The girl's room looked like Marinette's pouches exploded. Alya's bed barely left unscathed as Marinette and Adrien reviewed everything she needed while quizzing Nino on his potions vs. poisons. Couldn't have their bard confusing them when facing against the final boss a second time around.
"And this one," asked Marinette, holding up a jar filled with green slimy substance.
"Plant jelly? Not lethal but can give a stomach ache," answered Nino. Marinette nodded before moving the bottle to Adrien's line of sight.
"No, unless you can mix it and make a potion out of it. We already have enough BBs."
Marinette nodded, adding the jar to the discarded collection.
Along with her healing potions, Marinette and Adrien had figured out how to make tiny bombs Adrien could store in his own pouch belt, named Bug Bombs by the duo from the dried fire beetles they had used to make them. Alya had suggested Baby Bombs, but that earned a scowl from Marinette and a blush from Adrien.
"Don't you think it would be better to scout his castle first then attack later," groaned Alya, changing her position so he head leaned over the bed.
"We don't know what we are going to encounter. His lair could be a dungeon for all we know filled with traps and monsters," answered Adrien as he nodded to Marinette's next selection.
"We may have been underprepared the first time, so it's best to over prepare now. If we can get away with just scouting, then maybe we'll go back later," added Marinette.
"Why wait? We could be reincarnated this weekend if we just kill him Friday night or Saturday," asked Adrien.
Marinette lowered the item in her hand, watching hands twiddle with the jar.
"I kind of like it here, with everyone. And helping people. I think I might ask to hold off my reincarnation until I finish school here first." She looked up, Adrien blushing.
"I've been learning a lot with you guys too, so maybe I'll do the same and just go back to earth after."
"Do you think we could request we reincarnate together, like soulmates but friendship ones or something," asked Alya?
"Dude, that would be awesome if we meet each other in our next life! Like going to a regular school with no demon teachers or monsters to fight for homework," cheered Nino, earning a laugh from the group.
"It sure wouldn't hurt to ask, especially if we are taking down a demon lord," giggled Marinette.
"So that settles it, we defeat the Demon Lord Plagg, and for our reincarnation, we ask to be reincarnated together," asked Adrien, extending his hand. One by one they all laid their hands on top of his, sealing their promise.
Their stake-out plan sounded great when they thought of it. As any demon lord teacher with a secret agenda would, Team B expected Plagg to leave the school grounds after school was over and head into the forest. The only slight problem with their plan at the time was what if he did his shadow travel thing to his castle once he left the village, leaving them lost, but at least they would have all of Friday night to find it.
So, using Alya's illusions, Team B disguised themselves as a bush and waited by the school doors for their Champions teacher to leave.
By dawn, and with no sign of the teacher, their plan seemed a little stupid.
"What if he shadow traveled from the school to his castle," yawned Alya, struggling to stay awake. Nino was already asleep, his song of vigilance unable to keep him conscious so late in the night.
"We noticed he can shadow travel within the school grounds, or outside of the school grounds, but he never shadow travels between the two," explained Adrien, who was oddly still perky after no sleep. Marinette was otherwise struggling to stay awake, nudges from Alya nearly pushing her into Adrien's lap as a pillow.
"It's probably god runes otherwise any demon could travel inside," mumbled Marinette, eventually settling to use Adrien's shoulder. The boy's cheeks turned pink, hesitating slightly as he slowly rested his head on Marinette's.
"Any chance we would, I don't know, grab his jacket before he shadow travels so he takes us with him," asked Alya.
"Maybe, we apparently travel through white light when we're summoned by gods to another world, so traveling through shadow might be the same thing."
"But wouldn't that mean shadow or darkness magic instead of the light magic that heroes have?"
Honestly, asking Adrien questions was the only thing keeping Alya awake. When not planning Plagg's demise in some form of studying or practice, he was usually reading. Apparently Team A never let him get much reading done, and he was more than content to read in the dining area while Marinette practiced her potions in the kitchen. It was weirdly and romantically domestic.
"Possibly, but apparently humans are very susceptible to demon corruption, so the magic would need to be monitored. Being contracted to a demon familiar would help with the balance because it's shared or receiving a counter gift from a god. But it would be more difficult to maintain the balance by yourself. Which is why there are no records of a shadow magic hero."
"Maybe there are, the teachers just don't tell because of how corruptible it could make a hero?"
