"Alright, we're up to the final three doors." ZS said. "We're close to saving Mark! Let's give this eighth door all we got!"
The group opened the door, to find themselves in a barren field under a red sky; there was no mistaking it: the Underworld.
"The Underworld." Ace said.
"Oh, I gotta bad feeling I know what's coming…" Eddy said as the black smoke took the form of Subtilizer.

"Subtilizer…." Hope said. "It was his actions that set Ira free. Everyone stay back. I'm gonna get some payback on this guy for how he tortured Sinon."
"Oh, screw that!" Eddy said. "This guy sent Mark over the edge and hurt you and Sinon, he's getting a beatdown, Hero Alliance style! Let's get him, gang!"
With that declaration, the battle was on. Subtilizer drew his enhanced rifle and flew up into the air on dark wings, taking potshots at the group.
"Like hell that'll work!" Eddy said as the Eds flew up into the air, surrounding Subtilizer and throwing out a wave of punches and kicks, Ed getting the first hit in Subtilizer's face. "Well don't just stand there, guys! Join in!"
The rest of the alliance took their chances to rush Subtelizer as they beat him up, the mercenary doing his best to fight back. Hope then flew into the air above him.
"This is for Sinon and Mark, you bastard!" Hope said striking Subtilizer in the face and driving him to the ground. "Go to hell!" he said burying him under tons of rock and stone as he devirtualized. "Yeah...and don't come back, you bastard."
"Yeah, that guy was a real piece of work." Asta said.
Then, another version of Mark showed up, looking sad.
"Was it really worth it? After everything… what those two nobles were doing that night… what the Administrator did to Eugeo and how she did it… and then what Subtilizer was about to do the Sinon… it was my breaking point."
The construct then looked at Hope, begging in its eyes.
"Hope, please just stop… I don't want you to know. None of you can know. Let me go… please, just let me go…"
The group reappeared in the void.
"Mark doesn't want us to see what's behind that last door." Hope said. "What could be worse than all the trauma we've seen so far…?"
"Hmm… hey, Eds." Shirou said, getting the three boys' attention. "How much do you know about Mark's past?"
"Mark's past?" Double D asked. "Well… he was around 14 when we first met him. He told us he had lived with his father until he was 5, then his father passed away. He also mentioned that it took him two years to get to the level of power he was at when we first met him, so assuming he was the same age he left wherever he trained… he started training at the age of 12. There's a seven year gap, but… he never told us what happened during that time."
"So something between the age of five and twelve… that he doesn't want anyone to know about that left deeper trauma than anything here…" Scarlet mused. "...Could it… no, it couldn't be...right?"
"What?" Hope asked.
"Well… it's just…" Scarlet said, starting to look sick. "...Mark has paraphobia, doesn't he? The fear of anything sexual?"
"Well, he caught me banging another guy, so-" Panty started.
"What if that was only a part of it?" Scarlet asked. "What if Mark was…y'know..."
"What?" Ace said in shock. "You're not suggesting-?"
"Yeah, I am." Scarlet said.
"...Oh my lord." Double D whispered, shocked.
"Well...it'll be unpleasant but...it's the only way we're gonna get him outta this." Jexi said.
