Cristian's Point of View

She had been breath taking. I saw her as she talked with Ashla Carson, keeping perfect cool. With an air of confidence around her it was obvious who held the power in that situation. It was actually kind of funny seeing her after all this time finally meeting her match. Me and her had been put together while the adults talked 'nice' with one another. I had the feeling that if mom's dream wasn't to be an Auoror, she wouldn't be taking any of her superiors shit.

I never got to look her in the eye; but the back of her head was certainly pretty. I was debating walking up to her and introducing myself, when a man walked into the waiting area. Aberforth, he called himself. I think I remember dad telling me stories about the final battle. I think he was dumbledors brother? I couldn't be sure; I wasn't paying as much attention as I should of.

Entering the great hall for the first time was amazing. The ceiling showed a cloudy sky. It looked so real, "alright everyone. I will put this hat on your head, and it will sort you." The hat looked musty. I honestly didn't think I wanted that thing on my head. Absolutely scaring me it came alive. I was stunned, I had seen magic before, but still.

I watched as a bunch of people got sorted until it was my turn, "Longbottom, Cristian!" Swallowing my sudden nervousness, I got to the hat and it was put on my head. Oh, another Longbottom. Where to put you? Where to put you? I know "Gryffindor!" Gryffindor, I kept back a sigh of relief. The house mom and dad were in. I proudly walked over to the cheering Gryffindor table.

Hoping I wouldn't trip. Dad always said I would grow out of it, like he did; but with the past elven years as reference, I didn't think my coordination would be changing anytime soon. I sat down next to my technical uncle, teddy. He was only a year older but being the legal child of my grandma; he was my uncle.

"I'm glad for you! You got in the best house. Now all you have to do is make Gryffindor proud!" He usually acted like this unless something drastic happened. I watched the girl who stood up to Ashla and her brother, or at least I thought he was. I really couldn't judge if he wasn't, I did have an uncle a year older than me.

"Volturi, Willa!" I felt a lot of people were waiting for this. It was in the daily prophet that the women-who-won's kids were going to Hogwarts this year. Of course, no photos had been taken of them, so no one really knew what they looked like. No one really even knew their names, except the 'girl group.' Mom had told me once about there girl group.

This was why I was surprised that the girl I was watching moved from where she stood. She sat there as the hat got put on her head. It sort of hit me then, the Carson's may be a powerful wizarding pureblood line but the Volturi was technically royalty; if only from the vampire slice. I felt slightly repulsed, it was one of the things that we were taught as young kids. Vampires drank from humans, so Willa was probably a killer, and then I surprised myself further as the thought 'so what?' Came from my consciousness.

So what? So what! She was probably a killer! but I couldn't feel any repulsion to Willa herself. What was wrong with me? "Volturi, William!" Her brother walked up and five seconds later he was a Slytherin too. They sat together. Part of me actually wished I was a Slytherin. Um… where did that come from? I mean she was pretty, but I wasn't sure why I felt this way. It wasn't like I was in love with her or something, then why did part of me wish it was true? Uuugggghhh!

Willa's Point of View

"Now continuing on, no one is to enter the third left corridor in the dungeons or risk discipline." I wonder what's down there. I rolled my eyes. Of course, you would wonder. He was quick to recover his wounded pride. You're curious about it too! I elbowed him discreetly. "Now it's time for the feast to start. I hope all of you enjoy your year at Hogwarts." Then a bunch of food was spread across the table. There was blood, wonderful! In a goblet no less.

It felt comical, I was going to become the stereotypical vampire in front of anyone who was watching. Except it wasn't going to be directly from a human. Neither me nor will had drunken blood directly from the source before. Sipping the blood, the taste entered my mouth. It was wonderful letting instinct take partially over, and mom wasn't hear to make sure I ate human food.

(Time Skip)

The feast had ended, and we were now in our respective dorms. As a hybrid I only needed a selective amount of sleep. Perhaps three or four hours, but that didn't mean I wouldn't get eight if I had time, "oh, that's a cute cat. What's he called?" I turned around to see a girl with blond hair and glasses. Yes, glasses, it was very rare to have bad eyesight if you were a witch or wizard. Her eyes were a stunning shade of blue. It reminded me slightly of dumbledors eyes. The twinkle in them was certainly there. She was currently petting him. "His name is sir Timoteo Montenegro the third." She looked confused, "because sometimes a fancy tittle is all you need."
