Episode # 2 - Osborn Academy
Things are looking pretty well for Peter Parker to be the new hero in town, Spider-Man. For only Kimberly 'or Kim for short', her little step-brother Jason Brooks, and their smart friend of a mouse name Dexter know about his secrets. Helping out a hero to be skillful and a fan of his, while him being as Peter himself tries to get the girl of his dreams to slowly be dating with each other. For another day to be going on in town - for Spider-Man goes after a new villain name the Jackal to steal and use a type of machine gun at the hero while giving him the chase; for him to be Peter and telling Harry to be there soon at Oscorp for something big to go down 'talking while fighting', odd...
"Hold on, let me get to a better spot, Harry." Spider-Man said while running after Jackal and talking to Harry at the same time. "How about now? Can you hear me now? Good. 'Cause what I was saying was I'm coming, Harry. I just got a little caught up in something."
He was trying to while also stopping a bad guy secretly.
"What could be more important than my dad's unveiling of the Osborn Academy for Geniuses?" Harry questions his friend.
A very big day at Osborn Academy to go down for Peter and the others to see.
"Nothing." Peter answers back. "It's just the cops have all of downtown blocked off in pursuit of this Jackal guy."
Harry thought Peter was talking about an animal type of jackal. But not really.
"A jackal? Shouldn't they be calling animal control instead?"
Spider-Man tries to talk and still give chase with Kim, Jason, and Dexter backing him up.
"Very funny. He's a super villain who stole some..." Spider-Man catches his phone from Jackal throwing punches at him. "Stark tech." and another one. "Hold on a second."
Now Spider-Man swings into action to go after Jackal from jumping from one building to another, as Harry waits to hear Peter back on his cell phone.
"Still there? Sounded like the call got dropped." he asked.
Peter/Spider-Man was still good to talk.
"It did, for a sec."
"Just get your butt over here." Harry tells Peter.
The soon er Jackal's caught, the better he'll be there soon.
"I am. I'm just waiting for the traffic light to change. And there's the green I was looking for." he continues the chase. "I'll be there soon, Harry. I have a hunch this is all gonna clear up real soon. I hope."
As Kim, Jason, and Dexter told Harry the same thing while aiding their friend.
"Sis!" Jason tries telling Kimberly something as they ran after their friend/hero. "Sis!"
"What?!"
Dexter pointed out to Jason to call her out to sound very annoying to her.
"Finally, I saw Peter talking on the phone while fighting that thief of a beast. Did he tell Harry we were on our way to Oscorp in a bit or what?"
"From the looks of it, yes. And this new villain, he's pretty skillful for a type of animal to steal a machine from Star Tech." she then sees a lot of people to witness the whole chase from above to see the stairs were about to fall down. "Oh, no!"
Incoming danger!
"Everybody, look out!
From a girl name Gwen Stacey helps out save an old woman, everyone else to get away in time, and both Jason and Kim use they items to whack and cut down the rest to fall down the streets really hard.
"Uh, listen, Harry. I should really go. But don't worry. I should be there soon." Spider-Man hangs up to continue with the chase.
That could've been the people's bodies to get crushed, that was too close. For them to take care of the people and the mess, Spider-Man swinging around after the Jackal 'and the cops too in their helicopters'.
"Why bother fighting for the sky, when the whole city will soon belong to the Jackal?"
One shot, hits one helicopter for Spider-Man to hold on to and was about to fall on another on to crash for Jason, Kim, and Dexter 'to faint' witness the horrors.
"Ah, Sis...Spider-Man's falling!" cried out Jason.
Kim feared the worse to happen next.
"Spider-Man!"
Well, he was fine to make another web to hold to, before the part of the helicopter was close to hitting his butt. Spider-Man continues chasing after Jackal.
"I'm okay!" he said while swinging away.
This made Kimberly happy to see Peter/Spider-Man was fine for her, Jason, and Dexter continue to follow her.
"(Oh, Peter...) Let's go, you two!" she leaves first.
For Dexter to poke at Jason to getting back to the chase.
"Huh? Wait up, Sis!"
From stopping the helicopter from falling down, only to make it worse to go down a lot more, as Jason and Dexter get the people's attention to get away in time. And then Spider-Man saving the cops in the helicopter 'as Kimberly uses her staff to create a net to shoot out', since Kimberly helps him out; only for Gwen to be saved by...Jackal? Huh? That's weird.
