Nurse Bella - 4 years in the future
"Well, that was quick." Emmett pointed at the screen, causing everyone to turn to look at the tv.
"Nurse? I didn't know Bella was interested in any medical professions." Esme said, surprise, glancing at her husband.
"Neither did I." Carlisle raised an eyebrow, interested to see what this Bella was like.
"God damn it, Alicia, pick up!" Bella hissed into the ringing phone, her steps quickening as she went down the hospital's back stairs. The sound of shouting and gunshots echoing from above her on the higher floors.
As a twenty-two-year-old nurse in Los Angeles with no college debts, Bella's life was going pretty well. She had an apartment in a nice area, enough money to pay the rent while living relatively comfortably, and a pretty albeit young girlfriend. The latter being unplanned but still a rather pleasant surprise. Especially after getting her heartbroken by that two-timing bastard Edward Cullen.
"And there it is," Rosalie smirked at the mention of Edward.
"At this point, I think it will be shocking to see a world with Edward and Bella together," Alice muttered under her breath. Hearing a growl from Edward upstairs, she winced, apologizing to him in her mind. The fact Edward couldn't hear her thoughts at the moment slipping her mind.
Unfortunately, it appeared that someone up there didn't like how good everything had been going for Bella. One minute, she was treating a patient, rushing only a tiny bit, wanting to call her girlfriend. (A rather difficult task at times, given that Alicia's mother still didn't know they were dating or that her daughter was gay.) Then the next minute, the army was breaking down doors, demanding to know which patients were sick, what type of sicknesses had occurred, and which ones had died recently.
"Ooh, secret girlfriends." Emmet wiggled his eyebrows.
Barely ten minutes later, the first gunshot rang out. The panicked screams and shouts through the ceiling letting Bella know that the soldiers had shot a dying patient, as well as a doctor who refused to cooperate with whatever they were doing.
That was all it took for Bella to make her decision and run towards the stairs, leaving behind her patient. Something that to some people might seem cruel... and probably more than a little unethical. But for Bella, it was a no-brainer. Her life was more important than a random person in need of a shot for some bite. Besides, she would almost assuredly never see the woman again and had become a nurse to make money anyway. Not because she liked helping people or felt the need to save lives.
Carlisle frowned, not sure what to think of this Bella or the way she left the person behind without a care. It went against his beliefs as a doctor.
Which led to now, with Bella going down the stairs as she attempted and failed to reach her girlfriend.
"Stop, Ma'am!"
Hearing someone call from the level above her, Bella increased her pace. Pushing her legs as much as she could, trying to ignore the pain as she practically leaped down the steps. Knowing there was a chance the person calling her was one of her coworkers, but not wanting to risk it if it wasn't.
"How has she not tripped?" Esme wondered as Bella jumped, not stumbling in the slightest.
Within a few minutes, Bella reached the bottom of the stairs and rushed out the emergency exit. The alarm that should have been on, surprisingly not going off, not that she would have cared if it did. Too worried about her inability to contact Alicia to care about a security alarm.
"Come one, come on." Bella held the phone up to her ear, trying once again to call her girlfriend, not pausing as she jogged in the direction of her apartment.
"...Bella?"
"Alicia! Thank God." Bella breathed out, relieved at finally being able to contact the girl. "Listen, you need to stay inside, somethings going on out here. The hosp... What the hell?"
Stopping in her tracks on her street, Bella stared up at the burning apartment building in front of her. Fighting and laughter coming from all over the road as people smashed cars, fought each other and broke into stores on the other side.
"-lla? Bella, what is it? What's going on? Alicia's panicked voice sounded from the phone.
"T-Their eating him," Bella answered back dumbfounded. Watching as a man who had gotten hit in the head with a bat, get back up and bite another man's ankle. Two others like him ripping a screaming man's chest open with their teeth, looking like something straight out of a horror movie.
"ZOMBIES!" Emmett shouted, grinning.
Rosalie grimaced, not liking how the tv focused on the disgusting sight of the feasting creatures. "Didn't we already see a world with zombies?"
"Maybe it's a different world." Jasper through in.
"What? Bella, what are you talking about? Where are you?"
Freezing, Bella watched as one of the two men stop attacking the body, then lifted his head, looking right at her. Blood and chunks of flesh hanging off its mouth.
"I-I gotta go, Alicia. I need to get out of here."

