Nymph has been selected by D.S. to be implanted later today.
I have again voiced my concern at Subject's ability to survive. Surely the previous testing has weakened its ability to regenerate.
D.S. has waved off concerns. Likely sees no use in a uncooperative subject.
Wish there had been more time for testing. Surely Subject has untapped potential.
...
Implantation had suspected outcome.
At least D.S. suspicion that regeneration-factor can keep up with damage seems proven.
Hope that Subject has enough reserves however, as Nymph seems to be taking a toll already.
Will monitor situation hourly personally. Assistant T.O. keep full-time watch.
If Subject expires, will at least have increased knowledge of Nymph lifecycle.
Must see about sedation however, as Subject has quite the volume if pushed. Heard screams all the way to cafetaria.
Will cancel cleaners for the duration of week to be sure. No way to ignore those anywhere on the grounds.

The wind was a relief in her hair, whipping it around her head and tying it into knots. Below her, waves danced over the water's surface. Moreau's Reservoir glittered under the moon, almost mirroring her upheaval.
It was - fittingly for her location - as if the realization of what she felt for Alcina had opened a floodgate. She wasn't sure if she could deal with all the emotions that had sprouted from dark cracks in her broken heart.
She had spend a whole day at Eva's grave, trying to gather her thoughts and attempting to determine the way forward.
It had been meant to just be a stopgap until she could focus on something else, such as the rescue, but... It had been four days and the Lycans had yet to return. Four days! The wind pulled on the feathers of her wings, as if attempting to snap them open.
Perhaps she should be attempting to use them. Surely flying would be faster than waiting for these damn Lycans.
Would she already have Alcina back had she realized this back when they first noticed her gone?
"Mother...?" A voice came from behind her, sounding strained.
Looking over her shoulder, she noticed Moreau, who had struggled all the way up here. "Did you honestly come all the way up here, Salvatore?"
"Yes." He hobbled over, remaining a bit behind her until she waved him forward. "We have not seen you for days..."
"It's not that strange for me not to see you all for a while." Sighing, she almost snorted at the fact that this time was certainly far different from usual. "You didn't need to come. I know it can't have been easy for you to get up here."
"I wanted to." He glanced at her, before turning his attention back to the waters below. "Being alone right now seems..."
"Are you lecturing me?" The priestess found herself surprised at the teasing note in her voice when she interrupted him. "Very well, I suppose. Has there been any news?"
He looked at her in shock, likely because she never had joked with him before, but shook himself free of it. "Donna is staying at the Dimitrescu castle. She brought the triplets gifts, at least according to Karl. Nothing else, but..."
"It's been a while since you were near the phone." She turned from the precipice, looking in the direction of the castle looming overhead. Perhaps it was wiser to have everyone be there instead of spread out over the area. Even if she would have wanted to continue her research, the worry of a return of the attackers remained and she did not want to consider what might happen if they did.
Alcina had been fearsome in close quarters combat, so if something overwhelmed her...
"Let us go there as well." Instinctively, she reached for him, freezing when a shudder ran through his entire body at her touch. God, had she ever touched him before? She had called him son - and failure, more often, if she admitted to it - and yet, had never touched him. "Perhaps I was overly hasty when ordering you all to seperate, fiul meu. Our family should be together, especially now."
She briefly opened her wings, catching the last bits of wind before heading down the hill, wrapping herself in black feathers. Moreau followed her slowly, seemingly in a daze.
She could only hope that the Lycans returned soon, because it felt like time was running out for her eldest surviving daughter. She was only vaguely aware of things outside the village, but from what news trickled in, infected did not live long as a rule.

Subject has fainted after 4 hours. Cell-generation seems drastically accelerated.
All vitals at highest point since measurement started (can Subject suffer from heart-attack?)
Few times it appears as if regeneration went overboard, brief tumors forming before being reabsorbed into Subject-body. (Perhaps Subject not as stable as believed)
Room on lock-down with constant camera-surveillance.
Can't have outbreak now!
Scans of Nymph show spurt-like growth. Wish I knew more of their lifecycle so as to better determine feasibilty of Subject.
Perhaps if Subject survives until Nymph-maturity, can re-implant other Nymph to determine patterns of growth.
Measurements unclear, but Subject-size seems to have increased on camera. Perhaps risk opening door to take precise measurements.
Should send someone for the three entities. If related, they might have similar regeneration-factor and be useful as well.
