Chapter 08: Roaring Muscles
Midoriya leaned down to the ground while sobbing with Will right beside him.
All Might raised his arms in a dramatic pose.
"I deem you worthy of my power." Said All Might.
"My Quirk is yours to inherit." Said All Might.
Both Midoriya, with tears on his face and Will looked up at him with confusion.
"Huh?" Asked Midoriya.
"Wait what do you mean inherit?" Asked Midoriya.
"Inherit what?" Asked Midoriya as he tilted his head.
"Yeah, i thought Quirks was something your born with?" Asked Will.
All Might gave out a laugh before looking at them.
"You should really see your face right about now!" Yelled All Might.
Will gave him a look.
I'm really starting to hate this guy. Thought Will as she didn't think that he should make fun of something as this.
"Don't worry, i'm not gonna force this thing on you." Said All Might as he walked over to them.
"Listen well young man." Said All Might as he lifted his finger to the sky.
"This is your choice." Said All Might.
"DO YOU WANT TO ACCEPT MY AWESOME POWER OR NOT?!" Yelled All Might as blood came out of his mouth while pointing at Midoriya.
Will gave a nervous sweat drop when he saw his mouth with blood again.
Is he seriously gonna be alright? Asked Will in concern.
What is he talking about, what is this? Asked Midoriya as All Might rubbed his mouth to get the blood off him.
"There are a couple of things you should know about my abilities." Said All Might with a calm voice.
This caught Midroiya's attention.
"Journalist guess my Quirk is super strength or some kind of vulnerability, when people ask in interviews i always make a joke and dodged the question." Said All Might.
"It's because the world needs to believe that the symbol of peace is a natural born hero like any of them." Said All Might.
"But i'm not, there's nothing natural about my abilities." Said All Might.
He made movement with his arms before making a pose.
"I wasn't born with this power, it's a sacred torch passed on to me from someone else." Said All Might.
Midoriya gasped when he said this.
"Someone gave you this Quirk?" Asked Midoriya in great confusion.
"No way." Said Will in complete disbelief.
"Yes way, and your next, i can give you my abilities." Said All Might.
"Wait a minuet, i thought Quirks was something you had to be born with, how can you pass them onto another person?" Asked Will.
Midoriya nodded as he too never thought such a thing could happen, even to Quirkless beings like him.
"That is normally true but this Quirk is rather unique in comparison to all others, i can transfer my Quirk to someone else and that's just one facets of my secret abilities." Replied All Might.
All Might begins to glow in a bright white light.
"The true name of my power is One for All." Said All Might.
Like as in the old saying 'All For One and One For all'? Asked Will in confusion as to why a quirk is named like that.
"One for All?" Asked Midoriya.
"Yes, one person through the powers then hands it off to another person, it continues to grow in as it's passed along." Said All Might.
"It is this cultivated power that has allowed me to save those who are need of a hero." Said All Might as he put his hand down.
"The truth behind my strength." Said All Might as he clenched his fist.
"But why would you choose to give this power to me?" Asked Midoriya as he didn't seem worthy of it as he was Quirkless.
"What if i can't live up to it?" Asked Midoriya.
"I was on a long hunt for a worthy to be my successor and then i watched you jump into action as the rest of us stood idly by." Said All Might as he still remembers the events of what happened earlier.
"You may just be a quirkless fan boy but you tried to save that kid, you acted like a hero." Said All Might.
Midoriya started crying again, after hearing so much from the very person he looked up too all these years.
"Seriously, you gotta stop crying so much if you want my Quirk, c'mon kid." Said All Might as he patted himself on the head.
Midoriya clenched his fist before shaking his head and wiping away his tears from his eyes.
He then stood up.
"Okay, i'll do it, yes." Said Midroiya with determination.
Will gave a concern look as there was still no clue as to what else this One for All Quirk can do, like if there are drawbacks or side effect and plus Midoriya doesn't know how to even use a quirk.
"No reluctance, that's exactly how i'd figured you'd responded." Said All Might with a smirk.
But as Midoriya figured, receiving All Might's power was a lot more difficult then he originally thought it would be.
Two days later inside Dagoba Municipal Beach Park around the early morning.
Midoriya was trying to move a piece of machinery with All Might, in his muscular form, on top of it while groaning in the process.
