"Paralyzer! Heads up!"

The teen hero in training spun around, just in time to see a man flying in his general direction. Recognizing the man as the criminal they were currently pursuing, he acted quickly, and pricked the man in the back of the leg, and caught him as he went limp, before lowering him to the ground gently. He tied the man up, just in time for his friend, as well as partner hero in training to jog over with a big grin on his face.

"Nice one dude. That's the third one today! We're totally gonna score some brownie points with boss."

He nodded, and they high fived. "Totally. Was he the only one?"

Abel nodded. "Think so. He's the only one I saw."

"Well, you'd be sorely mistaken, little hero!"

The two teens spun around and saw a man with tons of clocks all over his body, grinning maniacally at the two. The two lowered themselves and prepared to battle with the villain. Music blared as Abel's quirk fired up, and Austin flexed his arms, ready to back his friend up. The villain wagged his finger.

"Ah ah ah! I know that I, Time Turner, can't beat both of you in a one on one! I'm just not suited for that! But, I can't just let you take my partner like that! So, I'll just have to get rid of you the normal way."

The two looked at each other in confusion, before they noticed that the dust on the ground had begun to spin around them, creating a vortex of what appeared to be sand. Suddenly, in the middle of the vortex, a white light began to shine, and Abel groaned.

"Dude, Mr. Bakugo is going to be so totally pissed at us."

With those final words to his friend, the two heroes in training disappeared in a flash of light, and the streets went quiet. Time turner dusted himself off and picked up his limp partner. He grunted under the weight of the obviously larger man.

"Urk. Maybe I really should start working out."

The world swirled around Abel, and the poor teen was completely disorientated. It didn't help that he was spinning around like he was being flushed down the toilet. He'd call for Austin, but he didn't want to risk opening his mouth and puking all over the place. He could feel the sand whipping against his face, stinging his skin, which didn't help towards his predicament at all. After a few moments of spinning, the world suddenly came to a screeching halt, and he was spat out onto a hard surface, one that suspiciously felt like laminate flooring. A heavy weight fell on top of him, and he let out a grunt of pain, also trying to hold in his vomit. Well, at least he knew where Austin was now. He groaned, leaning his head back to the floor.

Austin wasn't in much better shape than his friend. He rolled off from on top of him, his world still turning circles around him. He recognized the buzz of florescent lights above him, as well as the strong smell of tea wafting through the room. Had he not been so nauseous, the smell would've been pleasant. Instead, it made his stomach churn, and he groaned, rolling off the top of his friend-shaped cushion.

"Dude. What happened?"

Abel was the first of the two to speak. However, before Austin could answer is friend with a strong and resounding 'I have no idea,' He was interrupted by a different voice, one that he couldn't place.

"Yes, I'd like to know the same. Preferably, before I call security and have you two forcibly captured and removed."

The voice was calm, almost cheerful, but the threat was enough for the two of them to quickly reorient themselves, sitting up in the process. They quickly gathered their surroundings, recognizing the room to be an office of some sort. In front of them, a strange white bear dog mouse thing sat calmly at a desk that was way too big for him, calmly sipping a cup of tea. Abel stared at him for a moment, unable to speak, leaving Austin to speak in his place.

"Villain attack. Not sure where we are. Uh, who are you?"

He really didn't mean for it to come out like that, but once he spoke, the animal creature gained a curious expression.

"Oh, you're American. That's most curious. Well, if you must know, you're currently laying in the floor of my office at U.A. High."

Abel quirked an eyebrow. "U.A.? That's that huge hero school in Japan right? Where Mr. Deku, and Mr. Bakugo both went?" He turned to his friend with the question, who nodded. The animal creature set his tea down, now thoroughly intrigued by the two.

"Why, you say that like they don't go here at all." He seemed to have a knowing gleam in his eyes.

Abel paused for a moment, seemingly deep in thought. Austin piped up.

"Uh, with all due respect, they graduated like 15 years ago?"

The animal man nodded, and Abel seemed to be having an epiphany.

"Dude….."

