Goals for this chapters- travels by plane to Japan and meets Rye

Jinx lifted her arms into a satisfying stretch, she was about to clap her hands to celebrate her accomplishment but stopped when she remembered Amari was in the room. Amari was looking down at the sheet in front of her, her eyes scrunched up trying to figure out how to write properly. Jinx tapped in front of her lightly.

"I finished all the paperwork. Are you all packed?"

Amari nodded, she had a small bag containing a few clothes and her hearing aids box. She had them on right now, which irritated her ears a little. Her eyes were a little tired, she had not slept last night while studying. She couldn't bring herself to sleep in the office like she had been asked to. Amari went back to her paperwork. She jumped in her seat minutes later when there was a knock on the door. It was Snake Eyes, who shook his head, probably disappointed, when he saw Amari jump.

Jinx hit the table with her knuckles, that made Amari jump a slightly less amount. "Snake is taking you to the airport. You don't have to wear the hearing aids there since it tends to be a bit loud. Get up, time to go."

Amari removed her hearing aids. Snake led the way to the outside of the training facility. That's when Amari realized that she never saw the outside. She thought back to her first time inside, and got shivers. Snake ignored her and motioned to the police car waiting outside. The ride was uneventful. The sun was bright that day, and it irritated Amari's eyes.

At the airport Amari could imagine just how loud this place must be. Several people weighting their suitcases and standing in several lines. Kids on the floor and adults talking on their phones. They entered the line, and then stood there. Amari forced herself to remain still so she wouldn't bother Snake. She felt like he was constantly angry, and didn't want it aimed at her.

At the desk Snake took care off all the paperwork. He then led her to an area marked as security. That's when he handed her the ticket, as well as a note, and told her to go the rest of the way on her own.

'What about you?' Amari pointed to Snake Eyes. Snake motioned to his helmet, and then to the security officer giving him a dirty stare. Amari lowered her head, ashamed that she could miss something so obvious.

Snake left, and Amari was left to figure it out on her own. The security workers and the people walking by offered her directions. And the lady in a skirt let her know when it was time to board the plane. And showed her which seat was hers. She felt her stomach heave as they flew, to stop it she forced herself asleep.

The note Snake had left were instructions for when she landed. He had drawn a quick map of where she needed to go, and who to look for. Someone with a beard and dark skin was going to be her new teacher. Amari wasn't sure what that meant until she saw the man in the room. Amari walked over to him and noticed his white eyes.

"You must be Amari." He couldn't see, but, he could.

Amari cleared her throat a little, "Yes."

He nodded with a smile and turned to leave the crowded room. Amari followed him silently, worried that he would get hit. It seemed that everyone else in the airport noticed that he was blind, because they would move out of the way for him. Back outside Amari was again not a fan of the sun, even if it was weaker. The Blind Master stopped on the side walk and nodded to a short haired person. They were dressed plainly in loose clothes. They were also intimidatingly tall.

"This is her? She's a little short." The short haired person said, walking around Amari slowly. "She looks like a twig about to snap."

Amari took a step back, "You are?" She wasn't a fan of the circling around method, it made it hard to read the person's lips.

The Blind Master signaled for the shorted haired person to stand by his side, "This is Rye. I have assigned them to be part of your team. Don't mind their tongue too much." The Blind Master turned around. It took Amari a second to realize that she was supposed to follow him.

"Jinx informed me of what he wants you to accomplish." The Blind Master said, then he paused to inform Amari to put her hearing aids back on. He continued walking down the street, "She wishes for you to become accustomed to your hearing aids. Of course, you have been gradually increasing your time wearing them. It tends to take a little longer than a month."

"You don't talk much." Rye added once The Blind Master gave a pause.

Blind Master nodded, "That is also something Jinx discussed. Your hesitance to ask questions or explore curiosity. That is a habit that must be broken soon. We will work on it."