"Looks like the two will be okay." said Spider-Man. "But now the Jackal has a hostage."
"Hostage?" Kimberly sees her friend from Horizon High. "Hey, that's Gwen Stacy! Jackal's kidnapped her!"
Spider-Man swings into action yet again to take the place a bit higher from another building to hold to.
"I'm on it!" For this girl like Gwen is, she can sure fight back. Punching Jackal to let her go, Spider Man saves her in time from falling to her doom, even though the two talked about on what they would've done instead. "There you are, safe as can be."
I like this female character in this show.
"Thanks." said Gwen. I don't mean to judge, but you know you could've just created a web fan and made a wind cushion from the helicopter's air pressure, right?"
She's as smart as Peter/Spider-Man is.
"Uh O Yeah. I mean, I guess that's one way I could've done that."
"But you still prefer your way, huh?" Gwen questions Spider-Man.
"Not to judge, but you know you could have just ended with "thanks," right?" he said. "I guess that's one way I could've done that."
For some strange reason, I like Gwen Stacy already.
"But do the people you put in harm's way usually greet you with a warm reception?" said Gwen.
As Gwen takes off, Peter forgotten about the reception thing to make it there with Kim, Jason, and Dexter.
"The Osborn Academy reception!"
Nice way to make a friend there. As Peter being Spider-Man swings on out for Kimberly, Jason, and Dexter to walk the rest of the way to Oscorp on foot to meet their friend there. Besides Jackal getting away with the weapon – the people, the cops, and Gwen were safe and sound.
"Nicely done, Spider-Man. (See you there, Peter.)" Kimberly then sees her friend. "Gwen, hey. I'm glad Spider-Man was there to save you."
"Hi, Kim." she hugs her friend. "I see you've already heard about Spider-Man who saved the many lives instead of chasing after that Jackal thing the next time."
"I did. But still, what did that thing want with you?"
Good question – Jackal just rescued Gwen out of nowhere.
"I'm not so sure. I could say the same why Spider-Man would've saved a lot of lives and stop Jackal at the same time by shoot off the webs at a ninety degree angle. But he made the right choice...somehow."
Seeing from some damages from the helicopter part was destroyed, and half of the glass of a building was gone.
"He just does what he does best really. Isn't that right, Jason?" Kimberly looks for her step-brother. "Hey, Jason, where did you run off to this time?"
Dexter pulls Kimberly's shirt to find Jason staring at Gwen to have a thing for her, though she doesn't see it 'yet'. Someone has a crush on this girl.
"Gwen Stacy..."
Yep, Jason was daydreaming.
"Is he going to be okay?" Gwen asks.
For Kimberly to pull Jason's body out of the city, the four make it to Oscorp building first before Peter does.
"(Jason, staring at girls won't make you win them over!) Its nothing, Gwen, let just get to Oscorp now." Kimberly said. "Follow us, Dexter."
With the mouse doing well and Jason in a daze, for the four make it there to meet up with Peter a few minutes later to be late to do anything else to watch the opening, bummer...Before that, Harry was happy to see Kimberly, Gwen, Jason, and Dexter arriving first 'and for Kimberly to hit her little brother on the head to finally snapping out of it."
"Ouch! What was that for, Sis?!" he questions Kimberly.
"Quit daydreaming!" Kimberly then sees Harry. "Sorry, Harry, but we're here to watch the opening. Knowing me who helps out the company because of Jason's parent and my part time job."
Looks like Kimberly works at Oscorp as her part time job, since Jason's mother and father helps out to give her something to do. She doesn't like some of the people, but she gets the day done.
"You're not working today, Kim, we're here to explore a lot more."
Dexter wanted to see more, as Jason and him check out the place after the speech was given...making Kimberly to bump into Harry to catch her in time. For Harry really loves Kimberly a lot.
"Jason-! Ah...Sorry, Harry."
"Its fine really. I guess we'll wait for Pete next." Harry was blushing. "He'll show up, so be happy that I'm here for you, Kim."
"And Jason..." she felt embarrassed. "Dexter's one thing, but not what he's around to act like a total weirdo."
