Well, someone has dared me to write more chapters, so, uh...here you go, I guess? (I'm looking at you, triple reviewer, thank you for the ideas)
Hermione P.O.V
I gapped at the sheer size of the ship. It was, for some reason, loaded with different long-range weapons, as if they expected to be attacked very soon. I could see a glass door on one of the lower levels with… "Are those Pegasi? I thought they were extinct?" I asked, surprised. "Yup. Our school saved the remaining and hid them from public view. They're useful if you don't have a broom," Jason explained. The flags looked very..odd, as if the school had multiple different aspects and the makers of the ship were trying to represent them all. Leo had taken out what looked like a Wii controller and had pressed the A button...really, really fast. I didn't even think it was humanly possible to press it that fast. A platform extended from what looked like nowhere, and a gangplank lowered down from it.
Ron P.O.V
"Who even made this thing?" I asked, staring at the metal plates on the ship. "Leo, Annabeth, and their siblings," was Frank's answer. My jaw dropped. "Y-you're kidding me," Leo grinned from above. "Nope!"
-some time later-
Hermione P.O.V
"Where are the house elves?" I asked as food suddenly appeared on our plates. Nico frowned. "House elves?" "Your food- it has to come from somewhere, but I didn't see any elfs. Where are they?" I asked again. Thalia leaned over to whisper something to Annabeth, who's mouth made an O. "We don't have any. The plates- they're enchanted. The cooks make the food back at school and it gets instantly transported onto the plate. As long as it isn't broken, it will appear," was her explanation.
Reyna P.O.V
Not for the first time, I marveled at Annabeth's quick thinking. We hadn't had any time to prepare a concrete backstory, so we were mostly relying on bringing the wizard's attention away from, say, Hazel passing through walls, or Percy's teeth.
Harry P.O.V
Suddenly, Percy stood up and pressed something on the roof. I jumped out of the way as a giant fire slid out of the wall. "Wha-" my mouth hung open as, one by one, the American's scraped what looked like the better part of all their food into the flames and muttered something. Percy pressed the same thing again and the flame slid back into the wall. "You just wasted food, mate!" Ron exclaimed. I looked over to see Hermione had also stood up, fists on the table and most likely preparing the S.P.E.W lecture in her brain. "It's part of our religion. If we don't sacrifice a part of our food the rest will taste like cardboard and we'll all die," Percy explained, sitting back down. Hermione sat down, Ron put his plate down, and I sat back on the bench.
-time skip-
After dinner, the wizards started bombarding the demigods with their own questions. ";Why is there a Hellhound on your ship?" "What's your school like?" "Do you use wands? "Can the ship fly?" "What's your uniform like?" on and on it went, until Reyna simply just put up her hand. "If you keep this up none of your questions will be answered," they all fell silent. "The hellhound is Mrs. O'Leary. She's friendly, provided that you don't kill her owners," she looked pointedly at Annabeth. The daughter of Athena glared at her before continuing. "Our school has two bases, one in New York and the other in California. New Rome is...more structured, I guess. People who go there stay longer. CHB is more...rough. People usually go from there to New Rome, once they're old enough. Then there are the Hunter's. They're an all-girls hunting group that travels all around the world, but they sometimes stop at CHB. Thalia used to be part of it until last year. Our uniform depends on what our magic is, where we are, and who we are," "I haven't heard of any school in New York before, other than Ilvermorny," Hermione interjected. "We aren't on school records because we usually keep to ourselves. Besides, we were originally in Greece," was Piper's reply