"Possibly, but considering how weird this world is, you'd think they would at least warn us."
Alya nodded, trying to come up with more questions when the doors to the school opened. Plagg strolled out, looking like he would rather be sleeping but had an appointment as he trudged towards the school gates. Alya and Adrien nudged Nino and Marinette awake, the group scrambling to follow after Plagg as he opened the gate for the school. In a puff of smoke, he transformed to his human looking self as he stepped outside the gates and entered the village. He nodded to people he passed, Team B's bush trying to remain inconspicuous as it jumped from walls to planters.
As predicted their teacher headed to the forest past the guild, still keeping his human form until the village was obscured by trees. In a puff of smoke, Plagg returned to his demon form, scanning the area before disappearing into the stretching shadow of a tree.
Nino groaned, falling to his knees, "A whole stake out wasted."
"Oh please you were asleep for half of it," scolded Alya, lightly tapping Nino on the back of his head with her staff. Marinette crept forward examining the shadow where the demon disappeared to.
"You ok Marinette," asked Adrien, coming up beside her. The girl nodded as she attempted to cover a yawn with her hand.
"We knew this could happen, I just hoped it wouldn't."
"Well, it wouldn't be an adventure if it was as easy as him leading us to his castle."
Marinette smiled, standing back up and stretching, "Your right, which will make our reward all the better. Let's head for the mountains!"
Marinette pointed in the general direction of the local mountain range, Adrien hurrahing while Alya and Nino gave less enthusiastic cheer. The group started to march forward when a black cat jumped out of a tree. The group immediately froze, waiting for the cat to continue his path, but the cat stared back.
"Do either of you any bad luck counter curses," whispered Adrien?
Alya and Nino both shook their heads no.
"Any good luck potions?"
Marinette shook her head no.
"Great, so we're cursed with bad luck before we even begin," whispered Nino.
"50/50, the black cat in the library led me to the demon books so take that as you will," answered Adrien.
At the mention of the library, the cat meowed, turning to the head further into the forest.
Marinette snatched Adrien's arm.
"What if this is the same cat?"
The cat stopped, looking back at the group with a devious smile before meowing again. It then bolted for the trees. Marinette immediately ran after it, followed by Adrien and their two mages.
"If he's pulling this kind of stunt, then it probably is the same cat," wheezed Adrien as he caught up to Marinette.
"How does a normal looking cat know so much about demons? And why is he trying to help us," panted Alya.
"Maybe he helps the gods or is an ally from the old world who also wants us to kill the demon lord."
The cat yowled in response before sharply turning a corner.
The group followed, barely stopping before a giant tree. The cat climbed up its trunk, disappearing into the leaves.
"That's a really big tree," whispered Nino.
"Even bigger than Willow's," added Marinette. She's about to step forward, when Adrien grabs her shoulder. She looks back to him and he points at the ground.
In front of the tree, is a circle of mushrooms.
"A fairy circle," whispered Marinette, squatting down to examine it.
"So is the cat some sort of fairy guard or something," asked Alya, stepping around to examine the ring from the other side.
Suddenly a loud yowl came from the crown of the tree, the cat tossed from the branches. It landed on its paws before scampering away.
"And stay out demon!" Screamed a high pitch voice, a blond haired fairy in a blue petal dress flying out of the tree with her twig spear raised. A dark haired fairy followed, also in similar attire.
"Calm down the monster is gone," said the other fairy to her companion. The angry blond stomped her foot in the air.
"Stupid demon cat! Thinking he can come to our festival! It's a festival for heroes not demons!"
"There's a festival," asked Nino, his sleep deprived state ruining all logic as his teammates hurried to shush him. But he already attracted the fairies' attention.
The sprites flew up to the group, fluttering around to examine them.
"They look like heroes," commented the dark haired one.
"A mage, a bard, this one wield a staff, and you have all sorts of things on you," the blond fairy flitted up to Marinette, "What's your name possible hero?"
Marinette bit her lips shut, not trusting herself to say anything.
"Names hold power, so we'll tell you ours if you tell us yours," answered Adrien, tightening his hold on Marinette's shoulder.
The fairies zoomed over to Adrien.
"Smart boy and very much a hero if he knew this," commented the blond.
"Then, they must be here for the festival," said the dark haired fairy.
The group looked at each other, not certain what the right answer would be.