"Hey, hey, it's pretty comfy on this bridge, how are you doing down there?" Asked All Might.
Midoriya eventually let go and collapsed the ground with Will being near him and offering a drink of water in case he needed it.
"People move these things everyday, ya know." Said All Might.
He looked away.
"And most of them don't even have super strength." Said All Might.
"Says the one just sitting on his fatass on the top of that thing." Snarled Will.
"Oh please I've lost weight, i'm down to 560 these days." Said All Might.
"In this form at least." Said All Might.
Will gave him a look.
I never gave a number of your weight. Thought Will.
Midoriya sighed.
"Why do you have me move such trash across the beach anyway?" Asked Midoriya in confusion.
All Might let out laugh.
"Take a look at yourself." Said All Might as he began taking pictures.
"What are those photos for?" Asked Will.
All Might ignored her and continued on.
"Your not ready for my power." Said All Might.
"But i thought you said i was worthy." Said Midoriya with tears running down his face before looking at the ground with a glum look and let out a scream.
All Might jumped down and walked over to Midoriya.
"I'm talking about your weak body." Said All Might.
Midoriya looked up from the ground to All Might.
"My power One for All, is a whole lot to handle, the combined physical abilities of everyone's who ever used it creates a hurricane of pure force." Said All Might.
"An unprepared body can't fully inherit it." Said All Might.
"Your arms and legs would shoot off if your tried using it now." Said All Might.
"Seriously?!" Yelled Midoriya in fear.
He shook his head to get that frightful image of his head.
"I get that by why is Midoriya training in this junkyard, wouldn't a gym have more effect?" Asked Will as she kicked piece of junk away from her.
"Think reasonably young lady, if i was seen with Midoriya questions would arise and i would have more time with fans then i would for training and plus with my limitations i can stay in this muscular form, my secret would be revealed." Said All Might.
Will nodded.
"Okay, i guess i can understand that at least but why at someplace near a beach?" Asked Will, now feeling stupid for asking that question but is still curious as to why All Might made Midoriya train a place where people can come by.
"There's another reason too." Said All Might as he walked away.
Will and Midoriya looked at him in confusion.
"I did online research yesterday, turns out this part of the beach used to be quite beautiful but it's been a total mess for the past few years." Said All Might as he knocked on the piece of junk Midoriya was pulling which broke.
Midoriya stood up.
"That's right, because of the ocean currents anything that's dropped in the water ends up here." Said Midoriya as he looked around the junkyard.
"People take advantage of that when their dumping trash now all the locals avoid this place." Said Midoriya.
"Heroes these days are all about showing off and catching flashy villains." Said All Might as he put his hand on top of the piece of junk which broke too.
"Isn't that what you do most of the time?" Asked Will with sass.
"Things were different before Quirks, service is what mattered." Said All Might as he ignored Will's remark and crushed the piece of junk with one bare hand.
Will and Midoriya were stunned when they saw this.
"Back then heroes could only help the community." Said All Might.
"Even if it was a little boring!" Yelled All Might as he crushed the piece of junk all the way to the ground and impacted the ground so hard the other junk behind him flew off.
"You'll clear this entire sector of the beach, that is the first step of your path, young man." Said All Might as he looked at Midoriya.
"Towards being a hero." Said All Might.
They both looked behind.
"Wait he's supposed to move all that by himself?" Asked Will as she looked at the pile behind her.
"That's just impossible!" Yelled Midoriya in agreement.
"Young Midoriya, you want to go to U.A., right?" Asked All Might.
"Well yeah, of course." Said Midoriya as he turned to look at All Might.
"You went there, so it must be the best school ever, right?" Asked Midoriya.
"Just because your idol went there, doesn't automatically mean that it's best, i mean remember we still don't even know what Hero schools are like, i mean who knows what kind of rules they have." Said Will, since All Might refused to tell them what Hero Schools are like.
"But still, i'm gonna shoot for the moon." Said Midoriya softly, with his hand on his heart.
"You got a lot of spirit, fan boy!" Yelled All Might, which made Midoriya blushed.
"But as i mention before." Said All Might as he turned around.
"Heroing isn't easy to do without a quirk." Said All Might.
