Winds of Destiny: Converging
Cherry Blossom

The clacking sound of fingers quickly typing away on a keyboard filled the otherwise silent twenty-eighth floor lobby of the Hero Public Safety Commission's main headquarters. It was half past nine in the evening and most of the employees had already gone home for the day. The lone secretary sitting behind the desk in front of the President's office jumped slightly at the sudden sound of the phone ringing from the corner of her desk. Her fingers halted on the keyboard and she reached out to answer the call. "Hero Public Safety Commission President's office, Torimodo speaking. How may I help you?"
"Workin' late, huh?" A familiar voice with a hint of a Kyushu accent crooned from the other end of the line.
Misaki blinked in surprise. "Keigo?"
She could hear the smile in his voice when he replied. "Hey. I tried calling your cell, but it went straight to voicemail."
Glancing down at the darkened screen of the device, she reached over to press the power button on the side, and it flashed a low battery icon before completely powering down. She cringed slightly before telling him, "Sorry, I've been so busy, I guess I forgot to charge it…"
With the first rankings announcement of the year coming up, everyone had been putting in a bunch of overtime to make sure all of the data was being compiled completely and accurately. Over the past few days, Misaki had been diligently double checking all of the numbers for the current top ten heroes, going over all of her reports from the past six months and making sure all of the values were fed into the right categories. The sheer number of incident resolutions for Endeavor's and Hawks's offices alone was enough for a full day's work.
She shifted the office phone to her shoulder and reached out to plug her power cable into the bottom of her smart phone as she offhandedly asked, "Did you need something?"
"Just thought I'd swing by and pick you up for a date."
Misaki shifted her gaze up as the sound of the same voice she was hearing on the phone rang out from her left, and she gasped in surprise at the sight of Hawks suddenly standing there next to her desk. He grinned at her as he tapped the button on the screen of his phone to end the call and quipped, "Surprise."
"What are you doing here?" She asked in an astonished tone of voice, referring to him being in town more than his presence at the office.
He typically called ahead of time to let her know if he'd be stopping by. She wasn't sure how long her phone had been dead though; it was possible that he'd tried and had been unable to get through. He almost never called her on the office line unless it was strictly work related, and she usually tried to keep their repour in those instances as professional as possible. The last thing she needed was her boss finding out that she was dating one of the heroes she was tasked with reporting on. She didn't want it to seem like she was playing favorites in some way.
He dropped his hands into his pockets and shrugged, rocking back on his heels a bit as he nonchalantly replied, "It was kind of a last-minute thing. I stopped by your apartment, but since you weren't there, I figured you were still here." The side of his mouth tilted up in a smirk as he tilted his head to the side and regarded her playfully. "Think you can tear yourself away from your desk for some dinner?"
She met his wily grin with a smile of her own, reaching out to close down her computer before quickly gathering her things and standing from her desk. As she walked over to meet him, he held out a case to her which she immediately recognized as the one that contained her custom-made flight gear. He must have swiped from her apartment when he'd stopped by there earlier. Since his spares were a bit too big for her, he'd had a smaller set of headphones and a visor made a few months ago for her to use whenever they flew anywhere together.
"We're flying there?" She asked as she accepted the case while looking up at him inquisitively.
He shifted from side to side slightly and shrugged. "It's nice enough out. You don't want to?"
Grinning candidly at the boyishly expectant expression on his face, she carefully slipped on the gear as she told him, "It's fine. I don't mind."
She always got a little anxious flying with him when it was light out. He usually flew high enough that it was difficult for anyone to notice he was carrying her when they traveled. Still, the last thing she wanted to see in the morning tabloids was a picture of the two of them flying across the sky together. She knew he was pretty careful, but she refused to underestimate the tenacity of the paparazzi. They could go to pretty drastic lengths to get a scoop, especially on such an elusive hero like Hawks. The problems that kind of attention would cause for her job aside, she didn't want their involvement to become a source of stress for him either.
As soon as she'd fastened her coat around her waist she heard him ask, "Ready to go?"