Harry laughs for Jason was poking his head all over the place for Dexter to follow.
"Be happy you have a brother at all."
Harry Osborn makes a very good point there, but not as much as confessing his love for Kimberly since she was already taken by his best friend Peter. Does he know about it yet? Speaking of Peter, he finally show up to miss the speech.
"Did I miss it?" he asked to see the floor was empty. "Dart..."
"You did." Harry said.
For Kimberly, Jason, and Dexter were happy to see their friend, Peter felt bad to see it but had to stop Jackal as Spider-Man to make him so late.
"I'm so sorry, Harry. I was only..."
"I know, you're Peter Parker."
Harry was use to it, for Kim to check on Peter to look unharmed.
"You maybe late, Peter, but you have arrived to do something else with us." she said. "For Dexter's ready and for Jason..."
Jason was eating a lot of food again.
"I see...I'm glad I did arrived a bit late." Peter laughs. "Its great to see you too, Kim."
"Come on, let me show you around." Harry is the guide for his friend Peter to show him around the Oscorp building.
Showing them around to have Max and the other members from Horizon to arrive to catch up with, it was a nice building to be so high and a good view to see all over town. With Jason making faces on the glass windows, for Kimberly to see a lot more to the place and Peter the most. And today was for other people with smarts to getting into the Osborn Academy next.
"Amazing for your own father, Harry, to get others to join in." said Kim.
Seems that Kim wasn't too happy about Harry's father.
"It just having more people to reach for something in their lives to become the best of the best."
Then Harry's father Norman Osborn appears to say the rest about his company and private school of his.
"And it will top off out of everyone else. Like my son who has become class president."
This surprises Kimberly and Peter to hear about their friend Harry on that part, and shocks both Dexter and Jason the most.
"Class president?! Dude!" he said. "Awesome, huh Dexter?"
The little mouse agrees, as Norman was happy to see Kimberly again for being the best employer's in his company. A little bit too happy.
"And how's my proud student who makes anything happen, Ms. Brooks?" he asked.
Kimberly tries to act nice to Norman, since something was up with this man compare to Allister Smythe.
"Oh, hi Mr. Osborn."
"Please, call me Norman." he tries kissing Kimberly's hand only to see Peter next.
"Its nice to meet you again, Mr. Osborn." said Peter.
He sees that both Peter and Harry were very good friends.
"Ah, Peter Parker, have you come to enroll into Osborn Academy?" Norman asks.
"Well, I just got into Horizon High. But thank you for asking."
"Well, I hope you don't make a mistake to get ex-spelled like my son."
Norman sure likes joking around, a bit too much for Harry didn't want to be told about ti twice.
"Dad...!" he felt shy.
As Jason was running around for Norman to slow him down a little with one touch of the hand on the shoulders, he does for Dexter rides on Jason. That's one way to calm someone down.
"Huh?"
"There we go." said Norman. "Come now, we're about to begin. Come join me, Brooks. Just keep your...mouse on a leash."
He meant Dexter to act on his best behavior for Jason to do so, leaving the little guy to stick his tongue out at the boss of Oscorp himself. Kimberly understands her little friend there.
"I know, Dexter, I don't blame you either. (Because Norman Osborn...I have a bad feeling about Harry's father enough compare to Allstar himself. Those two are connected somehow.)" she said to herself
And Kimberly's willing to find that out soon enough. Soon Norman takes Peter, Kimberly, Jason, Dexter, and Harry the other parts of the Oscorp building; knowing Norman will do anything to clear Harry's name on the mess he didn't do soon and Max to arrive to for those two...they seem to get along just fine for Miles and Anya showed up as well for the tour.
"Hey, look Sis. Its Miles and Anya!" Jason pointed out.
For Miles to be an outgoing person to like Kimberly a little, Anya seem to have a crush on Jason 'without him knowing about it' and still gets the job done.
"How goes it, Kimberly?" Miles was acting cool around her.
Ans she finds Miles to be a bit odd but a good friend.
"Ah, yeah...its good. We were just waiting for Peter to show up."
"Hi, Jason." Anya said to be blushing.
"Ah, are you feeling well, Anya?" both Jason and Dexter check her forehead. "You don't feel hot."