Will rolled her eyes at that remark, she's mention several times that her friend are heroes without quirks yet no ones seems to listen.
"It's not fair but that's the reality." Said All Might.
"And U.A. is the hardest school to get into." Said All Might.
"So that means-" Said All Might before Midoriya came running to him.
"That i have to get my body used to your quirk a lot quicker, U.A.'s exams in 10 months." Said Midoriya.
All Might help pieces of paper.
"Not to worry kid, I've got that covered, with the help of handy inter pass american dreamland." Said All Might.
On the paper was schedule of things to do for the next 10 months.
"Follow this to the plan and each will be cleaned much as time." Said All Might.
"I also detailed every aspect of your life while i was it." Said All Might.
"That's nothing you have a say in!" Yelled Will.
Midoriya looked over the papers with worry.
"These are my sleeping schedules?" Asked Midoriya in disbelief.
"If i'm gonna be honest this is super hard, think your up to it?" Asked All Might as he whispered into Midoriya's ear.
"Yeah sure i am, i have to work harder then anyone else to get in, so what choice do i have right?" Asked Midoriya.
All Might gave a nod and they got to work.
9 Months Later
There was only about a month until the entrance exam and recommendation exams would begin, Michiru had improved not only in school but with her quirk as well.
She wasn't the smartest student in school but she studied like hell to pass, and the training she had done with Shirou had given her some major progress not only physically, but mentally as well.
She still had a lot to learn about the extent of her power, but she's made progress on controlling it.
She felt ready for the entrance exam but was still nervous, U.A. was one of most difficult schools to get into, and with their entrance exams only benefiting certain people based on their quirks, she didn't know what to expect.
But she remembered what Principle Nezu had told her, she couldn't give up now, not when she was so close.
School had just finished, Michiru was about to walk out with some of her classmates as they discussed getting together for a study group.
Their teacher Mrs. Yasha had called Michiru's name before she left the classroom.
Mrs. Yasha had wished to speak to her about something, she seemed rather thrilled to tell her as even the school principal had entered the room.
"Is something wrong Mrs. Yasha?" Asked Michiru as she raised an eyebrow.
"No, quite the opposite actually, Ms. Kagemori, I'm aware when you first arrived here you told us you wanted to be a hero." Replied Mrs. Yasha as the principal approached her.
"Yes ma'am." Said Michiru.
"For the past 9 months I have seen you work hard not just in academics, but helping others as well." Said Mrs. Yasha.
"I noticed how you've been willing to help some of your fellow classmates and that kindness has not gone unchecked." Said Mrs. Yasha.
"Because of you, your classmates have pushed themselves harder to learn and improve, a student like you with such kindness and leadership is rare, I've spoken to the principal about your hard work and we've decided to have you be put in the recommendation exam." Said Mrs. Yasha which shocked Michiru, as her eyes widened completely surprised by what she said.
"Huh, w-wait the recommendation exam?" Asked Michiru in complete shock.
"In case you aren't aware, the recommendation exam is only for middle school students who show such promise, and so those students are recommended and take the recommendation exam to get into U.A." Said The principal.
"I-I don't know what to say, I'm so honored thank you!" Yelled Michiru as she bowed, thankful for such an opportunity as both her teacher and the principal smiled as the young student was joyful, although she's heard little of the recommendation exam she knows only few are picked for it, only the best regardless if it's their quirk or skills.
"Some of your teachers have agreed with our choice as they have also seen your hard work, so they decided to also give you recommendations." Said the Princible.
"We're so proud of you Kagemori, you'll make a great hero some day." Said The Principal.
Michiru couldn't help but smile as she started to tear up a bit after hearing what he said, her hard work was finally paying off.
Mrs. Yasha looked at the clock realizing Michiru was about to miss the bus since school had just finished.
"I suggest you hurry now, I believe your bus is about to leave." Said Mrs. Yasha.
"Oh your right, thank you, bye!" Yelled Michiru as she finally left the classroom rushing out, waving back to her teacher and principal.
She had come so far and changed so much ever since she and Shirou met in Anima City and now lived in Mustafu.
Mrs. Yasha was proud of Michiru, she knew her students well and she knew Michiru had a rough past, but she still fought through it.
