Vilkas didn't know what he'll do when the girl went into their room. He isn't daft. He knew the commotion she had caused. He is proud to say that she did stood her ground though her reaction confuses him. She might have been shocked. She's a milk drinker anyways. She is not used to violence.

Placing the plate beside the bed, he glanced at the girl huddled at the farthest corner of the bed. Her arms wrapped around her knees and her head resting on top of it. Clearing his throat, he called her name. She didn't respond. Thinking she didn't hear him, he tried again. This time, he can hear a faint sound. A small voice.

~Everything will be alright

Everything will be

Alright~

He heard that song before when he confronted her the second time. He didn't know what's it for. He didn't know why she is singing it. He didn't know. But he knew he shouldn't bother. She is an eye of the future. She could battle her own demons.

That night, no one spoke. The ragged breath of the girl soon became slow and relax. Asleep as far as Vilkas knew. Sitting up, he cracked his neck sideways to get rid of the stiffness. Envying the girl, he approached the bed. Gently prying her arms around her knees, he carried her and placed her on top of the bed. She might be battling now but I envy that she can sleep through it. Patting the girls head, he walked out of the room.

"You are lazy." Vilkas reprimanded when he saw me climbed on the back of my horse.

"What would you have me do then? Walk the whole way?" I heard him grumbled something but didn't bother since I have to fix the reigns. Suddenly, he yanked my arm and pulled me off of my horse.

"What the fuck Vilkas?!" He was quick to helped me back on my feet but took the reigns away from me.

"As a Companion, you need to be strong. I could tell you cannot even outrun a bear if you continue to make things easier." He held the reigns and started walking. And my horse followed. Wow. Remind me again who's the owner here. Following suit, I walked beside him.

"You don't even know if I'll take upon your offer in being a Companion. And for the record, that's my horse." I tried grabbing the reigns from him but he swatted my hands like some bug hovering around his face.

"For someone so small as you, I wonder how you were able to even afford a horse. Maybe using that face to charm those stable masters eh?" Gritting my teeth, I slapped the back of his neck.

"Having this face doesn't mean I use it and second of all, that horse is a gift." Crossing my arms, I stomped my feet like a child. He chuckled and pat the horses back.

"A stable master from Windhelm then." He knew it was from Windhelm? How? I just guessed it before since the owner is from Windhelm.

"How can you tell?"

"Skyrim horses differ from their colors and markings. Windhelm are dark brown and has black color running down their white hooves along with a white marking on their head. Whiterun are black. Markarth have patches of any color. Riften have grey coat and spots of a darker color. And lastly, Solitude has their coat similar to skin, gold or yellow and has their mane and tail in silver or white." He finished his statement with a nod of his head. Speechless. I am speechless indeed. I know Vilkas is the Brainiac Twin but he never cease to amaze me.

"I'm impressed with your observation Companion. I thought at first you will give me an answer related to sniffing but you proved me wrong once again." Grinning, I ran as fast as I can away from him before he can even processed what I've just said. Seconds later, I heard his growled of irritation along with my name. This walk just gets better and better.

The two didn't made it to Whiterun before the sun down and decided to set a camp deep in the woods. As a wolf, Vilkas was able to scout the area for potential threats easily. He disappears and reappear that made Sizaan wonder if she should set up the camp already. There's still light but any minute now, the woods will get dark and cold soon. Vilkas finally emerged and signaled Sizaan to set up the camp.

As the Vilkas sets the sleeping roll, Sizaan scurried the area for firewood. There isn't much except fallen tree that are rotten to the core. Stepping on the tree, the wood broke easily. Smiling, she gathered an armful of the wood and carried it back to the camp. Vilkas was able to catch two rabbits and Sizaan but her tongue before another dog joke comes out.

The campfire was lit thanks to Sizaan's magic. It's not much but it is enough for survival. Dinner cooked and pieces of woods feed the fire, Sizaan fell asleep leaving Vilkas to watch the night.

I woke up in the middle of night cold. The campfire seems to slowly die. Sitting up, I glanced around for any signs of Vilkas. I found none. Withdrawing my sword slowly, I quickly put on my shoes while looking around the camp. So far I couldn't hear anything. No birds nor crickets. Standing up, I readied my sword. Eyeing my horse not far from where I stand, I couldn't see anyone there. No Vilkas.

This is bad. Really bad. My heart is starting to beat fast. Adrenaline. Yes. That's it. Adrenaline keeps me going. For how long? I don't know. Problem with adrenaline rush is that you can only hear your heart beat. But not your surroundings. Breathe in breathe out. I have to calm down.

Assessing the situation again, I slowly looked around making sure my back is facing the horse. The horse reacts to predators so if ever he reacts, I could cut easily cut the reigns tying the horse to a branch and ran off. Leaving Vilkas. Damn it. Where is that wolf anyways?!

"Sizaan!" Vilkas! I turned towards the direction of his voice getting ready to strike when a force hit me, landing my ass on the ground. The force knocked my breath away as I blindly slashed towards my attacker. When my vision finally adjusted, I saw a familiar face grinning down on me, holding my wrists above my head.

"Been a long time, isn't it?" I know that voice. That fucking voice.

"Took you long enough bastard!" kneeling his groin, he yelped in pain. Grabbing my sword, I slashed it onto his chest. He screeched in pain as he tried to stand and tackle me to the ground. Using my adrenaline rush, I impaled him into the ground. He tried to scratch my arms but I remained on top of him, not bothering if I lose blood. I wonder... If I die in this world, will I die in the real world? My vision is fading and my gripped to sword is starting to loose. I never got to say goodbye to my friends.