She enjoys being this close to Jason, for them to follow Max to watch the interviews go down next.
"Right-! Yeah, Peter, you seem to be late than coming to school."
"There's a lot of traffic." he said.
Soon they hear another voice coming from Gwen to show up today as well to make Jason feel happy and in love.
"Then you should've taken the train."
"Hi, Gwen!" said the lovey dovey Jason.
Dexter looked at Kim to know that this was going to be a long day for them.
"Not again..." she said to tell Peter about it. "In case you were wondering, this is our other friend at Horizon High, Gwen Stacy. Also, Jason has a crush on her, but surprisingly Anya likes him more. I don't know why."
Peter was surprise to see Gwen again for saving her, but she can't know that he's Spider-Man.
"Hey, Gwen! This is Peter Parker." Miles introduces Gwen to Peter.
"I know who you are..."
With her saying that, this surprises Kim and Jason to think that Gwen knows of Peter to be Spider-Man. That's not good!
"You do?!" Peter was shock. "Where?! How?! Who told you?!"
"I heard about you saving the school from the project that went out of control. And I also see Kimberly's been talking about you a lot." Gwen said. "Must be love at first sight."
The two looked at each other for everyone's guess but Jason and Dexter's for them to be dating already, but they were going slow in their relationship.
"Oh, yeah. We are..." said Kimberly.
"Kim...She's smart and cute..."
"Aw, how sweet." said Anya.
Aw, cute for Peter. For Anya was happy to hear; but as for both Miles and Harry...not so much.
"Ah, man! Dude, you made your move on Kim already?!" said the upset Miles. "Lucky."
As for Harry to say this instead.
"Congratulation, Pete, you're so lucky to find someone like Kim."
Taking a bit easy, isn't he? Well, a bit shock but Harry looks fine to never get mad at his best friend. So, that's a good sign.
"Hey, Harry!" Peter was blushing. "I get it, thanks."
And for everyone was all gather together, it was time for the tour.
"Come on, everyone. This way." Max calls out to them.
As they continue to follow Max and Norman of the interviews to be happening right now, they get to see on who was going to Osborn Academy and others to try signing up to it the best they could.
"So, what makes you think you have what it takes to be a student here?" one of the scientist ask each student at a time.
"My name is John Jameson, and not only am I studying astrophysics, but so far, the Space Agency has already adopted two of my ideas, while I've adopted their motto, "Failure is not an option."
From John Jameson, to Spencer Smythe...to be full of himself.
"Well, as the son of the brilliant Spencer Smythe, I already have the genes for excellence."
Then Flash Thompson...
Hey, what's up, bro? I'm Flash Thompson, and my genes are denim."
I don't think he will be joining. Next was - Anya? Well, she did try.
"Because I'm super smart, is why."
They ask Anya on her being in Horizon already.
"Don't you already go to Horizon?" another scientist asks Anya.
"What? I'm covering my bases." she answer.
Soon two more students go next for their were partners - Herman Schultz/Shocker 'with his gloves to create something powerful shock waves', and Clayton Cole/Clash can make sonic waves to life anything or an object in mid air. Together they can make it both happen at the same time. Amazing.
"I wish I can life stuff up like Herman and Clayton do it." Jason tries it with a ball and fails to grabbing hold of Dexter next. "Can you do it, pal?"
Dexter nodded a big no on that part. Leaving Kimberly to study the works on paper to write down.
"Incredible..." she was amazed. "The two can create from crushing to floating, causing a type of sound manipulating machinery when its use together as one. (Anything like it could be helpful for others in construction making and other power plants to help out with mankind."
"Very impressive, boys."
Soon Norman talks through the glass window on the other side of the room.
"Ms. Osborn!" surprise both Herman and Clayton.
Will they be going to Osborn Academy then or what? For Norman, he says this to them instead.
"I love both of your works very much, but do you have what it takes to improve your skills a bit more?" Norman asks the two boys.
"We can, sir?" they say it together again.
"Good...Good...Because I'm going to take one of you."
Once Norman said that part to have both Max and Kimberly to find this part to be very strange to have this happen suddenly. To Herman and Clayton didn't want to be separate from each other was bad enough.
"What?!" shock Jason the same as the other two. "Mr. Osborn, you can't do that to them!"