She's gonna make a great hero and a leader someday. Thought Mrs. Yasha
Michiru had just missed the bus, right when she got there the bus left as she tried to call out in an attempt to stop it but no luck.
She groaned, as she sat on the ground catching her breath from having to spring from the other side of school to the bus stop.
Dammit, now I gotta walk home but god who knows how long that's gonna take. Moaned Michiru in her head.
"Are you alright Kagemori?" Asked Tokoyami as he was walking that Michiru was on the ground panting.
He was worried so he walked up to see if everything was Okay.
"Yeah I'm fine, I missed the bus so I have to walk home now." Said Michiru with a groan.
"My mother is picking me up today so she can give you a ride home if you want." Said Tokoyami as he reaches out his hand and helping Michiru up.
"Oh thank you Tokoyami, i've actually been meaning to tell you something." Said Michiru in excitement.
"You seem excited, does it have to do with why you stayed back in class?" Asked Tokoyami.
"Yes I'm taking the recommendation exam." Said Michiru, happily.
"Congratulations Kagemori, it's not surprising coming from you really." Said Tokoyami.
Michiru raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Asked Michiru.
Tokoyami blushed slightly, raising his hands in front of him as he tried to reassure Michiru.
"Oh n-nothing it's just you work hard and I respect and admire you for that." Said Tokoyami with a stutter.
"The fact you're now taking the recommendation exam is truly an honor." Said Tokoyami.
Michiru blushed slightly but was hard to tell as she transformed into her Beastman form, trying to hide her emotions.
But she couldn't help but smile as she hugged Tokoyami.
"Aww I didn't think you cared." Said Michiru, teasingly.
Tokoyami blushed, keeping Michiru from looking as he hugged back.
"Well I'm not cold hearted." Said Tokoyami.
"I figured, you're just like my care taker." Said Michiru as they finally stopped hugging.
"I've actually been meaning to ask you something too, who is your care taker?" Asked Tokoyami, he knew Michiru had mentioned she was raised by her care taker but didn't speak much of him.
"Oh I don't know if you've heard of him, but he's the pro hero Silver Wolf." Replied Michiru.
Tokoyami's eyes widened in shock to hear Michiru's care taker was the newest pro hero of Mustafu right next to Kamui Woods but has made more progress than most pros in the past few months.
Although Shirou was a quiet and slightly reserved person, he always cared about the safety of Beastman back home.
He would do whatever it takes to keep the people safe, and thanks to his abilities, he's caught criminals like Red Terror that have constantly avoided capture and stopped crimes at a faster rate as a new Pro.
Just like Kamui Woods, Shirou Ogami is making a big name for himself.
"W-wait THE Wolf Hero-Silver Wolf?" Asked Tokoyami in a surprised stutter.
"Whose made more progress as a new Pro than some of the Top 10 Heroes in Japan?" Asked Tokoyami.
Michiru was quite surprised at Tokoyami's barrage of questions and that made her, thinking about something.
Tokoyami was definitely a fan of Shirou, she knew Pro Heroes were treated like celebrities sometimes but she never suspected Shirou to be one, especially because of his quiet personality and dislike for news reporters.
She knew since he's a Pro Hero he would be experiencing that but never knew how it would turn out, she guessed now it was going pretty well for him that's for sure.
"Yes, yes and maybe, I'm not sure about that because it might be a long shot Tokoyami but it's not impossible if you think about it." Said Michiru as she treid awnser some of his questions.
Tokoyami eventually went back to his normal self as he tilted his head in confusion to Michiru's thoughts about her care taker.
"What do you mean, do you think he could be part of the Top 10 Pro Hero Japanese Rankings?" Asked Tokoyami in confusion.
"I've known him long enough to know he's persistent and tough, but he has a good heart and will do what he thinks is right to protect others." Said Michiru.
"So I think it's possible, especially with all the crimes he's stopped and support he's getting from the public." Said Michiru.
"I agree, oh my mom's here we should get going." Said Tokoyami as he noticed his ride.
Michiru looked over to see a decent sized silver car, the driver honked twice to signal Tokoyami and Michiru, the window rolled down from the passenger seat as a female driver titled her head down to show her face.
Tokoyami's mother had long black hair that went down to her neck, wearing a dark grey sweater with lipstick that matched the mascara she wore.