"Of course we're here for the festival," announced a familiar voice, lengthy arms draping themselves around the group as Plagg leaned in closer to the fairies, back in his human form.
The girls flew up to his face and began examining him.
"Are you their teacher? You don't look like a god," the blond one eyed him suspiciously.
"He's new," interrupted Marinette, everyone looking at the small warrior, "A remarkable hero in his past life and the gods offered him a chance to teach at our school before admitting him to godhood."
Plagg smirked, leaning closer to the fairy, "As the young hero said. I'm a legendary hero from another world! Saving hundreds and vanquishing millions of foes. After an untimely death on the battlefield, I accepted the offer to inspire new heroes. After researching this world, I knew we had to participate in your ancient traditions for hero learning."
The blond fairy continued staring, still suspicious of Plagg's claims.
"You hear that! They came to visit our festival! After so long we finally have heroes at our festival!" The dark haired fairy was hardly bothered, fluttering around in elation.
"Fine, if they are true heroes, then they need to figure out how to get to the festival on their own. The gate will only accept those with honorable intentions."
The group dared not check if Plagg seemed at all concerned by this, fearing it would give away their teacher and their group.
Marinette stepped out of the group's hold, stepping around the fairy ring so she could face the tree. She scanned the tree from top to bottom, concluding the higher branches probably had more guard fairies like the ones that kicked out the cat. And the access point would be available to heroes of noble intentions.
"May I touch the tree," she asked the fairies, the blond waving her arm to gesture she may.
Marinette stepped closer to the tree, careful for her feet to stay in a spot that was clear of roots. She reached forward to touch the tree, only for nothing to happen. She tilted her head, trying a familiar knock Tikki used when inspecting the dorms.
"Knock pause knock pause knock-knock pause knock pause knock knock."
Immediately the roots split open, sucking Marinette down into a dirt hole.
"MARINETTE!" Adrien quickly jumped over the fairy ring and dove in after her, the hole staying open long enough for him to pass before it closed.
"I hope he's pure of heart," whispered the blond fairy.
"If he charged in after her like that, he has to be," dreamily sighed the other fairy.
"Are those two a thing," asked Plagg, standing straight as he walked over to the trunk.
"No, well, Marinette says no, but Adrien still likes her," explained Alya.
"Really? He doesn't like the blond girl?"
"Chloe?"
"The loud one from Team A." Plagg started the knocking procedure.
Alya and Nino both shook their heads no.
"Weird," as Plagg finished the last knock, the ground opened up, sucking him in.
"Alright now, you two."
Alya and Nino nodded, stepping around the ring and into spaces between the roots. They both started knocking, then ground instantly opening up and sucking them down. The dirt closed after them, the tree roots resuming their normal position.
"Now the festival can begin," cheered the dark haired fairy as she and the blond fairy flew into the fairy ring, disappearing in little splashes of gold.
Alya and Nino landed in an unceremonious heap on top of their fallen teacher, Marinette and Adrien already safely away from the pile.
"If I had my wings right now I would launch you out of this cave," grumbled Plagg, urging Alya and Nino to clamber off.
"Welcome Heroes," The Blond and Dark Haired fairy reappeared, curtsying before the group, "To the Fairy Glen!"
The group looked around the dirt hole, illuminated by warm crystals similar to the ones in the first dungeon at the school. The circular room they were in, barely big enough to hold Plagg's full human height, led into a smaller tunnel barely big enough for a standing Marinette, the smallest in their group.
"Don't glens have more plants," asked Nino, the fairies giggling.
"You've only reached the entrance of the glen, follow us." The black one took off towards the tunnel, Adrien and Marinette taking the lead followed by Alya, Nino, Plagg, and the blonde fairy.
"Could you tell us more about the festival? Our teacher didn't really explain much other than experiencing fairy culture," asked Adrien, glancing back at Plagg. It was a little difficult to see their teacher because Adrien was leading the single file line of hunched over people.
"Oh, it's the Nulberry Festival! A day for heroes and fairies to work together to gather the nulberries to celebrate a new alliance between fairies and heroes. Then there's a party afterwards with much food and drinking! Don't worry, we have human sized cups just for the occasion!" The dark haired fairy giggled as she explained.
"Nulberries, as in the base berries used for blight potions," asked Marinette?
"Exactly! Humans use them for potions, but fairies use them for drinks! It's a trade of goods and friendship!"
