Bonus Episode #8 - Rise from the Ashes: 8th Trial

Time: February 25, 9:47 AM

Location: District Court-Defendant Lobby No. 2

Last time with Phoenix Wright and Cassie Freeman discover a bit more on the SL-9 case...With Jake being kicked out of the police department office, he tells them about Neil his brother was killed by Joe's doing, or so they thought; because Lana was force to show fake evidences to have a real serial killer to be sentence to death by law without Edgeworth knowing about the scandal. For Ema to say about Neil died protecting her by Neil on that night two years ago and after for Damon's only daughter Rose helped him, Neil, and Lana out as the best team in the group – she died in a car accident. With luck for Ema Sky got Phoenix and Cassie inside of Damon's office where Neil was killed in – in the safe of the 7 of more seven digit number opens up the listing real evidences of the case and a lever glove with Ema's finger on it, lucky for Damon to not notice leaving Ema to talk to him. As well as completing the jar to put together as well. Now everything was coming together...Bruce was killed already for Lana to make it look like she murder him, he wanted to learn more about the case, and something to hide anything to keep Ema safe – Damon was the killer, maybe more than murdering Bruce Goodman. So, now what? Phoenix and Cassie takes the jar to the science labs for more work with someone else helping them out, but who? The next morning, it was time for the third and final trial 'if the two lovers can solve it to prove in Lana's innocence'.

Phoenix: Cassie, are you ready?

Cassie: I'm ready. I remember the writings I've wrote before Damon ripped it up. Let's go, Phoenix. (With Ema helping us and us doing the rest before calling it a night, it's time to put our moves into action next.)

Holding hands, for them to solve two of the murder cases for good...They were ready. And so was Edgeworth to be driving in his car to be fine now, as he parked and headed inside of the courtroom building. He runs into Phoenix and Cassie to join with him.

Phoenix: Nice car.

Cassie: But isn't your car...? Oh, sorry.

Yep, it was only a rental car, his other one was fine to be checked on.

Edgeworth: It's rental. My car is a crime scene for now.

Getting inside, the one Phoenix called for Cassie to know who it was...Edgeworth himself.

Cassie: So, did you decide?

Edgeworth: So, you want for me to help you out in court today? I don't mind helping you, Cassie. It's your boyfriend who called me last night out of the blue.

Well, he's being honest to ask himself about it.

Phoenix: If you don't, this case is going to be over as soon as you're done.

This was very important for this case and the SL-9 one as well.

Cassie: You want to know what happened in the SL-9 case, Edgeworth? Don't you want to know as well on why Bruce was killed? All of this is everything to be told with some backup.

Edgeworth: I never thought listening to you, Wright, would somehow help you win. Still, she makes a good point.

Cassie: I just do what I do best.

Phoenix: This stuff being your case, it was Gant who hand you over this investigation.

Cassie: In other words, it was all a set up without you knowing. And something about Rose Gant...

Now this catches his attention.

Edgeworth: Well, that much is true. Wait...Rose Gant? Chief Gant had a daughter?

Cassie: He didn't tell you? Lana must've for her, Neil, Damon, and Rose were a great team. She died in a car crash after Neil, her boyfriend was murderer to have Joe take the blame.

Edgeworth: But for what I've heard, she was...found murder during the SL-9 case.

Oh boy, he says something else for Edgeworth was telling the truth.

Cassie: Yeah, everything's going...WHAT!? SHE WAS MURDERED BY JOE DRAKE?!

Edgeworth: I have a two year report about the victims Drake has killed.

Seeing the paper for Edgeworth to have a copy of, it was all too real.

Phoenix: No way...! It is real! (But why would Gant keep this a secret to lie about it?)

That is why they need to find and from Rose's strange murder too.

Cassie: Okay, now this has blown me away too much in the past few days.

Edgeworth: I'm curious to know the rest myself.

But what will Edgeworth's decision be? It was his choice to make.

Phoenix: Either way Edgeworth, it's up to you whether you want to help me or not.

Cassie: It's a choice you must make on your own really. (Okay, now I need to know everything about Rose's fate. Even if we have to squeeze it out of Damon like an orange.)

Phoenix: But if Lana's conflicted, then you'll never know what happened two years ago.

It's all a do or die type of murder mystery of two to be solved today. Still, weren't they missing someone?

Cassie: So, why hasn't Ema showed up yet?

Phoenix: Yeah...Where is Ema? She should've been here by now.

