Flashback
Hayley had been taken away from her house and was walking the streets of the city with a gun aimed at her back.
The two thugs wore no masks. It was never a good thing when it happened.
If they acted out of the way it meant only one thing, that they would not leave their hostage alive.
The detective was forced to get into a black BMW minivan.
She was sitting behind her and immediately her wrists and feet were tied very tightly with a rope.
The materials of which the rope was made were already starting to scratch the detective's wrists.
Later she was blindfolded as she tried to get rid of her.
She was not the type to take without resisting and this created serious problems for her.
The woman turned, she was in the driver's seat, and hit her with the butt of her pistol.
Hayley passed out instantly.
She was arranged so that she appeared to be sleeping with a blanket over her that she hid her hands and feet that were bound.
Shortly after the man had gone up the two left.
They had traveled that road several times in those days to check for the presence of the police.
That night they were stopped by two agents.
It was Burgess and Atwater who had accidentally crashed, obviously unwittingly, a new car belonging to one of the commissioners from another district and thus had to serve their sentence by going on patrol in the middle of the night.
- Good evening lady - Kevin said - favor the documents please.
The woman did what she was asked and the other passenger did as well.
Obviously the documents were fake.
Seeing that Kevin, while Burgess was communicating his personal details on the radio, had looked behind her and saw the girl who was lying in the back seat, he said:
-She is our daughter, when we travel at night she collapses into the seat behind her. -
- The machine sometimes has a soporific effect,- he replied
So after checking that everything was in order, the two agents let go.
Unfortunately, they didn't realize that the person lying behind the others was their missing colleague.
The two had been good. They had put on an excellent performance and had gotten away with it thanks to the darkness of the night.
They arrived at the dock and there the man took the unconscious woman, carried her onto her shoulders and carried her onto a boat owned by the woman.