"Hey Fumikage, how was school?" Asked Mrs. Tokoyami as she noticed Michiru.
"Hello there, you must be Michiru Kagemori, it's a pleasure to finally meet you!" Yelled Mrs. Tokoyami as she greeted the both of them, Michiru didn't realize Fumikage had spoken to his mother about her but she didn't mind. Michiru waved back as she walked up to the window for a handshake.
"It's nice to meet you too Mrs. Tokoyami!" Yelled Michiru as she greeted back.
"Kagemori needs a ride home if that's alright with you mother." Said Tokoyami.
"Of course, if you ever need a ride home just let us know Mrs. Kagemori!" Yelled Mrs. Tokoyami.
Michiru bowed in thanks.
"Thank You Mrs. Tokoyami!" Yelled Michiru in grattitude.
Both Michiru and Fumikage then entered the car shortly after thanking his mother.
It was a quiet ride to Michiru's home, the two teenagers didn't know what to say really and Mrs. Tokoyami was focused on driving.
Tokoyami was never one to spark a conversation but he didn't really know what to say at the time.
He looked to see Michiru looking out the window, she was still in her animal form from earlier but he didn't mind.
There was something about her that was different, he didn't know what it was but he admired her.
Tokoyami didn't realize that Michiru was looking at him through the reflection of the window, the both of them couldn't tell that they were looking at each other.
Michiru also knew something was different about Tokoyami, despite his reserved and quiet personality, he was willing to help others and be a hero.
Mrs. Tokoyami finally broke the silence as the car slowed down.
"We're here Ms. Kagemori!" Yelled Mrs. Tokoyami.
Both the teenagers came back to their senses as Michiru grabbed her bag and began to leave the car.
Michiru thanked Tokoyami's mother and said goodbye to both of them before leaving after.
"She's been so kind to you Fumikage, she's a good girl for you." Said Mrs. Tokoyami.
Fumikage blushed to his mother's comment.
"Mother, we've talked about this." Said Fumikage as he crosses his arms looking through the window trying to cover his expression from his mother.
"I know but we both know you like her, I know it's been tough opening up ever since your brother." Said Mrs. Tokoyami as she stopped before she could finish speaking.
She knew it was best not to bring back memories that haunted them before, the reason why Tokoyami was so reserved and quiet.
Even after what happened she still grew worried about her son moving on from it.
"I'm just saying, get to know her more, and maybe someday tell her how you feel." Said Mrs. Tokoyami.
"From what you've told me she's different from most people, she likes to talk to you." Said Mrs. Tokoyami.
Tokoyami looked out the window to the city, he saw people who were possibly friends and family walking together.
The fact they seemed so happy together and smiling, he hasn't felt that kind of emotion in a while.
Tokoyami had mixed feelings about it, after everything that had happened to him before, he didn't know what to do.
All he could do now was respond quietly to his mother as he looked down, closing his eyes.
"I know I know." Said Tokoyami quietly.
1 Month Later
And then for the next 10 months, Midroiya went under some intense hell training from All Might.
Midoriya, Will and All Might were running through a forest of trees with All Might on some scooter.
Midoriya was carrying a heavy piece of machinery before he collapsed.
All Might stopped and looked back at him.
He gave off a sigh.
"Hey hey, kid look alive now, you've only got a few weeks left until the exam, wanna flush all down the toilet and take it easy?" Asked All Might.
Midoriya began to move, albeit difficulty.
All Might then noticed something about it.
"Your over worked, the aim to pass this american dream plan was created with your body in mind." Said All Might.
"It was fine tuned to ensure your progress was swift but manageable." Said All Might.
"Which means, you haven't been sticking to it." Said All Might with a glare.
"Your overdoing things, that gonna have the opposite effect of what we want." Said All Might.
"Hey give him a break, he wants to do this as hard as you do." Said Will in Midoriya's defense.
"It's okay Will, i have to work harder." Said Midoriya as he struggles to move.
"Or i won't stand a chance against the other applicates." Said Midoriya.
"I don't just want to get into U.A., i want to excel, i want to be like you!" Yelled Midoriya as he struggled to get up.
"That's fine, Midoriya but you don't need to wreck yourself to that." Said Will in concern.