It had surprised her in the beginning how well she could hear with the headphones on. He'd told her that they'd been designed to filter and enhance sounds like human voices, while blocking out any ambient noises like wind or rain. She nodded to him before stepping forward and wrapping her arms around his neck. He carefully lifted her up into his arms, lifting off of the ground with a soft sweep of his wings before taking off for the roof access. They were out the door and in the air in a matter of seconds. She wasn't quite sure where he planned on taking her for dinner, but it was pretty obvious that they were heading in the opposite direction of her apartment.
She cast her eyes downward when she felt him begin to slow and descend. Catching sight of a somewhat familiar area, she curiously asked, "Is that the Meguro River?"
"Good eye," Hawks confirmed with an appraising smirk.
It wasn't that difficult to recognize. The illuminated rows of blooming cherry blossom trees shone brightly in the darkness. The multitude of paper lanterns lining the riverbank cast a soft pink glow across the water which reflected the shimmering light up around the entire area. Even from above, it looked exactly like it did in all of the pictures she'd ever seen of the widely famous Hanami destination. Nervousness flooded through her at the thought. It was still the middle of the season, and the traffic in the area was known to be quite heavy in the evening hours for people to walk along the river by the light of the lanterns. It was a very public place for him to be taking her for dinner.
Her nervous stomach leapt into her throat and she quickly tightened her grip around Hawks's neck, letting out an indelicate squeak when he suddenly dropped out of the sky, diving down and seamlessly slipping through the tree branches to glide over the calm surface of the water. Her nervousness swiftly faded away into wonder as she stared up at the trees overhead and she slowly loosened her hold, watching as hundreds of branches full of illuminated cherry blossoms passed by above them. The experience was rather short lived, as the rows of trees only stretched for approximately four kilometers, and at the speed they were traveling it took less than five minutes for them to make it from one end to the other.
He let her down on the sidewalk not far from a group of food vendor stalls after circling back around once they'd reached the end of the promenade. She looked around for a moment before muttering under her breath, "It's practically deserted…"
Not that she was complaining. The fewer people there were around to witness their impromptu flight along the river the better.
"It looks like there are a few stands still open," Hawks remarked, shoving his hands into his pockets and tilting his head for her to follow him as he made his way over to the open food stalls.
Whether it was because it was so late in the evening, or because it was Hawks who was ordering, they eventually ended up with two heaping bags full of to go boxes and snacks by the time they finally left the stands. He let her hold onto the bottle of Sakura wine she'd purchased, more as a commemorative souvenir than for the purpose of drinking together, carrying the bags with his feathers as he flew them up to the top of a nearby building overlooking the promenade. They both settled down on the wide, concrete ledge of the rooftop and let their feet dangle over the edge. Luckily, she'd chosen to wear shoes that tied to work that morning instead of a normal pair of dress heels, so she didn't have to worry about them falling off.
Misaki accepted the carton of takoyaki that Hawks handed her while asking in a skeptical tone of voice, "Did you do that on purpose?"
"Wha'sat?" He asked around the disposable chopsticks he held between his teeth to break them apart.
She popped the top of the takoyaki container open as she shot him a sidelong glance and replied, "Come out here at the end of the day to scavenge."
He let out a good-natured chuckle. "They were gonna throw it all out anyway, I'm helping cut back on waste!"
"Right," she sarcastically drawled, shooting him a playful smirk before taking a bite of one of the takoyaki balls.
Setting his carton of yakisoba aside, he reached out for the Sakura wine bottle and began unwrapping the lid as he said, "I thought it'd be nice to see the cherry blossoms together before the season was over. Since it was so late, this seemed like the best place to do it."
Misaki gazed out across the sky at the line of softly lit cherry blossom trees and quietly remarked under her breath, "It is beautiful."