Austin looked at him confused, waiting for the rock-n-roll teen to continue.

"Dude. We're in Back to the Future!"

The spined teen gave his friend a deadpan look. The creature at the desk spoke up.

"Ah, that's an interesting way to put it. But Time quirks aren't completely unheard of. Are you two heroes in training perhaps?"

They turned to him, nodding. The creature grinned.

"Very well then. I am Nezu, principal of U.A. High. May I please see your provisional licenses?"

They pulled their wallets out, and showed the principal their licenses, which they had only recently received. He nodded.

"These are indeed official American Licenses. The date is a little off, but I'm sure that as long as no one sees it, you'll be perfectly fine."

The two looked at each other, then back to Nezu in confusion.

"Uh, Mr. Nezu. What do you mean exactly?"

The white bear dog thing grinned excitedly, before putting his paws together.

"Well, any good teacher wouldn't let students just go without proper lessons and training! So, until we can find a way to send you back to your own time, you'll both be temporary transfer students here at U.A. High! Now, fill out these papers for me. I assume you're both first-years?"

The two nodded, and Nezu beamed.

"Splendid!" He hit a button on the phone on his desk. "Erasurehead, could you please step into my office for a moment?"

There was a moment of silent, before a man walked into the door. He gave a curious glance to the two teens sitting at Nezu's desk, seemingly filling out paperwork, and then looked to the small rodent creature. He recognized the look in his eyes, immediately becoming uneasy.

"What is it, sir?"

Nezu smiled. "I think you ought to take a seat for this, Shota."

The man already felt a headache coming on.

Erasurehead had heard many stories in his life. He had even heard a few about time travel, and time travel quirks. As he stared at the two provisional licenses, he rubbed his temples in aggravation.

"And you want them in my class."

Nezu nodded. "Yes. Very much so."

Aizawa sighed. "Well, not much I can do about it. Come with me you two. I want to assess you before we shove you in a bunch of students. Unless things have changed in the next ten years, you're more than likely ahead of the current Class 1-A, as we haven't gone to get their provisional licenses yet."

The two teens nodded, following the drowsy man to what looked to be a training gym. He walked to one end of the room and motioned for the other two to stay at their end. He faced them, and cracked his knuckles.

"Okay."

He paused for a moment, before letting loose his scarf, which starting hurtling towards the boys. They managed to jump out of the way, but the scarf snaked its way around, and continued to pursue the two of them. Austin, being the slower of the two, was the first one to be caught. Abel was able to hit play on his music player and Walk by Pantera started blaring through his headphones. He felt a surge of power and he grabbed the scarf, pulling it as hard as he could. The sudden jerk caused Erasurehead to let go of his friend for a moment, allowing an opportunity for Austin to wriggle his way free from the scarf.

Abel gave his friend a thumbs up, before they both turned to the man. His scarf waved around them dangerously, and he gave them both sharp looks. Abel had a determined grin on his face, and Austin had a look of intense focus. The long-haired teen held up a signal, and began running to the left, his speed slightly boosted by his quirk. He moved as fast as he could, as he knew he was on borrowed time. Austin closed in from the other side, but Erasurehead simply jumped back, nimbly avoiding both teens. Suddenly, his hair rose, and his eyes flared a crimson red. Abel felt his strength leave him, frowning.

"He took my quirk."

Austin nodded, and they switched places, with the larger teen now leading the charge towards the scruffy hero. Erasurehead paused for a moment, and allowed them to get closer, and they began to fight him two on one. He avoided the heavy punches coming from the larger teen, while also trying to stay weary of the smaller teen, who was weaving around his friend, filling in the gaps in his own attacks. Suddenly, he felt himself being grabbed, and he noticed that the larger boy was aiming to stick him with one of the quills that stuck out from his arm. Erasurehead reacted quickly, and threw his scarf around both teens, wrenching himself free, and slamming the two of them into the floor in the process. He looked down to them and nodded.

"You both still need work before you're ready to be real pros, but you've got potential. Good synchronization. I assume you two work together often?"