"I want to be the greatest hero in the world." Said Midoriya as he lifted his head up to see All Might.
"So i'll keep on trying until i got what it takes to do that!" Yelled Midoriya.
This makes All Might think about how Midoriya said he wants to help people with a smile, just before he found out his skeletal form.
Gotta hand it to the kid, he's given it a lot of thought for the future. Thought All Might.
All Might suddenly transformed into his muscled form and picked Midoriya up from the ground.
"That fighting's spirit is just what i like about you fan boy." Said All Might.
Will he drop the fan boy name already? Asked Will in her head.
"It serves you well, i do get your concerns, that said now's not the time to go and rush progress." Said All Might.
"Fear not, i will get you back on track!" Yelled All Might as he got close to Midoriya's face.
Will let out a nervous sweat drop.
Does he have to make everything loud? Asked Will in her head.
"Leave it to this old man to adjust your plans." Said All Might.
"Your not an old man, All Might." Said Midoriya with a wheezing voice.
"Not yet anyway." Muttered Will under her breath.
All Might gave off a loud laugh.
Then as time went by the morning for the exam had finally come.
All Might in his skeletal form came out of a truck and went to beach where the pile of junk, their training ground was.
He suddenly heard Midoriya screaming and looked up to see Midoriya on top of the pile of junk.
All Might looked at the beach and was surprise to see the entire beach was cleared of the junk, like All Might had suggested when they first started.
"Holy crap!" Yelled All Might as he suddenly transformed into his muscled form.
Will, having just been there too, saw that Midoriya was about to fall and used her air powers to catch him.
She gave off a soft smile.
All Might came down to them.
"Excellent work." Said All Might.
"See Midoriya, you can do anything if you put your mind to it." Said Will.
Midoriya gave off a smile to both of them.
"I finished everything, All Might." Said Midoriya, weakly.
"I did it, do you think i'm ready now?" Asked Midoriya with hope.
I hope so cause the exam is today. Thought Will.
"Yeah, you did good kid, i gotta say, i'm impressed." Said All Might as Will put Midoriya down.
"I knew you had it in you, but this is beyond." Said All Might.
"Look at this." Said All Might as he showed Midoriya a picture of his tears falling down his face on their first night of training.
"This was you ten months ago." Said All Might.
"Look how far you've come, such improvement." Said All Might as he looked at Midoriya's now muscled body.
Will now understood why he took that picture, it was to show Midoriya the progress he made from the past ten months.
"You've got a long road ahead of you if you to improve my full power cell, but it's starting to look like you can do it." Said All Might as he was looking at the pile of junk Midoriya put together.
Midoriya let out a soft chuckle as he looked at his own hands.
"All Might, do i deserve this, are you sure?" Whispered Midoriya with a question in hand.
"Of course deserve it Midoriya, you worked hard to get this power." Replied Will.
"But he spent so much time and energy into helping me, how did i end up so lucky?" Asked Midoriya as tears fell down his face.
All Might gave off a laugh.
He's really worried about that after all these months? Asked All Might as he thought Midoriya had to be joking.
All Might gave Midoriya a pat on the back.
"It was your hard work that did this, not mine." Said All Might.
"Now for your reward, Izuku Midoriya." Said All Might.
"Yes sir!" Yelled Midoriya in excitement.
All Might plucked a string of hair from his head.
This made Will confused.
Why would he pluck a string of his hair, how's that a reward? Asked Will in her mind but chose not to say anything as she felt All Might was about to give out another speech.
"Someone told me this once: There's a difference between being lucky and deserving, ones an accident, the other a reward, never get the two confused." Said All Might.
"Take that to heart, Young man, this gift, you've earned it from your own valiant efforts." Said All Might.
The hair is actually a reward? Asked both Midoriya and Will at the same time.
Midoriya clenched his fist in anticipation.
All Might held the piece of hair in front of this.
"Now eat this!" Yelled All Might.
Both Midoriya and Will gave him a look on their faces.
"Huh?" Asked Midoriya in great confusion.
He cannot be serious. Thought Will as she gave off a look of disgust.
"To inherit my power you've got to swallow some of my D.N.A., that's how it works." Said All Might.
"There's no way that the only to inherit it!" Yelled Will.
"This isn't exactly how i imagined it!" Yelled Midoriya.
