Chapter 7: The Love Collision
The sun came through the window and woke us up around 10am. For once, I woke up and didn't feel sick. I gently tousled Leonards hair and kissed him. He stirred and kissed me back and asked how I was feeling.
"Better than ever. Not sick and feeling great" I said with a wink.
Leonard took the hint, rolled over, kissed me and we began to have some adult time. Leonard was careful, asking me if I liked a specific thing he did, or if it was uncomfortable. Nothing he did was uncomfortable and he knew what I liked. As he flopped down next to me, I kissed him and rolled out of bed.
"That bad that you have to leave me?" My husband said between asthmatic breaths
"No, and I love you. But I want to shower, because if you haven't noticed it's almost lunch time. We should do some decorating before everyone comes over for pizza night"
"Mind if I join you" said my husband with a wink.
"Not at all, but we are just showering. No funny business. I don't need a repeat of when you saw the meteor shower and Sheldon took me to the ER."
"Fine, you're no fun. If it makes you feel better we didn't even see the meteors. We were high on the cookies that Howard found, so we didn't even look up." Leonard said as he kissed my cheek.
"It was hell Leonard. Sheldon had to get me out of the tub, dress me, drive me to the ER, fill out forms, drive me home and get me in bed. Sheldon had to do it Leonard. Sheldon"
"Ok. I see your point"
We finished our shower, got dressed and had a small lunch of strawberry poptarts, their favorite small lunch.
"I can't believe I'm feeling this good today, let's make the most of it"

"Decorating Leonard. Decorating." I snapped at him