Abel grinned. "We've been friends a while, and we're interning under the same hero."

Erasurehead nodded. He recognized some of the tactics that they used, as they were things he frequently taught. Although, they were obviously taught by more head on attackers.

"You should both think about what to do against a long-range opponent. You're both close range fighters, and while you're good, if you can't close in on your opponent, you're pretty much useless."

The words were harsh, but no worse than what they normally heard from Mr. Bakugo. Really, he pulled his punches in comparison. He looked over to Austin.

"I assume that your quirk has something to do with those spines?"

He nodded. "They're coated with a special neurotoxin that can paralyze people. My spit is the antidote."

The older pro nodded. "I see. A very advantageous quirk. You need to work on your speed, as is, you're pretty easy to avoid. Maybe look into support items that help you with long range like I said. You too." He said, turning to Abel.

"You rely on your quirk a bit too much for my liking as well. I assume you get a power boost based on your music?"

Abel nodded. "Yeah, it's kinda long-winded to explain properly, but that's the gist."

He grinned and scratched the back of his head. "And hey, go easy on us teach. We did just get off of patrol. We're not exactly at 100%."

Aizawa gave him a sharp look. "Noted."

The rocker teen wilted under the gaze, his attempt to lighten the mood having failed. He motioned for the two to get up.

"Well, go to Nezu. I'm sure that he'll provide you with some temp uniforms. Also, I recommend you wash those costumes. We'll work on living arrangements later. For now, head to the first floor, to Class 1-A's homeroom. They should be starting the next class soon, so if you hurry, you won't be late."

The two nodded and did as the scraggly man asked. Abel grinned over to his friend.

"Man this is kinda wild! We really went back in time like 15 years! I'm like, 1!"

Austin chuckled. "Yeah, it's pretty cool. Although, I do hope we can get back soon. I'd hate to spend like a whole year here, and then get back and be way ahead of everyone."

Abel shrugged. "Well, maybe we could get sent a year forward if that happened?"

The larger teen frowned. "But then we'll have been missing for like a year? Would they know we came back in time because we're here now?"

The rocker teen frowned as well, thinking about the logistics of time travel for a moment, before shaking his head.

"Dude, I honestly don't have the energy to even think about thinking about it. Let's just get the drip and get to class."

Austin chuckled at his terminology, and they walked together in relative silence for the rest of the time.

Once they had gotten their uniforms from Nezu, the two had followed the directions given to them to find where Class 1-A would be at this time. They looked up at the huge door, and opened it, walking inside.

As they stepped through the door, immediately all eyes were on them. There wasn't a teacher in yet, so all the students were either idly chit-chatting, or preparing for the coming class. There were looks of confusion all around the class, and the two Americans scanned the room, looking at the teenage version of all the future Pros they would know. Bakugo gave them a skeptical stare, his gaze icy, while others simply regarded them with confusion or curiosity. Then the skeletal form of All Might entered the room, who smiled at the two teens.

"Ah, I see our new transfer students are here!"

There were murmurs around the class, and All Might clapped them both on the shoulders, giving them a wink.

"Why don't you two introduce yourselves?"

They looked over to each other, and Austin stepped forward first.

"Hello, my name is Austin Bordette. We are transfers from America. Pleased to meet you."

Abel stepped up behind him and grinned. "Name's Abel Chevelle! Rockin' cool to meet you dudes!"

The taller teen rolled his eyes at the dramatic introduction, and All Might gave a hearty chuckle. He motioned for the two to go sit at the two desks that had been recently added to the classroom.

As All Might talked about how to deal with press, and the ins and outs of public image, Abel tapped his desk to the beat of a song he was listening too, while Austin absentmindedly sketched into the notebook he was given. It wasn't that he wasn't paying attention, at the very least he was paying more attention than Abel, but he was lost in thought about their situation. His friend seemed much less worried about the implications, but he wondered how exactly this would affect the future. He would try not to do too much to make anything different, but maybe just the sheer fact of them being here was enough to set the whole time-space continuum out of balance. He sighed, running a hand through his hair. The girl seated ahead of him, one of the people he didn't really recognize, turned to him, giggling slightly.