"C'mon kid, there's no time, you'll be late for the exam!" Yelled All Might.
"Eat, eat, EAT!" Yelled All Might.
This causes Midoriya to scream.
A couple of hours later Will and Midoriya reached the gates of U.A., ready for the exam.
Both Midoirya and Will had to run to the entrance gate as not to be late.
"Barley made it." Said Midoriya.
I was so worried about missing the exam that i didn't have a chance to try out my new power. Thought Midoriya.
Midoriya held his mouth over his hand as he remembered their last conversation with All Might, particularly him eating All Might's hair.
"I may have swallowed that hair but i don't feel any different from before." Said Midoriya.
"Stupid Deku." Said a voice from behind them.
They both stopped and turned around to see Bakugo walking behind them.
"Katchan." Said Midoriya.
"Get out of my way now before i set you on fire." Said Bakugo.
Midoriya in fear backed away as he did what Bakugo told him to do.
"Can't you at least act like a nice person to people, this is something that's required for a hero." Said Will.
He ignored her and walked past them to enter the building.
Midoriya has been confused by Bakugo's behavior recently, ever since the wood villain attack, he's been going easier on him.
They contiuned walking to front door when Midoriya suddenly tripped.
Suddenly he felt himself stop just before fell to the ground.
He saw that Will wasn't the one who stopped him this time.
A short girl of a slender yet curvaceous figure. She is fair-skinned with a perpetual blush on her cheeks. Her eyes are large and round, their irises a warm auburn brown, with rather thick upper eyelashes, two longer and more prominent ones protruding outwards on either side and fewer but more individually pronounced lower eyelashes. Shoulder-length and about the same color as her eyes, her hair is bobbed and curved inwards at the ends, two longer clumps taking the same shape on either side of her face, and short bangs that reach roughly a quarter of the way down her forehead was using her quirk to keep him from falling.
The girl laughed.
"Are you okay?" Asked the girl as Midoriya began to freak out.
He then finally noticed the girl.
She laughed again as she set him back down.
"I stopped you with my quirk, sorry i didn't ask first." Said the girl with a smile on her face.
"But i figured you didn't mind me stopping you." Said the girl.
"Not at all." Said Will as she came up to them.
"Thanks, but isn't this all never wracking?" Asked the girl.
"You mean the exam?" Asked Will as she had a feeling that's what she meant.
"Yeah, well i guess i'll see you inside, bye." Said the girl as she waved before walking off.
Will gave off a wave too before looking at Midoriya as she noticed he was in a daze and blushing.
"You okay there?" Asked Will as she shook Midoriya.
That caused him to snap out of it.
"Holy wow, i just talked to a girl for the first time." Said Midoirya in excitement.
"Ah in technicality, you didn't really talk to her." Said Will before she noticed what he said.
"And what do you mean by a girl talking to you for the first time, i'm a girl too and we talk all the time." Said Will as she crossed her arms with a raised eyebrow.
This made Midoriya really nervous now.
"A-ah well you s-s-see, ah we should g-get going or we'll be late!" Yelled Midoriya as he ran to the front doors.
"He is gonna get it later." Whispered Will as she ran inside too as not to be late.
They soon found the room they were looking for the entrance exam and entered while sitting down while also noting that it was dark.
The lights begin to turn on.
"What's up U.A. Candidates?" Asked a booming voice of a male man with blonde hair and thin mustache.
"Thanks for tunnin' into me, the school D.J." Said the man.
He raised his hand to whole audience.
"C'mon let me hear ya!" Yelled the man.
He turned around for his ear to hear but all he heard was silence.
"Keepin it mellow huh?" Asked the man.
"That's fine, i'll just get to the main show, let's talk about how this practical exam works and how it all goes down, okay?" Asked the man.
"Are you ready, yeah?!" Yelled the man but all he heard was silence again.
Will gave a sweat drop.
Is he actually a teacher from U.A.? Asked Will in her head.
"Wow, that's the voice hero, Present Mic." Said Midoirya with a smile as he gave out a gasp.
Will shrugged.
"You see one hero, you've seen them all." Said Will, since in comparison to All Might, he wasn't that impressive.
"Like your applications says, today you rockin' boys and girls will be after consisting two minuet mock battles in superv urban settings." Said Present Mic.