I hope Damon didn't make her stay or say anything bad to her. Checking Edgeworth's watch, it was time for the trial to begin.

Edgeworth: It is time.

Cassie: Then let's do this!

Phoenix: Got it. (This is it. If Cassie and I are ever going to find out what Chief Gant has on her, it's now!)

Inside the court room they go, whatever happens next was up to them. Well, hopefully for Edgeworth to aid Phoenix and Cassie as well.

Time: February 25, 10:00 AM

Location: District Court-Courtroom No. 9

Well, this was it. Phoenix, Cassie, and Edgeworth entered into the court room, for each side from prosecutors and defenses go to their own seats to be ready for anything. From other people in the room as well, with Phoenix and Cassie making sure they get this with a quick hug and kiss to each other.

Cassie: I love you.

Phoenix: I love you too.

With them holding hands as well...

Phoenix and Cassie: Let's do this.

As the Judge enters into the room next and hits his gavel to get everyone's attention.

*ALL RISE!*

Judge: Court is now in session for the trial of Ms. Lana Skye. But before we begin, there's been a statement for someone to make really quick from within this court.

Okay...? That was news for all three of them to hear about it until now at the last minute before the trial can start.

Cassie: Hey...! Next time, a little warning please.

Judge: I'm very sorry, Ms. Freeman. Now then...Bring the witness in.

Entering into the room together were Damon and Lana to say a few things, wait...Huh? After what Lana said and for Phoenix and Cassie to defend her, this happens. And what does Damon got up his dirty sleeves this time?

Judge: Damon? What are you doing here?

Cassie: Lana? (Great, I sense something really bad is going to come out of her mouth again.)

Thought to be just Damon, but he wasn't alone.

Gant: Good to see you too, Udgey. I'm just here to serve justice. To make sure all of this messy case has all been sorted out.

Judge: I appreciate your support, Damon. But we're quite capable to handle things from here.

For Damon to say so, to just play it his way to be cheating.

Gant: Don't think me. You won't even know I'm here. I'll make myself at home.

Oh, really...? Sitting down next, Lana says something 'for Damon forces her to do it'.

Judge: Lana Skye, I believe you have something to say before court resumes.

Lana: Your Honor, I like to rescue for this court to not resume. I've confess to my crime, so I think there's no point to here any other confessions out of me. I would like for you to give out my verdict now and stop wasting mine and the court's time.

This is what Damon wants for Lana to do.

Phoenix: Lana, no! Your Honor, you can't take her seriously!

Cassie: It's a trap! (If this keeps up, then we can't save her!)

Nothing they say will make Lana change her mind.

Lana: You're my attorney, Mr. Wright. And your girlfriend is my partner, with you two are suppose to follow my orders.

Phoenix: Not if it happens to regretting it throughout the rest of your life!

Lana: In that case, I don't require any of your services anymore. Sorry, Ms. Freeman. And Mr Wright, you're dismiss as my attorney.

Cassie: Phoenix, this is bad...!

Phoenix: But Lana!

This was really bad.

Lana: Your Honor, if you will...

Judge: This is so sudden, Ms. Skye. Although, that can be said throughout this entire court case. In some circumstances, I guess I don't have much of a choice. The court finds the defendant Lana Skye...

This was really the end...? Or so Phoenix and Cassie thought so, this was far from over.

Edgeworth: *OBJECTION!*

Yep, Edgeworth agrees with help them out.

Cassie: Edgeworth! (Yes! He decided to help us out, this is great!)

Judge: Mr. Wright...You're no longer Lana's attorney or Ms. Freeman, therefore you cannot speak on her behalf.

Well here's the thing.

Phoenix: That wasn't me, Your Honor.

Cassie: What? I didn't say anything either.

Pointing out to see that Edgeworth said it instead.

Judge: Mr. Edgeworth...?

Edgeworth: Your Honor, the prosecution has not yet proven the defendant guilty beyond reasonable doubt. Any ruling at this stage would certainly be premature.

That's one way to make something up. For Damon to say something back, Edgeworth's not taking his crap anymore.

Gant: Oh Worthy...Why don't you be a good boy and shut up.

Edgeworth: As I suspected. Your Honor, it looks like there was some type of deal made behind the scenes; and I believe the Chief of Prosecutors are trying to device in this court. Therefore, I like the last plead to be stricken from the recorded and to limited her right for trying to kick the defense couples out of this case so soon.

