It had taken a few hours to fix everything that Hexxus had ruined on his way over to Ferngully but it was healed.
Since the forest was safe and finally back to normal, that meant that it was time to party so everyone pitched in to help set up.
Budgie and the beetle boys were having fun rounding up the lighting bugs so they'd have some literal natural lighting for the party.
Crysta along with Batty were getting the food set up although Batty helped himself to most of the berries that he loved to eat so much.
Zak and Pips went to get more berries while laughing at their friends antics as Batty smiled sheepishly but then laughed along with them.
Once the party got set up, everyone danced to the music that was provided by the forest as they all had so much fun together once again.
However, Batty was feeling a little upset at his suggestion to leave Ferngully when Hexxus was coming since he hadn't felt any courage at all.
"What's the matter Batty?" Budgie asked him, her voice must've startled him. "Eh, nothing just thinking." Batty replied to Budgie with a forced lie.
Budgie wasn't buying his lie and Batty clearly saw that. "I'm just upset about my suggestion to leave when Hexxus was coming." Batty admitted.
"Why does it upset you?" Budgie asked gently, Batty explained that he was too scared to go up against up the evil smog spirit or even bad humans.
Budgie listened as Batty explained about how he'd been captured by humans to be used a test animal in a lab for all sorts of products before he escaped.
"I was so scared that I almost left you to fall that day." Batty added sadly, Budgie knew that he was talking about when the poachers tried to get away.
"But you didn't let me fall, you saved me and showed a lot of courage that day." Budgie responded with a smile, Batty perked up when she told him that.
"Don't forget about when you saved me from being crushed." Zak said as he flew over, Crysta and Pips were right behind him as they heard the two talking.
"Budgie and Zak are right, you helped to stop Hexxus the first time too." Crysta said with a smile, Batty nodded as he remembered what he did last time to help.
"Not to mention that you tried to save the baby animals back then." Pips added with a smirk, all four friends were trying to cheer their friend up and it was working.
Batty still wasn't sure if he'd actually shown any courage during those times so Budgie looked at Pips, Crysta and Zak who smiled as the forest changed the music again.

By the end of the song, Batty was feeling better thanks to his friends kind words. "Thanks you guys! I love ya so much!" Batty said as he sounded like Pumbaa from the lion king which made his friends laugh.
"I'm so proud of you all." A wise and gentle voice called out, everyone paused what they were doing. "Magi?" Crysta called back in disbelief, a bright light flashed and a fairy of old age made an appearance.
When the light went away, everyone but Zak and Budgie were shocked. "Hello everyone." Magi greeted softly, her voice made Crysta move. "MAGI!" Crysta shouted out happily, she flew to her old teacher.
Magi embraced Crysta in her arms. "I've missed you young Crysta." Magi said fondly, Crysta cried happy tears as she was reunited with her teacher even if it was for a short time but they were happy anyway.
"I've missed you so much Magi." Crysta replied with a sob, all the other fairies and animals gathered around the two as they talked which left Zak and Budgie standing side by side while watching their friends.
Zak and Budgie weren't sure what they should do as the other fairies talked to Magi about everything when she suddenly turned to them. "Are you both alright?" Magi asked kindly, Zak and Budgie nodded back.
"I hope you two have decided to stay in Ferngully as it is your real home just as I had said." Magi said with a smile, Zak and Budgie looked around as they saw the hope in everyone's eye hoping they'd stay for good.
Zak and Budgie shared a look before they smiled. "I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be." Zak replied with a smirk, his friends smiled then looked to Budgie who ducked her head in embarrassment for a moment.
"I'd like to stay too because I love my friends and new home so much that I want to protect it." Budgie responded shyly, Magi smiled as she was pleased with their answers while everyone cheered out loud for them.
"Welcome to Ferngully, young fairies." Magi said with a smile, she then turned to Crysta who promised to help teach Zak and Budgie while Pips said he'd help them learn more about the forest and the animals as well.
With that said, Magi vanished once more but the party continued as it was now a welcome party and everyone went back to dancing as the forest started up the natural music that it had been making for the fairies.
Zak and Budgie knew that they still had a lot more to learn about their new home and they couldn't wait to get started but figured that a little fun was in order first so they danced with Crysat and Pips all night long.
