Chapter 8, power paws.

Tessa: what?

Oakley points to the screen. A young dog is sniffing close to the place the circle of the power paws their power source is.

Oakley: what is that circle?

Tessa and Marshall look at each other

Marshall: can you see that circle?

Oakley: yeah? I'm not blind

Tessa: what if I would say their are only 5 dog on this planet who can see it.

Oakley becomes silent and starts to understand what the 2 dogs are hinting at.

Oakley: no that can't be possible?

Marshall: I guess it is. And so is that dog

On the screen Marshall and Oakley can see the dog going into the circle.

Tessa: wait a second. That should mean...

Oakley: is the team complete?

Tessa puts on her serious face

Tessa: I guess so.

Not much time later tessa sees the dog who was at the circle looking around the entrance of their lair.

Tessa: marshall, go around the back entrance and ask the dog why it is here.

Marshall: copied.

Marshall goes to the dog

Marshall: hey

Unknown: o eh hey, member of the power paws!

Marshall: why are you here?

Unknown: wel I was at this weird circle I had dreamed about earlier and after that something told me to go towards this area. I have no idea why or anything.

Marshall: okay, so you want to say you are part of our group.

Unknown: eh what do you mean?

Marshall: look, that circle is our power source. We got our powers from it. Only the dogs who are worthy of the powers can get them.

Unknown: so...you want to say I am worthy and should become part of the team.

Marshall: wel yes. we created this group so together. We could become the legend who had the powers in the first place. We just want to lend a paw where needed and we hope to find every member. With you, we are as good as completed. So what do you say?

Unknown: sounds cool but I am shy. That's not good for the job right?

Marshall: if your chosen, you are worthy. No matter what past you have or what traits you have. We all have our own lives when we are not beeing these helpers. And we understand if you have that to.

Unknown: okay, I'll give it a try.

Marshall: great! Let me ask our dog in the chair to ask if you can come in.

Tessa: yes

Marshall: okay, follow me.

Marshall walks into the cave with the drawings of firefighters still in it.

Unknown: did you make those?

Marshall: a very long time ago yes. I used to live here before I,...moved to a better place. :)

Unknown: cool. You and Marshall could be best friends. He also loves firefighting.

Marshall: wel maby I'll see him around one day. He lives pretty close to here right?

Unknown: in the same town. I think you 2 would really get along.

Tessa and the others are laughing their lungs out

Tessa: okay *laughes* we should stop laughing before it gets obvious.

Oakley: o yeah of course. I thought she made a joke for a second but she actually does not know.

Boomer: wow that even made me laugh.

Marshall unlocks the door into the lair from the cave and the 2 pups go down the elevator.

Marshall: this is tessa, she is the dog in the chair. She makes sure we know what to do during our missions and has build this lair and all our gadgets.

Unknown: wow epic! Nice to meet you tessa.

Tessa: what is your name?

Marshall: o wow I actually forgot to ask.

Hazel: no problem. My name is hazel, im a Jack russel terrier.

Oakley: nice to meet you. I'm Oakley

Marshall: he is probably a power paw to but we did not bring him to the circle yet. We just found out he might be worthy because he can see the circle true the tv. Only the pups that can get powers from the circle can see it. That's why tessa can't see it.

Tessa: we saw you at the circle and we were going to keep an eye on you but you decided to come to us. Makes the job way easier by the way.

Oakley: but what is your power?

Hazel: I have no idea.

Tessa: their are only 3 powers left.

Boomer: wait, that does not make any sense

Marshall: yeah. Their are 5 dogs and 6 different powers?

Tessa: I can't find much about this "6st power." Only that it's something really important. More I can't find.

Boomer: that's strange.

Someone comes down the elevator

Everest: I think I've missed something.

Everest had her suit on just like boomer and Marshall.

Tessa: this is hazel. She is probably a dog worthy of the powers.

Marshall: and Oakley maby is to.

Everest: man I've missed a lot.

Hazel: where have you been then?

Everest: on a trip with my owner. We like to go to colder area's.

Hazel: you and Everest would get along wel. She also likes to go to the north pool.

The others try to keep their laugh in. Everest had no idea what to respond to the young dog.

Everest: yeah, sounds cool.