"Really?" Alice pouted, the cuts and screen changing constantly seeming to happen whenever something interesting was about to occur.
"Bella? BELLA!" Alicia shouted into the phone as she heard the sound of the beep.
"What's up with you?" Nick groaned from the couch.
"I-I don't know s-something happened to Bella." Alicia stuttered slightly, tightly gripping her phone as she thought of her girlfriend's call.
Sitting up quickly from the couch, Nick stared at Alicia's face, silent for a few seconds before saying anything. "Did she say where she was? Did anything happen to her?"
"Wait, so her mother doesn't know about Bella, but this guy does?" Alice blinked confused.
"They're probably related." Rosalie shrugged.
"N-No? All she said was something about people eating each other."
"Shit. Shit!" Nick hissed, running his hands through his hair.
"W-what is it, Nick?"
"Does she know our address? She needs to get her-" Nick began before beginning to dry heave.
"God damn it, Nick, we don't have time for this," Alicia said as she grabbed a rag from the table. Her worry for Bella having to be put on the back burner for a while as she stopped her brother from choking on his own vomit.
"See," Rosalie smirked smugly at Alice, flicking her behind her shoulder.
"He's an addict," Carlisle muttered to himself as he observed the teen on-screen, recognizing the signs.
One day later
"I don't know if you can hear this, Bella, but please pick up. Travis is now back with Chris and Liza. He also brought back an older couple with their daughter. Not my type, but I thought I would mention it... And those things you saw eating each other. I think I saw one, our neighbor. Nick said she was dead... God." Sighing, Alicia hung her head down, not wanting even to consider that Bella could be like that. "Bella, I haven't heard from you all night. I'm worried about you... Call me back when you get this."
"Who, who, and who?" Emmett stared at the tv, confused.
"Ignore them. They're probably just side characters." Rosalie sniffed disdainfully.
"Come on, Alicia, we need to go." Nick knocked on the door, walking past her room, carrying a backpack.
"Go?" Alicia frowned, getting up from her bed and following her brother. "Where are we going? I need to be here when Bella comes."
"...Alicia." Nick sighed, glancing around to make sure it was just them. "I know you don't want to think about it. But she's probably dead. You said it herself. She saw those things eating each other. Who's to say she did escape."
"That was a little rude," Esme said, feeling just as worried as Bella's girlfriend on screen about the fate of her adopted daughter.
"No... No." Alicia shook her head, and just as she was about to argue. Something neither sibling expected happened. The phone chimed. Hands shaking a little, Alicia turned on her phone, staring at the message she'd received.
'Not sure if you'll get this Alicia, I've been trying all night to reach you, but I just can't seem to get a signal. Anyway, I got your message. I'm fine... Though I'm worried about you as well. I tried to make it to your house, but with all the looters and soldiers about, I didn't make it very far. Right now, I'm in some makeshift military camp of some sort. No one knows I'm a nurse, and I think I'll be keeping it that way. All the other medical personal were taken away and brought somewhere else... Stick close to your family. I love you, Alicia... and I hope I'm able to say this to you face sooner rather than later.'
"Well, at least she's safe." Esme breathed a small sigh of relief, the other Cullens unknowingly relaxing just a bit, having tensed once Bella had disappeared from the screen.
"The military?" Nick frowned, reading over Alicia's shoulder. "...At least you know she's alive."
"Oh my god." Alicia covered her mouth, relief filling her at finally being able to contact Bella and know how she was doing, even if it was only through text.
"You better tell her where we're going while you can." Nick rasped, nodding at their mother and Travis, holding the rest of the bags.
Quickly typing out her message, Alicia got into the car, staring down at her phone. Smiling once she saw the message sent symbol.

