Chapter 7
Danny walked quietly behind his parents and sister. Thinking over everything she said. Which left him in a rather peculiar spot and without the old man's help. Digging any deeper into the wormhole was useless. For now, it was only speculation and tells. Most of it being the same information repackaged differently. And most importantly how to defeat them or kill them. "So you wanna know what changed? Absolutely nothing everything we've read is consistent. However, I did get a bit more information on the ectopromordica age. The wand-wavers and ghosts have coexisted alongside one another for centuries. And they drove the ghost into the ghost zone."
"Danny, who are you talking to?" Jazz asked her brother. They had gone out to eat to help elevate some of the stress. He turned to look at her as a few eyes from people were on him. "Umhh we're kinda in public." Danny only shrugged his shoulders as he couldn't care who said what about him.
"Valerie," he admitted.
"She's back at the GAV," she replied. "Is there any particular reason why you're interested in them? I mean it's weird to see you pick up a new hobby."
"It's a research project for the old man," Danny replied. "Likely he means they went to war against them. This means that residue was leftover which is why ghosts can come to this world. And I think that reaction I had...yup you got it. Which means we're in for some interesting time." Jazz glared at her brother and this was getting annoying. He would randomly start talking in the middle of conversations about things outside his control.
"Oh," Jazz said. Thinking about how to respond, "Wanna talk about it? I mean you don't spend a lot of time at home anymore."
"No not really," Danny replied. "As I was saying…" Jazz's anger flared up and she moved over to her parents.
"Can we please get him into therapy?" She asked which only got an awkward stare from both of her parents. "What? You don't have the money for it do you?" They shook their heads.
"We're kinda burning up our savings, but my sister's son is more important," Maddie replied. "But once we get back to Amity Park. We're going to put a stop to this once and for all. Even if it means cutting off Danny from the old man or Valrie." She replied quietly. Not like Danny was going to pay much attention to them. Jazz could only smile sly, but the worry was still there. Why had Danny's personality changed so much? The longer this went on the stranger he became.
He carefully crept along the outside of the skirmish of the forest. As to not rustle the leaves of the bush which he stood next to. His brother was silently creeping through the forest. Wearing a ninja outfit with a water gun in hand, and his rattle connected to his belt. Smiling Timmy jumped out of the bush, "You're going down Poof!" He blasted the toddler with a blast of water from his water gun. Which Poof narrowly avoided his body was swirling into the air. "Darn it!" Timmy dropped the water gun and grabbed the second one from behind his back.
Only for Poof to blast him with water and both of them hit each other. Frowning at this both of them broke into a fit of laughter. They had decided to play with water guns and both of them flew into the air. Slowly though since their wings were wet, "Well what do you want to do now?" Timmy asked as he raised his rattle poofing both of them into dry clothes. Poof though a moment. "Wanna go get something to eat then?" Poof nodded his head. And with that, both of the toddlers flew back towards their home. Not even realizing they could just poof back to their house. Having a few acres of land to themselves was amazing.
It took them twenty minutes before they finally reached home and poofed themselves inside the house. "Poof Poof!/Hey Wanda!" Both of them called out at the same time. The older female fairy could only roll her eyes at them. "Poof/I'm Poof/ hungry." Both of them were speaking rapidly and she looked at them with a raised eyebrow.
"Ya, our kids our home!" Cosmo said proudly and instantly hugged Timmy before he could relax. Timmy glared at him as he struggled to get loose from Cosmo's grip. Which only got Wanda, and Poof in on the hug, "What?" Cosmo asked. "It's only a hug. Not the end of the world."
"Why do you always do that?" He asked in anger.
"Because you're our son," they both replied in sync.
"And you know sport you could've just poofed back into the house it would've been faster," Wanda added. Which only made Timmy facepalm. It hadn't even occurred to him. He could only grumble to himself, "Now then what do you guys want to eat?"
"Ooh Ooh, I know," Cosmo said.
"Pizza!" The three of them shouted in sync.
"Figures," she replied. "Well Cosmo will go get the pizza, what do you guys want to do?" Cosmo frowned at this. With that, they made their way to the living room. Not a care in the world what was happening outside their very own home. It took Cosmo a half n hour to find the pizza parlor. And once he returned the family of four just enjoyed themselves for the night. Once Wanda placed the two of them to bed she flew over towards Cosmo. "So how about we try this?" Cosmo grinned at her as she pulled out another book. "It couldn't hurt."
"Yay!" Cosmo said, "I hope it works."
"I do too…"