He then gave off a description of what they were to do when they exams started. A/N: I can barley tell what he's saying so you'll need to see episode itself to describe what he's saying for you to understand.
They each saw a card that tells them what team their own.
"I see now, they're splitting us up so what we don't fight our friends or get help from them." Said Will in realization.
Midoirya noticed she was right, He was on the B Team alongside with Will while Bakugo was on the A Team.
"Okay, okay, let's check out your targets." Said Present Mic.
Present Mic put on a screen with a city and three inhuman figures.
"There are three types of villains in every battle center." Said Present Mic.
"You'll earn points based on their difficulties, so you better choose wisely." Said Present Mic.
"Your goal in this trial is to use your quirk to raise your score by destoying these villains." Said Present Mic.
Sounds like something from a video game. Thought Will.
"But check it, make sure your keeping things heroic, for example attacking other attends is a big U.A. no." Said Present Mic as he waved his finger.
So that means Bakugo can't hurt anyone from his team without costing his chance. Thought Will as she tried to see some silver lining in this.
A boy suddenly raised his hand.
The boy is a relatively tall and muscular young man with a wide frame. He has short dark blue hair, flattened neatly down and parted on the right side of his head, a small patch completely shaved near the base of his head, and rather square eyes which match the notably pointed shape of his jaw. He usually wears a serious expression, and his eyebrows that seem to be permanently pointed inwards, quite thin and long in length, the far ends sharply hooked inwards, and he wears glasses with rectangular lenses.
"Excuse me sir but i have a question." Said the boy.
"What would that be?" Asked Present Mic as the light shined on the boy.
The boy pointed the paper with the monsters.
"On the print out you've listed four monsters not three, with all due respect if this is an error on a official U.A. Paper it is shameful." Said the boy.
"We are exemplary students, we expect the best from Japan's elite, a mistake like this won't do." Said the boy.
That's nowhere near a question, don't tell me he's one of those correct grammar type people? Thought Will as she did not like the idea.
He then pointed to the trio above him.
"Additionally, you with the unruly hair." Said the boy.
Midoriya pointed at himself.
"You've been muttering this entire time, stop that,." Said the boy with a glare.
"If you can't take this seriously then leave, you're distracting the rest of us." Said the boy.
The room laughed as Midoriya held his mouth while saying sorry.
Will gave off a furious look on her face.
"It's hardly your concern wherever he mutters or not and you shouldn't waste people's time, you hypocrite." Said Will.
"Hypocrite?" Asked the boy in shock as someone was willing to talk back to him.
"You raised your hand to ask a question, not to give a statement, either learn the proper procedure or keep your mouth shut, so if anyone here should leave, it's you or better yet, piss off." Said Will with a bite in her voice.
The entire room was more dead silence then it was before, even Present Mic was shocked to hear what she said.
Boy, Nezu was right, she really does have a fiery temper. Thought Present Mic as even he was impressed.
Present Mic cleared his throat to ease the tension and break off the silence.
"Alright, Alright, now as for you, examine number 7111, thanks for callin' it in your request." Said Present Mic with a thumbs up.
He later showed the image of the fourth monster.
"The fourth villain costs zero points, that guy's just an obstetrical throwing in your way." Said Present Mic.
"There's one in every battlefield, think of it like a small solider before the big soldier." Said Present Mic.
"I recommend you tried to ignore it." Said Present Mic.
The boy while still angry at what will said, bowed.
"Thank you sir, please continue." Said the boy as he took a seat back down.
"That's all i got for you today, i'll sign off with a little present, a sample of our school motto." Said Present Mic.
"As General Napoleon Bonavaurd once laid down a true hero is one who overcomes many misfortunes, ya ready to go beyond?" Asked Present Mic with tease look on his face.
"Let's hear it for Plus Ultra!" Yelled Present Mic as the same words showed up on the screen.
"Good luck everyone!" Yelled Present Mic.
Soon everyone went into three separate battlefields with A,B and C.
Midoriya shook as he sweated nervously.
He swallowed nervously.
A/N: Man these episodes take longer then i though, i was originally planning on adding both this chapter and the next together but i eventually decided that would taken too long so i made into separate chapter like the episode counterparts.