"You seem like a bundle of nerves, a lot like Deku."

He blushed at the obvious fact, as well as being spoken to by an attractive female. She giggled again.

"Really, you blush just like him too. Maybe you two are related?"

He highly doubted it, but he didn't voice that. He simply shrugged, mumbling a 'Maybe' under his breath. The girl gave a bubbly smile.

"I'm Ochaco Uraraka. It's nice to meet you!"

He gave a small smile in return. "Yeah, nice to meet you too."

She turned back around, and continued to pay attention to the lesson, and he could feel Abel leaning over as soon as she did.

"Hey there big guy. Laying the mac down already, huh? I knew you had it in you."

The larger teen rolled his eyes, and decided that he should just listen to the rest of the lesson, and ignore his friend. Abel simply gave a cheeky grin, and turned back to his own seat.

After the lesson ended, the two were surprised to see that it was the last class of the day. A few people approached them, including Mina Ashido, and Kyoka Jiro, two of Abel's favorite heroes. He talked music with Jiro for a moment, and they all discussed the differences between America and Japan. They made the comment that they really hadn't gotten to explore the area, which was an offense to Mina, who insisted that they all go out, including Ejiro Kirishima, Hanta Sero, and Kaminari Denki, the last of which was already hitting it off with Abel, something that both terrified and amazed Austin.

"Oh my goodness there is two of them."

The others simply laughed, and Abel shrugged, deciding that he was the cooler one out of the two, much to Kaminari's chagrin.

Apparently, they'd also be staying in some of the extra dorm rooms that were in the recently built Height's Alliance dorms. Abel sighed, and looked over to his friend.

"Dude, would it be bad if I decided to get a girlfriend here, and just stay here forever?"

Austin snorted. "Yeah, probably. I mean who knows how that would change the future. Plus, how are we supposed to become the greatest hero duo ever if you're stuck here in the past."

The rock-n-roll teen groaned. "Ugh, you're right. But I've totally got something going on with Jiro and Ashido. Man, pink skin is totally super cool."

Austin, without thinking, said," You know, my twin sister has pink skin right now."

He almost immediately regretted saying it, as Abel was immediately upon him, grilling him about this twin sister of his, and demanding why he wasn't told sooner.

"Dude come on! I'd totally hook you up with my sister if you hook me up with yours!"

Austin frowned for a moment, his mind going to the poofy-haired, bubblegum chewing girl that was Cindy Chevelle. He shook his head.

"No thanks man, I think she's a little too much for me."

Abel snickered. "Well, I get it dude. I think Cindy is too much for anybody."

They shared a laugh, before Austin sighed.

"Man, do you think we're gonna be here long? I mean, what if we totally ruin the space-time continuum?"

Abel shrugged. "Dude, like I said earlier, I don't wanna think about it. I mean maybe because our timeline is the one that happened, us getting sent back in time is exactly what puts the events forward for us being sent back in time, and without this happening, our timeline as we know it wouldn't exist."

Austin's head spun from the paradox, so he decided that he liked the idea of just not thinking about it again.

"Maybe you're right. I dunno. But what I do know, is that I'm beat."

Abel nodded. "I think I'm going to go lay on a lightly made bed and become dead to the world for at least twelve hours. Hey, at least we time travelled to a Friday, so we don't have school tomorrow. That villain was way cooler than I thought."

The spined teen chuckled. "Yeah, I totally agree."

The two headed to the dorm, Austin deciding to raid the kitchen before he went to his own room. On his way out, he nearly ran into Bakugo.

"Get out of my way, porcupine."

Austin, bewildered at the nickname, didn't say anything, and just watched as Bakugo angrily sauntered away.

"Okay, yeah. James is definitely Bakugo Jr."

Both teens fell asleep almost as soon as their head hit the pillows, thinking about how long it was until they were able to return home.

