin to talk?" Lucy asked Erza who looked confused for a moment, after all she wasn't there for Lucy's demonstration for the rest of the guild, but brought out one of her spare regular swords that she almost never used.

Lucy put the white orb into the sword and Erza watched as it was brought to life and showed a face on it.

"Ah Buster. You have your old memories?" Lucy asked naming the sword right off the top of her head and making the eyes blink.

"Yes mama." The sword, Buster, said making Lucy nod and smile slightly.

"Well can you help us by telling us who out of the Eisenwald guild is the dispeller?" Lucy requested making the sword smile brightly up at her.

"Of course mama! Kageyama is the dispeller. My last memory of him is him chasing that pink haired boy!" Buster said happily and making Lucy nod her head.

"Thank you Buster, you've been a big help. Now I'm going to entrust you to help and protect my friend Erza here. Can you be good for her and tell her your abilities when we get a minute?" Lucy asked making Buster wiggle happily, the entire face beaming.

"Of course mama!" Buster said brightly and Lucy smiled while Erza looked lost on how to treat the sword now.

"Can you put him at your waist or back in order for him to watch your blind side? He can fill you in on whatever magic he used to use once things calm down. Now let's go get the dragon slayer and his prey." Lucy said turning and leading the way to where she could feel Natus's unique almost double soul and the rather strange shadow like one that was chasing him.

"What about us Mama?" Prometheus asked for orders.

"Go get Grey. Tell him about the wind wall and what we learned their target really is. If he's in a fight then end it." Lucy ordered causing both Prometheus and Zeus to fly off happily while Lucy sighed almost fondly.

"Children." Lucy said shaking her head.

Erza was just left following her staring at her newly talking sword.