Hawks held out a small paper cup filled three-quarters of the way to the top with wine, and she took it from him with a grateful smile. Bringing it up to her lips, she inhaled a delicate whiff of the floral scented wine before taking a small sip. It was delicious, light and sweet with a fruity flavor that was just mild enough to mask the bitter aftertaste of the alcohol. If she wasn't careful, she might end up drinking a bit too much of it before she realized how it was affecting her. Setting the cup down on the ledge next to her, she carefully scooted closer to Hawks and leaned her head on his shoulder as she continued to gaze down at the trees below. After a moment, she felt the soft weight of his wing wrap around her shoulders to block the wind whipping across the rooftop and a small, contented smile tugged at the edges of her lips.
"I can't remember the last time I did this," she wistfully sighed.
"Went to see the cherry blossoms?" He curiously inquired, glancing down at her from the corner of his eye as he brought a full bite of yakisoba up to his mouth.
She nodded. "I used to go to Hanami at Nishi Park with my parents every year when I was little. It's probably been at least sixteen years…"
"I never really got out of the house much while I was growing up. I've seen the trees blooming but I've never really done the traditional Hanami thing," he said, tossing the now empty yakisoba carton into one of the paper bags before pulling out his own serving of takoyaki from the other bag and popping open the lid.
She removed her head from his shoulder and turned to regard him as she asked, "Why not?"
"Mostly—" He popped on of the takoyaki balls into his mouth whole, speaking around it as he chewed. "Because I'm too busy."
She dropped her gaze to the smattering of people still wandering down the riverbank for a moment before she pensively remarked, "I imagine it's hard to enjoy the normal things that people take for granted when you're a public figure."
She felt him shrug his shoulders before his nonchalant sounding voice replied, "It's not like I can't do them, I just have to prepare myself; understand that, no matter where I go, I'm probably gonna be taking pictures and signing autographs for a while. Half my personal time ends up becoming work time when I'm out in public anymore, whether I'm in costume or not."
Turning her gaze to the scarlet plumage draped over her shoulders, she reached up to gently trace her fingers over the edge of one of his longer feathers as she commented, "Well, these aren't exactly inconspicuous."
He chuckled softly. "I'm not complaining. It's all part of the job."
"I suppose so..." She trailed off thoughtfully.
Misaki had often wondered about the level of importance that was placed upon a hero's popularity ranking. It all seemed a bit pretentious to her sometimes, the way heroes had to flaunt themselves and their gimmicks for the media and their adoring fans. The true message often seemed to get lost in all of the fanfare anymore. A hero's job, at its core, was to help people. All the ad mongering made it seem like they were helping themselves and their sponsors more than anything else. She understood the importance of the approval ratings. The more the public trusted them, the greater chance they had of the people relying on them for help when the need arose. She just wasn't convinced that it warranted all of the publicity they garnered on a regular basis.
"It would be nice to be able to do normal things with you, though," Hawks candidly remarked, pulling Misaki out of her musings.
She shot him a curious look and asked, "Like what?"
"Like this. Having a traditional Hanami outing, going out to karaoke or a movie theatre, taking you out for dinner and dancing." He shrugged, glancing over at her from the corner of his eye as he said, "Ya know, normal date stuff."
"You dance?" She incredulously asked after processing what he'd said for a second.
Hawks dropped his head and let out an exasperated sigh before shooting her a sidelong glance. "That's what you picked up on out of all of that?"
She blinked and shook her head. "Sorry, I just wasn't expecting that to be something you'd wanna do."
It wasn't that she was surprised that he could dance. In truth, she often wondered if there was anything the man didn't know how to do. He constantly surprised her with the unique range of skillsets he had, from being able to fly a plane to cooking a perfect eggs benedict, he was a professional and domestic marvel sometimes. What surprised her was that she'd never seen him show any interest in it before. She knew he was a fan of all kinds of different music, from slow jazz to upbeat punk rock anthems, he'd listen to almost anything depending on what kind of mood he was in. More often than not it was something catchy and upbeat though, the perfect kinds of tunes to dance to; but she'd never actually seen him bust out any moves.