Dexter covers Jason's mouth in time.
"Shh...Jason, keep quiet. I know this looks bad, but we can say a thing to stop Norman, but we can try fixing it somehow when it goes down."
Good call, Kim.
"Goes down? What does that mean, Sis?" this has Jason worried.
"Just trust me." she said. "(Is this your game, Norman?)"
So that what will both Herman and Clayton will do next. For Norman needs a solo to help him in his work, an for them to start fighting with each other to use their own creation against one another. Now Jason and Dexter sees what Kimberly was getting at for Norman wanted this; as his bodyguard uses another item to create a shield to protect both him and his son Harry from the glass shattering from Clayton and Herman's weapons. From glass shattering and all, there was no stopping them to have nickname by Shocker and Clash.
"Is that all you got?" said Clayton.
The blast was also destroying the other glasses and the table.
"Oh, you want some more?" Herman fires one off.
Peter had to step in to do something and fast to freak Dexter out from his ears were hurting him to cover them up.
"This has got to stop!"
Trying to shield the two scientists, for them and Peter to get blast away for Kimberly to run over to see them fall.
"Peter!" she calls out to him.
"No, Pete!" same with Harry.
However, Peter quickly uses his webs to make parachutes to land safely for Peter to swing to change into Spider-Man to race back to Oscorp building right away. For Jason, Dexter, and Kimberly quietly sigh of relief to back him up with their weapons.
"Sis, you know what this means, right?" Jason had his claws ready and Dexter's. "Now can we stop those guys?"
Kimberly has her staff to go all out.
"Yes, Jason, we can. Because I believe something like this will have Spider-Man coming to the rescue in no time."
Trying to step in front of Herman and Clayton to stop firing, Spider-Man appear next to separate the two as well.
"Have no fear, Spider-Man's here!" he said to aid the other three. "Alright you two. Quit it! If it wasn't for my webs, innocent people would've gotten hurt!"
Ah, I don't think they'll be listening to anyone right now...Not for them from the looks of it. For the fire to go off down below, and someone was dumb enough to set the fire alarm on to make more sounds.
"There's a electrical fire down below!"
Kimberly and Spider-Man knew right away that something was about to happen.
"Don't touch the fire alarm!" they said. "It'll create more sound!"
But it was too late Clayton fires one off right back at his friend that might cause another explosion other others to get killed.
"Hey! Stop! Don't do it!"
Like Jason's yelling would do anything to work, it was up to Spider-Man.
"Ah, maybe I can create another parachutes for everyone!" he said.
True, but that would be worse if Spider-Man did that too late.
"No!" Kimberly added to make lots of management on everyone's feet from falling out of the building. "The more people strapped down, the safer they'll be!"
"Just try to make a web net!" Gwen added.
"On it!" and with that for Spider-Man to make a web net in time before another sound wave goes off by Clayton's doing from firing a big one. "Everyone all nice and stucky?"
It did work thanks to Gwen's word to have Spider-Man and Kimberly to have Anya, Jason, Dexter, herself, Harry, Miles, Gwen, and the others studies were stuck and didn't fall out of the building. Good to know.
"Spider-Man's a show off, huh?" Herman uses his glove to make himself fly. "I'll show him who's boss for auditioning."
Clayton flies too by proving who will be the best.
"And may the best student win!"
And off they go down below the building to fight the rest from outside. As Norman was enjoying the show of his, Spider-Man swings on down...
"I'm even conditioning!" he takes off. "Ah, you three better take an elevator."
Kimberly goes to do that to meet up with her boyfriend/partner for both Jason and Dexter to come up with something to stop the two boys besides fighting.
"(Be careful, Peter.)" Kimberly leads the way. "Jason. Dexter. Let's see what we can do to give Spider-Man a hand."
"Race you down, Sis!"
Jason runs down stairs with Dexter the fast as he could go, for Norman to like how Kimberly thinks of things very well.
"From one thing to another...I'm enjoy this very much, even from your skills the most, Ms. Brooks." he said to himself.
What an odd person that Norman is, you know? I mean very real for someone who owns Oscorp. And the father of Harry. Still, Spider-Man jumps with to web his way down to stop both Shocker and Clash from using their deadly powers against one another 'for Kimberly, Jason, and Dexter to do something to aid their friend/hero'; to have two friends go against each other to have one of them go to the Osborn Academy. This was getting way out of hand.