A lot to say to be very true.

Cassie: (Ah, that's a lot to say there.) If any lawyers say so with something in mind, it's only right to see this through, Your Honor.

Another one in the rule book of the court.

Judge: Hmmm...That's a lot to say about this, Mr. Edgeworth. I hope you're prepare to fix any issues to continue forward with all of this.

Edgeworth: I will, Your Honor, and the court is only about today's trial.

Looks like Phoenix and Cassie can still defend Lana through out this mess.

Phoenix: Yes! (Way ago, Edgeworth, I knew you would come through.)

Lana: Mr. Edgeworth, surely you know this whole thing is pointless. The trial is over and within your favor. I think you should let this go.

But not this time...

Edgeworth: I don't care what you think, Ms. Skye! We're here in this court room to find the truth. So if you wish your fate entirely in your hands, I think you should rehire your attorney. With Cassie Freeman including too.

For Damon to sit there in silence, Lana does what Edgeworth just said for her to do.

Lana: Very well.

Sitting back down, it's time for the trial to begin this time.

Judge: In that case this time...Court is in session. Mr. Edgeworth, I assume you're ready?

Edgeworth: The prosecution calls his first witness. Ema Skye.

So soon to call her up to the stands, but it was the only way. Leaving Lana to not like it at all.

Lana: No!

Edgeworth: And if the defend interrupts again, she'll be remove from the court room.

Fair enough to now get this trial under way.

Cassie: Just call up for Ema to take the stands already please.

In appears Ema Skye to walk up to the stands to do her best to recall that event, in order to save Lana's life.

Edgeworth: Will the witness please state your name and occupation.

Ema: My name is Ema Skye. And Occupation is become a full time science investigator.

Edgeworth: Ema Skye, you realize you'll be testifying about the events from the Joe Drake killings, correct?

All aware on what she has told Phoenix and Cassie so far.

Ema: I do.

Cassie: We're sorry we have to hear it from you again, Ema, but trust us. It's the only way to save Lana.

Once she does, there will be no turning back at all.

Phoenix: Ema, you don't have to do this.

Ema: It's my choice, Mr. Wright. Cassie's right. If my testimony can help out Lana, then I'll do whatever I'm able to do.

You heard the young girl, she really wants to do it.

Edgeworth: May I proceed, Mr. Wright?

No use backing out of this one in words.

Phoenix: I will then.

Cassie:: Sorry Phoenix, but Ema wants to.

Now to continue onward...

Edgeworth: Very good. Your Honor, the witness has already written a statement during the events during the time. May it also be part from the court record.

Judge: Very well, Mr Edgeworth. But I'm missing the whole point in the regular case at hand during this trial.

Edgeworth: Your Honor, this case is important to also be connected to the SL-9 case. I can't possibly think of any other case besides those two.

Judge: Very good, Mr. Edgeworth, please continue.

Seems understanding to continue on by hearing Ema's testimony.

Edgeworth: Thank you. Now Ms. Skye, in your statement from two years ago...you said that Joe Drake attacked you in the office. You also said that Neil Marshall arrived to stop him to save your life, and you were there when the moment he was killed.

Ema: That's right.

Edgeworth: I like for you tell the people in the court room on the event it all happened from the SL-9, with no details too big or small.

Ema: Okay, but there's so much I can say.

Here we go then.

Cassie: You can do this, Ema.

Phoenix: (The trip to yesteryear has finally begun...It's bound to lead to the truth behind this trial!)

Witness Testimony

Ema: I was waiting in my sister's office that day. A man came running in being Drake, and took me hostage. Neil Marshall rescued me, but I'll never forget what I saw that instant! The man raised up his knife, and...and stabbed Mr. Marshall in the chest...!

Well, if that's what happened to be some scary scene.

Edgeworth: I very much apologize for this again, Ema. I still wanted you to explain about this image you've scene the best you can.

Ema: Joe Drake was standing right in front of Neil Marshall with his knife out, he was on his knees right in front of him. And from that moment...I ran as far as I could in the dark and knocked Drake over.

From the scene of Joe having his knife out of to stab Neil for Ema to see, she remembers running over to the killer to try saving Neil's life and that was all she can remember.

Cassie: Man, that must've sucked. (Hard to remember anything to put you in a tight spot.)

Ema: I tried to do what I could to save his life, but it was already too late to save Neil Marshall's life in the end. After that, everything went blank.