Hawks knocked back the rest of the wine that was in his cup before standing and holding out his hand to her. She stared at the outstretched appendage for a moment before sliding her incredulous gaze up to his face. "Seriously?"
He shrugged and asked, "What's wrong?"
"There's—no music," she stuttered in reply, cringing at the way it sounded like she was reaching for some kind of excuse to turn down his sudden dance proposal.
He shot her a mildly exasperated smirk before walking over and setting his phone down on ledge of the rooftop, stepping back as it began to play a slow and melodic instrumental tune that sounded like something from a movie soundtrack. Holding his hand back out to her, he tilted his head a bit and asked, "Better?"
Seeing no way out of the predicament she'd unexpectedly found herself in, Misaki quickly downed the rest of her own wine before tentatively slipping her hand into his and letting him pull her up from her seat. At least he'd opted for a slow dance instead of some upbeat club music. That surely would have made her even more uncomfortable about the situation than she already was. Not that she didn't want to dance with him, she just didn't really have any experience in that particular area.
As he placed his free hand on the small of her back to draw her closer, she nervously admitted, "Um, so… I've never actually danced with anyone before."
He smiled down at her softly and murmured, "Just relax. I'll lead you."
She swallowed heavily and nodded, taking a couple of deep breaths to try and calm her racing nerves. He slowly and carefully began to guide her, moving in a small radius around where they were standing. She tried to make herself relax, but her movements seemed uncomfortably unnatural, even to her. Glancing down at their feet, she took a few more deep breaths and just concentrated on the steps, trying to distract herself with the mechanics in an effort to ease her flaring anxiety. It wasn't really helping.
"Misaki, look at me," Hawks's soothing voice spoke into her ear and she lifted her eyes to his. "Don't worry about your feet. Just keep your eyes on me."
She slowly felt her anxiety begin to subside as she lost herself in his captivating stare and before she knew it, they were gliding smoothly across the concrete rooftop. It was amazing what kind of difference it made to surrender her mind and just let her body take over, which was not something that would have been remotely possible for her if she didn't have implicit trust in him to lead her. Dancing had never been something that she'd taken to, mostly because she'd always tried to avoid any unnecessary attention in her effort to keep a low profile growing up. But she had to admit, it was fun. As she gradually began to grow more comfortable, Hawks began to lead her into some bolder moves, adding a spin or a pivot here and there.
"You're pretty good at this," Misaki commented as the music suddenly changed to something a little more upbeat.
Hawks smirked down at her and replied, "I have a good partner."
Misaki narrowed her eyes and playfully drawled, "Liar."
"I'm serious! You've got good natural rhythm, you just needed to relax a little." He suddenly spun her away from him in a twirl before pulling her back into his arms. "See? Natural."
The world around her suddenly seemed to focus down on their immediate vicinity and Misaki found herself becoming entranced by the sight of Hawks's lips. She swallowed thickly, opening her mouth to take a breath as she leaned in a bit and their movements slowed to a halt. Sliding her hand inside the lining of his coat, she slipped it up around his neck as she lifted her gaze back up to his slightly hooded golden stare. Her heart began to race in her chest as he leaned down with clear intent to kiss her and she tilted her head in anticipation of what was sure to be more than a light peck when something wet suddenly splashed against her check and she jumped.
Misaki blinked a few times in surprise, bringing her fingers up to her face and staring down at the moisture on her fingers as she asked, "Is that—?"
The sound of thunder suddenly rolled in the distance and they both turned their heads to look off in the direction of her apartment. A flash of lightning lit up the clouds just before another crash of thunder swiftly followed. Her shoulders slumped in dismay and she groaned. No wonder the riverbank had been so deserted; people must have seen the storm developing on the weather forecast and decided to visit earlier in the evening before the rain started. She was a little surprised that Hawks hadn't taken the weather into account himself. She might have said something if she had bothered to check the forecast throughout the day, but she'd been so busy it had completely slipped her mind.