"Sounds like fun," answered Adrien, the fairy giggling before scampering into a wall of vines with a little light peaking through. Adrien walked through the vines first, helping Marinette out, followed by Alya, Nino, and Plagg. They paused, the tunnel exiting to the top of a grassy ledge looking into a circular valley. At the bottom of the valley, in its center was a large tree like the one in the forest, but with more fairies flying around preparing for the festivals. The Valley grew wider the higher you went, ridges poking out with various plants, including the nulberries growing on them. Where there were no extensions of the valley walls, were waterfalls descending to a circular river sounding the basin below.
"It's beautiful," whispered Marinette.
"How come we couldn't see it from the top," asked Plagg, looking up to the blue sky above them.
The blond fairy giggled," You wouldn't see it because it's protected by magic! Plus above us is actually the Fairy Song Lake, one of the biggest sources of water for the whole hero village!"
"We're right in the middle, so no human would ever swim out far enough to ever see us," added the dark haired fairy.
"What about demons?"
Team B looked back to their teacher, stupefied he would ask such a question.
"We have river fairies and the lake's naiad to guard us from scarier demons. Some of the river fairies will even be here tonight for the festival, that's how safe we are," explained the dark haired fairy.
Plagg nodded," good to know."
The blond one began pulling Marinette's pigtail. "Come on we need to get you ready for the festival!"
The dark haired one pushed on Adrien.
"Come on, come on!"
The group followed after the fairies down some rocky steps on the side of the glen's wall, several more joining them singing along with the second fairy.
"Come on! Come on! To the tree we go!"
They made it to the ground level of the valley, more fairies guiding them to the giant tree. The stream was shallow, swimmable by fairy standards and barely covered the foot of their boots. The remaining path was clear as it was the only area absent of decorations, as the fairies led them up to the the trunk of the tree, at the average eye level between Alya, Nino, and Adrien, was a hollow with an ornately carved balcony. On that balcony was the Fairy Queen and her royal court, Plagg nudging his students so they bowed before royalty.
"Rise and welcome Heroes to the Nulberry Festival," she greeted in an airy voice, the heroes and their teacher standing.
"It has been nearly a decade since the last Nulberry Festival with Heroes present, so we will honor this day with great celebration!"
The fairies gathered applauded and cheered at the Queen's words.
"What should we call you heroes," asked The Queen, gesturing to the group.
"Chat Noir," Immediately answered Plagg with a deep bow, the Queen smiling in approval.
"Um, Ladybug," offered Marinette with a slight curtsy. She dared not look back as she heard her teacher snort in amusement.
"Chat Blanc," answered Adrien, scowling at Plagg.
"Rena Rouge," answered Alya with a curtsy.
"Carapace?" Nino's response was more of a question as he didn't think too much of it before hastily bowing.
"Thank you heroes for your names! Now prepare our heroes for the gathering!"
Several fairies flittered forward, gesturing to the various weapons and Marinette's belt.
"It's ok, you can remove them," consoled Plagg as he removed his heavy outer jacket, passing it to a fairy. Underneath his hack was a billowy tunic with a deep cut showing off some of his chest. At the very tip of the V was the start of scare from a devastating injury.
The group followed, removing their weapons, armor, shoes, Marinette's belt, Alya's cape, and Nino's cap. In the end they were left in only their clothes now hanging loosely around their bodies and bare feet.
When the fairies returned from discarding the items back at the top of the other hill did the Queen motion the fairies towards the heroes. Fairies burst from the trees, surrounding the heroes in a golden dust. Slowly, they began to float, Plagg looking a little too comfortable as he made his body to take a seat in the air. Marinette began floundering, Adrien reaching out a hand to steady her.
"It's like swimming."
Marinette nodded, treading the air so she stayed in place, the other members doing the same.
Their hands were quickly equipped with human sized baskets, followed by several fairies sitting inside.
"Let the Gathering Festival Commence!"
The fairies exclaimed in glee as they began fluttering around to the various plants growing on the valley ridges.
"Come on kids, time to gather the nulberries," announced Plagg as he moved his sitting position into a quill thin point, bursting to the other side of the valley. He stopped, landing gently on the grassy ridge near the top of the valley, helping the fairies pick the nulberries to add to his basket.
