Sonny's POV

It was Friday, which means the weekend is finally here! So I was in Danny's car with the guys to the bonfire. Aunt Diane said she'll watch Sophie for me so Sophia and Daisy can play. So we drove to pick Doody and Putzie up and drove to the bonfire. We've noticed Putzie was really quiet. "How are you feeling?" He looked up at Danny and looked down again.

"I'm gonna miss him." He told him.

"I know pal, but he'll be back." Danny said.

But Putzie just looked up at him.

"Come on buddy, just try to have fun tonight." Doody said putting his arm around him and Putzie just nodded his head.

"Kay." I heard him said quietly.

I smiled at him.

"That's my boy." Danny said as he parked his car on the football field. "Ok fellas, let's go." We all got out.

"I can't wait to see chicks in cheerleading skirts!" I grinned widely.

I saw them shook their heads.

"C'mon Sonny, you gotta stop thinking about that." Danny told me.

"Why do you care?" I asked.

To be honest, I rather be with a girl who has class and is just fun to be around, and of course has great sense of humor!

"Danny, can you stay with me tonight?" I heard Putzie asked. "Since Phil won't be home tonight."

"Sure buddy." Danny said patting his arm.

"Thanks." Putzie said watching the cheerleaders.

"No problem buddy." Danny said.

I turned around to see Doody dancing, I think…then we did something that we have done so many time.

"Do a split, give a yell. Shake your tit for old Rydell!" Doody, Putzie and I sung.

Then we performed the Three Stooges routine and then I heard Danny says groaning, "Guys…be cool huh?" I realized we're nearly watched by people.

"Hey, watch out pinhead." Doody say as we looked over to see Kenickie in his new car and Danny walks over to him.

"Uh, what do ya think?" Kenickie asked.

"What a hunk of junk." Danny joked.

Then we laughed and Kenickie slaps Doody's chest.

"Wait 'til I give it a paint job and soup up the engine. Man, she's gonna run like a champ. I'm racing her at Thunder Road." Kenickie said.

"Thunder Road?" Doody asked.

"Yeah! You wanna make something of it?" Kenickie asked.

"Uh-huh. I wanna see you make something of this heap." Doody said.

Kenickie pulls Doody close to him.

"You're cruisin' for a bruisin'." Kenickie threatens.

I looked up to see the T-Birds' rivals, Leo and the Scorpions. Wait, why are they here? This ain't their turf!

"Hey! What are Scorpions doing here? This ain't their turf." I said as the guys looked to where I was talking about.

I stood on top of the hood of Kenickie's new car.

"Think they wanna rumble?" Kenickie asked as Danny stood up on the hood.

"Yeah, well if they do, we're gonna be ready for 'em." Danny told him.

Then we looked over at the Scorpions driving and then the leader Leo showed his fist at us and we watched them leave.

"Those guys are asking for it man!" Kenickie said getting out of the car and I went to stand next to Kenickie.

"Yeah." I agreed.

"Well they're not gonna win." Danny said as he looked at us. "They're going down, we're the T-Birds fellas."

"Yeah!" Doody said smiling.

Danny rubs Doody's hair as I grinned.

"That's my Howdy Doody." He said. "You know, if we fix up this car, it could be make-out city. You know that?" Danny asked.

I laughed.

"Right! A chick is gonna have to put out before she even gets in!" I said.

The guys laughed.

"You better believe it man!" Kenickie smiled and I laughed.

"Hey Zuko!" A voice called out.

We looked over to see Rizzo and the Pink Ladies.

"I got a surprise for ya." Rizzo says smiling.

Danny asks while chuckling being cool, "Oh yeah?"

"Yeah." Rizzo replied.

Then Jan pulled the cheerleader out in front of Danny. She was actually cute, wait is she the girl he met at the beach? She doesn't look like the type to do all the things Danny told us boys on the first day. But wait, why would Danny lied to us? To be honest, she're pretty cute! For a good girl!

"What are you doing here, I thought you were going to move back to Australia!" Danny said really excited and surprised.

I never seen him this excited all of my life...epically over a girl!

"We had a change of plan." Sandy replies happily.

We moved up behind Danny.

"That's cool, baby. I mean you know how it is. Rockin' and rollin' and whatnot!" Danny said with a laugh.

We looked over at Sandy.

"Danny?" Sandy asked.

"That's my name, don't wear it out." Danny said laughing and so were we.

"What's the matter with you?" Sandy asked.

"What's the matter with me, baby? What's the matter with you?" Danny asked her as we laughed.

"What happened to the Danny Zuko I met at the beach?" Sandy asked.

"I do not know. I mean, maybe, uh, maybe there's two of us, right? Why don't you take out a missing-persons ad or try the yellow pages? I don't know." Danny asked while laughing and I felt Doody draped his arm around me.

"You're a fake and a phony and I wish I'd never laid eyes on you!" Sandy yelled angrily while throwing her pom, pom down and I watched her ran off with Frenchy running after her.

Whoa…who was that chick?!

"I wonder if she carries silver bullets." Kenickie joked as I laughed.

"Yeah!" Doody yelled.

"Whoa! So, she laid her eyes on you, huh, Zuko?" Putzie asked.

I knew he felt so bad for the girl! To be very honest, I don't blame him though! I mean, she's different….good different and I know it was very wrong of us fellas to laugh at such a cute chick like her.

"Hey, I bet that's not all she's laid on him." I said as they laughed.

"Yeah, right!" Doody yelled.

I looked up to see Danny walking away.

"Hey, Zuk, I got a car, remember?" Kenickie yelled out to Danny.

I waved to Danny to come back.

"Come on Danny!" Doody yelled.

Kenickie and I walked over to his car, opening the door.

"Alright. Who's got beer money?" Kenickie asked.

"Well, I swiped my brother's I.D." Doody said.

"I got $250." I told him.

"Alright. Gimme that, gimme this, open that, gimme the gear. Alright. You ride in the front with me." Kenickie said to me.

So we all got in.

"Well that was mean to hurt a girl's feeling." Putzie spoke up.

"Shut up Putzie!" Doody, Kenickie and I shouted.

Kenickie and I turned to see Danny looking…guilty and depressed? I looked over at Doody who mouthed, "I think that's the girl he met at the beach." And Kenickie let's out a sigh before speaking.

"Hey Dan-o, you ok?" Kenickie asked as he looked back at us.

He smiled a little.

"I'm fine, let's just get outta here please." He begged.

The guys and I looked at each other and back at Danny.

"Was she the girl you met at the beach?" Putzie asked him.

"Fellas…" He warned.

We just looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders as Kenickie and I turned back to the road to start driving.

"Hey Kenicks, did you see them chicks in cheerleading skirts." I said, trying to break the awkward silent.

"Yeah man." He said grinning.

"And Marty was lookin' great!" I added.

I saw him chuckled at me and playfully pushed my head.

"Hey!" Sonny cried out as I laughed.

He laughed at me.

"Oh Sonny my boy, you are something ya know that." He winked.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Oh whatever." I protested. "She'll like me. Someday."

He looked over at me and patted my shoulder.

"Just wait kid." He told me as I just nods my head.