A real shame for Ema only remembers those few things and tried to save Neil's life from Joe.

Edgeworth: Thank you, Ms. Skye. I believe from back then you were too traumatize to testify about in court.

Ema: That's right. I couldn't even speak when I was being questioned by the police. But I did draw a picture on what I saw.

And somehow it was never used during the time why?

Edgeworth: You did...? But that can't be right. The picture never reached to me.

Cassie: I hope it wasn't lost. (Or rather...Someone didn't get rid of it.)

It could be on a case of SL-9 to never be solved.

Phoenix: Perhaps not, but it actually exist.

Edgeworth: How do you know?

Phoenix: Because...I'm hold it!

Yep, in Phoenix's suit to pull out and present the drawing that Emma remembered from the event and made. From Joe had Neil to stabbing him with his weapon out from the looks of it, but the knife tip looked broken.

Cassie: *GOT YOU NOW!* Oh, right...I think we should cross-examination time and then talk about it next.

Cross-Examination

The question was this, where did the drawing come from?

Ema: But I don't understand, Mr. Wright. We never found the drawing.

Cassie: Not the drawing at first, because...the evidences note had the drawing on the back side of it. See?

Turning the paper over, it was all there. The drawing subscription and the evidences listing of the SL-9 case.

Phoenix: The detective who interview you didn't have any scrap of paper on him but this.

Cassie: So it was an accident to have two things on the sides on one paper.

Seems like it to be the right one to show so far, and yet it was very surprising to Ema to see is again.

Ema: The SL-9 evidence list.

Edgeworth: But that can't be! I have the evidence list right here.

Well, that's only because it was a fake.

Cassie: Ah Edgeworth, sorry to rain down on your parade but...We have the real one, and the other one in your hand was a fake to use to accuse Joe on murdering Neil Marshall. (Man, it doesn't take a whole mouth full to explain the whole thing.)

Phoenix: She's right. You have part of it, Mr. Edgeworth. But like Cassie said is all true...But the listing of the listing has been separated, and only that one reached you.

You mean there were two papers of one to be ripped up?

Judge: Good God! You mean there was truly a forgery?

Cassie: Someone who was around two years ago set it all up, Your Honor. All of it!

Edgeworth: But if that half was torn up before it could reach to me, then Cassie's right. Someone else from the team who did this was fully responsible.

Seems like it to all come together like this, with a lot more to say about it next.

Phoenix: Mr. Edgeworth, I understand your stress, but right now my concerned is the drawing on this sheet. You haven't been completely honest with us, Ema.

Cassie: Care to tell us on what you might've left out to share with the rest of the class?

Ema: Yes I have.

This has Edgeworth slamming his hands on the table.

Edgeworth: Wright, this is nonsense! Why would she lie?!

Not a lie, but have trouble knowing, with Phoenix hitting his hands on the table next.

Phoenix: Because she didn't realize she was doing it!

And Cassie does the same thing too.

Cassie: So calm down and listen! Sorry...Force of habit...But we're getting somewhere with this fast, I promise. Phoenix...

Phoenix: (Thank you, Cassie. As much as it's hard to question Ema any further was the only way.) You told us when lighting stroke, you saw two men fighting very clearly. But from we can see from the drawing, that's not the case. You only say two living beings in one flash of light. One of them is holding a knife, and you assume that he was Joe Drake.

Something else was told from the drawing...?

Ema: But Mr. Wright, who else could that be? Drake was the only one who had a knife.

Phoenix: And there we have our second problem.

Cassie: It's not Ema's fault, but for what someone told her about to mix things around is the reason why the whole plot ended up like this.

And more to explain for Joe wasn't the one who raise the knife at Neil, think about it...Turn it the other way around and you get this instead.

Phoenix: The knife in this picture has a broken tip.

Seeing the photo again, the knife did have a broken tip broken off to see it clearly.

Ema: Yes, just like the one they've found when they arrested Drake. The same one that Lana hid near Mr. Edgeworth's car.

Phoenix: You're right, this knife was found at the scene of the crime.

Showing it next to be the same thing found near the crime scene where Bruce's dead body was found in.

Cassie: However, the tip of this one is much different of a murder weapon. Still sharp of the pieces, and the other one could be if it's stabbed in deep enough.

Phoenix: But you see, Neil Marshall's autopsy confirms that he was killed by a single stab wound. When we add this to the other parts of the evidence, then we got ourselves with a contradiction.

