It has been about three days since we stopped Jet and the other Freedom Fighters from trying to destroy that village. In between that time and now, we met two other tribes who had a long feud involving Gan Jin and Zhang, which was the name of the two respective tribes, and some stupid ball. I honestly wasn't listening too much of their story or their arguing, so I mostly tuned them out. Katara and Sokka also have a little dispute as well, but it was quickly resolved, albeit with a little force as I almost had Kurama eat them since they were starting to get annoying. We also ended up going through "The Great Divide", which was this universe's version of The Grand Canyon. I have never seen the Grand Canyon, but from what I saw in the Divide...I hope it isn't like that whatsoever. From fighting with crawlers to dealing with two angry tribes was one of the worst experiences I had ever had and certaintly don't want to go through it again. Oh and it turns out, Aang is a pretty good liar too. Who would've thought the all mighty Avatar could lie.

For now, me and the rest of the Gaang are still traveling throughout the Earth Kingdom, trying to make our way towards the North Pole, trying to find Aang a Waterbending master so he can get that element out of the way already.

Late Morning, Earth Kingdom

"Well it looks like there's going to be clear skies today." Aang said as a flock of birds flew by.

I let out a small yawn, "Well let's hope so. Katara said we needed to go to the market since we're almost out of food."

"And whose fault is that?" Katara asked teasingly. I glared at her but didn't say anything back.

Sokka overhead me and turned around, "Wait! We shouldn't go to the market! This was apart of my dream."

We all turned to look at Sokka with a confused look.

"Well? What did you dream about?" Katara asked.

"Food eats people!" He said with his eyes bugging out comically.

I facepalmed, while Katara and Aang gave him an unimpressed look.

"Honestly...he's worst then Shikamaru or even Chocho."

"Hmph...can we kill him? His idiocy is just as annoying as a Uchiha."

I chuckled, "Sadly we can't, Kurama."

Kurama let out a sharp 'tsk', before I heard him close his eyes again.

"And Momo even started talking like Kurama does." Sokka points and stares at the lemur menacingly. "You said some pretty hurtful things."

We all let out annoyed sighs and continued to pack our bags.

Iroh looks up at the sky as he could feel the breeze flow throughout his pale white beard. The former general could feel that something was amiss.

"Prince Zuko! Looks like a storm is coming." Iroh says.

"What are you blabbering about!? There's not even a cloud in the sky!" Zuko angrily states.

"A storm is coming from the; we must seek shelter in the southwest." The old general told his nephew.

"We're not stopping Uncle. The Avatar and The Spirit Fox are heading up north. We shall continue this course." Zuko said determindly.

"Prince Zuko, I highly suggest that we think about the safety of the crew-"

"That is not important right now!" Zuko yelled loudly as he turned sharply and came face to face with a lieutenant.

Zuko walked sternly towards the soldier and glared at him harshly, "Finding the Avatar and Spirit Fox are more important than some measly life on this ship."

The lieutenant didn't say anything, but glared sharply back at Prince Zuko. The scarred prince stormed off the deck and went into his bunker. Iroh sighed in frustration as he walked up to the soldier and placed his hand on his shoulders.

"Don't take it the wrong way Jee, he didn't mean it." Iroh said.

"That depends on how long my patience will last." Jee responded coolly.

"I'm sorry, I just remembered we don't have enough money!" Katara says as she puts down the slushy sounding watermelon. She takes the Gaang away and drag us, much to Sokka's dismay.

"Great, we're out of food AND money. Can this day get any worse?" Sokka complained.

"Sokka, you know you should never say that." I muttered under my breath.

"Give us a break Sokka." Aang groaned. "We can find more food like we did last time."

"Yeah, but I'm hungry NOW!" Sokka moaned.

"You know you always could get a job, wise guy." Katara said sternly while crossing her arms.

"And I told you there's a storm coming!" An unknown but elderly voiced yelled out.

We turned around to see an elderly couple arguing with one another.

"No clouds! No wind! No storm! It's gonna be smooth sailin, so quit yer complainin!" the old man barked back.

"My old knees never lie!"

"Well it's my brains versus your knees!"

I let out a loud groan, "It's like those two idiotic tribes all over again."

"Well I'm not going, you better find another hauler!" The old lady yelled back again.

"I will and I will pay him more than I give you!" The old man hollered right back.

Sokka, like the idiot he is, walked up instantly behind the old man, "I'll be your new hauler!"

The old man looked at Sokka and pointed at him, "You're hired!" He then turned a glared at his wife triumphantly.

Sokka smiled and turned around only to see everyone's shocked and surprised expressions, well except for Trey who looked more annoyed then anything else.

"What? Katara said I needed to get a job..." Sokka shrugged innocently. "Plus he's paying double!"

"Double!? Where'd you get that idea!?" The old man asked wildy.

I simply facepalmed and let out another sigh.

"This is gonna be a long day."

Prince Zuko looked up towards the sky as dark clouds began to roll in and the distant sound of the rumbling thunder could be heard. Lieutenant Jee looked up at the sky as well, but only with a smug expression on his face that would make Zhao proud.

"Well it seems your old man was right about the storm. Your Highness." Jee said.

