"We'll be using my bedroom...I've got everything that we need there," she said, standing up and making a show of leaving the room and jogging up the stairs, Donnie following close behind.

"Well if I can find someone, you can too." Mikey grinned, watching the surprise cover April's face.

"I'm gonna keep that to myself for a while, but if we can find people who can put up with all the weird in our lives and y'know...how we look, then you can find someone you can be completely open with as well."

"I hope so Mikey, it's just...hard." April sighed.

"I know April, but things will get better." Mikey smiled at her and was happy when April smiled back at him.

"Thanks Mikey...I think I'll go to my room for a bit...just to think about things." April sighed as she got up from her chair.

"I'm here if you need anything April." She smiled at him as she reached the doorway and then she was gone.

April was gone no less than a minute before Leo stepped into the kitchen. Mikey had seen Leo watching them from outside and Leo had seen when April got up and left.

"What did she say?" Leo asked.

"She's upset that she got turned down by both the guys that used to want to be with her, but we talked and she's going to start dating when we go back to New York."

"So, she's not interested in…"

"No, she's gonna stay away from both of them, she doesn't want to cause any problems."

"Good." Leo said, although that's not what his expression said.

"Leo?"

"It's fine Mikey, I'm happy with what you've told me but, I guess I will just have to see things for myself to believe them." Leo said and disappeared to go back outside and Mikey had no intention of following him, he'd helped out enough today and decided to reward himself with some tv.