Showing the other broken knife and a piece of it in a baggie.

Judge: And what is that?

Cassie: The real evidence from two years ago, and another fake from it to be shown today, Your Honor.

Phoenix: Your Honor, this is the tip of Joe Drake's knife. It was found stabbed deep in Neil Marshall's back.

From the looks of it, the tip from the other knife part in the baggie was the real deal.

Judge: But that means...!

Phoenix: It means from the knife that broke from which Neil was stabbed with, was not real. Which also means in this photo shows the knife was whole during the time.

From one piece to be true to have a fully one from the drawing to say so.

Judge: Maybe the witness was mistaken on what she saw.

Phoenix: That's the simple examination, Your Honor.

Cassie: If only that was true, but not likely. Phoenix and I prefer to think through the box a little. (A lot more to get closer to the truth.)

A lot more to talk about next to press and present.

Phoenix: Now question yourselves with this one...Could there have been a second knife on that night?

I think they were starting to get the picture so far.

Edgeworth: Ms. Skye, where's the picture you showed me?

She shows two different photos of it. Ema holds up the one with Damon, Lana, and Neil in it 'with Neil holding his trophy'; and the other other to be the same thing with Rose Gant in it.

Cassie: That makes two different photos which was taken on the same day, only for Rose to be in one of them and the other to be just three. More on the other photo later on.

Ema gives the trio photo to Edgeworth to talk about it first and the other photo to be as evidences to the court, for later on just in case.

Edgeworth: Mr. Wright's correct and so is Cassie. There was another knife at the crime scene and it fits the facts perfectly, for it has been under our noses this whole time.

For the trophy that Neil was holding had a sword, meaning that was the real murder weapon.

Phoenix: Brilliant! (Finally, the turnabout is coming around.) The King of Prosecutors Trophy!

Cassie: *BINGO!* This was the real murder weapon on which ended Neil's life!

Edgeworth: From which Mr. Marshall was given the reward on that same day. And some to assume he was carrying it in the dark.

Cassie: It must've been the last self defense.

Seems like it, Neil had to use something to stop Joe for him to break the part of the trophy to use as a weapon.

Judge: Will someone please explain?!

Yeah, before the Judge's head starts to hurt, from the photo and the two different trophies says it all.

Edgeworth: Today only has the King of Prosecutors with the shield trophy on it. But at one point from two years ago, it had a sword type of knife on it as well. No one knows what really happened to that knife, all we know is that Neil Marshall was the last person to be wielding the knife itself when it went missing. And I think I just found our answer...From the night he died, he must've been carrying his trophy. Before picking a fight with Drake, he must've remove the sword off the trophy to use to defend himself with it. The sword was broken when it was made, and it all fits in the drawing perfectly.

So in other words for Edgeworth and Cassie to be right...Neil did remove the sword off of the trophy to use to stop Joe with it which also fits in the drawing.

Cassie: See? I told you so.

Judge: If that's true, the man who was holding the knife was...

Yep, Neil was the one wielding the weapon to try stopping Joe.

Ema: Neil Marshall!

Phoenix: I'm afraid so, Ema. Marshall was supper himself to try fighting back.

And there was more to say about it next.

Edgeworth: Indeed, the right from Joe almost having the upper hand on Mr. Marshall, but it was the other way around. It was Neil who had the knife out on Joe.

Ema: Then if that's true...The man who I slammed into was...

It must've been Neil instead for Ema tried to stop to mistaken him for Joe due to the darkness.

Phoenix: I'm afraid so. (I think things might get worse on what we'll discover next.)

Cassie: You may have push Neil aside to mistake him for Joe.

This made Ema very upset to remember so far.

Edgeworth: But what does this prove? Even if Ema Skye were able to hit Mr. Marshall, it was too dark to take any other managing moves to us one push aside. We have no way of knowing without any more evidences.

I think that's Phoenix and Cassie's signal to make another move next.

Phoenix: Actually, there's something you haven't consider.

Edgeworth: What?

Cassie: Just listen to what we have to say first, will you Edgeworth? We're getting there.

A lot more to show and tell next.

Phoenix: As you well said, you only receive half of the evidence list. But if we're lucky, the paper wasn't torn up until Ema Skye's interview. Which means...there might be more to this picture on that half.

Cassie: (Now I see where this is going...) So let's put the papers back together and see what else it'll show us.

Could be their only shot they have to do.

Edgeworth: I suppose there's no harm in checking.