Boomer: maby we should show each other who we actually are and look. That will maby bring some... understanding to this situation.

Hazel's mouth drops as she sees the 2 paw patrol pups reveal themselves

Hazel: ohhh that why you guys are so alike in personality.

Tessa: never mention their real names during a mission. Probably the most important rule

Marshall: I know this has nothing to do with what we are talking about right now but during the mission me, boomer and Oakley did, we heard a good slogan we should maby use.

Boomer: yeah it was a good one. Exactly where we stand for

Tessa: yeah I heard the mayor talk about it, sounds good.

Everest: what is it?

Marshall: for land, country and world.

Hazel: sounds good.

Everest: I agree, that's indeed what we stand for.

Tessa: okay, boomer. Can you join Oakley and show him the place of the power source? To see f he can still see it. Let him get hismpowet if he can.

Boomer: sure thing, you coming Oakley

Oakley: man, this is a big responsibility.

Tessa: im sure you can do it.

Oakley: okay, what are we waiting for.

The pup runs after boomer who is already walking towards the elevator to the back entrance.

Tessa: marshall, Everest. Can you guys lead around hazel and tell her what she needs to know. I will go look what powers are left and what they do.

Everest: sure thing

Hazel: i still can't believe I'm going to be working with pups from the paw patrol

Marshall: haha I remember tessa saying that when we decided to join her plan of creating what has become the power paws.

Everest: yeah that was fun.

Hazel: so how do you 2 mix this with beeing a paw patrol pup?

Everest: I don't really have to worry, I'm not needed as much. But Marshall is a different story

Marshall: it has been pretty hard making sure that no one discovers my identity. If especially my or Everest's cover would be blown. We would be in big trouble. Everyone knows who I am and where I am. Really easy for bad guys to track down.

Everest: we don't want our friends and family in danger so we have done our very best to keep our identity covered.

Hazel: that's why you have a voice changer of a boy.

Everest: yeah, sort of yeah.

The pups tell hazel everything she needs to know and go back to the place tessa was.

Marshall: and? Anything?

Tessa: hazel. Could you try to imagine. You are in a light hallway. People are chasing you and you are very afraid.

Then suddenly, hazel disappears.

Everest: wait, where did she go.

Hazel: what do you mean I'm still standing next to you.

Tessa: think of something happy.

Suddenly hazel is back and appears right in front of Everest.

Everest: now I can see you again.

Hazel: what do you mean?

Tessa: hazel, you have invisibility powers.

Hazel: wait really.

Tessa: come with me.

Tessa takes hazel to the big empty hall.

Tessa: try to become invisible.

Hazel disappears.

Tessa: how did you do that

Hazel: wel I saw that I could do that so I had no fear that it would not work.

Tessa: if you ever don't know if you are invisible or not you can always just look at where your paws should be.

Hazel: o yeah right I don't see them

Tessa: now try to come back

Hazel appears

Tessa: WoW you already have it under control! Great job.

The 2 pups return to the others. Boomer and Oakley come inside. Emediatly they notice his power because Oakley decided to skip the elevator and teleport himself right next to tessa and caught her off guard.

Tessa: okay, don't ever do that again *laughs*

Oakley: oh sorry. I'm just very excited.

Boomer: if you had not noticed. He is very teleport happy.

Everest: did he really teleport the whole way back?

Boomer: with the waiting for me to catch up to him only to teleport 10 feet further for me to catch up again as a treat after dinner.

Oakley: oh that would be yummy! A treat after dinner!

Boomer: it was just a reference. That will never happen in the history of dogs.

Tessa: true but it would be nice.

Marshall: trust me, your belly wont like it.

Everest: hoe do you know.

Marshall: rubble did it once, Regretted it.

Roger: wow so this is what a just completed super hero team does, talk about treats after dinner.

Oakley: exactly!

Tessa: everyone, come look at this. I think you guys are going on your first mission.

Unknown 1: get it ready. It's finaly time.

Marshall: do you think it's.

Everest: the weapon!

Just a reminder that next chapter will be the last chapter of this season! I am so happy to finnaly have everything I made on paper and ready to show everyone! Hope you enjoyed/ will enjoy. Bye :)