The next day, Abel drearily walked downstairs, and was greeted by the other people that didn't enjoy waking up early. Mina was nursing a cup of coffee, and Abel decided that he would join her, as well as Kaminari, who was lightly snoring on the countertop. At the dining room table, Iida flipped through the newspaper like a 50 year old man, and a handful of others sat on the couch, watching T.V.

Mina sipped her coffee, and looked over to the rocker teen.

"Hey, I meant to ask yesterday. What's your quirk do?"

Abel sipped the coffee, his eyes barely open. "Well, basically, I listen to music and I get a stat boost. Hard stuff makes me stronger, fast stuff makes me faster, long stuff increases my endurance, ect."

She whistled. "That's a pretty cool one."

Austin wasn't long down the stairs afterwards, and he was asked a similar question.

"Oh, I produce a neurotoxin from these spines on my wrist, and I can pretty much completely incapacitate someone."

Kirishima looked over from the couch. "Woah, that's a totally manly quirk. Super cool."

Austin blushed. "Well, it's only really useful in short range."

Abel held up his cup. "But it's definitely really useful in short range. Oh, one time, we were on patrol, and…"

Abel went on to recount one of the times the two had stopped a robbery when they were interning with the hero they worked with. Tenya gave them a curious look.

"You two have operated under heroes? Do you have a provisional license?"

Austin nodded. "Uh, yeah actually. I guess curriculum is a little more expedited in America."

He handed the blue haired boy the card, and he was immediately impressed.

"You two must be incredibly studious to already have your provisional licenses. That is very impressive."

Austin blushed, and Abel grinned. The rest of the morning was spent making idle chit-chat with everyone in the common area, and then Abel and Austin, along with a handful of other students left campus to go hit up the mall. Of course, the two couldn't really buy anything due to a serious lack of funds they could use, but it was still entertaining to sight-see. Abel had a jam session with Kyoka in a music store, one that drew in a small crowd of people as the rocker teen wailed on the Ibanez he had picked up, and Kyoka shredding a Stingray bass. The two gave each other huge grins, high fiving once it was over.

Afterwards they made a ton of other stops. Most of they guys got regulated to carrying bags of clothes for the girls, giving the said girls sharp looks when they realized they were being used for labor. Austin didn't mind too much, although he was a little embarrassed. It wasn't really a whole lot he was carrying, for him anyway. Perks of being strong, he mused. Abel walked beside him.

"You know, this isn't so bad. Honestly, I wouldn't mind hanging out with these guys for a while. They're definitely not as standoffish as like, our entire class."

Austin shrugged. "They aren't that bad."

Abel gave him a deadpanned look. "We've barely hung out with anyone that wasn't Katsu or Blake. Drake hardly counts 'cause he's such a sourpuss, and everyone else pretty much keeps to themselves. Moxie's pretty cool though."

Austin agreed, also suggesting that Synaes was cool, to which Abel compared her to a block of ice. It was a little harsh, but he couldn't say he disagreed with the rocker boy.

They wandered around for a little bit longer, before they finally went back to the campus for the day. When they got there, Aizawa pulled the two boys to the side.

"Look, we found the villain that sent you here, but there's a problem."

They tilted their heads. "What is it?"

Aizawa showed them a file of a little boy. "The kid is only 7 years old right now, so there's no way he has enough control over his quirk to send you back to your exact time."

The two visibly deflated at the news. While they liked it here at U.A. they had families and needed to go home. Aizawa grabbed the file, continuing.

"Don't give up yet. Nezu knows a ton of people. He's going to talk to some people with some time-related quirks and see if we can't find a way for you to go back to your original time. In the meantime, we'll have you two participate in all 1-A classes and activities. So, get used to it for now. That will be all."

He sent the two off, who headed back to the dorm. Austin sighed. Abel gave him a reassuring pat on the back.

"Don't worry man. This'll be all sorted out in no time."

The taller boy couldn't help but give a small smile at his friend's optimism.

Yeah, he was right, this was gonna be sorted out in no time at all.

To be continued…