Seeing the backside of the other listing, Edgeworth should've known it was there.

Judge: What's with the reaction, Mr. Edgeworth?

Edgeworth: It's that thing, Your Honor.

Cassie: Did you find it?

Seems like Edgeworth did for sure.

Phoenix: What thing?

Edgeworth: It's the stupidity of the Blue Badger thing!

Showing another drawing done by Ema, it showed the head figure mascot off Blue Badger...from the back side of the other evidence listing?

Cassie: The Blue Badger's head...? (What the hell?)

Lots of silence happen in the room to be seeing something out of nowhere.

Phoenix: Oh my God...! It is, isn't it? It's actually the Blue Badger?

It fits the head shape well, but how's all of this even possible?

Ema: Now I remember, I knew I've seen it from before. I saw it that night.

Cassie: Aaaaah! Nothing's making any sense!

Yeah, there was a big problem with the Blue Badger drawing.

Phoenix: You're not serious...! (What's happening here?)

Ema: Yes Mr Wright, when I hit the man holding the knife, lighting stroke again and I saw an strange image.

Edgeworth: Whose?

Who could it be on what Ema trying to say?

Ema: The Blue Badger's.

Phoenix: But Ema, the Blue Badge didn't existed two years ago...Did it?

Cassie: It's true. Mr. Detective told me around Christmas time it was made, well almost the end of October it did. But he said the cops needed the idea to make their own mascot to be the Blue Badger itself to happen in some type of school of the kids' drawing, and it happened. So it appears about five months ago from last year.

All of it was true for Gumshoe told Cassie about it, and more with her and Phoenix during their investigation again to seeing it more.

Edgeworth: Surprising...Cassie's right. Listen Wright, I visit the police department every day, and the thing was news to me yesterday. When did you think it could've possibly be made. Is it just like what Cassie just said?

Phoenix: But how could Ema have seen it.

Cassie: Hmm...Wait, what if Ema saw something she has mistaken for the Blue Badger with something else.

Phoenix: It could of been unless...Yeah! (I got it!) Unless it happened the other way around!

I think those two were on to something now.

Cassie: Ema saw something that night with the same look and shape of the Blue Badger.

Phoenix: Recreation the image to remember, and then someone used it to make it look like the Blue Badger itself.

All seems to come together, only for Lana to speak out was a bad move there.

Lana: *HOLD IT!* Mr Wright! Ms. Freeman! Don't continue with this any further! I have confess to my crime, take me into custody.

Edgeworth: Ms Skye, you've been warned once.

Judge: Of course. If the defendant cannot contain herself, then you'll be remove out of the court room.

She has been warned already.

Cassie: Just shut up and listen, Lana, I'm sorry but it has to be done. Ema was aware of the mess to be in already.

And there was no turning back now.

Phoenix: Quite so, this was far from over yet. There must've been something in the room that night to look like the Blue Badger from some type of shadow. Whatever it was, it might not be there anymore. (The Blue Badger didn't even exist two years ago...So what exactly did Ema see? I've gathered all the evidence. All that's left now...is to put the pieces of the puzzle together...)

Cassie: Like what...? Huh?

Seeing the photo again, there was one thing to be shown on there.

Phoenix: Cassie, are you seeing this...? Yes. The answer is right under our noses, Mr. Edgeworth!

From the trio and other four teams to have something behind the background. Looking at it on Edgeworth's end, it showed the full up jar when it was fine from back then.

Cassie: If you're looking at the jar, and then move it on the side a little and then... *GOT YOU NOW!*

Phoenix: (Now we get what Ema was drawing.) Look familiar?

It was Blue Badger, it was the different angle look of the jar itself on what Ema really saw.

Edgeworth: That...?

Seeing it again to image the Blue Badger's face with the viewpoint of the jar, now Edgeworth sees it.

Cassie: Get it now?

Edgeworth: That's-!

Phoenix: Far too close to be consequences, wouldn't you say?

Now they all get it.

Ema: Oh my God!

Cassie: There you go. (If I didn't look at it clearly, we wouldn't found any answers on all of this.)

Edgeworth: But there was only one way to see it from that angle.

More to point out and explain next about the jar's viewpoint.

Phoenix: Exactly. It fell.

Cassie: *BINGO!* It sure did.

So what Ema saw from the lighting flashes to happen during the black out, the jar few down during Neil fighting off against Joe.