"Who knew he could actually be helpful," muttered Alya, making swimming motions with her arms and legs to move herself to another ridge.
Nino seemed to be chatting with the fairies, the bard gliding through the air like he had wings in a past life.
Adrien started moving in swimming motions like Alya, only for Marinette's grip to pull him back. She was breathing heavily, still treading the air while the fairies either watched or tried to comfort Marinette.
"You ok?"
"I don't know, something about the air and flying. I don't like it."
Adrien glanced up to Plagg, who also seemed to be watching them while absently picking the nulberries.
"Come on, we'll do this together."
Adrien tightened his grip on Marinette's hand, pulling her to the closest extension. They softly landed, Marinette collapsing to the ground in a heap.
The fairies rush up to her face to comfort her, Adrien shooing them away.
"Is this part of a memory?"
"Maybe, this weightlessness, it feels unnatural yet familiar, but like it should be faster, with more noise."
Adrien frowned.
"Maybe from your past life you died falling," asked a random fairy with pink and blonde hair, only to be scolded by several other fairies.
Marinette slightly smiled, lifting a finger for the secret-spilling fairy to jump on.
"Probably, but I guess we'll never know."
"You just have to work hard and overcome your fear," added the fairy with a smile.
"And we'll help you," finished Adrien.
Marinette's cheeks turned pink, Adrien feeling the blood rush to his own face at her reaction. Only for the fairy to jump between them, "Now let's gather those nulberries!"
The fairies and two teens cheered, Adrien guiding Marinette forward towards the bushes
"The thing you have to remember about flying and falling is it is all about control," explained the pink-blonde fairy, "Your body controls which direction you move, how you land, how fast you fall. You just have to focus on your body and the air, not the ground."
Marinette nodded, her hands shaking as she tried to grab berries, the other fairies helping her.
"Oh, why don't we try jumping," asked Adrien, Marinette's eyebrows furrowing together as the fairy clapped her hands.
"That's a perfect way to start. Just jump from ridge to ridge. Like rabbits!"
"Jumping?"
Collecting the last berries from the bush, Marinette stood up.
"If you think you're going to fall, imagine Nino's platforms and jump again," encouraged Adrien as several fairies dashed forward creating a path for Marinette and Adrien to follow to the next ridge. Adrien led Marinette to the edge.
"Do you want to jump together, or I jump first?"
"You jump first. I need to do this."
Adrien smiled, squeezing her hand before letting go and leaping over to the next ridge, making the landing in a single jump.
"You can do this Ladybug," Adrien cheered, the fairies yelling their own encouragement.
"I'll sit here to help guide you," offered the pink-blonde fairy, Marinette patting her head with her finger before crouching like Adrien did, jumping from the ridge. But her height made her fall short of the ridge.
"One more jump! Just step and jump," yelled the fairy! Marinette stepped her foot out and pushed up with the balls of her feet, launching her back to the ridge. Adrien grabbed onto her arm and helped pull her up to safety. Only for there to be no nulberry plants on the ridge.
"Onto the next ridge!" The fairy flew ahead, the fairies lighting up a new path.
Before Adrien could ease Marinette into the next one, Marinette took off running, jumping on the ledge and up to a ridge higher than the ones the fairies showed her.
"Chat Blanc, there's a lot of nulberries up here," she yelled back down at him.
Adrien smiled, waving to let her know he was coming. Marinette moved away from the edge, giving Adrien the chance to see Plagg sitting in the air near the watery enchantment protecting the city. It was hard to tell, but it looked like there was a face in the water.
"Hurry up, before we pick all the berries," yelled Marinette.
"I'm coming!" Adrien took off, jumping up to Marinette's ledge, the fairies cheering his landing. The rest of their fairy party were helping Marinette stuff more into her basket, Marinette's hands more sure of themselves as they grabbed the berries.
"Save some for us," Adrien teased as he sat on the other side of the plant, him and his fairies getting to work.
The four heroes and their teacher passed their baskets onto the fairies marveling at their spoils. The heroes had filled their baskets to the brim, Plagg's only half full. The Fairy Queen politely said nothing.
"Citizens and Heroes! The gathering has concluded! The festival may begin!"
Fairy flew in opposing spirals before the golden dust exploding like fireworks.
Music from within the tree began to play, fairies taking the opportunities to dance in the air. A few fairies carried wooden mugs to the heroes, Plagg taking a seat in the air as he clashed his mug against some other fairies' cups.