A few more droplets began to fall from the sky above them and Hawks swiftly lifted Misaki into his arms, sending a few feathers to grab his phone and her wine bottle while a few more flew off somewhere with the trash. He was in the air a second later and headed for her apartment, which just so happened to also be in the direct path of the storm. Thanks to her flight gear though, he was able to fly a bit faster than he normally would while carrying her and they made it to the balcony of her apartment in a little under three and a half minutes. Of course, by the time they got there, they were both completely soaked.
Hawks swiftly removed his key from his pocket and let them inside before quickly sliding the door shut against the heavy wind and the rain. Misaki couldn't help but shiver in the cool air of the apartment, wrapping her arms around herself and rubbing them to try and generate some warmth.
"I'll grab some towels," he offered, noticing her discomfort, and hastily kicked off his wet boots before hurrying off in the direction of the bathroom.
"We might as well just throw our clothes in the laundry and get in the bath," she shakily replied, still shivering from the cold as she set her gear on the end table next to the couch.
Hawks immediately stopped in his tracks.
They both seemed to realize what she had said at the same time as they slowly turned their heads to stare at each other across the darkened living room. The silence stretched between them like a taught bowstring, just waiting for the right moment to snap; a moment that swiftly arrived on a bolt of lightning flashing across the sky outside, and they were across the room in each other's arms a split second later.
Misaki clutched at the lapels of Hawks's coat as his lips swiftly claimed purchase of her own, wrenching it open and pushing it off of his shoulders. He dropped his wings to let it slide off of his back, shucking his gloves before reaching for the zipper at the back of her dress. His pants and her dress hit the ground at the same time, and he lifted her against him a second later to carry her off to the bathroom. The rest of their clothing swiftly followed once they made it inside. Adding to the pieces Hawks had picked up from the living room with his feathers, they all managed to make their way into the laundry with his coat being the sole exception. He'd laid it out over the heated drying rack she usually used for her towels and undergarments instead; it wasn't made to be machine washed.
The warm spray from the showerhead rained down over both of them as Misaki's back hit the tile wall beneath it. Her lips were once again captured as Hawks's warm skin pressed against hers and she lifted her arms to wrap around his neck, letting herself get lost in the heated kiss. His hands felt like they were everywhere, gliding over the skin of her hips to trail up her back before slipping around to cup her breasts. She moaned into his mouth when he began to roll her nipples between his fingers, and she unwrapped her arms from around his neck to trail her hands down his defined pecs. He softly broke the kiss, giving her a bit of a reprieve while he trailed his lips along her jawline and down the side of her neck.
Taking the opportunity to regain some focus, Misaki reached out for the shower gel in the dispenser on the wall and pressed her hand against the lever to dispense a generous amount into her palm. Bringing her arms around behind his head, she poured half of the shower gel into her other hand before laying her soapy palms against the sides of his neck. She ran them over his shoulders and the backs of his biceps all the way down to his hands, slipping her fingers through his before trailing her way back up the front of his arms. Gathering a bit of the residual soap on his shoulders, she ran her hands over his chest and underarms before sliding them around to his back. The water from the showerhead above had rinsed most of the soap away by the time she'd reached his behind though.
Misaki suddenly felt a few soapy feathers wrap around her wrists and ankles, and she glanced down at them as they began to work their way upward, swirling around her arms and legs. She tossed a playful glare up at Hawks. "Cheater."
He smirked down at her and lightly kissed the tip of her nose. "If I worked at your pace we'd be in here all night."
Shaking her head slightly, she dispensed another handful of shower gel into her palm and started running her soapy hands over his torso, working her way down around his hips to his backside. Hawks tilted his head down and captured her lips in a slow and sensual kiss as he gathered his own handful of shower gel and began to work on washing her neck and chest, leisurely working his way down her abdomen and around her hips to caress her backside before trailing up the length of her back. Misaki slowly trailed her hands over his hips to gently wrap around his manhood and Hawks pulled his head back, cracking his eyes open slightly to stare down at her from behind hooded lids while she carefully washed him. She saw his eyes flash and his feathers ruffled slightly when she cupped his sack and ran one of her fingers back along his perineum.
