[I do not and never ever will own Big Hero 6: the Series, or Big Hero 6 in it's entirity and stuff]

'Prisoner's Meeting'

[Set some time after the Series 2 episode 'Legacies', and after the 'Callaghan's Therapist' fanfic on Wattpad. Hiro & friends meet an old enemy who wants to make things straight with them, especially after the 'Fugitives incident'.

It all began some days after the SFIT Graduation Ceremony, following the Buddy Guards incident.

Hiro and Baymax had arrived outside San Fransokyo Prison, where GoGo, Wasabi, Honey Lemon, and Fred had arrived as well. They were all in their 2.0 suits.

"This is where you told us to meet, isn't it?" Wasabi asked Hiro. "It is." Hiro nodded. "This is where the letter I recieved said we were to meet."

"Are you sure?" GoGo asked Hiro suspiciously.

Hiro nodded. "Yes, i'll read it."

He got the letter out, and read the letter aloud;

'Dear Big Hero 6,'

'I am respectfully pleased to hear that you are no longer fugitives anymore. I want to stage a private meeting with you in person. Come to San Fransokyo Prison at 2pm, Saturday.'

"It's certainly strange." Wasabi said. "Even more so," he added, "that the letter isn't signed by anyone."

"This could be a trap." GoGo said, preparing her weapons.

"You're right, GoGo." Hiro said, "This could be a trap."

"All the same," Honey Lemon said, "we'd better investigate." She checked her phone. "It's 2pm now."

The team cautiously entered the building.

"I wonder who asked to see us, guys." Fred said, "I mean, it's not everyday we get accepted to a meeting held by a prisoner in San Fransokyo Prison."

Needless to say, Fred soon found out; for he, and the rest of Big Hero 6 soon found out that were meeting...

...Robert Callaghan.

"Miss Tomago, Mr Ginger, Miss Lemon, I have to say, congratulations for the graduation." Callaghan said.

"That's very nice to you to state, Professor Callaghan, thanks." Honey Lemon said.

"Sure wish I'd have came along to congratulate you, but..." Callaghan said, motioning to his prison cell.

"To be honest, Professor Callaghan," Fred stated, "I think orange really suits you."

Callaghan frowned at Fred.

Hiro immediately stepped up to his former professor. "Professor Callaghan," He asked, holding up the letter, "is this the letter you sent?"

Callaghan looked at the letter Hiro was holding. "Yes, yes it is." he said.

"No surprise that it was him who sent it, then." GoGo said.

Hiro agreed. "So, Professor Callaghan," he said, "What is it that you wanted to tell us about?"

Callaghan wrung his hands and took a deep breath. He managed to straighten up, and look at Big Hero 6.

"I heard all about what happened that caused you all to become fugitives." he said.

The team's jaws dropped in shock upon hearing that.

"How did you know?" Fred asked. "I mean, you weren't even there when it happened." he added. GoGo nudged Fred in the ribs, hard.

"Well, actually, Fred, you're right." Callaghan stated.

"He is?" Hiro, GoGo, Honey, and Wasabi all said at once, then glanced at Fred. "Yes, he is, uh, I mean, I am, er..." stuttered Fred, "Uhh, what are we talking about?"

"Well," Callaghan started, "As Fred stated, I wasn't there when Big Hero 6 became fugitives; I was still in prison."

"But," he added, "the guards often show me the newspapers about your accomplishments, and of what happens in San Fransokyo."

"At least you still know about everything we do." Wasabi said.

"I knew all about the incident on Akuma Island," Callaghan went on. "That was where you got involved with an evil glob monster, causing Officer 'Thickhead' Cruz to rank you as fugitives."

Big Hero 6 nodded grimly. They remembered that incident that made them become fugitives.

"But why 'Officer Thickhead Cruz?" Fred asked.

"It's my nickname for him, now." Callaghan said. "Considering what a idiotic jerkface he's become."

"Might use that for when I insult Richardson Mole." Fred said, writing the insult word down on a notepad.

"OK, well, Thanks for the meeting, Professor Callaghan," Hiro said. "We'll be leaving now. Fred's mom's oragnized a graduation party for GoGo, Wasabi, and Honey."

Big Hero 6 turned to leave. Hiro was just about to go, when Robert stood up from the chair he was sitting on, like he had done before a while ago.

"Hiro." he called, getting the young boy's attention. "You got a minute?"

"Guys," he said to GoGo, Wasabi, Honey Lemon, and Fred, "Callaghan needs to talk to me. I'll only be a minute."

GoGo, Wasabi, Honey Lemon, and Fred all agreed.

Hiro walked back to Callaghan. "What is it you wanted me for, Professor Callaghan?" he asked.

"I... have something to tell you." Callaghan said uneasily.

"OK, Spill." Hiro said firmly. "What is it?"

Robert looked at Hiro, and hesitantly paused, biting his bottom lip. He tried to think of how he was going to say what he was going to say without upsetting and/or angering Hiro further. He felt a sob catch in his chest.

"Chief Cruz came in here once," he admitted, "He asked me to tell him the identities of Big Hero 6."

Hiro's jaw dropped.

Unbeknownst to them, Wasabi, GoGo, Honey, and Fred were huddled by the door, listening to the coversation.

"It's true," Robert said, as honestly as he could. Who was he to lie to Hiro, after all? "He wanted info on Big Hero 6's identities, but I just told him about how you all saved Krei and my daughter, Abigail."

"I also said he was wrong about Big Hero 6," he added bluntly, "and I guess I was right."

"Well... yes." Hiro said, nodding. "You kind of were."

"I... was?" Callaghan said, surprised.

"Yes, yes you were." Hiro said. "Chief Cruz was definitely wrong about us. If it wasn't for us, his daughter Megan coulda been killed by Trina, Noodle Burger Boy, and the Buddy Guards. and so could lots of other people."

Callaghan nodded. "And Abigail coulda been one of them..." he mused, just quietly enough for Hiro not to hear.

"Well..." Hiro said hesitantly, "I guess we should thank you for keeping our identities secret. Thank you, Professor Callaghan."

He turned to leave, but then stopped, and turned to his former professor and idol. "This action, Professor Callaghan, somewhat proves there's still some good in you." he said, almost as if he'd regained his trust in him.

Callaghan stared anxiously, hoping Hiro would forgive him.

"But don't think for a second this lets you off the hook." Hiro said firmly. "I still haven't gotten over what happened to Tadashi, because of you, and neither have my friends. It'll be a very long while before we even consider forgiving you. Think of that."

Callaghan went quiet, as he watched Hiro walk to the door. He couldn't think of anything to say, for once.

he watched as Hiro left, and the door shut behind him.

Callaghan sat down on his prison bed.

"I guess i can call this a baby step towards forgiveness..." he mused.

He had quite a lot to think about.

Author's note:

Sorry for being late with the BH6 story posting, but I had a lot on my mind, at the moment, including the fact that Big Hero 6 the Series is officially ended.

Sure, Big Hero 6 the Series may be over, but the fanfiction is still gonna go on with it.

Spoiler alert: The next short coming up involves April Fools Day.