"If you wanted out of this partnership, Herman, you should've just said so." he tries to tell his friend.
"As opposed to sabotaging it, like you did? You're the one who wanted out." he says back.
"I just didn't realize it included the friendship."
Having Clash to lose his sounds to make more, Dexter comes in to distract Clash to getting into his system is one of Spider-Man's plan to do – for Jason, Kimberly, and Spider Man to make a scene next.
"Hold it right there, boys!" said Jason.
"This ends right here, right now!" and Kimberly.
"And how can any of you two make it to Osborn Academy when you will both be in detention for the next 30 years?" same with Spider-Man.
The three have gotten those two there to be right about it, but again...neither Clash or Shocker will listen to neither one of them.
"Hey!" Shocker couldn't find Dexter to be anywhere. "Where did the mouse go?"
"Who cares!" Clash spoke up. "And don't know you, super hero, you think you are, but I won't let you get in my way my so call friend!"
One blast from Clash send Spider-Man flying to try to swing away again leave Shocker to block it for Jason to feel shaky, and Kimberly escapes in time. As Henry tries to find Peter from the fall 'or so he thinks', Kimberly sees the worse for Clash's powers hits the air tanks to send the flying out of a truck all over town. For the truck driver gets out in a hurry.
"Ah! They're gonna blow!"
And off they all go to destroy a lot of things for Kimberly to make lots of goop to try some dangerous things to go flying.
"Jason, duck!" she warns her step-brother.
"Duck? Where-?" Jason gets hit to go flying are in to Shocker to feel silly. "Oh..! This type of ducking!"
Kimberly could feel that part just by looking at that scene. With everyone else to watch out as well, Spider-Man saves Harry in time from getting hit too. A close call there, but not as much as Harry really hating Spider-Man a lot.
"Get off me!" Harry pushes Spider-Man away.
Talk about harsh.
"I was trying to help you." he tries to explain.
"You're never helping. And what did you do to my friend Pete?"
Oh boy, Peter, better come up with something to say.
"I webbed him a parachute." said Spider-Man. "He should be around here somewhere."
"Well, he's not. So, help me find him or I'll tear you apart!" Harry means business.
Not time for that, a tucker nearly gets hit to have his vehicle crash on the streets to cause things to get worse. It's fine, Peter/Spider-Man, go save the others.
"I I'm I gotta I'll be right back!" using his strength to slow down the truck to saving the man's life.
Even Kim's staff as an anchor gave Spider-Man a helping hand.
"No need to thank me, Spider-Man." she said. "Come on! We got some boys to restrain!"
As Jason and Dexter kept their eyes on Clash and Shocker for the fight to get crazier, but even worse for Jackal to be making a scene...
"Time to see whose tech has the strongest impact."
"I think we both know the answer to that!" but it suddenly stops working. "Huh?"
"Hey! What are you doing? You've never had the power to do that."
"It's not me. Someone's siphoning the juice from our tech."
For Jackal has done it with the stolen Stark Tech machine.
"Not someone. The Jackal. With an assist from Tony Stark, of course." Jackal takes the weapon from the two boys. "I'll be taking that."
They couldn't stop Jackal to be very strong. As Jason, Dexter, Kim, and Spider-Man arrived to try to stop Jackal and the two weapons to be use for chaos.
"Jackal again...?" surprised Jason. "Can you come back later?"
"I don't think he'll listen to reason, Jason." Kim corrects her little step-brother. "I mean, come on!"
So it was up to the four of them to stop Jackal this time.
"Don't tell me you're auditioning for Osborn Academy too." Spider-Man makes a joke. "They are gonna have one crazy debate club."
Jackal fires his new weapons at Spider-Man to swing on out of there and Kim does to use her staff as a power air wave to be pushed up, while Jason climb away with Dexter holding on to him.
"Crawl for your life!"
"Less complaining and more fighting!" said Kim.
Incoming another Jackal attack.
"Going somewhere?" he fires it again.
So now the two boys had to help the four out to stopping the weapons right away.