"It worked?" Bella stared down at her phone, a little incredulous and now wishing she tried texting Alicia sooner than attempting to call.
'Thank god you're okay Bella, I've been almost panicking here. Mom and Travis are taking us to the desert. I'll try to let you know where we are exactly as we go so you can follow... I love you.'
"I'm not sure how much I like this Bella's girlfriend," Alice said as she read the message along with Bella—not liking how Alicia was willing to just leave along with her family to go to the desert—leaving Bella behind.
"Damn it, the desert? That's going to be a problem." Pocketing her phone to conserve battery life, Bella looked around her cage and fellow prisoners. Dozens of people behind metal fences, all locked in by the army after being found on the streets. "How the hell am I getting out of here?"
"That's where she's staying?" Esme gasped, leaning forward towards the tv.
Day two
'Well Alicia, how are you. The army seems to be bringing people somewhere, just like the nurses. A little worrying, but so far, I'm still fine.'
Day 4
'I just got your message, Bella. It looks like the connection is getting worse by the day. I'm fine as well. We're still home. The army came in and set up a camp, as well as fences around our neighborhood. So hopefully we can meet soon. Though the soldier in charge said, no one is allowed to travel between camps. Which camp are you in?'
"...How are they still able to communicate. This world is a zombie apocalypse one, right?" Emmett asked, now questioning what he'd seen before and if they were really zombies.
Day 7
'Phones almost dead, but I'm trying to trade with a new... person who was brought in. He claims he can get me a charger and battery, but we'll see. And I think I'm in the main camp. Don't really know for sure, though. How are you and everyone else doing?'
Day 8
'Mom and I are painting the house. Travis is out talking to the soldier in charge, and Nick is up in his room. Chris is on the roof doing something, and Eliza is taking care of the family Travis brought with him. Someone injured their leg or something.'
"Painting... Maybe you were wrong." Rosalie told her husband, ignoring the fact she'd thought the same.
Day 15
'A week, that's how long it took the new guy... Well, I guess now he's not so new... Anyway, he instead got me a new phone, so I have a limited amount of charge. More people got taken away here, and now I think I'm one of the few original people still left here.'
"Seven days? That's worse than some mail." Alice winced, the ever so slightest bit of sympathy welling up in her for Alicia... Of course, she still didn't like the girl, but she could sympathize with her.
Day 16
'Thank god, I suppose since this is a new number, you didn't get the last five or so messages of mine? Anyway, Nick is now swimming. Everyone else is doing the same as before... Though Chris is now painting with mom... I refused to do it... Again... For the third time.'
Day 17
'Did you know that apparently, nurses get better food and a bed? Still now sure how the new guy knows that. But I'm still not going for it... I wouldn't even get paid other than a hot mean. The floors good enough for now.''
Day 18
'The floor? You're sleeping on the floor? Maybe you should tell them you're a nurse to get the bed. Anyway, something strange is going on here. Travis also went out with the army today. Not sure what's up with that.'
Day 19
'So... Your brothers in the... Room across from me. Seems to be sleeping for the most part. Everything okay, Alicia?'
"As if those cages can be called a room." Rosalie snorted.
Day 20
'He's with you? I better tell mom then. She's freaking out.'

"Really, Strix... Come on. You took the only piece of jewelry I had." Bella glared at the man, more than a little annoyed at his smug attitude. That and he was outside the fence with Nick, somehow using a key he got from who knows where to unlock their cell. Unfortunately for Bella, however, her cell, while next to them, she didn't have the key to. So she was stuck and didn't have anything to left to trade with to get Strix to let her out.
"Let's go, Nick." Strix smiled, walking towards the exit.
Sighing, Bella looked at the man walking away, then at Nick, the teen staying still unsure of what to do. "If it helps Strix, I'm a nurse!"
Pausing, the man slowly turned around, his grin growing, "Well then, now you have some value."
"Value?" Esme frowned, not liking the way the man said those words.
"She's also dating my sister," Nick spoke up.
Standing up, Bella smiled at Alicia's brother. "Thank you, Nick, not that he needs to know that."
Using a fire extinguisher Strix slammed it down on the lock, breaking it and letting Bella free. "Let's go."

"Bella, where are you..." Alicia murmured under her breath, following behind her mom and Travis at a distance, leaving Chris by himself at the parking lot. Which to some may have seemed like a stupid decision, but Alicia couldn't help herself. She needed to see Bella. That and since her Mom wouldn't let her go with them while looking for Nick and Eliza. Alicia was forced to follow behind them.
Sighing, Alice stared at the screen, feeling a little resigned at the cuts and missing information. At least it's not ending on a cliffhanger with either Bella or Alicia reuniting... So far.
"Really, Bella?" Alicia stared at the fences from behind her hiding spot at the door. Now realizing why the other woman had been so vague, never describing where she was staying. "No wonder why you didn't have a bed."
Pulling her phone out of her pocket, Alicia decided to text Bella and ask where she was. Something that would make the search way easier than walking through the whole building.
"And she somehow still has service..." Emmet muttered, a little jealous now. His own phone service nowhere near as good.