"Lucky guess." Iroh humbly replied.

"You better show some respect or I'll make you." Zuko threatens.

The Lieutenant was not going to take this type of disrespect from anybody. Royalty or not. Crown Prince or not. Before the two could even throw punches out, Iroh immediately came in and put a stop to it.

"That's enough from the both of you!" Iroh scolds. "Everyone is tired from all the traveling. I'm sure a bowl of noodles will make everything better."

Zuko and the Lieutenant glared at each other before walking off in the opposite directions of each other. Iroh let out a long and heavy sigh.

"This is going to be a long day."

"Sokka, this doesn't seem like a good idea." I said to the boy, while looking up at the sky to see the clouds begin to darken.

"Trey's right Sokka, that storm looks dangerous." Aang agreed.

"Look, I promised to take this job and no storm is going to stop me." Sokka said determinedly.

"Listen to that tattoo boy and his friend, they actually make sense!" The old lady yelled again

The mention of tattoos perked up the man's attention. The old man turns around and stares at Aang's tattoos.

"Well I'll be, you're the Avatar."

"Yep." Aang smiles.

"Well don't go smiling about it!" he scolds Aang. "You abandoned us for over a hundred years. You turned your back on tha world!"

"Hey! Don't go yelling at him!" Katara yells. "Aang would never hurt or abandon anyone!"

"Is that so? Well I must be imagining the war and pain that's going on." The man mocked.

"Oi! You take that back!" I growled.

"Trey, don't do this right now." Sokka moans.

I turned around and glared at Sokka.

"Don't you dare start with me Sokka! Are you really just going to let this old man bash Aang like this!"

"Well, he did leave us all high and dry for a century so..."

I got up right into his face and grabbed him by his shirt.

"Are you kidding me Sokka?! I thought he was your friend!" I yelled in his face.

Sokka raised his hands. "Hey! Aang is my friend, but the fisherman is right! He left the world when we needed him most and people are dying and losing family members! Besides, I don't know why you're complaining. You're not even from here! You have a demon inside of you! You don't even have any family here! You don't know what it's like to lose people in war!"

My eyes widened in shock and anger at Sokka's word. He crossed a line when he brought up my family! And him brining up Kurama, calling him a demon?! That's just as bad! I may not have ever been in a war during my time back in my universe, but I do certainly know a lot about loss! I felt the demon cloak form over me as the two tails began to form once again. I looked at Sokka with my red eyes and reared back my fist ready to punch him, but I was stopped by the voice of Katara.

"Wait! Aang come back!"

I turned around to see Aang fly off using his glider.

"Yeah, that's right! RUN AWAY!" The old man mocks.

I glared at the old man, shutting him up instantly. I then turned my attention back to Sokka.

"Sokka...You're right. I don't know anything about losing people to war, but I DO KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO LOSE PEOPLE! I'VE LOST EVERYTHING FOR COMING HERE TO HELP YOU GUYS STOP THIS WAR! AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED, THE ONLY FAMILY I HAVE LEFT IS KURAMA!"

I could feel that Kurama was shocked by my revelation, but I didn't comment anything back.

"IF YOU EVER SPEAK ABOUT MY FAMILY OR KURAMA IN SUCH A WAY EVER AGAIN, I'LL FEED YOU TO HIM!"

With that being said, I dropped Sokka and walked over towards Katara, who had gotten Appa while I was yelling at her brother, and jumped on to go help her find Aang.

Katara and I had been flying for about ten minutes. It had been completely silent on the flight, even Kurama was silent, which didn't surprise me since my revelation of him being considered family in my eyes probably shocked him. Honestly, I was expecting Katara to say something, but she didn't which I guess I should be thankful for as I probably would've snapped at her as well. The demon cloak hadn't gone away either.

"Trey..."

I turned around too Katara.

"I'm sorry about Sokka and about what he said...He didn't mean to-"

"Don't worry about it, Katara." I grunted, interrupting whatever apology she was going to say. "It's not your fault and you DEFINITELY shouldn't be the one apologizing either."

Katara opened her mouth to say something else, but quickly closed it and nodded her head. She turned back around and grabbed ahold of Appa's reins, but did speak up again.

"Hey...can I ask you something?" She asked softly.

I let out a sigh. "What is it?"

"What did you mean back there about losing everything to help us when the war?" She said so softly that I could barely hear her.

I guess this is a good time as ever to reveal the whole truth.

"...I'll tell you whenever we find Aang."

Or not.

I couldn't see her face, but I could tell that Katara nodded her head and continued to guide Appa. She flies Appa down towards a cave and we hop off the bison to see if his master is there. Turns out, he was. Aang was just sitting here in a little cave, all alone, huddled up with his knees covering his face.

"I'm sorry for running away." Aang says, not looking up from his position.

I shook my head. "It's ok Aang, that old man and Sokka were out of line."

Katara agreed with me as well.

"No they weren't." Aang said softly, surprising me and Katara.

"What do you mean?" Katara asked as she took a seat next to Aang and I did the same.

"It's a very long story."

"We have all the time in the world, Aang."

Aang let out a sigh and began to recall his tale.

"It all began over a hundred years ago before I knew I was the Avatar..."