A slow smile spread across her face and she leaned up to place a soft peck on his lips. "Relax. I'm just being thorough."
He smirked back at her and told her, "Be as thorough as you want. I'm not complaining."
All of a sudden, she felt the water from the showerhead above them stop and he drew her into a deeper kiss, just before a more concentrated stream of water began flowing up her right arm toward her shoulder. He must have switched the spray over to the handheld showerhead to rinse them off. Her hands continued to leisurely stroke his hardening length as he ran the water over her chest and down her other arm. Switching gears, she released his shaft and took the showerhead from him, rinsing the residual soap from his body as he began running his hands and lips over her skin once more. Once they were free of soap, she replaced the showerhead in its holder and pushed him back a bit, grabbing another handful of shower gel before carefully kneeling down on the tile in front of him.
She wrapped both of her hands around his left thigh, working her way down to his feet and back up his right leg. Her legs were typically the last thing she washed. Since she used a moisturizing oil to shave them, she preferred to do it after her bath, so the oils could have a chance to soak into her skin. Seeing as Hawks was aware of her routine, she wasn't surprised that he had skipped washing her lower body like she was going for him. He let her work mostly unhindered, gently running his fingers through her wet hair and down the side of her neck, making her shiver every so often. She reached up to grab the handheld showerhead once more when she was finished washing his legs and carefully rinsed all of the soap away before returning it to its holder.
However, she remained in her kneeling position in front of him. Glancing up into his eyes, she carefully reached out to wrap her fingers around his hardened shaft before leaning in to run tongue all the way up from base to tip.
Sliding her eyes shut, she closed her lips around his exposed glans and sucked him into her mouth while moving her hand up and down his base. She heard him sigh her name as she took him in as deep as she could, moving her tongue along the underside of his shaft and creating a slight suction with her cheeks as she pulled back. He'd always been pretty receptive when she went down on him, and she enjoyed watching and hearing his reactions while she pleasured him with her mouth. The honey lilac scent of her shampoo hit her nose just before she felt his fingers delve back into her hair; apparently he was taking the opportunity while she was blowing him to wash it.
She moaned around his shaft as he began to firmly massage her scalp with his fingers, working the shampoo through her damp, dark strands until it bubbled up into a foamy lather. Ever since she was a child, she had always enjoyed the feeling of having her hair played with. Letting herself relax into the feeling, she pulled her head back a bit to suckle on his tip while her right hand steadily stroked his length and she reached up with her left to gently cup his sack. She felt his hands leave her hair and the gentle spray of the handheld showerhead replaced them a second later, the warm water flowing down over her soapy strands to wash the suds away. When he moved the showerhead away from her scalp and down along the length of her hair, she took his shaft back into her mouth as far as she could while running her finger along his perinium again, this time with a bit of pressure. His hardness pulsed in her mouth and she heard him moan softly as his hips bucked and he shivered.
He was getting close; she could feel it.
Before she could drive him over the edge though, he suddenly gripped her by the shoulders and pushed her away from his straining length before lifting her back up to her feet. He dropped his hands to her hips and turned her around before pressing himself up against her back and murmuring in her ear, "My turn."
A soft sigh passed through her lips and she shivered at the feeling of his lips ghosting down the side of her neck. He turned up the pressure of the spray on the handheld showerhead and began trailing it over her chest, concentrating the water on her nipples as his hand slid around her hip and headed for her core. She tossed her head back and moaned as he slipped his middle finger through her damp folds to caress her bud, rolling her hips back against the hard line of his erection pressed against her lower back. He nipped as her earlobe in response and slid his hand back up her lower abdomen as if to admonish her for the action, trailing the water down her torso while his hand continued to drift up toward her breast.
