Rivals from Across the Pond

You know how everyone has only one rival? Well I have two rivals. This week is the international talent festival to those that don't know it's a one week event where groups of students from arts and talents schools like Hollywood Arts High all around the world gathered to show their talents with one student on the last day compete to win the international talent trophy for their school and country, and this year Hollywood Arts High has been selected to hold the international event.

"Can't believe this would be my first time seeing the International Talent Festival." I said as we began to set up the booth for Hollywood Arts High.

"You never been to this before?" Chase asked me.

"Well it's mostly in a different country plus I was a kid at the time." I explain to them.

"Are we missing anything?" I asked them.

"Just some flyers and a playlist of your mom's songs."

"I'll go get my pear phone from my locker." I said as I left I didn't suspect them to arrive at the school.

"Oh hello boys." They said to Chase and Harry.

"My name is Gwen and this is my sister Ruby." Gwen said to them that they began to make Jenny and Lauren jealous that as soon as I saw them I began to panic and grabbed the nearest dish nearby to grab and cover my face so that they wouldn't see me.

"I have some new Tori Vega CDs that are not released yet that we could sell to you for $100." Gwen said that Harry was foolish enough to buy them that as soon he opened the CD after he paid for it he realized that it was nothing but yarn in the case.

Status: I really don't want to deal with them again.

Feeling: panicking

At home everyone was talking about the scam.

"Cannot believe I got con out of a hundred." Harry said as I walked back with my pear pad.

"You've been acting a bit odd ever since they showed up, Alexis." Jenny said.

"This is why." I said as I showed a picture of the twins, aunt Cat, Sam, and me.

"Who's the cute little girl?" Sakura asked.

"That little girl is me at the age of five."

"Who are the other two girls in the picture?"

"The Brit Brats." I said as they looked at me confused.

"Gwen and Ruby." I said as they still look at me confused.

"The two girls that con Harry out of a hundred dollar!"

"What?"

"You knew them!?"

"They were both con artists at the age of six that tried to destroy aunt Cat's and Sam's babysitting service and their friendship. One day when I stayed with aunt Cat and Sam for the whole week they were staying as well, and caused more problems that tried to destroy their home and they gagged and tied me up to a chair to keep me quiet locking me up in the closet luckily aunt Cat and Sam found me that we decided to con them a third time by saying that I could give them stylish hairstyles when in truth I use aunt Jade's birthday gift from my third birthday to cut all their hair off." I said taking out my aunt Jade's birthday present showing it to them. Guess they con their way into an arts and talent school in the UK."

"Maybe you could beat them at the international talent competition." Jenny suggested.

"Think I could?"

"Yeah. Well we better get going well start practicing the next few days to get you ready to out sing them." Chase said as they left that I sighed and went to my laptop going on SlapFace checking if aunt Cat is on luckily she is that I began to open a private chat.

LilVega2007: Aunt Cat I need some help with a situation.

HappyCat: What's the problem?

LilVega2007: Brit Brats

HappyCat: Oh no their back?

LilVega2007: Worse they're in a UK school similar to Hollywood Arts High, and they're attending the international talent festival, and con my friend out of hundred dollars. We decided to have me compete against them on the last day of the festival.

HappyCat: Do you know how to beat them at the festival.

LilVega2007: I really don't know I never competed before.

HappyCat: Just do your best, and show those Brit Brats who's boss.

LilVega2007: Thanks for the advice.

Status: Ready to show some Brit Brats not to mess with me again.

Feeling: Determined

The last day has arrived as I signed up for the competition.

"It's been a long time Gwen and Ruby."

"Alexis Vega."

"How's the new hair or should I say wigs?"

"Don't start with us Vega!"

"How about a little wager in this international talent competition?"

"What's the bet?"

"If I win you have to give Harry back his hundred dollars, and you have to listen to my aunt Trina's singing on this playlist for an entire flight on your way home."

"And if we win?"

"I be your personal slave and kiss your feet for the rest of my life."

"Then it's a bet." I shook both hands, and we gathered together.

"Okay here's the plan Chase I'll need you with me at the performance, Harry keep an eye out for the Brit Brats, Jayden, Ryan, Sakura help Harry out. Jenny if they tried to sabotage me show them this and ask if they want a new haircut." I told them as they listened and I gave Jenny my scissors as she nodded to me. After they performed their song it was my turn to end the night with my performance.

As I performed the Brit Brats were sneaking into the backstage preparing to sabotage my performance till Jenny blocked them.

"You two know what would be a good way for sabotages?"

"What?"

"A nice new haircut."

As soon as Jenny show them my scissors they freaked out, and ran off screaming as I smiled then continue to perform.

I then got an outstanding applause by every student from every country and after the judges decided and they announced that I was the winner of the competition given the trophy as I held it up in the air. After the competition, the festival came to an end and we caught up with the Brit Brats.

"Don't forget you lost the bet." They returned the hundred dollars to Harry and I gave them both the entire playlist of my aunt Trina singing that they the minute they turn on the playlist they began to scream like they are in pain.

"Her singing is terrible."

"This is completely tortured."

"You have to hear them on your way home."

Status: Victorious once again.

Feeling: Relieved

At home I showed my mom the trophy, and told them about my bad blood history with the Brit Brats and the bet.

"What if they don't listen to her singing?"

"Oh let's just say I asked someone that we know who is flying to the UK a big favor."

At the plane both Gwen and Ruby sat in their seats.

"We're not going to listen to this tortured are we?"

"Nope besides how would she know that we're not listening to that?"

After they sat someone else sat next to them to block them off from leaving their seats.

"Hi there you two must be Gwen and Ruby."

"And who are you?"

"I'm Trina Vega Alexis's aunt."

"What!?"

"Alexis asked me to do a favor for you two and she has a video message for you two."

"Hey Brit Brats since you might not be listening to the playlist I asked my aunt Trina to sing for you both for the entire flight. Enjoy your flight home."

"You're both going to enjoy my singing."

"NOOOOOOO!" They both screamed as my aunt Trina sang to them as the plane took off to the UK.