Marinette sniffed her drink, the familiar scent of her blight potions and a sour taste making her nose crinkle before taking a sip.
Definitely too sour!
She looked at her friends, Alya drinking the whole mug in one chug, while Nino took sips, still talking with the fairies.
"Um, Ladybug?"
Marinette looked over to Adrien, passing his mug to several fairies.
"Do you, um, want to dance?"
He rubbed the back of his neck, his cheeks a cute shade of red. Marinette gulped down another large sip of her drink before passing it to some fairies.
"Why not!"
Adrien brightened up immediately, grabbing her hand and making a step to jump higher in the air. He pulled her closer, with one hand on her waist, the other holding her hand. Marinette set her hand on Adrien's shoulder like Tikki had taught them.
"Just look at me," said Adrien with a smile, Marinette returning the gesture as Adrien stepped in the air. Marinette tried to follow along, eventually settling for standing on Adrien's toes as they moved together.
Fairies danced around them in a similar fashion, or spinning around each other in some aerial ballet. But they still managed to stay clear of the humans in their airspace.
"Thank you for today, following along with… everything, and my problem," whispered Marinette as she looked down at Adrien's chest, struggling to come up with words.
"I was wondering why you lied about Chat Noir being a hero to get him in, but considering he seems very interested in this place, it's been worth looking into."
Marinette looked up, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"He's been very chatty with the fairies and the naiad," explained Adrien, "He might be getting more information on this place."
"But what for? The fairies may be a hero ally but they have nothing to offer on the white magic front, which we know that's what the demon lord is after."
Adrien raised an eyebrow, "Demon Lord? He has a name."
"I know, it's just," Marinette sighed, "this day, Chat Noir confuses me. He's weirdly helpful to me, but doesn't seem to really like anyone else. Yet he killed me. He doesn't really work much if he can avoid, so how is he putting together a demon army? What if he's not the same demon lord Mr. Oni mentioned?"
"Another Demon Lord?"
Marinette shrugged, "I don't know. Something about our files is leaving out a lot of information, and I'm not certain what to be sure about."
"You're amazing with different weapons. You have a knack for putting things together, brilliant alchemist, and you are learning healing potions fairly fast. You are a great, level headed leader. You're kind to everyone, demon, human, and fairy alike. I don't need your past life to tell me how miraculous you are."
Marinette's entire face felt like it was burning as she quickly hid her face in Adrien's tunic.
Adrien rested his head on top of hers and smiled as they continued to dance.
"Thank you," Adrien heard her murmur through his shirt.
"Anytime Ladybug."
"Goodbye!"
"Thank you for coming!"
"Be sure to visit!"
"And bring more students next year!"
Team B and Plagg waved at the fairies as they left the giant tree, equipped with their possessions, a fairy flute for emergencies, nulberries for future potions, and more of the drink to go for Plagg. Plagg had taken the heroes' drinks as Alya had quickly learned nulberries made a very interesting alcohol that boosted her flying abilities. The reason they left close to sundown was how long it took to get her down.
"Luckily we found the party when we did, an audience with the fairy folk can only happen on special occasions, and meeting them on friendly and chatty terms can only happen at the Nulberry Festival," said Plagg as he marched ahead of the group.
"How did you find out about the Nulberry Festival," asked Adrien?
"Tikki told me. And I read up on it. She used to take students to the festival for cultural purposes, but something came up 10 years ago that made it stop. She won't tell me. So don't do anything stupid with this information and ruin it for other students, got it!"
Plagg pointed at Adrien, getting close to his face. Adrien batted the demon's hand away.
"I won't do something stupid, so long as you don't do something stupid." Plagg snarled, standing back up as he changed to his demon form.
"What I do is none of your business. And stop following weird things in the forest. You may not like where you end up."
The group stopped, Plagg continuing through the darkening woods.
"Do you think he knows about the cat," whispered Nino.
Adrien gulped, feeling a small hand creep into his.
"We just need to be extra careful for now. For our reincarnation."
Everyone nodded.
"Come on! I can't leave you alone in the woods!"
Team B quickly scrambled to catch up with their teacher, keeping quiet the rest of the way home.
Glad I got a chance to use their hero names! And that there was more Adrienette development. As much as this story is an adventure/mystery, I am always up for the shipping moments.
