"What IS this place, anyway?" Dark Pit asks. He and Wolf are walking down a dark, metallic corridor. "Not sure. The boss didn't elaborate very much. From what I can understand, this is some kind of… lab."
"Do labs usually have dark hallways that are way longer than they need to be?"
"Beats me."
Dark Pit sighs. "Great." As if heeding his wish, a door materializes from the shadows of the corridor. "Finally. Did he say who we were supposed to convert?" Wolf stops in front of the door. "Look, I know about as much as you do at this point." Dark Pit turns the handle. "Noted."
Within the room stood the figures of Pit, Pikachu, and Fox, all bound by electrical wire. They appeared comatose. Wolf walks ahead of Dark Pit. "So what we need to do is create clones and imbue them with Spirits to create Husks, yeah? Simple enough."
Wolf attempts to place the Heroes on top of three different stands above the ground. Each stand is positioned underneath strange faucets. "Well, Dark Pit? Mind giving a hand?" Dark Pit freezes. Even Pit…? he thinks. "Hello? Dark Pit? I can't lift them up myself, you know." Dark Pit snaps back to reality.
Dark Pit helps put Pikachu and Fox up on their stands. "Alright then, now for Pit." When Wolf walks toward Pit but Dark Pit doesn't follow, Wolf raises an eyebrow. "What's up with you?"
"Do we have to do this to Pit? Surely Pikachu and Fox are good enough for now?" Wolf looks confused. "Of course we have to do it to Pit. We can only clone these Heroes so many times, so every one counts." Dark Pit crosses his arms. "Well, I don't want to. Maybe I would've been on board with this when I was younger, but now… the thought of defiling Pit like this doesn't sit right with me." The two stand in silence for a bit before Wolf erupts into laughter. "Ha! You're kidding, right? I've never heard of an evil clone feeling sorry for their goody-two-shoes original. At any rate, you don't exactly have a choice in the matter."
Dark Pit clenches a fist before brandishing his staff. "Oh, yeah? Then make me." Wolf takes out his blaster and aims at Dark Pit. "You're making a big mistake, kid."
"Probably. I don't really care."
"Sephiroth, sir. Ghirahim has successfully apprehended the remaining stragglers. Apparently, they managed to revert Pyra and Mythra," Dracula says. "So it would seem the brainwashing isn't as permanent as we first thought." Sephiroth puts a hand to his chin. "Interesting. Still, it matters not. The Enforcers will continue serving their purpose, spreading the Light Armada's influence across the universe. The World of Light will soon encompass even the furthest reaches of space."
Dracula nods. "But of course. Additionally, there is… another subject of worry," he begins. "Oh? Do tell." Dracula adjusts his cravat. "Apparently… one of the Enforcers, Steve, has gone missing. Vanished without a trace. We have reason to believe it's-" interrupting him, Sephiroth slams his hand on the table. "So it's moving now, too? And so soon… this complicates things."
Sephiroth stands up. "New course of action. From now on, any new Enforcers will have their primary objective be to look into how to combat the World of Dark."
