Riku and Sora wake up.
"Do you want to get up?" Riku asks Sora who seems to be trying to become one with the blankets.
"Mhhh." Sora saids in his pile of blankets and pillows.
"Sora?" Riku asks as he turns to face Sora.
"Mhhh. Five more minutes." Sora mutters.
Riku looks at Sora and gets an idea.
"Come on, Sora. Time to get up." Riku saids.
"Nooooo..." Sora mutters into the blankets.
"Sora?" Riku asks. When Sora doesn't respond, Riku starts tickling him.
"Ahh! Riku!" Sora saids in laughter.
"Maybe this will teach you to get up." Riku saids as he flips Sora over and sits on top of him.
"Riku..." Sora mutters as Riku sits on him.
"Is there a problem?" Riku asks.
"Your on top of me." Sora whines.
"What? You don't like this?" Riku asks seemingly hurt.
"Off. You weigh something." Sora saids trying to push Riku off.
"Am I hurting you?" Riku asks as he gets off of Sora and sits next to him.
"A little." Sora admits.
"I'm sorry." Riku saids sadly.
"It's fine," Sora saids, "It doesn't hurt that much. Implanting myself on Ansem's Keyblade hurt more."
"But I don't want to hurt you. And besides you shouldn't have done that." Riku saids.
"I wanted to protect you and Kairi." Sora saids sadly.
"I should have been protecting you." Riku saids sadly.
All of a sudden, there is a loud growling sound.
"Sorry, that was my stomach." Sora saids sheepishly.
"It's fine. I suppose we should eat breakfast." Riku saids. They get out of bed and head downstairs to get breakfast.
"What do you want to eat?" Riku asks.
"Waffles?" Sora asks with puppy dog eyes.
"What kind of waffles?"
"Fruit?"
"Of course."
The waffle batter is made and cooked and the fruits is cut. Afterwards, the waffles are put onto plates and eaten.
"Those were good waffles."
"Glad you like them."
"What are we doing today?" Sora asks.
"Kairi, Namine, and Daphne are coming over today."
"Who's Daphne?" Sora asks.
"An acquaintance." Riku replies.
"Your friends are here." His mom saids.
"The sky is aware." A dreamy sounding voice saids.
"Hello, Riku. Why didn't you tell us Sora is back?" A female voice saids.
"Namine? Kairi?" Sora asks.
"Sora!" Kairi saids as she hugs him.
"Hello." Daphne saids.
"I miss you!" Sora saids as he tries to hug Kairi and Namine.
"There seems to be a pile of hugs on the floor." Daphne saids coldly and detached.
"Your the black haired girl? Xi-Xion?" Sora asks trying to figure out who Daphne is.
"Correct." Xion saids.
"Who is everyone this life?" Sora asks.
"I'm Tracy Davis, fifth year Slytherin." Kairi saids.
"Luna Lovegood, fourth year Ravenclaw." Namine saids dreamily.
"So what are you doing, staying with Riku?" Kairi asks.
"I can't stay with Riku?" Sora asks with tears in his eyes and pouting.
"You can." Kairi saids trying to stop Sora from crying.
"Your boyfriend is about to cry." Namine saids looking at Sora and talking to Riku.
"Sora. Please stop crying." Riku saids.
"But Kairi said I can't stay with you." Sora saids crying.
"Come here." Riku saids and he gathers Sora in his arms and starts rocking him.
"Usually, Sora doesn't start crying." Kairi saids trying to stop Riku from being angry at her.
"I know." Riku replies.
"We were going to ask if you wanted to go supply shopping with us." Namine saids.
"Sure. Once Sora stops crying. Are you ok, Sora?"
"F-Fine." Sora chokes out.
"Shh. It's ok. It's ok." Riku saids rocking Sora.
"I'm fine." Sora saids softly.
"Are you sure?" Riku asks.
"Yes." Sora replies.
"When are we going supply shopping?" Riku asks.
"Now?" Kairi answers.
"Let me tell my parents where we are going and we can go." Riku saids.
He tells his parents and they head out to Diagon Alley.
"Robes first?" Xion asks.
"Sure." Namine saids.
They head to the robe shop and get their school robes and Riku orders something but he doesn't share what it is.
"What did you order?" Kairi asks.
"A surprise." Riku replies.
"What kind of surprise?" Sora asks.
"Something you will like."
"Are you giving that to Sora?" Namine asks out of nowhere.
"What's that?" Sora asks.
"I will." Riku replies.
"What's that?" Sora repeats.
"Here." Riku saids as he lays that in Sora's hand.
"My necklace..." Sora saids and he puts it on.
"Is that a courting gift?" Xion asks.
"What? No." Riku insists.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes!"
"Let's get our books." Kairi saids as she breaks up Xion's and Riku's conversation.
They head to the book shop and get their books for the school year.
"Does anyone want ice cream?" Xion asks.
"Sure! Do they have sea-salt?" Sora asks.
"Yes." Riku replies.
They all order sea-salt ice cream, pay, and head back to Riku's house.
"That was fun." Kairi saids.
"Yeah. I missed you." Sora saids.
"Maybe spend time together later?" Kairi asks.
"Sure." Riku replies.
Namine, Kairi, and Xion leave Riku's house.
"You want lunch?" Riku asks.
"Not right now. Maybe later?"
"Any later and it would be dinner."
"That's fine."
Sora starts his summer homework and Riku helps him until dinner when they eat and then afterwards head to bed.
"Night, Ri."
"Night, Sky."
Riku and Sora fall asleep.