"Spider-Man! Aim for Clayton's chest plate. He hasn't worked out the bugs, and it can't take a direct hit there."
Good to know.
"Hey!" this makes Clayton a bit mad. "That's a side effect of design, not bad planning. While you're at it, crush the wristband of Herman's gauntlet. That's where he houses the power source."
Good, they've made up. And for Spider-Man and the other three to slow down Jackal from attacking them, how can they...?
"He's too fast!" said Jason.
"And too strong!" and Kim.
They have to go with the boys' advice.
"Thanks, fellas! The question is how do I get near him?" Spider-Man sees something to come up with a very good idea. "Of course! A worker can withstand the vibrations of that jackhammer because he's wearing shock absorbers."
Using his webs to cover his entire body with to try it out in battle, this leaves Jason and Dexter a bit confused.
"Sis, why does Spider-Man look like a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man?" Jason asks his older step-sister.
Jackal fires away, but it bounces off to work out for Spider-Man after all.
"It worked!"
"But...How?!" shock Jackal.
Soon Spider-Man beats him down and Kim joins in with her staff now becoming a whip.
"Easy, Jackal, it's because...we know a thing about science to beat your butt!"
Well, Spider-Man was still having trouble moving in the webs he made to have him and Kim fall down. Enough for Jackal to have the two boys Shocker and Clash to fall to their dooms. No!
"Ah, you guys...Jackal's gonna drop the guys!"
Hurry and lose the webs, Spider-Man, and for Kim to get back up to save some more lives and fast.
"Aww. I can't separate such devoted pals." said Jackal. "So I'll take you both out!"
Dropping them for Spider-Man 'with his Spidey Senses going off' had to try to save the boys since was all out of webs for today. Kim thought of another science thing to do.
"Man, I am not a fan of these split-second decisions."
Kim uses her staff to throw the construction sign to Spider-Man to have one web left to make a fan-like thing.
"(Yeah...This could work.)" she does it. "Spider-Man! The sign, spin it fast like a fan! Use it to slow down their fall! Hurry!"
With one web line left, Spider-Man gives it a whirl.
"But a different fan might finally work here." he gives it a shot. "Thanks, Kim!"
Just in time to not fall to their dooms.
"Wow...It worked!" surprised Jason and Dexter.
Well, it was bad enough for Jackal got away again, but...it was still better to have the two boys not fight anymore.
"That's twice now he's gotten away." said Spider-Man.
"Yeah, but we'll get him again next time."
Kim was right. Also, Clash and Shocker apologize to Spider-Man, Kim, Jason, and Dexter after what they've...sort of done today.
"We're so sorry, man."
"Yeah. I don't know what got into us."
All has been forgiven.
"Just don't do this...again." said Jason. "But it's cool now."
For them to go back to Osborn to face their punishment the easy way than the hard way, Kim, Jason, and Dexter join with them. Same with Spider-Man too because he ran out of webs completely. For Max, Miles, Anya, and Gwen were fine.
"I still can't find Peter." Gwen tells Max.
Still, its odd they all got out of Spider-Man's webs so easily.
"Hey! How did you get out of my webs?" he asks Gwen.
"Wasn't so hard. We just whipped up a simple chemical compound, - and they dissolved pretty quick."
This has Jason loving Gwen so much, as Dexter just sits back to watch the show.
"What a woman..."
"Really?" surprised Spider-Man.
I guess so. As for Clash and Shocker, they weren't going to jail. As Norman felt bad to let this happen – he allows Shocker in Osborn. Sorry, Clash. Max hates how Norman does his work.
"This is no way to run a school, Norman." he said. "Pushing the boundaries of science is one thing. But crossing ethical lines is not something you want to encourage."
Not kidding!
"We get it, Norman." Kim says something too. "So Shocker made it and Clash knows his friend will do well, and yet...all of us could've died!"
No kidding! But like this will faze Norman one bit.
"Competition breeds excellence, Max. I'm surprised you don't know that. But you run your school the way you want to, and I'll run mine the way successful people do." he said back. "And I hope you'll learn your place too a little, Ms. Brooks."
For Kim to not like Norman so well but good friends with Harry, Jason and Dexter hates this guys from the very beginning.
"I'm surprise he's all talk and very cold hearted."