She rolled her hips forward and tossed her head back against his shoulder, moaning aloud when he pressed the showerhead between her legs to assault her core with the spray. It wasn't exactly an unfamiliar feeling for her; Misaki had engaged in this sort of play before, with and without Hawks, on several occasions. They both knew exactly how to position the spray to illicit the most pleasure, and he'd gone right in for the kill. The combination of his fingers massaging her breast and his mouth on her neck with the spray of the water against her bud had her panting and writhing against him as her moans began filling up the bathroom. She pitched forward to brace her hand against the wall in front of her to escape some of the sensation assaulting her and she felt his hand drift down from her breast to slip around the edge of her hip.
The feeling of his fingers suddenly invading her depths drew out a sharp gasp from Misaki and she reflexively pushed her hips back against his hand in response, moaning through her teeth as she clamped them around the edge of her bottom lip. He let her dictate the pace with the rocking of her hips until she was panting and mewling with each thrust. She reached up to caress her own breast, sliding her eyes closed and losing herself to the rioting sensations pulsing through her core, focusing on her building release when he suddenly removed his fingers from her center and adjusted the water pressure to a lighter spray. The flames of her passion simmered back down to a slow burn and she groaned in frustration, reaching out to turn off the water before standing up straight and turning around to face him.
Taking the showerhead from him, she replaced it in its holder and glared at him as she grumbled, "Stop teasing me."
Hawks smirked, stepping forward and reaching down to stroke her clit with his finger while countering in a seductive tone, "I thought you liked it when I teased you here."
Narrowing her eyes at his response, she dropped her hand to palm his erection and matched his tone in reply. "I've had enough teasing."
Misaki moved his shaft into position at her entrance, but he pulled back slightly and said, "Wait."
She leaned into him and wrapped her arms around his neck, grinding her hips against his to rub his straining length against her folds as she whined, "No more waiting."
"I'm just gonna get a condom," he assured her, his voice slightly strained from the effort of holding himself back while she pressed a few open-mouthed kisses against his neck.
"Leave it," she persisted, running her teeth over his earlobe and sending shivers cascading through his body. "I want you inside me. Now."
He immediately pressed her back against the wall, lifting her leg over his hip as he positioned himself and surged forward to enter her in one, swift motion. She gasped and clutched her arms around his neck at the intrusion, digging her fingernails into his back and whimpering at the stinging burn that accompanied the sudden and intense pressure pushing past her tight entrance. He was rarely rough with her like this, only when she pushed him past the point of his fragile control did he enter her so harshly. She was sufficiently wet enough that she wasn't worried about tearing, but it was still uncomfortable, nonetheless. The pain quickly faded away though, and she clenched her inner muscles around his length, moaning softly at the feeling of just having him inside her. Misaki savored these moments, as few and far between as they happened to be.
Hawks pulled back a bit to gaze into her eyes, his expression contrite and his voice slightly hoarse as he said, "Sorry."
Misaki smiled up at him, softly brushing her fingers back through his hair at his temple as she sincerely told him, "I'm okay."
Delving her fingers into his hair at the back of his head, she guided him down into a kiss and began to slowly grind her hips in a semi-circular motion. He responded in kind, leaning in and wrapping his arm around her waist, pulling her away from the wall and bending her slightly backward over his arm while he devoured her lips. He began to tightly thrust his hips against hers, snapping forward to drive his rock-hard length deep inside her. It was almost too deep, and she shifted her hips slightly to adjust the angle of his penetration away from her cervix to around the area of her g-spot. She broke off the kiss and tilted her head back against the tile wall, sighing in pleasure every time his glans rubbed against her internal bundle of nerves with each thrust.
She tightened her walls around his shaft with every withdrawal, hoping to cause enough friction to bring him as close to the edge as she was at the moment. After all of the teasing from earlier and being robbed of release, she could feel the frustrating stagnation of pleasure settling around her loins preventing her from reaching completion. She tilted her head back up and dropped her leg from over his hip, bringing her clit in contact with his shaft and rubbing against it with every thrust. A deep moan rumbled up from her chest and she closed her eyes, concentrating on the combinations of sensations coursing through her. Her breaths left her body in harsh panting moans and she shuddered, clenching her abs and rolling her hips when she felt her release start to build.