Edgeworth: Which means when Ema ran into Neil by mistake, she must've hit the jar to knock it right over.

Then something else hits to Phoenix next.

Phoenix: Hang on...

Edgeworth: And let's be in mind on which direction he was thrown in.

Phoenix: Edgeworth, stop!

Cassie: Don't say it!

Somehow, they already know what really happened to have one thing for Ema to get into big trouble next. Oh, no...

Phoenix: Don't you realize what this means?! Look at the photo!

Cassie: If Marshall had the force to hit from the top of the jar, what else would he run into instead?

Seeing the paper for Edgeworth to be doing next, he sees what it was for one objection in the room might've ended Neil's life with. None other some sharp dragon statue to have Neil get pushed and stabbed right into it.

Edgeworth: My God...!

Ema: No...!

Lana: I told you Mr Wright to leave it be!

Well, no use walking out of this one now!

Cassie: So what did Neil with was a dragon statue. (This is bad.) Phoenix...!

Phoenix: I'm sorry, Lana! We both are!

Judge: Surely there must be a mistake. The girl can really hope-!

But sadly, this whole thing might be the case.

Edgeworth: I'm afraid so, Your Honor. Although it was an accident, all of the facts fit together. Ema Skye killed Neil Marshall.

Showing of him stumbling to fall right into the sharp dragon statue from behind him from the back and into his heart was all true.

Cassie: But it shouldn't count as murderer, right...?

Gant: You should've shut up, Worthy.

Cassie: HEY! No one asked you, Mister!

He just had to open his big mouth...

Edgeworth: Excuse me?

With Damon getting out of his seat to say something right in Edgeworth's face.

Gant: Should've quitted while you still had the chance. Do you have any idea what you've done?

Edgeworth: Enlighten me.

Gant: Joe Drake was conflicted with murdering Neil Marshall and you're a prosecutor to be fully responsible, and you send an innocent man to his death.

No, he didn't know during the time to be all a set up by someone else's doing with Lana was force to help out.

Cassie: But Edgeworth didn't know during the time! So it's not true!

Phoenix: Joe Drake was anything but innocent. He was a really a serial killer!

Turning around to say something to them next.

Gant: Maybe...But he was only tried with one murder.

Cassie: (One murder...? Wait, don't tell me-!)

Something tells me that Cassie knows of that certain someone who was murdered by Joe himself.

Gant: In this court room, we're not fans of justice. We're keepers of the law. And the law doesn't take too likely around defense attorneys to be some type of god.

So prosecutor lawyers do their job and such the best they can, not to bad mouth the defense lawyers about it.

Cassie: Well excuse me!

Leaving the room for a bit, the Judge says this next.

Judge: I think in this matter of speaking, our fifteen minute recess is in order.

Hitting his gavel to do so, only for another outburst to happen...But not this time.

Cassie: Ah...Who wants to have pizza and some nice cold drinks?!

Other stopped to do so to take a break and eat and drink something. All to stop fighting in time 'for the Judge to be happy with Cassie's help' stopped another outbreak from happening like yesterday was. With the two lawyers talking across from each other, it was about to get much harder next.

Phoenix: (What a mess...!) Edgeworth, are you alright?

Edgeworth: I'm...I'm fine...I just need some fresh air.

Out he goes then, from being bad mouthed by Damon was hard enough as it already was on this guy.

Phoenix: I'll meet you at the lobby. Cassie, come join me.

Holding hands to do so and think things through.

Cassie: Right behind you, Phoenix, I need to use the bathroom too. (We have a lot to think about next.)

But before leaving the court room during recess, how was Ema feeling so far? Not so well to be crying about it for those two help her out.

Phoenix: Ema, come with us.

Cassie: Come on. We'll clean you up and talk about it, I'm sorry for what has happened so far.

But all she mutter was this...

Ema: I killed him...

Cassie: No, Ema. I'm sure there's another reason why it really did happened.

Phoenix: Cassie's right as she is cute, Ema. Listen, it's going to be alright. Follow us.

Leaving the room on what to do next was hard enough, even on Damon in the other room staring at Cassie and his daughter of Rose...Yeah, something must've happened to her from two years ago from the night Neil was killed, she must've died from Joe's doing before the night it all happened as well. More to come with next time, once recess was over with first. Break time! Ha! Of course, others watched the whole thing to not be just Phoenix, Cassie, and Edgeworth on this case - other familiar ones too. You'll see next time.