"Yeah, but like he gets it. Not like Harry does...At times." said Kim.
As everyone leaves for Max hates Norman's idea for everyone else to hear about Peter Parker was saved to get going. And for Spider-Man to remember Gwen telling him about making a fan, it worked.
"By the way, I wound up using that fan maneuver you suggested. It helped save the day."
She knew Spider-Man would pull it off somehow.
"Of course it did." said Gwen. "Too bad I couldn't help you stop - the Jackal from getting away again."
Talk about getting burned, again.
"Ouch." this gets to Spider-Man. "But I got the Stark tech back." this made Gwen laugh. "So that's a...Who am I kidding? She's right. It's not a win until I bring the Jackal in."
Forgetting about not have anymore web fluid, Spider-Man climbs back down. As Kim, Jason, and Dexter walk about with the others to leave Norman be; as he wanted to show Harry from his work to be working on 'as he really hates Spider-Man. For Harry's father will do anything to make it all happy with his machines. A lot to be done. Hmm...I really don't like this guy to say to not have his machines fall into the wrong hands, yeah right.
"You can do great things, Harry, I know you will." said Norman. "And with having good friends like Ms. Brooks, I see a bright future ahead of you."
What did he mean by that? I know Harry sort of has a thing for Kim, but was he really jealous of his best friend Peter to be with her instead?
"Thanks, Dad." he said. "Pete in love with Kim...?"
Oh, boy...Elsewhere at night time, Jackal goes to someone's house being his, for his real name was Raymond Warren, who was also Gwen's uncle for her to not know about his darkest secrets. Not good. And as Kim, Jason, and Dexter were welcome at the cafe place where Peter and Harry hang out at, it was fine to have Harry think otherwise 'just as long as he doesn't know about Peter being Spider-Man' then it was all good.
"This place is great!"
Jason and Dexter were enjoying themselves.
"It's fun having you guys around." said Harry.
"Thanks for the invite, boys." Kim smiles to see Jason acting weird when eating again. "It just for Jason to act weirder than usual, I can live with it."
And it was a good thing Peter came up with something for Harry to believe in his disappearance to believe in it.
"I don't know. As I was coming down, the wind changed direction, and I landed directly in the East River." said Peter. I still can't get the smell out of my clothes."
Nicely done. As Peter was being grateful for Spider-Man's work, Harry doesn't like the super hero at all.
"I'm telling you, that Spider-Man is no good. Kim. Jason. Dexter. It's best for you guys to stay away from him as well."
Dexter didn't wanted to nor did Jason.
"But why...?"
"He saved my life, Harry." said Peter. "And yours too."
Kim steps in to say something as well to Harry.
"Not to mention without my help in science, Spider-Man would've been a melt batter."
Oops, Peter, say something to not have Harry notice who you really are for Kim gave him a sign.
"Uh...Didn't he?" Peter asks Harry about it instead. "Didn't someone say he saved you or something?"
"For Jason and I to know Spider-Man, I think he did." Kim said for Peter.
"Hmm." he buys it. "I'm still not convinced. So, we'll just have to agree to disagree."
Good enough to live with it. To also learn a lesson today, a very big one.
"That's the great thing about us, isn't it, Harry? We can disagree about things and still stay best friends. I can't believe those Shocker and Clash guys turned on each other the way they did."
Let just hope with the things are going right now, it'll stay just the way it is."
"I know. To let something like school get in the way of their friendship is ridiculous. And for you, Pete, goin out with Kim...Keep her happy, or I'll do it instead." Harry makes a joke.
"Harry, I'm fine. Peter's understanding guy who gets me."
For Kim to support Peter, she likes Spider-Man as a hero, and her Peter Parker as her boyfriend.
"I know, I'm still here for you." he said to be raising his glass next. "Pete, let's never be like them."
And be careful with it too.
"Never ever." he does the same to hit his glass drink with Harry's. "And the way Kim and I hanging out a lot, I'll keep her happy."
Cheers to that. Good friendship for Harry and Peter only to stay strong, and hopefully for Shocker and Clash to be the same thing – together or apart. As Kim stays close to hugging Harry and Peter, everything was good to have Spider-Man as the hero in New York City with lots of things to be done. And some villains to catch. I guess some things are best left unsaid for sure.