It crashed down upon her all of a sudden, erupting in a flash of white-hot sensation that burst through her nerve endings, radiating outward from her core. She tossed her head back and cried out, trembling and clutching at his shoulders before burying her face into the crook of his neck and softly moaning his name as she rode out her orgasm. He pulled out of her suddenly and she cracked her eyes open to glance down between them, watching as he swiftly stroked his hand over his shaft for a moment before he let out a soft groan and his own release shot out over her lower abdomen. She moaned at the sight of it and began kissing her way up his neck to his ear, running her teeth over his earlobe above his ruby earring and drawing a shuddering sigh and a ruffle of feathers from Hawks. He unwrapped his arm from around her waist and stepped back, tilting his head to place a full, languid kiss on her lips before resting his forehead against hers and letting out a long, satisfied sigh.
Misaki glanced down and ran her fingers over the semen coating her stomach. "Now I'm all messy."
Hawks let out an exasperated scoff and turned the water back on, grabbing the handheld showerhead and rinsing his release off of her belly while commenting dryly, "You were the one who wanted to do it without a condom."
He replaced the handheld showerhead and switched the spray back to the overhead as she moved toward the cabinet on the left wall, sliding the door to the side before removing her leave-in conditioner and a comb. "That didn't mean you had to pull out. I have a morning after pill in my medicine cabinet."
She caught the raised eyebrow, along with the sidelong glance he shot her when she turned back around, and she shrugged as she walked back over to lean against the edge of the bathtub. "It's just in case of accidents…"
He took a generous handful of his own shampoo and began working it through his wet hair, remarking wryly, "I don't think this counts as an accident, Misa-chan."
She grudgingly conceded his point. It wasn't like she was trying to pressure him into anything, she just liked the way he felt inside her uncovered. The experience seemed more natural to her that way. They'd only had completely unprotected sex once in the three and a half months that they'd been dating, and he'd made sure to pull out then too. She'd gone to the pharmacy the next day to get a morning after pill anyway and had made sure to keep one in stock for emergencies ever since. The last thing she needed after starting a new and promising career was to get pregnant, and she was sure Hawks was no more ready than she was to deal with the aftermath of that so soon into their relationship.
Keeping her eyes trained on the tiles beneath her feet as she combed the conditioner through her hair, Misaki tentatively announced, "I've actually been considering going on birth control lately."
She wasn't just saying it to see how he would respond; she really had been considering it. Ever since the first time they'd been intimate. He'd never brought it up, nor complained about using a condom, so it hadn't seemed like much of an issue until she'd had to start stocking morning after pills. Since neither one of them were in danger of STDs, it just seemed like a safer and more hassle-free alternative than relying on condoms to protect against pregnancy.
"No need to do it on my account," he called out from under the spray of the shower as he rinsed the shampoo from his hair. "I'd probably still use a condom most of the time."
"Why? You don't like it bare?" She asked, glancing over at him as she twisted her conditioned hair up into a clip at the back of her head.
He shut off the water and ran his hands back over his wet hair before turning his head toward her and pinning her with a hooded stare. "It's the opposite." She stood when he walked over to her and he reached out to settle his hands on her hips, holding her eyes with his sultry golden gaze as he explained in a low tone, "I have a hard time controlling myself when there are no barriers between us."
She slid her hands up his chest and around his neck, smirking up at him as she playfully replied, "Who said you had to?"
Tilting her chin up with his finger, he placed a soft kiss on her lips and said, "Let's just let it be a treat for now."
"Okay," she quietly pouted, though she wasn't too let down by his response. If he wanted to wait until they were more used to each other, that was fine with her. There was no rush. They had plenty of time to get to know one another, both in and out of the bedroom.
Two strong hands suddenly gripped her behind and Misaki let out a startled gasp as she was suddenly lifted up against Hawks's torso. She wrapped her arms and legs around him and stared down into his eyes as he drawled, "Now about that bath…"
She let out a playful giggle, smiling as she leaned down to kiss him while he stepped into the full tub.
