She sighed, looking at the clock. "Nearly dawn now, no time to see Sookie tonight."

"She's going to kill me…" another sigh.

-her last finger stopped short, just as the office door opened. Eric.

Pam shook her head at him. "Long night?" His hair was a mess from flying, he was usually good about fixing it before he walked into the bar. Granted, it was late enough the only human that would see him like this was Ginger. It was more than just messy hair though, he was covered in dirt. He sat down heavily on the leather couch. He stretched his long legs out in front of him, as he swiped his hands at some of the dust on them. He nodded. "Anything I need to know?" she asked tentatively. He paused folding his hands into his lap. He thought for a moment, looking up at the ceiling. He shook his head. They sat in silence for a few moments, Pam unsure where to go next with Eric. She was afraid to ask any questions that could lead him to Sookie. She wasn't ready for that to happen yet, she needed more time. Eric's eyes snapped to Pam. He looked confused.

"Is Ginger singing louder than normal or is it just me?" Eric asked suddenly, eyes closed with his fingers massaging his temple.

Pam studied him for a short moment before answering, "I can't hear her singing at all." He opened his eyes and looked at Pam again, his brow furrowed. "You can't hear her at all?" Pam shook her head this time. Eric got up and left the office, closing the door behind him. She stared at the empty space he had been sitting in before she sighed. She got up from behind his desk. One thing was very clear, she needed to find that fairy boy.