'Where are you, Bella? I'm at your so-called room. Where are you and Nick?'
"Shit." Bella hissed as she read Alicia's message. Looking behind her at the creatures moving towards her, then at Nick and Strix, who were getting farther and farther away. Bella sighed before turning and running to a side door, backtracking her way to where Alicia said she was.
"So, there are zombies." Emmett nodded.
A few minutes later, and surprisingly not running into any of the creatures or Soldiers, Bella was back at the cages. All of which were now empty with not a single person in sight. "ALICIA!"
"Bella!" Alicia yelled, grinning, appearing from behind a door, running down the steps to her girlfriend.
"Missed m- Umph!" Bella groaned as Alicia jumped into her arms, immediately pressing kiss after kiss on her face. "Alright, alright... I guess that question is answered."
"...Alright, maybe she's a little cute," Alice admitted with a small smile as she saw the joy on Alicia's face at reuniting with Bella.
Pulling back while still holding her arms around her girlfriend, Bella glanced around once more. More precaution than anything else, knowing those things could appear at any time if they weren't careful. "Not that I'm not happy, but what are you doing here alone, Alicia. Where's your mom?"
"S-She's looking for Nick." Alicia stuttered slightly, having completely forgotten about her mom and Travis as she waited for Bella.
"Of course, she did." Rosalie rolled her eyes.
"Damn, alright, well, he's probably outside by now. I was with him when I got your message."
*BANG*
Hearing a sharp noise, both women turned to see a large group of the creatures exiting from the door Alicia had just been hiding behind a minute before. Grabbing Alicia's hand, Bella pulled the girl towards the only other exit.
"That could have ended badly." Jasper's eyes narrowed, noticing the positioning of the exit. Both Bella and Alicia quite lucky that no zombies followed Bella from the other door.
Running, Alicia looked over her shoulder before increasing her speed. Seeming to run in whatever open door they found. "Where are we going?"
Panting a little, Bella wiped a bit of sweat from her face and pointed at a window. "We can get out there, faster than a door, and lessens the chance of running into another one of those freakish cannibals. From there... I guess towards the desert to meet up with your family."
"Would that help?" Carlisle tapped his chin thoughtfully. Knowing that theoretically, going towards a place with heat might help the body decompose, but if the zombies were because of something supernatural and not science. Where Bella and Alicia went might not matter.

"We need to go," Travis said shakily, taking his blood-covered hands off the hood of his truck, a half-dead soldier groaning on the floor a few feet away.
"Gross." Alice's nose scrunched up.
Nodding, Madison, and the others got into their cars. However, just as she was about to start the engine and leave, she noticed her missing daughter. "Wait, where's Alicia?"
"She'll be fine. Bella's with her." Nick breathed out, resting his head back against his seat as he caught his breath, almost falling asleep.
"Good." Madison nodded, shifting into reverse, then paused. "Who's Bella?"
Then the screen went black.
"That's going to be an interesting conversation when they meet up," Rosalie smirked.
"If they do, the deserts a large place," Jasper added, knowing from his time traveling with Peter and Charlotte how easy it was to get lost in the desert, and he was a vampire.
Taking a sip of blood, Alice sighed and glanced at the timer on the mini tv, still going. When are we going to show up again? It's been three worlds since any of us appeared.

(A/N) Well, that's that. This is a little more story-focused so, I'm not sure what to think of this one, but it's done... and for the ones who haven't watched the show. The Clark family group is heading with Strix towards the Abagail, a boat at sea. So, Bella and Alicia are going in the wrong direction.

9. Fashion Bella - In Devil Wears Prada world
10. Hunger games Bella - Which, of course, would take place in the hunger games universe.
11. Survivor or the Challenge - Bella with most likely all human Cullens and maybe a few others.
12. Singer Bella - Bella is on the Poseidon boat (It's a disaster movie).
13. Shifter Bella - Bella with all three of the amazon vampires as her imprints.
14. Bella/Rosalie/Alice - Not sure what to do about this one, but it will be written eventually.
15. Widow Bella - Bella is Blaise's adopted mother and regularly seduces rich men's wives... While occasionally getting married with her spouses having 'accidents.'
These aren't in a particular order, and I'll probably pick them at random. If I forgot one, or someone has another idea. Message me, and I'll add it to the list.
As for the rest of the Bella pairings that don't have a story and are just Bella/? They are going to be added to the Bella list.
